Hotel is close to the U and bus stop. The hotel was clean, pillows were not so comfortable. The towels were small and kind of old. No robe or slippers. The room was okay. Room service was good. The breakfast buffet was good. I liked the selection, especially the omelette. A suggestion: need at least 2 people at the omelette, egg station; the line gets too long and I really feel bad for the person cooking. I would return to the hotel if we go back to Munich.

Worst experience at this hotel we got it because it was our cheapest option for Oktoberfest, educated staff and the people staying in it as well, from the check in they treated us like we were not welcomethe staff yelling at me like I don’t understand, I get it’s a busy season for you you’re not in the best mood. Then he said our room was not ready which I understand but while giving keys left and right to other people mostly German I was not the only one who noticed this as someone I met on the elevator told me they noticed this as well, they had us open all of our luggage in front of everyone to try to get ready, people laughing at us until the manager came in and asked what was happening,I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world before and this is not one of them it all, the staff that helped me do the check in asked about the weight of my credit card which I considered inappropriate and weird, servers at the bar/restaurant wouldnt take our order unless we would go to the bar, the group next to us while we were eating making weird comments about us not knowing we all speak English and Spanish saying very disrespectful things, I can tell this is where new money people like to hang out, behaving trashy just like this place.
Once again I saw this same behavior with different international travelers so I’d avoid it if I don’t wish to be treated this poorly

Room was ok just the design layout was left to be desired. Frosted glass on the bathroom door ment that everyone was up if someone was using the bathroom. There was absolutely no storage for in the room side tables were just a flat space, cabinet had no shelves and bathroom had one small drawer with the middle out for plumbing. So short stay is fine but we were there for 6 days and lived out of our suitcases . A/C worked fine , staff were great at breakfast always with a smile and remembering your coffee preference. Breakfast was the same each day but has a large variety of options

The Olympic park being so nearby was great, but the other direction was not spectacular and the staff was not friendly, especially at check in, I was actually really surprised. They also just shut off keys before check out time even hits.

Overall a good hotel. We enjoyed the price with included hotel parking. There was an underground train stop nearby. The room very was nice. The hotel decorations were a bit strange and the layout and hallways to get to the parking was a bit odd. Most of the staff seemed like they did not really want to be there. While they assisted us, they seemed uninterested or distracted.

I enjoyed the hotel. The staff was fantastic, friendly and willing to help. It was very nice, and the location was excellent. The biggest disappointment was the fitness center. The hotel had Olympic decor. The handrail in the elevator was fantastic, it was a barbell. This led me to believe the hotel would embrace fitness. All you had were two treadmills, an elliptical, and a few dumbbells. Not even a multi-station all-in-one machine. Very disappointing.

Amazing breakfast!

I usually stay a little closer to the center of Munich, around the altstadt; but having stayed here having not been able to get three rooms at any of my usual choices, I will definitely be using this hotel again. It's a short walk from the Olympic Park, has direct tube links to Hauptbahnhof and Marienplatz.

The rooms were lovely. Large, clean, and well equipped. The bar was a nice place to hang out at the end of the evening; but the absolute winner was the breakfast. It was sublime. A beautiful selection of anything and everything that you could hope for in a breakfast.

Perfect location for attending a concert at the stadium and BMW welt. Our room’s air conditioning was broken, however, and the maintenance staff could not fix it. It made sleeping very uncomfortable during a mid-summer stay.

My second year staying at this property. This time around was much worse- bathroom was not very clean. Requested a sewing kit from the front desk and had to call multiple times and eventually come downstairs myself to retrieve it after being told they were on the way to my room. Wasted the whole morning on a 10 minute activity. Overall would not stay here again, there’s just better options.

Little to no parking. Theybket everyone park in their garage so hotel guests are stuck finding parking. Hotel employees are not friendly and tend to be more interestwd in hosting large local parties instead of customer service with hotel guests.

The hotel was nice, clean, and convenient. Our only criticisms were the pillows were not comfortable, and there were no wash cloths in the shower. We did not have breakfast included in our price. We did go down one morning to get a quick bite, but were surprised at the cost as it was a buffet, so we didn't go. But they were kind and gave us a cup of coffee.

We visited Munich for a holiday but also to see the 2 Metallica shows. The hotel was ideally situated as the underground was literally around the corner (we got to Marienplatz in 10 minutes, which was great as there were no restaurants in the immediate vicinity) and the gig venue was only 1 stop away. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. The only thing that let it down slightly for us was the very limited menu in the restaurant and the waiting staff weren't the cheeriest - especially at breakfast time. However, I would definitely stay here again.

All the hotel parking was taken by concert goers (the hotel is a 20 minute walk to a stadium), which is where I had to pay to park. The staff said there’s nothing they can do about the parking. I would suggest removing “free onsite parking at hotel” from the website. It should be for hotel guests only.
The drinks were good. The food was terrible. The staff was kind enough. The room was adequate. But really, the parking issue was the main reason for this poor review.

Friendly staff, quiet room, comfortable room, there is a playground for the kids nearby, big park, U-bahn 5 minutes from the hotel. But the door to the bathroom was from the glass and very heavy, we couldn't even close it properly. The room was very clean and I've found some hairs in the bathroom and on the bed.

Not my first visit to this hotel. I stayed at this hotel for a month 9 years ago for a business trip.

Rooms are starting to show their age and could use an update. One of the bath towels were had black spots all over it and was dirty.

Breakfast is great.

If you drive there beware of clipping your wheel when driving to the entrance of the hotel. Its pretty tight when cars are parked at the corner.

It's convenient to subway and near OlympiaPark and BMW museum
The restaurant staff is very slow, food is isreali style, nothing to take home about
The only elevator is in the middle of the building and if your room is at the very end of the U shaped corridor, you have quite a lot of steps to drag your luggage thru. We thought that was very strange and not sure about the local fire code

Checked into a room that smelled and reeked mmm of really bad body odor. The hotel staff was unprofessional and treated me as if I was lying to them. They only changed rooms after the housekeeping personnel verified the smell but were unwilling to change. Hotel did not acknowledge VIP status and actually did not care until on after you mention VIP status. No room upgrade mention whatsoever and no free parking until you fight for it. This was one of the worst hotel stays ever through Expedia. I travel quite frequently and have since been staying at major chain hotels. Looking to just use major chain hotels membership sites instead as this experience was so horrid. The location is quite horrible as well with no convenience stores or any stores for that matter nearby. Closest food availability is a ten minute walk through busy streets. Traveled with small child and regretted the stay. Very expensive stay due to Octoberfest event. Would rather pay more to stay at another property. Expedia, please never recommend this hotel to VIP members. You may potentially lose them as customers.

I just don't feel that this hotel was worth the price. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the people were friendly. The breakfast was way overpriced. The bacon tasted and looked like canned bacon. The scrambled eggs were totally cold and tasted like powdered eggs. The chef was preparing omelets and fried eggs but never got around to refilling the scrambled eggs. The bread and fruit choices were ok but I've seen better. I bought it the first morning but the second morning went with no food until I got to the train station. I've just as comfortable and had a better breakfast for less money.

It is a beautiful, higher class property. Lounge and bar area at lobby area were especially beautiful and welcoming. We always reserve hotels that are mid priced so not a lot of frills. This was very reasonable and in our mid range price so we were shocked when we arrived at how fancy it was. And of course, delighted. Due to a problem with their computer, they originally assigned us the wrong type room. But they graciously fixed that and found the room we were supposed to have.

An excellent choice of hotel

Stopped here because of its proximity to the Olympic park and a concert we were going to there; and it was an excellent choice. We went on to spend 2 weeks touring Austria, Switzerland and Italy; and this was easily the best hotel we stayed in.
Pretty sure the band we went to see stopped here too :-)
The room was modern, quiet and comfortable.
Breakfast was superb with a great choice of hot and cold items. Probably the best we had during our 2 weeks away.
All the staff were really good too.
There's an s-bahn station just a couple of minutes walk down the road with trains every 10 minutes which will take you to Marienplatz in 20 minutes without having to change.
When I visit Munich again I won't hesitate to stay here again because it's so easy to get into the city centre.

This property is an excellent option for those attending concerts at Olympiastadion (walking distance). The hotel is very clean and staff were all very accommodating. The breakfast was really nice and something to suit everyone. The bar served food until midnight which was very reasonable and it was just €5.50 a pint. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. There is a large shopping centre within walking distance with lots of shops. it costs roughly €60 in an Uber from the airport to this hotel.
