the staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfect for getting to little Tokyo, the arts district, China town and Olivera street. The subway is blocks away to get to anywhere in LA---NO CAR REQUIRED !!!!

Lobby bathroom was supposed to be provided to hotel guest only. Instead, there was a busy long line of opened to the public. When i asked the staff to intervene, they decided to do nothing but shrug it off. There was even a sign that stated \"for use to horn guests only\".

Valet overnight was $50. Overpriced for the lack of quality and service.

The hotel staff was accommodating, courteous, and helpful. They made me feel like a valued customer and I would be happy to stay here again!

The room and hotel were clean. The location was PERFECT for exploring Little Tokyo.

I valet parked my vehicle overnight and had no problems with that.

Suggested improvements: there was a constant air noise coming from the furnace. It made me uncomfortable because even with the AC/heater turned off, it was still making the noise. The smoke detectors only say \"smoke\" and not \"carbon monoxide\" and I would have felt more comfortable if a carbon monoxide detector was visibly present, especially in light of the noise from the furnace. They offered me another room, but that furnace made the same noise. I ended up sleeping with the window cracked open, which led to me being woken up by street racers at 1:30am.

The property felt like it was in need of a little better maintenance. My room’s sink was plugged up and one of the coffee mugs has broken handle was still had a paper cap on it as if it was expected that I use it anyways! Otherwise, it was pleasant stay.

Woke up around 11:30 pm to a big bang outside (windows were closed). Fireworks were going off late in the evening! It lasted past 12 am. We weren’t able to get a good sleep! Also, the flexible shower hose was broken. So, when showering water was coming out from the shower head and flexible hose.

A little dated but I absolutely enjoyed my stay here! Room was super clean and had a Japanese bidet… workout room was nice, and all the staff from front desk, housekeeping, valet, were very gracious and knowledgeable. I loved that it was right in Little Tokyo for easy and delicious dining.

Went to an event at the convention center, and it was a 15 minute Lyft.

Will stay here again!

I will book here again.

José and Francis at the front counter were delightful. The room was clean. I appreciate that they have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion. They even had wipes for removing makeup. The hotel is not big and was not busy. Which was a plus for me. Parking was $50. I had read about the cost before going so I was prepared to pay for parking. I was valet parking so that was nice. Most hotels in the area charge for parking for parking.

Was underwhelmed at this property. The lobby seemed nice, staff was not friendly at all when we checked in. Elevator and carpet to the room was extremely dirty and not upkept. Room appeared clean but had worse view in hotel probably and overall the room seemed like it needed new carpet or drapes or something. Just not a nice room for the price.

This hotel has a small cafe on the street level with a variety of bread and beverages. It was convenient to use for my breakfast & lunch. Once you step out of the hotel, you can find many sushi, ramen noodle, and okonomiyaki pancake restaurants just a minute away. It was fun to explore them for lunch and dinner.

The room was very clean and quiet.

This hotel has an unreasonable smoking policy even if you don’t smoke on the premises. Was charged a smoker fee because after there was no proof of smoking. Said they couldn’t “sell the room” because of the smell of unburnt cannabis sticks. For all of the hassle I might as well had smoked in the room. Unreasonable policy. Will dispute with my bank. We all know the room was sold right after in the same day. Don’t come here if you plan to leave an empty pack of cannabis on the desk when you leave. Robber hotel

Our first stay will not be our last! Perfect hotel for a weekend in Little Tokyo with no car. Easy walk from metro station. So much to see nearby. Will recommend to anyone staying here. The Miyako hotel is in the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles with plenty of Japanese restaurants and shops. The hotel room was nice and clean. The bellman named Daniel was very friendly and knowledgable. Great hospitality service from Daniel. There was a security guard (forgot his name) on duty and he was also very friendly and helpful. Now the negative: While entering the hotel, the automatic door closed on my wife's foot causing a minor injury. Other than some pain and a cut on her foot, she would be ok. When I reported the incident to Hugo, at the front desk, he did not express any sense of urgency or empathy to see if my wife was ok or if she needed additional medical treatment. This was disappointing.

The room was attractive, large, very clean, and in all ways of superior quality to a typical business hotel. The staff were very helpful. Only drawback: It is hard to find a breakfast nearby. Most food spots open at 11:00 or 11:30am (except 2 bakeries).

First time staying at this hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful. This was with the valet, the security and the front desk as well as the cleaning members. Everything was positive for me. Literally my only \"complaint\" and keep in mind that this is me trying to find something to complain about, was that the sink seemed to be slightly clogged because it was filling up when I would wash my hands. Other than that, this was an extremely good experience and I would definitely stay at Miyako Hotel again!

Always a great experience when we stay here. Hotel is clean. Staff is always friendly, even though I’ve seen guests not be. Excellent distance to some great shops and restaurants. We stay here when we have events nearby and just use Uber to get around to areas not walking distance. Rooms are always clean. I love the products they offer here, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. The bidets are a plus! Will stay again.

Loved our stay! Obviously the closeness to Little Tokyo is a blast. Hotel staff was super helpful when we had questions or needed any adjustments for our room. Elevators and rooms are spacious. Pastry/matcha café in the lobby was great and the breakfast buffet had authentic japanese dishes (but skip the omelette!). This was our second stay and we will definitely stay again!

The little Tokyo is just nearby, many japanese food to eat. The room is super tidy and clean, there are many supplies, even they provide makeup remover wipe and toilet with auto washing. The staff are so nice and helpful! The laundry is good.

Have stayed here 2 times but still good service. Towels are nice and dont feel tough. Room been nice and clean the times we stayed. The water pressure in the bathrooms were also good. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distances as well.
