Lovely hotel, with good facilities. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy them all. We would love to come back. Very nice staff who speak good English. We slept well and safely there.
clean and nice room with a good bed, nice little coffee bar in the room, nice bathroom with everything you need.

Inconsistent service on check in/out. Upsetting.

I had a nice experience checking in and a very bad one checking out. Check in man confirmed all was correctly reserved and pre-paid. Check out girl said I needed to pay again. Despite repeatedly explaining she insisted that I had not. She went on saying that she needed the credit card that was swiped during check-in (wasn't) and got the dates wrong. My wife was shaken and upset. We were delayed leaving and unable to do our next objective. Otherwise fine.

I recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Düsseldorf - Neuss, and while the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, the overall experience was disappointing—especially as a Gold IHG Member.

Unlike other IHG properties I’ve stayed at, there were no membership benefits at all—no upgrades, no welcome perks, nothing that made me feel valued as a loyal guest. On top of that, parking was €24 per night, and breakfast was €19 per person, which felt overpriced compared to similar hotels.

What really stood out was the lack of any special service. We were celebrating our anniversary and had informed the hotel in advance, but there was no acknowledgment—no small gesture, not even a simple note. It was disappointing, especially considering how other Crowne Plaza hotels usually handle such occasions.

Another thing that seemed odd was the water situation. There was just one small bottle in the fridge, and a note saying that if there were two guests, we had to go to reception, collect a voucher, and then go to the bar to get another bottle. It honestly felt ridiculous—why not just put a bigger bottle in the room? Is water really that expensive here?

To be fair, I got the impression that the staff would have done more if they had the authority, but the hotel’s policies seem to restrict what they can offer. Overall, while the basics were fine, the experience lacked the hospitality and recognition I expect from Crowne Plaza, and I wouldn’t rush to stay here again.

The area being quiet was a big plus and being on the Rhein river gave the room a fantastic view.

Es ist ein sehr komfortables Hotel. Es befindet sich im Keller ein großzügiger Pool und 2 Saunen mit Fitnessbereich. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und vor ein paar Jahren renoviert worden. In der Nähe befindet sich das Einkaufszentrum \"Rheinpark Center\". Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle \"Neuss Reinparkcenter Süd\" und die S-Bahnstation \"Neuss Rheiparkcenter\" sind ca. 8-10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Teilweise ist es im Hotel im Bereich der Bar sehr belebt und laut, insbesondere wenn Kongresse oder Meetings im eigenen Kongresscenter abgehalten werden.
Es sind tendenziell mehr Geschäftsreisende als Individualreisende im Hotel.

The worst customer service ever!
Firstly, the receptionist checked me into a totally different room to the one I booked and paid for. I had to come back downstairs after a long flight to complain - subsequently my room was changed to the right room with no apologies at all! Then the room had no water. After complaining, room service brought two bottles of sparking water up. At about 2am, I was thirsty then tried to drink some water only to find out I was given sparking water and not still. I went to the receptionist who kept talking over me and telling me the hotel doesn’t have free still water and I had to pay for water. Eventually, he gave me a bottle - his reason was because I came downstairs . What a sham of a hotel!! Never again!!! Burger and chips cost 40 euros including a tray charge - the burger was disgusting and the chips cold ! Stay away from this hotel for your sanity!!!

Then there is no A\C the was lots of bugs when I entered the room as it was dirty too. That’s why I asked them to come and check and to clean.

-My negative experience is one bottle of water is free but next 0.75L is 10€.
- pool and spa is closed due to covid issue
-personnel is so friendly and helpfull. Although it is not in the menu, They preapared a tost for our 4 years old daughter
- superior room is quite large
-we have arrived hotel one night before, main restaurant is closed because of inedaquate number of visitors. That is what personnel say
- you can eat at the bar but menu is very poor with afew choice
- rooms are cleaned once in two days due to covid 19 situation

This hotel is old, but everything is still good. This location is not in the center of Düsseldorf so the price is better and the room space is bigger than majority hotels. Because I rent a car, it is super convenient to go to other places. The garage is not free but it’s very secured. I love the bathroom. Overall, this hotel is good.

Room was beautiful, very comfortable and matched the pictures on the website. However, many amenities within the hotel were very pricey! The car park was €19 per day and you couldn’t take the car in and out without paying separate fees. Breakfast was steep at €22 per person, per day, therefore we did not dine here. The pool was great, spacious and clean, unfortunately extra fees had to be paid for use of the sauna and steam room, this was not clear on the website :( overall lovely room, disappointing about extra costs throughout our stay!

I usually use the Swiss hotel due to the comfort of the pillows and bed as they always offer the best nights sleep, so my only complaint is trying to get out of bed in the morning . always a lovely experience , the pool facility was also good however they had to close the pool from the 13th for one week, so I was only able to use the pool for one night, probably would have been a good idea that I was informed about this before I booked the hotel, but to be honest, the staff, the room, the singer and of course the bed completely made up for that, good work Swiss hotel, always a nice time when I stay

Visited Dusseldorf in July 2017 to visit relatives and stayed at this hotel as it seemed reasonable in price and accessible to public transport. The room was okay. There was a leak coming from the bathroom basin, which was dealt with quite quickly. The room was basic with two single beds. There was no tea and coffee facilities in the room, nor a fridge. The view was the rooftop and you could see the river Rhine. The hotel had a swimming pool and sauna. The Rheinpark shopping centre was within 5 minutes walking distance. This centre has some popular shops and eateries. The train station was within 10 minutes walking distance and takes you to popular destinations. Public transport is good and frequent.

The room was a bit dated and the Wi-Fi was unstable at times. Overall, a pleasant stay and would stay there again.
