Nearby bus stops and breakfast places that are quite cheap. Bakeries are open nearby too. Fast food also available and supermarket as well. Hotel provides free transfer to the airport which was a definite plus since we brought many luggage and not easy to go airport in normal public transport. Timing for the last transfer was perfectly timed with our departure as well. Nice feature. Hotel looked outdated and needed to be renovated to make it look new and fresh. Staff are friendly especially the concierge. Great work guys!

I love the location and the amenities nearby. Hotel is smack between 2 LRT stations. Hotel is old yet functional. Pls dont expect anything funky or modern. Good, cheap local eateries and supermarkets nearby. Even with an incoming typhoon, i had no worries at all.

This place is ok for off the main strip. Bed was super comfortable and staff accommodating. Main strip is about 20 minutes walk. The buffet was small however reasonably priced and filled me up.

We enjoyed staying at the Grandview Hotel Macau, it’s centrally located, bus is easily get to other areas or to Macau.
There are plenty of small shops, super markets and restaurants to choose from and it’s in walking distance to Galaxy and Valencia casino. The best part is the hotel provides shuttle bus to HZM transportation center.

I had a great experience at GrandView. The hotel is walking distance from many nice dining options. It’s a close drive to the main strip and the airport. Taxis are always available. For the price it’s a very nice hotel.

I spent a lot of time walking around and exploring, so it was nice having a clean and comfortable room to rest in. The pool and workout room were both good. The staff were very friendly and professional. The surrounding areas were okay, it’s on the older side of town. But this hotel is situated in the middle of Cotai strip and Macau so you can get to both areas quickly via bus or taxi.

My 2 days 3 nights at Macau with my friend were perfect because of this hotel. Staff were all kind and helpful and the location is near bus stop and walkable to the Taipa Food Street. Many stores mear the hotel. Highly recommend.

Reception staffs were very friendly and we were very grateful for an upgrade to the executive floor. Unfortunately the rooms are quite dated, with stains in the carpet and only 1 socket in the room that works. The room was also a bit dusty. However, given the price we paid, the room is fair and OK to stay for the night.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Macau! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly.

Very convenient to travel from the hotel & transport is excellent.
The hotel is in the middle of the prime area (Taipa) & 15 min walk-able distance from well known casinos Venetian, Galaxy etc

With so many fancy hotels available in Macau, Grandview hotel is certainly not outstanding. However, it is a good value if you only want a place to stay. It is not as fancy as other 5-stars, 6-stars large casino hotels in Macau, but it certainly fits my purpose for just want a place to stay over night in hotel.
Room is decent size and clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Fast for check-in and check-out. Easy access to public transport (a bus stop in about 300m with multiple lines.). 7-11 opens 24 hours next to the hotel. About USD$7 for a cab to Macau Airport. US$15 for a cab to the entry of mainland China.

When we arrived at the hotel there was a problem with the reservation. We had booked online but the hotel had not received the booking. It was Saturday afternoon and I had no way of calling the booking agency. The hotel staff gave us a room and told us they would sort everything out. We were able to enjoy our stay without worrying about anything. When we checked out everything had been sorted out. This is fantastic service and hospitality you rarely find. Staff here are exceptional. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

TERRIBLE ROOM SERVICE!

Quarrelled with room service because they refused to serve my son hard boiled eggs and cereal as breakfast time is over. Kitchen manager said no. Had to call Hotel Asst Manager to demand for the hard boiled eggs. The Hotel Asst manager Ms Vienna is very nice and accommodating. But the room service people were all very rude. That kitchen manager will never accommodate your requests. The hotel needs a new kitchen manager! So if food is important to you, then this hotel is not for you. Vicinity is good. Taxis easily available. Supermarket and restaurants nearby.

Front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant. English was excellent and helped with area maps. Beds were comfortable, Wi-Fi was good.
The hotel restaurant was so-so, but lots of other restaurants within walking distance in the immediate area. Grocery store 2 minutes' walk with lots of variety.
Short cab ride to the big hotels (Venetian, Parisian, MGM, Wynn, etc.) Free shuttle bus to and from the Ferry terminal.
Only negative thing I really noticed was that there were no wash cloths for some reason. Although I didn't call the front desk I would have expected a new set on my second morning, however there were none provided when the cleaning staff made up the room. I found them on my third morning as I was getting ready to check out - they were on top of the mini fridge inside the mini fridge cabinet along with two unopened bottles of water. Impossible to see unless you were on your hands and knees.
I have no idea how or why they would be there - I assume the previous room occupant did it as joke?

Overall an excellent value in a very expensive city!

The whole experience would have been better if the check-in counter staff on the day of our arrival had been more helpful. She didn't greet us and didn't smile and was not very polite. It was not a pleasant start...luckily the hotel was commendable or I would have given a bad rating for this.

Hotel staffs are friendly and very polite. The room is spacious and clean.
There are a few cafes near the hotel, less than 5 minutes walk to get your local meals.
Airport is only 10 minutes drive away by taxi (est HKD43) or 20 minutes by bus no. MT4 (HKD 4.20/pax).
Galaxy, Venetian and a few other casinos are walkable (about 15 minutes) from hotel.Otherwise, this hotel also has their own casino which is good enough to kill our time while waiting for time to leave for the airport since it's raining outside.

EXCELLENT HOTEL AT A REASONABLE PRICE

I stayed here for 4 days at the end of a holiday to Hong Kong.It is in fact a Hotel/Casino though not in the same class as the Venetian or The MGM. The cost was well below the posted rates. It was very quiet though there were a significant number of families with small children staying. It is located a few Kilometers from The Cotai Strip. Taxis were cheap and there were a number of local buses that I did not sample. They seem to be building an elevated railway at the end of the street to link the main locations. My room was palatial. The only fault was the air conditioning which was set by staff to 15 degrees - too cold for April. I set it to 25. There were a lot of staff but very few spoke English. Reception were very helpful and the lady on the phone was very good. Some of the notices were only in Chinese. I found out on my last day that there was a swimming pool. There was a free shuttle service to Macao Ferry terminal though not to the Taipa one which is nearer.

Good price for Saturday stay and which restaurant around, just shuttle bus between Ferry Pier to hotel which about 1 hour once thats inconvenience. Cleaniness room and very soft bed.

I have stayed at the hotel quite a few times and been very impressed. The beds are always comfy, the view was nice and the hotel clean. However this time I was not happy... got there and there is scaffolding all up the front of the hotel so they must be doing some refurbishment and they were working on the front doors so it wasn't a very nice experience entering the building. Then the room they put me in was on the other side of the hotel which I haven't stayed before which had a HORRIBLE view. The floor was smelly once I got out the elevator and the room was freezing cold because they put the air con on MAX. The bathroom was also dirty which black all up the walls and the tap on the sink was not secure and was moving every time I turned it on and off. Even though the bed was massive, it didn't seem to be as comfortable as I remember in the other rooms. They put me in 'executive suite' this time but I actually much preferred my stays in the normal suites before on the lower floors.
