Clean room and very close to the horse park. The lady behind the counter was delightful.

While the room was clean, the bathroom door would NOT shut. The front desk staff the second day we were there couldn't have made it anymore obvious that she was miserable... breakfast is available daily but it is a very small selection.
Pool was open and was nice! Just wish they didn't cover up the hot tub!

It was a nice facility and convenient to the places we needed to go. The staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants in the area for us to go eat.

Checked in about 9:15 pm. Immediately went to take a shower when I got to my room, only to realize there was no shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or hand soap. No biggie. Went back downstairs to ask for some. Chitchatted with the front desk guy for just a minute or two. Got back to my room and took my shower. Grabbed my phone upon leaving bathroom to see I have a fb friend request from the guy at the front desk at 9:38 pm.
I’m a single mom with two kids arriving late from out of state and you think it’s okay to look me up and add me on social media?
While sitting and debating what to do, my son informs me that he found a cockroach in the cabinet where the fridge is located. Upon inspection, I find some too.
Generally, it seemed clean other than the floors being really sticky.
However, after no longer feeling safe to stay there and finding the bugs, we decided to leave.
Checked out about 11:10pm. I was not offered any sort of refund.

Nice room. Great shower
Richard
Hotel was great. I got there to check in and Hotels.com had not sent them a payment for my room that was confirmed three weeks prior. They also had it for the wrong day. The hotel staff was good in getting the wrong day cancelled and getting me a room. I had to pay them again for the room even though I had a printed confirmation in my hand for the correct day from Hotels.com. showing paid. Very unhappy and concerned about Hotels.com.
Carole Marie
The hotel was a convenient stop on a road trip. It was clean and convenient and the staff was friendly. I would stay here again.
Shari
Breakfast wasn’t super great. Staff was though
Erin
Beautiful hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great location. Decent breakfast spread. Only complaint, I thought it was a little tacky that they had a bedazzled jar sitting out for tips in the literal middle of the breakfast counter, front and center. That’s just me though.
Larry
I don’t want to write a review. Thanks.

Barney

Diane

Stayed here for a packed weekend — ran the Horse Capital Marathon and caught a day at Keeneland, and this hotel checked every box. The location is perfect: just a short drive into Lexington, so you’re close to everything without the downtown price tag. No issues with parking either.
The room was spotless, and the electric blackout curtain wad a genuinely nice touch — exactly what you need when you’re trying to get a good night’s sleep before race day. The free breakfast was solid, and there’s even a First Watch right nearby if you want to mix it up in the morning.
Everything was clean, the staff was welcoming, and the whole stay felt effortless. If you’re coming to town for the marathon, Keeneland, or really anything in the Lexington area, this is a great move.

Hotel clean. Needs maintenance. Our door creaked like a haunted house. Toilet handle broken. Breakfast wasn’t great. One day no milk. One day no spoons. One day no eggs. Ran out of coffee. With so many mid-level hotels in the area we probably would not stay again.
Carol
Everything was great except the temp in the room. Can't turn it down below 66. To me the room was hot and stuffy
Makenzie

Room was clean, comfy beds (pillows too soft, though). Parking felt safe. Friendly service. Breakfast area was clean, food fresh and hot with a great variety.

Air didn’t work after telling desk twice. The room was so humid my things were damp…
Very poor.
Very poor.

Most of the parking lot was closed due to seal coating of the asphalt. No parking available when I arrived. Very poor planning by the management. I didn’t appreciate the inconvenience.
Beth
We had a very nice time.
Andy
Hot night sleep, hotel certainly dated
We got in around 10p after a long, hot week, spent all day outside at the Kentucky Horse Park (90 degrees +). We looked forward to a cool room and a nice shower. Unfortunately, the air conditioner wasn't keeping up. No thermostat in the room, but felt like it was close to 80 in the room. Thought a cold shower might help while air conditioner was cooling room down, only to find no shower gel in the shower....
We gave the room an hour to cool down, but it didn't much at all. At that point, we had showered, opened suitcases, etc. We decided to just suck it up and sleep in the warmth. It wasn't worth moving rooms or bringing our concern to staff that late at night.
All staff, during check in and check out were very kind and hotel was clean. Breakfast was okay as well.

Property location ok. Hotel showing signs of age. Limited tv programs, plus streaming kept freezing or fading in and out.
Janet
Staff was so friendly. Nice after a long drive. Spacious and clean. We can always count on Hampton Inn
Jo
Great location but room needs some tlc.
Smears all over door, both mirrors were dirty.
Floorboards don’t join to the wall so gaps.
AC so loud couldn’t have it on and sleep

Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good for something fast and easy. The staff were friendly.
Mellisa
We arrived late into our reservation. The hotel staff were friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast had many options suitable for many diets. Best part, the pool opened early and our kids were THRILLED. PS, the fitness center is 5 star for a hotel gym. There are several cardio machines and equipment for CrossFit and other workouts with two racks of free weights. Everyone in our party found something to be excited about.
Andrea
Need more secure on the side doors
Russell
Nice
Cody
It's was pretty good. We didn't stay that long but the room was good, it could have been cleaner. But other than that it was good. We was in town for my grandsons dirtbike riding at the horse arena. The breakfast was okay, the juice dispenser was broken and they didn't really have much stocked up. The lady at the front desk was very nice tho.
Peter
Needs Maintenance
Room seems a little run down. Smelled like food. One pillow smelled of perspiration. There was a small loose piece of baseboard lying on the florr. Staff was helpful and friendly. TV channels were limited. Wifi was a good but a little confusing to access.
Crystal
The room was very clean and comfortable, however the lobby and downstairs restroom needed attention which is unusual in our experience with Hampton Inns.
Alexandra
Great stay!
Larry
it took forever for the water to get hot
Stephanie
It was great.

Everyone was really nice, room was nice, clean and quiet and breakfast was good!

Very friendly staff. Clean room and bathroom. There are plenty of breakfast options.

Convenient to the Lexington Horse Park, carpets are dull and outdated, one working ice machine for the entire building with no signage as to where that one machine is located.
Lyndon
Great place to stay !

Good
Chris
As are most Hampton Inns...they are awesome. Had no complaints, stayed 2 nights.

Construction going on. EXTREMELY NOICY. Had to move
To different floor. Front desk did know when workers start or finish for the day. Answer was “I don’t know I work afternoon”… Guest should know about renovations when they check in. Front desk poorly run by young man. Not happy with visit..

Quick ky trip
Great location a lot of dining near by.
William L.
Very disappointing.
The building was undergoing a renovation which from the condition of the room and furnishings was much needed.
Michael
Outdated, dirty, water smelled, bathtub was stained and looked dirty ants. They are in the process of updating their rooms, but a little late for me.
Jennifer
Disappointed
Hotel has major construction going on. Construction dust everywhere, including the check in counter and breakfast tables. Stayed for 5 days. Asked for cleaning to come in. They assured me they came in every other day. Nobody came in during 5 days, even after asking. Garbage overflowing everywhere. Construction dust all over the carpets. No one has cleaned or vacuumed in days and this isn't a cheap hotel.
Harvey
Hotel is still under renovations. Why did Expedia not advertise this? We booked a King room but didn’t get that. Person at front desk had to be called out of the back room. He was eating licorice while checking us on. He was very unprofessional and ill mannered.
Robert
This property is being renovated. which was very obvious when you walk through the front doors. Not mentioned at the time of booking through Expedia. Our room was second floor because 1,3rd&4th floors were under constuction. 1st floor sewer smell very obious. Breakfast was abreiveated to say the least. Breakfast with sewer smell not very appealing.
Paul
There's work going on in the property. The flooring on the main level is torn up and much of the carpeting needs to be replaced as it is in poor shape.
Andrea
Not the property’s fault for the less than stellar ratings. Property was under construction and this wasn’t disclosed when reservation was made.
Richard
Every floor and most rooms were under renovation. Construction noise long hours and odors pervasive.
Greg
Standard Hampton experience, always great. Check-in was easy and staff were courteous and helpful. Price was lower than expected, but this is because the property is currently under renovation. That didn't bother us but be aware that this location is out dated and under construction while still being open. Pool and pool area were large and clean and we enjoyed a quick swim. Breakfast met our expectations and the free bottles of water at the check in counter were appreciated.
Justin
Do not stay
DO NOT Stay.
Awful hotel. Paid $145 for the night, but isn’t worth more than $50 for the night.
Lobby is under construction, wallpaper peeling in the room, dirty hands prints all over the lamp shade, dirty bathtub and broken tiles in the bathroom.
Absolutely disgusting.

My only complaint is that the hotel is in the middle of a renovation and we were not aware when we booked it, Half the parking lot was filled with workshops for the contractors and furniture and plumbing fixtures that had been removed. Foyer and breakfast room were under construction.
Rachel
If you don’t mind other’s bodily fluids…
When we entered the room, I immediately felt like we had just rented at a 1 ⭐️ motel, highly over paying. This room was no different than an Economy Inn. Second floor smelled like raw sewage. Shortly after, I notice a large soiled spot on a bench in our room. I immediately went down to notify the clerk. The young man said he was notifihouse keeping right away. My son went into the swimming area, we were there about 20 minutes. After, we returned to our room. -There was still a bench, I assumed they had switched them out.
Nope! I went into the bathroom, my son changing had just put dry underwear on, sat down on the bench to put pajamas on, SITTING IN THE SOILED SPOT.
I called the front desk explaining my son is freaked out. He thinks he has sit in someone else’s bodily fluids! I ask if there was something he could do? Clerk said he reached out to housekeeping but there wasn’t anything. I told him I would remove it myself, where did he want it? The clerk agreed to come meet me in the hall to get foul, soiled bench.
At this point, my son was in panic. He wanted out of this room and away from this hotel. He wanted to was his body, to remove someone else’s “stuff” from his body. WE LEFT!
I returned after I got my son adjusted elsewhere. A different clerk was working. She explained to me, “the previous owner let this place go to sh!t, but they are working to remodel everything as quick as possible!”
The first clerk disclosed he had complaints of the 3rd floor smelling too.

Mold in air conditioning unit. Mold in the bathroom. Wall paper peeling off. Dirty hallway. Indifferent staff
Joseph A
Clean quite and comfortable!
Very clean quite comfortable. I’ve had similar experiences every time that I book a stay in no matter what city or state. Breakfast is a treat to enjoy.
Leonardf
Enjoyed our one night stay here. They also had a good breakfast.
Russell
The staff were nice. However, the breakfast bar had ants all over things that I watched an employee look over and do nothing about. The shower leaked profusely. The shower head was clogged and wouldn’t spray well. The vent fan for the bathroom didn’t work which meant all the moisture from taking a shower just spills out into the room.
Leah
Clean and nice facility
Kellie
Staff was great but property was in need of a few upgrades. Some of the furniture was dated, tub and sink had slow drains and refrigerator was leaking on the floor. Was a great location and easy to get to.
JANE
The TV didn’t work.
Chloe
staff is very nice, room was clean, and pool and hotub really nice
Jose
Good,clean and well located
Very friendly staff, quick check-in, pool very clean with plenty towels and tables. Hotel is near several restaurants and shopping it also conveniently located just of I64. We would stay here again
Ruth
Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Walked to steak house nearby for dinner. Room card didn't work first try and night desk staff a bit sullen. Overall good hotel.
Catherine
Very convenient - close to highway but quiet. Very comfortable beds and friendly, helpful check in staff. Clean but hallways starting to show their age. Would stay there again.
Joe
This is a very nice place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay again.
Rick
Close, clean, and convenient
Suzie
Stayed here several times and have a great experience each time. Only complaint was the shower was not hot.

Breakfast was not good.

Helpful staff and clean room with good bed
MARY
I like the location. I was able to take a 3 mile walk. If anyone is a runner there is a nice road outside with very wide shoulders newly paved.
My bed was an old hard mattress and I was very uncomfortable the entire night. The pillows were also small and uncomfortable. The A/C is also an old unit near the window with the curtains blocking the flow.
The bathroom is also very outdated. The bathtub is old with peeling. It needs replacing.
The good part is the dining/breakfast area. The breakfast was good and the woman working there was very helpful and friendly and spoke English. The people at the desk were helpful.
the exercise room is outdated and needs upgrading as well. There are no weights. The pool look large and very nice although I didn’t use it. The person at the front desk told me the bottles of water were free which I liked.

Property was clean inside and out. It was nice having restaurants in wkong distance.
Michael
Just a little below average compared with other Hamptons I have stayed in. Needs some work on the rooms. I think a little over priced.

Great Stay
The service was very polite the room was clean. The only thing was the shower pressure was weak and it took a while for the hot way to kick in.

All business
Check in was very .unfriendly.. she did not want to chat. All business. I chose to pay more because Hampton's Inn usually rise above the rest but was not impressed this time. I did like the horse paintings. Other than that nothing notable about this stay.

The Hampton Inn in Georgetown has a great location with lots of dining choices, shopping and right off of 1-75. They have a great pool and hot tub and a great breakfast

Nice stay
Overall a nice place to stay. Quiet even though our room was by the elevator which was a surprising. Decent little morning breakfast. Warm pool and hot tub were relaxing.

Gentleman at the front desk was excellent. changed our room when we told him the sink did not drain. Great list of dining options was very helpful. Will highly reccomend to people to stay there if they are going to the Ark Encounter.
