The check in process was easy. Nice clean and inviting front lobby. The hotel lobby is very inviting. It has a nice family atmosphere. The room is clean. Very nice and just what I needed. Staying 3 nights. Laundry here and was one thing I needed. Didn’t do breakfast but it looked awesome. Would stay here again when I come back to Berlin.

I have stayed at this hotel in previous years however this year we didn’t have any clean water nor hot water for one of our nights. This was due to the water company doing work on the water main.
The water was yellow and foul.
I spoke to reception and he didn’t offer any apology but said that it wasn’t their fault or responsibility.
I contacted the manager and he said the same but did apologise.

We’ve stayed at this hotel on many occasions during the last few years but this year we experienced no hot water, which meant we could not wash properly for two days. On one day the water was also dark yellow, we had to buy water from the shop to brush our teeth. This affected our cooking as well!
When I complained I was told that it was due to the water company and not the fault or the hotel and that I would not receive any form of compensation from the hotel. Even though they had known about the situation and they had apparently cancelled some guests from staying due to the water.
Being shouted at by the receptionist also wasn’t nice.
Not even a sorry from him, just being spoken over and being told it wasn’t the hotels fault.
Very poor show!

This was our second visit to Berlin, and we returned to Adagio because the place is so friendly, well situated and has all that we need from an apartment. Being able to cook in the room with supermarkets close by is a real plus point, although there are some great places to eat nearby. There are great facilities in the room and in the hotel too. Staff are very helpful and multilingual. Travel is easy with many bus and train lines nos within walking distance.

The properties laundry was serviceable just a little limited, due to the number of machines. We only had breakfast once, expensive for what was offered.
The staff generally were okay, but it only takes one to be a little dismissive to make other staff that were pleasant suffer for it.

An ok stay. Unfortunately no one was at reception and we were stuck outside the building when we arrived - even though I confirmed via email our arrival time and was reassured there was a 24/7 reception. Intercom was not working. Very frustrating at 1am!
Apartment was ok - more of a bedroom with a small kitchen.
No lounge area - and only one chair so took away the point of having a kitchen as we couldn’t sit down on a chair to eat.

Good, safe location about 15 mins walk from Zoo station though there are closer U-bahn stations. We arrived 1hr before check in expecting to just leave our bags but were allowed to check in. Rooms have a small kitchen area with microwave, fridge, coffee machine, two plate hob which was very useful, saved quite a lot of money being able to make a coffee. There is a Lidl supermarket 2 mins from the accommodation. Will definitely stay here again.

Convenient location, well equipped studio. Would have loved to have a chopping board. Quiet location, no noise at night. Layer of dust under the bed.
The bed is a pull-down bed, that you can't put up to make space for a table, or to use as a sofa during the day.

I recently stayed here and had a fantastic experience! The location is absolutely perfect, situated right in the heart of the city and within walking distance to some of the best shopping areas. Whether you’re into high-end boutiques or local markets, everything is just a short stroll away.

Great location, close to transport links and a high end shopping street (Kurfürstendamm). The lobby has a very relaxed atmosphere. The room has everything you need and was cool enough even on the warmest nights. Be aware if you set off the fire alarm when making breakfast you are liable to a fine of 1500 euro. Very good property, at a very amazing location in Berlin, right in the middle of the high fashion district, surrounded by luxury stores and cute cafes.

The reception is very helpful, the property is very well kept and immaculately clean. They have a really relaxing lounging common area for all the guests.

The rooms too are very well kept and organized and with all facilities of a kitchen and bathroom.

The property is around 960 meters away from the closest metro station.

Freezing start!

Nice comfortable stay at the Adagio. Arrived late 23:30 due to flight and train drivers strike. Couldn’t get in the front door because nobody was at the reception desk. Spent 10 frustrating minutes in the cold before someone exited and we got inside. Still nobody at reception and nobody answered the phone number supplied. Finally someone came to check us in.
Room was ok but looking tired in places especially on the corners of the kitchen and the kitchen wall below the counter which was tatty. The service wasn’t as good as last year! Reception promises were not kept. Although the staff were generally friendly. Good location!

This is an apartment hotel. They don’t clean your room during your stay. I didn’t know when I booked it. But they emailed me immediately that it is like that. I didn’t think of it that much at that time. But it definitely was an issue for me after two days. The room had a kitchen with all the necessary things for cooking which I didn’t use. It might be good for some people but not for me. The breakfast was fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay at the Adagio. Very clean, well maintained hotel. Our room was large and clean, with a full kitchen. A block off the main street Ku-Damm in a quiet location. Close to many restaurants and grocery stores. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well stocked. Staff very friendly. Appreciated the later checkout as our baby was napping. Would definitely stay again on a future visit to Berlin.

Our apartment was in the first floor and it was clean and there was space enough for our family but it was very dark in there. I mean that even with the lamps it was dark inside the room. All in all we liked the place and could go there again.

This would be a great aparthotel for spring, fall or winter. It's on a side street and relatively quiet. It's nice to have a kitchen.

However, there is false advertising as there is no real air conditioning. They say they have an \"eco air-conditioning system\" but it does not cool the rooms. You have to open the window, but windows only open 2 inches. You then have to have special permission to have staff unlock window to open it completely. Even with windows open, it was still quite warm. Funny that the lobby is cool, especially the area in front of the elevators.

The picture is missleading the bed is a murfy bed that folds up. So you can put a table and two chairs. So hard to find space to eat when the bed is down the bathroom is huge. So not a good lay out .to much furniture.
Pillows are horrible. They wanted 3 euro for another towel .

Great customer service, the staff was very friendly and super helpful. I was not satisfied with the cleanliness of my first room nor my replacement. I was so exhausted, I just fell asleep in my replacement. The beds were clean and white. The room just needed a good sweep and wipe down. Some dishes needed to be clean again. The hallway have a weird smell, I think the carpet needs to be cleaned. I’m overall stay was good because of the staff.

The only reason I didn't give this hotel 5 stars is that the wifi wouldn't connect with my laptop, though it did connect with my iPhone. I have used the laptop with wifi in dozens of other locations so it's not a problem with the computer. When I inquired about this, the receptionist was polite and tried to help but also could not find a solution. I did need to use the computer for work so this was inconvenient.

A* Apart-Hotel - Gr8 location & good kitchen

Great location for the public transport to see the sights and an easy walk to Ku-Damm and the zoo.

For those of us who like to have a fridge and cooking facilities it's great. Have your own food and drink whenever you like. Fridge was excellent, microwave had a grill and convection oven! Fantastic. The bathroom was great.

Only two negatives to the room I had (415) - the air-conditioning didn't cool the room sufficiently. And the pillows were weirdly soft and limp. Room 417 had similar pillows but the air-conditioning in that room worked very well, so obviously something amiss with the air-conditioning in 415.

Hotel is set back from the main road so noise is minimal except when drivers honk their horns! Oh, and if noisy guests return to the hotel at midnight announcing loudly \"I'm going to my room now.\" I think the hotel could put signs up on the approach to the entrance to remind people to show some noise consideration for other guests.

Overall a nice stay, some issues along the way

This was overall a pleasant stay. Check in was very easy and the staff were always friendly and helpful as I had a couple of issues with my key card. The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was generally clean but we found a lot of hair in the apartment. At first it was a person’s hair which we found in the bed sheets, the bathroom and in the kitchen cupboards amongst the pans? Then we kept finding smaller hairs and we realised this was actually dog hair all over the floor. We swept the room on the first day but we continued to find it even 5 days later. Other than this, it was a nice stay - the room was private and we had quite a nice view from the room. The shower was also a good one which can make a difference and the kitchen was well equipped with a coffee machine etc. It was very quiet during the night but it did get pretty hot in there even with the air con on and the pillows weren’t the best. I used the gym which was fine and there were some tissues and hand sanitiser which I used to clean the equipment although I’m not sure if that’s what it was there for. The location was very convenient with an U- and S-Bahn nearby. On balance, we had a good time.

Superb Xmas Time in Berlin

This Adagio is a great choice for a long family stay in Berlin. It is in good shape, quiet and clean. Location is in the pleasant/safe area of Ku'dam. All transports and shopping sites are available nearby. The staff was helpful when needed and always on a friendly mood, which we really appreciated. We'll be back!

I stayed there with my cat in different rooms for just over two weeks whilst flat-hunting. The staff there are fantastic: friendly, great communicators, quite discrete when dealing with a personal problem I had and much nicer about another issue that I'd caused than they really had to be. The hotel itself has loads of activities for guests and the location is quite convenient for shops and transport.
My only real complaint would be that their fire alarm is a little too sensitive and went off a few times on the first week of my stay. However, I suspect they may have even fixed that as it didn't go off on the second week.

I've had some bad luck with other hotels in Berlin so I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the Adagio in the end. Not sure if I would need to stay there again now that I have a flat but I would definitely recommend them and I wouldn't mind returning if my circumstances change.

An apartment of your own in a hotel setup. Equipped to prepare your own meals. For me location was good , its not close to city centre main attractions but within an easy reach with public transport , Berlin Zoological is 15-20 min away walking , also Potsdam is closer from there than from the centre.
abundancy of restaurants and cafés around , also a couple of large supermarkets less than 5 minutes walk .
Very modern hotel , my studio apartment was rather small , and I think without the genius of the architect designer it would feel even smaller , but I liked the idea.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful , speedy check in and check out .
For the price I was offered , I will definitely stay again.

They said that as it's a ApartHotel there will be no room cleaning for the entire stay now if that's the case that you are not going to provide such a critical service you should mention it is bold capital while booking the room.
Also the wifi wasn't working and when I complaint they said it is gonna be like this for free wifi.
Washing machine was too costly 6+3 euros.

Good apartment hotel, but a few things are missing

New, clean hotel, dishes in kitchen are sufficient for breakfast and supper, but not enough to prepare a dinner. Very good location- supermarket across the street and subway 10 min walk, a lot of good restaurants and shops around. From disadvantages I would like to mention shortage of shelves to keep small stuff, hotel provides only one cabinet next to the bed, hotel not provides any broom or brush to sweep the floor. Due to cleaning is only 1 time in 8 days hotel should provide something to keep floor clean

Disappointed

They are under construction. They started working with the drills at 8:30am one morning after our 12h flight from USA. Also, there wasn’t any pan to cook. We had to wait to get one.It was an apartment with kitchen so we just thought at least we can have a pan. Hope everything gets better after construction is done. The only great thing is the location.

Nice place, well positioned

In a great position for Kurfustendam and undergound / overground trains. lots of restaurants nearby. kitchenette adequate for cooking a meal if desired, decor clean and modern.

Great for Families visiting Berlin

This is a great option for families! The aparthotel 1 bedroom has apartments with separate bedrooms (with doors that close), allowing for young children to go to bed early while the parents stay up. The kitchen is well equipped, and the whole apartment was very clean. There is an underground parking garage that can be accessed via an elevator in the lobby. The breakfast (if you decide to add it) is complete, there were eggs as well as breads, meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt and fruit. And the staff was not bothered at all by our very excited children!
We thought the location was great! Easy to get to by car, and then easy to get around Berlin by public transportation once we got there. Many nice restaurants within a few blocks.
If we return to Berlin, we will definitely stay here again!

Good Location for Long Stays

Room was comfortable in a very nice and quiet area. Close to supermarkets Lidl and Edeka. The only problem was that the description stated that there would be one double bed and two single beds, however I think they mean one double bed OR two single beds (the bed was a sofa bed).

Good place to stay

Nice apt with 24 hour reception. Good location.
Fully furnished kitchen, however since there is a coffee machine here,it would be nice to have some coffee and tea sachets as you would If you were in a hotel. Don't expect the TV to be in much other than German. Kitchen bin was still full from previous guests but other than that a nice place to stay.
