The hotel itself is great, but I was disappointed by the additional fees. Charging $25 per night for parking on the property seems excessive, and the $39.48 nightly destination fee per accommodation feels unreasonable. These extra costs significantly impact the overall value of the stay.

It was a really nice experience! We all enjoyed the pools, the breakfast and the s’mores particularly. The staff were really nice and the shuttle to sea world was greatly appreciated. We could definitely come again!

Our room was clean and beautiful and so was the hotel. From a design standpoint every space was lovely and interesting, the artwork that was chosen was pleasing and added to a high end/minimalist western aesthetic

My only qualm was the absolute insane wait time for breakfast. It took about 30 minutes to seat us and another 20 to take our order. I gave 4 stars for the staff because I couldn't tell you if it was an issue with the wait staff or management not hiring enough help/over working them. I waitressed about 10 years ago and didn't think the breakfast was very busy but it's hard to say what else they could be responsible for in the back. Also, the wait staff was extremely friendly despite the wait time and the breakfast bowl was delicious.

The bloody Mary had no vegetables or garnish which was a disappointment! I would think it could be elevated to be a Texan style with some options. The bartender was very nice and professional though so again, 4 stars for staff because I truly think they were doing the best they could and maybe management needs to tighten things up on their end.

Staff was good. Arrived during time when raining heavily and no one was at front door area to assist. Room was not in a presentable condition and the Room temperature could not adjust Room was cold. Restroom the hot water by the vanity never got hot.

Stayed here a weekend with my family and rooms were very clean. Comfortable stay. Also enjoyed the pool area and it had a bar with a sweet bartender who made the trip that much better. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to San Antonio.

The kiddie pool was perfect for our toddler! She didn’t want to get out! By far that was my favorite part of the hotel. The smores at night and the patio area were just so cozy too. My fiancé said the gym was clean and beautiful with a lot of updated equipment. A lot of people seemed to complain about the parking situation. But, I didn’t mind paying knowing that our car would be secure and wouldn’t get broken into. Our suite was clean. But the bedsheets did have hair strands that didn't belong to anyone in my family and there were crumbs or bits of debris between the sheets. I noticed them the first night we stayed. I’m a huge germaphobe and immediately shook the sheets and sprayed Lysol everywhere. Minus the situation with the sheets, the hotel was beautiful and staff was kind! We can’t wait to go back! Hopefully, the cleaning staff will be better at throughly cleaning.

Did appreciate $39 resort fee and $28 car parking fee. Should have been in the reservation fee. Misleading cost. AC did not cool to setting, mattress could be better quality.
Hotel is very nice and had great amenities - pool, fire pit area and dining.

They seem to promote heated pools but none were. And even hot tub was lukewarm at best.

The room and staff were what one would expect of a Hilton. Our attempt at breakfast, however, fell far short of satisfactory. Coffee, oatmeal and eggs were essentially at room temperature, i.e., cold. Our young waitress attempted to correct the issue with cold coffee but that was not the case.

Friendly breakfast staff, but slow service. Kitchen closes at 10:30 and we arrived at 10:00. Waitress did not take drink orders with our food orders, and when we realized we forgot to order drinks and asked for coffee, we were told they had already emptied the coffee out. We got breakfast 4 days in a row—slow 3 out 4 days (including the day asked for continental breakfasts to go). Tuesday was a new waitress to us and she was excellent and knew the menu—asked if wanted anything different than what was on the menu, and food got to us quickly so maybe was just a weekend staffing issue. All the staff were very friendly, so we didn’t mind the wait too much since we weren’t really in a big rush except the day wanted to grab and go.

The campfire breakfast was really good. Enjoyed the pancakes with potatoes and bacon. Enough to share if you also want to get an omelet and maybe add another breakfast meat (my mom and aunt added sausages the first day and ended up not being able to finish it all, so I got to have some pancakes). So we would eat there again despite the wait.

While the daytime staff was wonderful, the evening staff was less than enthusiastic in my welcoming and in handling issues.

Okay stay for a Family Night

Pool had no towels available on Saturday afternoon...and no one staffing the bar during the 45 min we were out there -- approx 330p- 415p. Disappointing bc that was the only time we had out there before the storm hit.

Also pool could have used some skimming as we were busy plucking leaves and debris out.

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars on overall and cleanliness, is because they really need staff (at least two persons) on the pools areas. After a windy night, both pools were very dirty with debris the next morning and nobody did nothing about it. I even asked to see if I could borrow the net to clean all the leaves but they couldn’t find one.
Other than that, it’s a great place to get away and relax.
