Nice pension, lovely town

Don't be put off by the immediate neighbourhood. Astigarraga is a warm and friendly town full of local bars and lovely people.
Bar under pension wasn't open the weekend we were there which was a shame

Buen sitio para quedarte si solamente necesitas dormir, aunque las camas hacen ruido al mínimo movimiento, la limpieza deja mucho que desear, el espacio relativamente era grande.
Para poder aparcar, tienes que irte al parking de zona industrial que hay cerca, ya que toda la zona cercana del hotel está ocupada. No hay mucho que ver cerca, hay ríos, edificios en ruinas etc.
El horario de recepción no se cumplió en nuestra estadía, comunicaron que eran horarios hasta las 10pm, pero a las 9:15pm ya no había nadie en recepción.

In a small town, situated on the outskirts. Walkable to several playgrounds for kids and a bike trail. Some street noise at night from close by restaurants. Not much car noise. Was able to walk to most places in small town with no issues. However, our first night was very hot in the room as their is no AC and they were experiencing unseasonably high temps. Sheets were clearly worn and could use replacement. Overall, a peaceful option in a smaller town outside San Sebastián

Very pleased.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Had a good sized room with a balcony and good sized restroom with a modern look. It was not to far from where we spent most of our time, Old Town San Sebastián. Very happy with this experience.

Perfect for a quick stop over. Well worth cost!

Didnt book the room until an hour before as was driving from Spain to UK and this is practically half way. The staff waited for me despite the latest check in being 10pm and I turned up at 11:30pm. Quick check in. Lovely new spacious room. Perfect for a quick stop over!

Unlucky and no one told us there was a festival

There was a festival happening outside our balcony. We booked the accommodation to try to rest in family during our traveling across Spain, we had very loud music and noise from drunk people until 5 AM. We needed wake up and go back to our tripe at 8 AM. AWFUL!!!!

Disappointment at Pension Bexiam

This was difficult to find. The advertised bar and restaurant were closed. The owner was very helpful once we found it!
There was no kettle to make any drinks- with no bar/restaurant attached this was needed. The bathroom facilities were clean but the ceiling was covered in black patches of mould. We could hear every movement of the people in the next door room. For the money it was expensive.

Basic but did the job

The place was fairly out from anyway but there was a bus stop only 2 minutes walk away.
When we arrived we had our heavy suitcase carried up the stairs which i thought was kind.
Room was very basic and small but clean.
Only real negative was that we could never find anyone around to ask about taxis, information, checking out etc etc

We had been on the road and it was lovely to get an accommodation with a vending machine in COVID times. We safely purchased Drink cans which we washed and drank from with our food that we brought with us. The fridge allowed us to keep things cool and freeze our picnic bricks for the journey ahead. Having dinner outside on the balcony with chairs and table was also a big plus in our book.

Overall I had a lovely time at this hotel. The rooms were cute but a bit small, but the bathroom was very nice with great water pressure in the shower. The only negative thing I have to say about the room is that I woke up to a huge beetle (a little over an inch long) on the wall opposite me. But I told the owner about it, and he said he would fumigate the room. The hotel itself was well kept up and was in a charming area, although it was a little far from the beach. It is right next to a small café where I ate breakfast, and there are two vending machines in the hotel itself.

Great little stopover!

Lovely character building. Clean, nice balcony and the hotel itself sits in a lovely square. Decent bar fifty metres away,good cheap food and variety of beers. Well worth a stopover, we loved it!

I liked the small town feel of the place. It was a nice little room with 3 beds and bathroom. I liked that they had the key sitting out since I got in late and never had to check in with anyone. Wouldn’t mind staying there again if I’m in the area

We and others had no external instructions on how to find the owner. Unfortunately construction scaffolding works noise woke us very early. Too expensive for the one small but clean room and bathroom, stairs, industrial area. Owner helped with luggage and bus a short walk away. Bar and food close by but did not use. Limited parking in square.

Teniendo en cuenta que es una pensión de 2 estrellas, no buscas grandes cosas, pero lo mínimo que debe cumplir y no tenía al llegar (febrero), agua caliente, ni calefacción. Lo dijimos y al final si que funciono el agua caliente, la calefacción (del frío nos tuvimos que ir a la calle a andar para entrar en calor) al llegar nos había puesto un calefactor de aire que hacía mucho ruido y no se podía dormir con él encendido, pasamos frío.
Limpieza escasa, la taza del baño con restos, la bañera con pelos, las puertas, paredes y hasta las perchas con polvo blanco, no sé si están de obras.

C'est une pension à l'ancienne, dans un immeuble de caractère. Tout était bien pour y dormir en cours séjour. Dommage le restaurant en bas de la pension était fermé lors de mon passage je n'ai donc pu le testé alors qu'il y avait de bons avis.

Nuestra estancia fue de 3 noches.
El estado de la pensión es de completa dejadez.
Desde las zonas comunes hasta las habitaciones.
Es un edificio de madera, por lo que cruje cada paso o movimiento y no está insonorizado.
Sin duda alguna, lo peor fue la limpieza. En las zonas comunes había tuberías corroídas, la madera en mal estado y agrietada, suciedad, humedad, etc.
En la habitación todas las paredes estaban sucias, el baño tenía un plato de ducha con cortina blanca, que en la parte baja era completamente negra por el moho y la suciedad. Las sábanas estaban sucias (manchas amarillas y de algo que parecía maquillaje y pintalabios rojo) y tenían agujeros (como si se hubiesen quemado con un cigarro).
Tuvimos que pedir toallas, porque no nos las cambiaron.
Sin comentar que era una tercera planta sin ascensor.
Lo único bueno que encontramos fue la ubicación y el aparcamiento.
Nosotros no volveremos.

Déçu par la pension.

Rapport qualité prix décevant ++++

Propreté n'est pas une habitude de la pension, le logement était sale, nous avons récupérés : cheveux dans la douche, savon usagé des précédents pensionnaires, poussière sous le lit avec option miettes.

Pour 4 jours 750€ cela ne vaut pas le coup.

Le beizema bar/restaurant sont ressortis sympa avec la place et les autres commodités aux alentours.

Ce n'est pas un quartier adéquat pour visiter.

La limpieza mediocre, me encontré debajo de la cama una manzana mordida. No se desde cuándo llevaría allí.
La ropa de cama y toallas, eso sí estaba limpia.
Realmente el precio no corresponde a este alojamiento.

Réservation d'une chambre pour 4 - prix facturé 250€... Très clairement, on est loin de ce qu'on peut espérer pour ce prix, et de ce que les photos présentées peuvent laisser croire. La pension est située en face d'une usine désaffectée, pas rassurant en arrivant. Même s'il est bien tenu et a été rafraîchi, le bâtiment est vétuste et mal isolé. On a souffert de la chaleur sous les combles, même en gardant les Velux ouverts. Du coup, nuisance dûe aux bruits extérieurs (heureusement le bar du dessous était fermé). Un ventilateur à disposition, mais trop bruyant et pas très puissant. Mauvaise isolation aussi entre les chambres, on entend les voisins de chambrée circuler, et les colonnes d'eau et d'évacuations laissent aussi passer les sons... Gros point noir, le sanibroyeur qui fait un bruit infernal et se déclenche de manière intempestive tout au long de la nuit.
A notre arrivée, 1 seule serviette pour 4 personnes. Obligé de retourner à la réception en chercher. La personne à l'accueil est néanmoins serviable et globalement le lieu est propre

Sous toit, hyper chaud. Petit ventilateur mais!! AEC timer donc s’arrête toutes les 2h. Coupure d’électricité la nuit donc plus de vent.
Pas de fenêtres, 2 petits velux mais très peu de vent. Pluie la nuit donc à fermer.
3e étage sans ascenseur. Aucun personnel. Lit trop mou, oreiller grumeleux.
Je voulais me faire rembourser la moitié du séjour mais personne a « l’accueil »

Es ist ein kleines ruhig gelegenes Hotel. Wer kein Luxus braucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. In nur 10min mit dem Auto ist man in San Sebastian. 5min zu Fuß findet man einen Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei.

La chambre était salle, particulièrement la salle de bain. Elle était aussi très humide et sans climatisation ou ventilateur malgré la chaleur. Pour nous rendre dans l’établissement nous devions passer par une terrasse d’un bar où les gens étaient assez pénibles (alcool). Le prix était bien trop élevé pour ce qui était proposé, honteux!

Je déconseille cette hébergement . Impossible de dormir on entend le broyeur des toilettes. Le sol de la chambre coller . La douche et l’évier pas nettoyer plein de sable . 90€ pour une nuit cela vaut pas du tout le coup .

Très mauvaise expérience ! Cet "hôtel n'en a que le titre. Rien que la devanture ne donne déjà pas envie d'y entrer !! D'ailleurs il étais fermé à notre arrivée ! Ressemble à un refuge pour SDF !! Pas du tout semblable aux photos du site.
Des vêtements sont pendu aux fenêtres, l'entrée est introuvable, les murs extérieurs sont dégueulasse !! Un rideau de fer baissé pour vous accueillir et bien sûr, ne parle pas français !
Évidemment, je ne le recommande pas du tout

Suciedad en la habitación. No se veía bien aseada ni limpiada. Y posteriormente…lo que mas nos ha enfadado ha sido que de 3 noches, la primera dijimos que nos limpiaran ( pusimos el cartel ) … limpiaron poco, las sabanas no las cambiaron, las toallas de baño tampoco y lo peor se dejaron la llave puesta durante todo el día pudiendo entrar quien quisiera a nuestra habitación. Mucho que desear en tema de limpieza y accesorios ( la ducha el agua caliente a ratos iba ) … lo recomendaría para 1 noche y si no tienes otra opción.

This little hotel wouldn’t be so bad if it cost a LOT less for what you get! The value for money which we paid per night was absolutely ridiculous. The pictures show all the big, spacious and luminous rooms…the room we actually got was tiny. We are a family of four people with a dog (which they ask an extra 10€ per night for!!!) We couldn’t even open our dogs travel bed in the space we had, let alone walk around the beds, we were basically jumping over things! The bunk bed had the bottom part directly on the floor. There were no bed lights on the bedside tables and no hairdryer in the bathroom (even the most Basic hotels offer hairdryers attached to walls) The bathroom was old with cracks on the side of the tub where you showered. The room was basic with a window at the very end which could only be opened partly as the bunk bed was practically attached to the terrace doors. Since the room was hot and stuffy, we kept the window open during the night, but my boys ended up catching a cold due to the fact that their pillows were right up against the terrace doors! The little terrace which is quite shabby is almost more spacious then the actual room!!! The walls are very thin, so you could hear the neighbours speaking and moving things around!
I’m not one to usually complain and I’ve travelled a lot and slept in worse places but it all depends on what you actually PAY for a room. The space we were offered for the price we paid was definitely not worth even half of the cost!

Nos alojamos aquí de ultimo momento. Tuvimos problemas con la cerradura de la puerta de la entrada a la habitación, no podíamos abrir la puerta. El baño se moja todo cuando te duchas y la cortina de la ducha estaba manchada. Es un alojamiento, de paso para salir del apuro y al que no volveria.

Loads of dustflakes under the beds. Beds are in poor condition. The only way to stop the toilet from flushing is to close the tap leading to the cistern.
On the top floor, there are no windows. Only small and high skylights (no escaping in case of fire). The lights in the hall are flashing permanently all day and night, and make a clicking sound. Wooden stairs make noise when people are coming in late or leaving early.

Okay but not very clean

The staff was nice and the room okay, but there was a very strong cigarette smell, that stayed even if we let the window open all night long.
One pillow was smelling sweat too, and I think it was not cleaned after the last client.

Hyggeligt med altan og bar i stuen

Vi blev meget glædeligt overraskede over pensionen, hvor vores værelse var flot rent, stort og med dejligt badeværelse. Og så var der altan med stole og bord samt en bar/taverna i stueetagen. Det er ikke centralt i San Sebastian, men har stor charme og værten er venlig, hjælpsom og meget fleksibel. Vi fik således lov til at efterlade vores bagage, mens vi tog ind til San Sebastian. Den by skal man se - den er bare dejlig.

Petite pension à quelques minutes de San Sébastien et du stade d'Anoéta...accès pratique, parking à côté. Réception ouverte en permanence et clé laissée à disposition sur comptoir en cas d'arrivée tardive.
Chambre simple, lits jumeaux...salle de bain simple également mais propre.
Bon rapport qualité prix pour la proximité avec la côté basque.
Pas de petit déjeuné mais dans le centre du village, un très bon café boulangerie avec terrasse.
