Beds were comfortable, had to switch rooms due to air not working properly. Shannon was absolute blessing to wait on us. It seems like she goes above and beyond for her guests.
Jason
Clean hotel, friendly staff. What you’d expect. I’d stay again

Excellent 👌
James
Building is non smoking, but I room sure smelled of smoke! Bathroom was musty, dirty, and out dated. We would have stayed somewhere else if everything wasn't booked. The front desk people were very friendly.
Paige
I don't think the room was ever cleaned. The carpet was dirty and sticky. There was crumbs in the corners. There was something sticky on the table below the TV. The shower had stains in like it hadn't been scrubbed in a long time. The toilet rocked when you sat on it. I honestly couldn't tell if the sheets were clean or not. The shower curtain was ripped. There was also stuff on the wall. I mentioned it to the staff, she said she would talk to the cleaning staff but when I returned nothing looked different which was disappointing. I didn't bother with the free breakfast based on previous reviews. I wouldn't stay here again. The price was a little ridiculous for a dirty room.
Donna
The room was neat, clean and comfortable for the discounted price. I missed not having in-room coffee service, but the fact the TV wouldn’t play (battery in the remote??) was a real pain, and a maintenance issue. Plus, there was no one at the desk to ask about it — manager was outside smoking. 😕

Room was very clean. No sofa chair to set on only desk chair or set on bed. Staff was great.
Scott
It was fine for the price.
Debora
The only ok was the beds
RICHARD
Because one of the best hotels to stay in Georgetown, but the rates fluctuate a lot. One day will be $79 a night the next day will be $179 a night. It is close and convenient to everything but not worth more than the $80 a night you spend for on average
Crystal
Breakfast was a joke (few choices). No tissues in the room. Water ran cloudy/dirty in bathroom sink at first, but then clear after a bit. Water in shower was REALLY HARD to turn off after my shower (room 222 or 224- can't remember).
Lots of nearby food/stores. Convenient to highway 75. Safe/well lit parking. Staff was very nice - especially on check in. Thanks.

The room was in decent condition. The bathroom sink drained very slowly, and the bathroom door was hard to shut. There were cords hanging out of the side tables where the phone and alarm clock were. I was unaware that the alarm clock was set and turned on. I found out at 1 am and 1:30 am. I couldn't turn it off so i had to unplug it. The walls are pretty thin, you can hear others through the wall which is a little unsettling and makes it hard to sleep.

Perfect place!

The room was small, but clean. Breakfast was nothing special! The tub looked like it had not been deeply cleaned in a long time. The front desk was under renovation. The front desk staff was friendly.
Melissa
Shower soap dispenser was broken off. Bed uncomfortable. I’ve stayed here many times but no one has ever asked me if I enjoyed my stay.

Jessie
Clean and comfy, we were just passing through town and didn’t need all of the extras.
Joy
I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Despite pre-payment and advance notification of my service animal, I got to the property and was denied check-in. The desk clerk did not ask to see my service animal certification, just sent me out at 11:30pm after a 6 hour drive. My service animal is 15 pounds and well behaved. It felt like racial discrimination.
Robert L
Room was ok a little dated. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was limited.
PETER
More protien option like hard boiled eggs. Everything else is pretty standard.
Joseph
For the cost, it was a good stay. The heat did not smell great when I first turned it on, but after running for a couple of hours, the smell dissipated. It was just a one-night stay, passing through, so it was a good bargain and served my needs.
Ruben
Great for the price. Please add eggs
Richard
Really nice stay. Rooms are nice for the price. Not very noisy and cozy.
Deborah
The staff was wonderful, the breakfast could’ve been better. There were very few selections.
The room was clean, the location was convenient.

Stay was wonderful and quiet
Chad
The lady that was cleaning and stocking the breakfast area. Blew into the waffle maker as she spit into it. That is very gross, as she blew her germs all over the waffle maker. After that we just threw are food away. Everything is dirty and it smells. I would not recommend this place. Very dirty
Paul
Not an expensive room, but you're not writing home
Staff is very friendly. While the room and common areas were overall clean, the rooms are needing updates and repairs. My toilet had a piece of stacked soap carton to shim the toilet from rocking back and forth. There were 2 switches in the room that did nothing, and no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so each shower made the room very humid.
Robin
Great staff and location for my needs, Very comfortable bed.
Michael
Room not very clean, no drawers for clothes
Beth M
I stay here several times a year. The staff is awesome. This stay was forced by a migraine as i was traveling by and could not go any further. They were able to give me an early check-in & were so helpful. Good property.
tracy
great location and staff, facilities adequate.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful but the property needs better upkeep. We stayed there last year and it is markedly less clean and maintained this year. It is a great location and again the front desk and breakfast staff were great.
John
Room smelled bad of cigarette smoke, from customers smoking outside near room windows with ac being used.

COLIN
Fine enough for me, but never again.

Clean, friendly staff, great parking, great food options nearby, convenient to interstate, room seemed newly renovated, and lots of electrical outlets. Our main \"negatives\" were that the rooms are tiny (but efficiently laid out) and no coffee or ice (supposedly, renovations on 1st floor has their ice machine down - ok, newly painted vending areas on other floors also had no vending or ice).

I went in knowing this wasn't a fancy place and my expectations were exceeded. For the money, it was a good clean, comfortable, safe place to stay that is near everything. I'd stay there again.
Jake
Good parking
Melissa
Only 3 pillows in room. Very noisy “explosions” in the middle of the night that sounded like gunfire.
nick
nice location around everything we wanted to do. hotel staff nice

Stay away
Roaches in the bathroom. Smells like cat piss on the first floor. Ended up leaving early after I seen the roaches. You can only shine a turd up so much.
Ralph
Great place well kept. Not flashy but great place to stay.
Vickie
Clean . Lots of pillows . If 3 adults we need 3 towels and 3 bath cloths. Thanks.

We had a late check in but the receptionist was very friendly. Hotel room was clean no complaints as we’re just passing through and needed something cheap. They’ve got parts blocked off for construction but obviously it didn’t affect us. Nice place!
Jami
Simple but very nice

Clean and relatively updated rooms. Pillows were terrible and internet service was basically nonexistent. Television system is older and channels don’t match the labels. Room walls are ineffective at blocking out noise from neighboring rooms.
Elizabeth
check in staff very nice and helpful. Women that was setting up/taking down breakfast had an attitude. Cleared out everything 10 minutes early.
John
Convenient
Sandy
We really enjoyed our stay and we will look for this hotel in the future.

This is our second year to stay at the Microtel in Georgetown for BreyerFest. Our room was very comfortable, with cool air conditioning, clean towels every day and super comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s a free breakfast down in the lobby each morning, simple things like cereal, oatmeal, fruit, danishes yogurt, and waffles, but plenty filling also juice, milk and coffee are available as soon as I can get logged back into my account. I’ll be making my reservations for next year. It’s close to the Kentucky horse park, and there’s tons of things to eat in a Walmart within just a mile or so of the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

I booked this hotel on a whim and was a little nervous because I had never been to any of their hotels. But it was a good stay overall, things were clean and service was good which is really all that matters. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the air was off when we got to our room, we did turn it on but it took half the night to get comfortable in there. However, the bed was super comfy!

Property conditions on the outside of the building were pretty good and had many options around for food and gas. The front staff were helpful and checked us in quickly. 2nd floor hallway did have a smell to it, something similar to a damp smell. The room itself was cozy for 2 queens, a big plus was that the bed sheets were hypoallergenic. The only thing I would mention is that there is no microwave in the room (There is one on the 1st floor where breakfast is served), and the fridge is not too big with no freezer. Breakfast is basic, such as a waffle maker, cereal, fruit yogurt. (No eggs or sausage) There seemed to be no do not disturb sign for our door for housekeeping to know, and we noticed sometimes housekeeping would be outside our door, conversing. Also the only laundry is on the first floor and only has 2 machines available for washing and 2 machines for drying. Overall, the stay was fine; it was very budget-friendly.

Nice stay
Just what I needed. Clean, comfortable and easy check in/check out.
Steven
It was clean and safe. The area was very clean and quit.

Everything was top drawer, tho' the room was smallish, which we knew in advance.
The problem - a pitiful breakfast! Got there 30 mins before its closing and found one tiny, wrapped blueberry muffin which was like eating paste. No other sweet rolls. The Belgian waffle maker made one side crispy and the other doughy, so it was all doughy. Coffee was just so-so, yogurt tasted like sweet slime. Only the banana was okay. A for the room, D- for the food.

\"creepy\" is the first thing my daughter said when we walked it. The outside is okay but the inside is definitely creepy and claustrophobic. I did not even attempt to try their breakfast. I'm okay with basic I'm okay with small..I'm okay with simple.. I'm not okay with the horrible check-in experience that me and my daughter had to go through. I get my room card and go to my room and when I go into the room there is no power.. I had to go out front to explain this so the lady who put the customers that were there on hold to come back with me and magically there was power. She said something about they're supposed to turn the power on before I arrive and I'd have no idea what that means.
I decide to go out and drive my car closer to the side entrance to bring my items in.. but as I have all my stuff in arms and my daughter I can't open the side entrance because there's no power to the side entrance for the card to activate it.. I have to go all the way back around to the front to let them know that I cannot get in. She reactivates the card and says that phones and keys can deactivate it.. as if this was my problem..I simply had it in my pocket near nothing that could deactivate it. This was extremely inconvenient and hectic. I would consider the staff extremely unprofessional and the building outdated. When I left the guy at the counter just said put your key card in the bucket and you can go.. zero hospitality. Will never be back.

Ok for a quick stay
The front staff was on a personal call and NEVER spoke a word to me the whole time I was checking in. The rooms were clean but no coffee pot. The bed was comfortable and it worked fine for 1 night.
Rithea
Great stay!
So nice after a long day on the road! Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds= happy travelers!
Kara
My stay was wonderful
Amanda
Clean
Jason
Ok for an overnight stay.
Check in was easy. However, front desk was hard to understand, spoke very softly and was on her phone while checking in. Toilet in room, had to flush twice every time using it.
DRUANNA
Safe quiet area with a lot of food options.
Megan
Great
Sarah
The room was clean, staff was nice, and the cotinental breakfast was ok.
Karen
Easy to get to from I75, with gas station and dining options very close by. Breakfast available at 6am, great choice for travellers.
Jennifer
It was clean, however, it’d be nice to have more garbage bags in the room. A coffee maker and microwave would’ve also been nice to have in the room. Breakfast could’ve been better as well.
Kalynne
The hotel wasn't the worst but wasn't the best, light switch didn't work in our room, the breakfast was cereal, waffle maker with no batter, yogurt, an a loaf of bread. For the $125 I spent I've definitely stayed at nicer hotels for less.
Elizabeth
Would stay again
On our trip down to florida, it was a perfect overnight stop. No frills, 2 comfortable beds and clean room with a simple breakfast provided in the morning. Exactly what we wanted at a decent price.

Very nice motel very nice accommodations clean the staff is very nice they go above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable. I stayed there numerous times and I will continuously stay there when I am in town I give them a number 10 on the scale if I could

We had car trouble on our way to the hotel so never got to it. Had to wait over night in Knoxville to get parts for the car.
We had booked the Microtel in Georgetown the day before our planned arrival so booked with no cancellation. Not sure that the option was available.
We told Expedia that we could not use the Microtel because of our car problem and asked them to notify the Microtel. We do not know if they did.
This morning we received a form email from the hotel saying we were charged the full cost for the night.
The irony is that depending upon when the part arrives and how long the repairs take we may need a hotel in Georgetown tonight.

The shower’s water was not very hot, which was not pleasant. And we did not get the first floor room that we had requested online.
Tina

Good check-in. Great stay - bed, a/c, and bathroom. Very convenient to interstate. The Danish and Fruit Loops weren't too bad either.
Memo to check out clerk: You are the face of the business. You deal with the customers. You are their first interaction of the day and the lasting image at departure. Your guests pay your salary. Act like it.
