Adina Apartment Hotel at Darling Harbour ticked every box. Location was excellent, 1 minute from the hotel and you were at the harbour front with its many shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment. Literally next door to the sea life centre/madam tussauds. Despite it being in this location, the double patio doors eliminated the noise from outside. Close by to Sydney Opera House and bridge, approx 1 mile walk. The room was very well laid out with everything you could need. Modern and clean. The reception area and staff were excellent and the pool was an added bonus. Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay and for a very reasonable price compared to others in the area.

Great location close to Darling Harbor with all attractions and restaurants stones throw. But as its tucked in behind its quiet. Great kitchen facilities and washer and dryer for laundry making it a home away from home. Liked the pool which had a cover from the sun. Friendly staff with can do attitudes. Recommended. Celebrating special birthday so given a complimentary treat on arrival. Recommended!

Only downside was this time our room was on the Shelly street side and the traffic noise from the street heading towards the Harbour Bridge was loud, even though there was double glass doors. Would only stay again if could get a room on other side of hotel

For the price and location of the apartment the condition of some of the facilities are poor.

The carpet is stretched and lumpy. The hand towel hanger in the bathroom was sitting in a hole in the wall. The TV in the bed room wasn't showing most of the channels. The Gym wasn't open for most of the day???

There is room for improvement in the facilities.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The location was lovely.

Great location in Darling Harbour

This property was in an excellent location, close to all the sites (such as the Aquarium, Sydney Eye Tower, Madam Tussaud’s and Wildlife Zoo)! The staff were friendly and helpful - our room had a kitchen, washing machine and dryer and separate bedroom which meant we didn’t have to eat out every night and I could wash and dry our clothes before going home.

The good: amazing location, spacious apartment, great value for money, great welcome amenity (free parking) as an Expedia silver member, comfortable bed, convenient parking, great bars, restaurants and vivid festival nearby.

The bad: tv in bedroom didn’t work, kitchen smelt like burnt food from previous occupant, door to balcony didn’t lock, balcony had rubbish on ground (chips) from previous occupant, pool not warm enough this time of year, not enough towels in bathroom.

I only had 2 issues with the hotel, that is it is dated and the bed that we had was broken and needed to be replaced, but they moved our rooms and was advised that the hotel is getting a renovation over the coming months, the other issue i had was the washing machine was on its way out and when i had the maintenance man come to the room i found him to be very abrupt and not willing to listen to my issues, but he came back and replaced the washing machine with another one. After those couple of initial issues everything else was perfect.

Room we had was in poor condition and much equipment missing. No toaster ,no tongs , no dishwashing liquid , no garbage bags , no sink plugs. Whilst most of these were fixed when pointed out , considering we were paying $475 a night for a single bedroom apartment , these matters should not have occurred. Note outside the apartment the roof gutters are blocked with rubbish which caused the balcony to flood and our apartment was then flooded. We were relocated to a room without a view , which we has paid for.

Great Location but a bit run down

The location was great and the staff member that served me was wonderful. However the property is quite run down in places such as the roof above the pool and the pool itself, sauna was broken. We had a two bedroom interconnected room which were fine with nice views but again, alittle run down- with a broken door on the fridge and some fruit still spilled on the carpet from the guest before.

Adina hotel is an apartment building turned into a hotel.
PRONS: It located in excellent Neiborhood- Darling Harbour of the best. (in my opinion is the best) Neiborhood in Sydney. so close to everything !
The room was spacious, and we had a balcony overlooked the part of a harbor,

Location is always convenient parking is easy to find the pool is good everything you need we stayed two weeks ago for a Christmas party and you couldn’t fault that room it was on the 6th floor overlooking the harbour this time we were on the 1st floor in the corner with no view that room could do with a bit of a makeover wasn’t as neat as the room on the 6th floor this room was older one of the lamp shades had mouldy stains on the light shade the tv in the bedroom didn’t work as it was a Phillips tv with a Samsung remote control the tv in the lounge room would only turn on and off by the wall there was no non-slip mat for the bath it’s quiet high to get in and out of and very easy to slip check in time was 3pm and we didn't get a key until 3:15 as the room wasn't ready we will always come back because of the location but it couldn't do with some maintenance

Nice view, reasonable price

Overall a good experience. Beds were comfortable and pillows soft and fluffy. Nice view, but it would have been good to have a specific view photo on the website before we booked rather than a generic one. Reception has friendly and approachable staff, however, getting any services to your room was terrible. I had to call reception multiple times to follow up 2 requests, one of which was never fulfilled. Besides that we had an enjoyable stay. Bedrooms have double sliding doors to block out noise, which was great.

Amazing view from our room and loved the space and the terrace.
You couldn’t use the air conditioning on the top floor as it had a terrible musty smell. When you walked into the hallway the smell was very bad. More so after it rained.
My 86 year old mother couldn’t have a shower for the 5 days as you have to climb into a very high bath to get to the shower.
All the taps in the room were broken and hard to use.
The rubbish bin kept falling out of the cupboard.

This property is in a prime spot and the amenities and staff are first class. The ease of getting around the city from this location is brilliant and with the options made at your doorstep (King Street Wharf), it is a 10 out of 10 as a place to stay.

Room 110 has an enormous balcony and the view of Darling Harbour especially at night is one not to miss.

The only small issues with our particular stay is that in the hallways and entrances, it smells of dampness and the carpets may be overdue to be replaced and the carpark scanners are not exactly easy to use unless you get out of your car or have inspector gadget with you but otherwise a brilliant place and we will be back to stay again soon.
