This is an amazing property for those who enjoy being outdoors and enjoying nature. The grounds are huge and there are many areas to quietly relax without feeling you are in a crowd. The staff are very attentive and go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need and all your questions are answered. It was excellent value for the price we paid compared with other Norwegian hotels. Definitely I would return here or recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing hotel

Nice hotel in a super location

We were a group of three guys travelling for personal reasons and just there for two nights. As such we were relaxed and probably pre-disposed not to be hyper-critical of anything. Having said that, the hotel is in a super convenient position, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was truly excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If I'm ever back this way, would definitely stay here again. In the interest of balance, a few minor gripes: the number of 'sleeping policemen' on one of the approach roads felt like a few too many, the shower room was a tad small, would have expected slightly more drawer space in the room, and would recommend you stay off the aquavit - none of which would prevent me coming back if I ever want to return to Asker. Happy days.

What a GORGEOUS hotel! Large and beautifully decorated old hotel. It was so worth every penny. The staff made me a special breakfast because I missed it and I was so grateful but it was also one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Definitely a must book if I return to Oslo

5* Best Hotel In Norway

The place was perfect, brilliant location overlooking Asker and the forests. Staff at breakfast were really good very helpful plus the food was very good quality. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and we will be staying again. Only 20 minute drive from the Centre of Oslo

Beautiful view-that’s why I picked it. Walls in the room were a bit dirty. Shower designed poorly so I had to wipe the water off the bathroom floor every time. I could imagine if people weren’t diligent mold could become an issue. Nice sitting rooms- energy a bit stale in them though.

Fresh water still and sparkling was a big plus for me.

Hotel staff was so kind and would go out of their way to be helpful.. love them!

Yummy breakfast spread. Nice outdoor seating.

Overnight in Asker

I was in Asker for business and chose this hotel due to the location. The overall environment is beautiful with a wonderful view of the fjord. The common rooms were all very nice.The room I had was the standard double - extremely small. The bathroom shower doors had to be closed inward in order to use the toilet. There were not many plugs and when I asked about this I was told to unplug a lamp to use the socket. For me the standard was far below the cost of the room. Choices are limited in Asker - so next time I would request a larger double room if I were to stay again.

Typical Quality Inn

We chose the Quality due to location near friends. It was old but updated. The room we had did not have any views and was so small that we couldn't even put our luggage out.

Asker hotel with a view

This hotel is very pretty overlooking the fjord. The rooms are good although a bit small. The rooms do not have in-room safes but do now offer mini bars. It would be nice to have a hot water maker. The bathrooms seems to have been renovated and are much nicer and better appointed than before. This hotel does give good value for the cost and I would recommend it.

The hotel is very nice with beautiful surroundings. Rooms are very small for US standards, especially the bathroom. There are few amenities and the shower is very tight. The bed is very comfortable and the wireless works extremely well. Breakfast is also very good.

Koselig rent hotell med flott utsikt. Veldig god frokost, med hyggelige ansatte. Rommet var fint, nyopppusset bad. God seng, men den var veldig vinglete, og trengs nok å skiftes ut. Sikkert bare litt uheldig der. Litt lytt fra etasjen over, men sånn er det vel i eldre hotell. Mye for pengene. Parkering med lader er et pluss. Overall fornøyd, hadde kommet igjen:-)

Sånn opplevde jeg oppholdet på Leangkollen

Hadde med hund og det rommet jeg fikk var heltiden ventilasjon så jeg holdt på og besvime inne på rommet.måtte låne en bord vifte etter hvert ! Ble og dårlig av laks som jeg spiste til frokost bordet. Vanskelig og finne informasjon da q koden fikk kun til Strawberry app som man måtte laste ned slitent hotell som man får en følelse av at det ikke blir overhalt eller snart blir nedlagt. Men fint tur område

Venligt og smilende personale. Badeværelse var maget småt, man sku sno sig for at kommer i bad. Der ud over betalte vi 200 kr. for vand udsigt og 200 kr. for PARKERING (dårlig stil) Ingen betjening i baren og ingen fortalte os hvor vi ku finde en kop kaffe.

Framgick inte att man fick betala för parkeringen på hotellet, två första timmarna gratis och därefter 30 kr/ h. Hade varit bra att veta detta innan, kändes lite snopet. Annars är hotellet jättefint och bra. Bra hotellfrukost och område. Vi hade väldigt små rum.

Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer. Das Fenster konnte nicht geöffnet werden. Die Klimaanlage konnte nicht reguliert oder abgestellt werden. Ein 2. Mal würde ich hier nicht übernachten.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich, konnte mein o.g. Problem aber auch nicht lösen.

Flott utsikt hotell som du betaler

Flott utsikt, stille og fint. Men sengen beveget seg med en lyd når du snudde deg. Dusjen var trang. Frokosten var fin, men personalet lurte på om vi ville ha kaffe eller te. Fint, men det klarer vi selv. Da vi var på nasjonaldagen lurte han på om vi ville ha champagne. Veldig hyggelig å tilby det på en slik festdag. Helt til vi sjekket ut. Et glass champagne kostet 279 kr. Absurd dyrt. Pris/kvalitetsforholdet er svært lavt. Du betaler mer for utsikten enn du tror.

Jeg bestilte overnatting her fordi både hotellet og rommet så fint ut på bildene. Det rommet vi fikk var noe helt annet enn hva bildene av romtypen tilsa, og det til tross for at vi var en av veldig få andre gjester. Vi fikk et lite kott i enden av en gang. Det var reint og badet var fint, men det var det eneste positive å si om rommet. Frokosten hadde lite utvalg, eggerøren var størknet og osten var bøyd i kantene fordi den var tørr. Det var muligens bevisst av resepsjonisten å ikke spørre om hvordan oppholdet var, kun si \"alt i orden\" da vi sjekket ut.

Meget dårlig opplevelse. Rom uten kjøleskap med elendig plass. Markiser mot sola som automatisk gikk ned med støy ca kl 08 som man våknet av - ødela utsikt mot sjøen. Elendig mat - spiste hamburger som var kald, \"sausete\" der løk, ost, salat alt nærmest var rørt sammen. Kald og steinhard pommes frites. Åpenbart at maten hadde stått ferdig en god stund før den ble servert, til tross for at det ikke var mere enn 8-10 mennesker i hele restauranten. . Elendig service, uinnteressert kelner som var sur og gretten. Nesten ikke et menneske å se, ingen atmosfære, bare trist.

Forferdelig opphold, styr unna. Rommet var maks 5-6 kvm og veldig lite, sengen steinhard og badet knøttlite. Frokosten var ok, ikke noe å trekke frem. Servicen forferdelig. Veldig gammelt og slitt. Hotellet burde stenge for vanlige gjestet når de har større grupper der. De ansatte var tydelig stresset, løp rundt og ropte til oss. Dårlig plasser ved frokost, da de fleste plasser var reservert til de større gruppene. Mye støy og bråk.

God beliggenhet og stille.

Flott beliggenhet, nydelig utsikt, 20 minutters gange til Asker, bra parkering, og veldig stilige fellesarealer. Vårt rom (374, i nybygget), var lite, men OK, med flott utsikt. Det eneste aberet var sengen, som hadde springfjærer, slik at når jeg beveget meg våknet min kone. Dessuten var det bare en pute per pers. Frokosten var OK.
