Great place if you want to be far from the city for a quiet retreat. Wish they had body lotion, weighing scale, and robe in their rooms. Breakfast is excellent with many options. Restaurant had more American food vs. German. Close to the train station and mall. Safe area.

That was the most trashy 4star hotel I’ve ever seen. We had to change the room 3 times because every one stank like smoke and like old socks. The carpet was stained. The bed sheets had hair and holes. You could also smell the food from the restaurant downstairs. After this overall failure we just asked for a refund and left…

Nice place for a quick stop-over in Frankfurt

Stayed here for second time and I find it a very practical option specially if you are on short trip as this was my last stop of trip and was just an over-night stay to catch early morning fight. The location is nice as very quite with a shopping mall on walking distance and quick food.

One of the best hotels I've visited in Germany, clean, nice penthouse room with a huge terrace on top of the hotel. Parking included, very large bathrooms, small kitchen, fridge, very clean property, we loved it.

Huge thank you to the staff for the amazing room they reserved for us!!!! We don't have any other hotel in mind when we come to Frankfurt again except the Amadeus.

Good hotel - poor wifi fatal flaw

The hotel was clean and conveniently located close to the U4 line, not too mention grocery stores. The main issue i had was with the WiFi, or lack of it. I was able to connect to the WiFi, but, the speed was ridiculously slow and not usable. I contacted the front desk a few times and was finally told it was an issue because the hotel was very busy.

very impressed with both the hotel and staff. a special mention to Jessica on reception when i had a problem trying to access the internet. she took the trouble to input all the details needed for the boarding passes at the airport and printed them for me. the only thing which we didn't experience was the breakfast as we had to leave early for the airport. and the only complaint was the heating was far too high in the room.we will definately stay here again.

I was told that this hotel was 14 minutes from the Main Frankfurt Airport. It was 30 minutes away. Because it cost me $150 in taxi fare to get to and from the hotel from the airport, I was very upset. Also, the taxi on the morning of October 12th started the meter before I ever got in the taxi and I had to pay an extra 7 euro that I do not think was just. Overall the experience was very unpleasant for me and I will not stay overnight in Frankfurt again. The hotel was nice, the distance from the airport was the problem.

Awesome hotel. Quite far from old town (1hour or so on foot) but very close to a suitable tram stop, so easy access to old town, train station and airport. The studio was lovely - spacious, comfy and with a lovely terrace and great views of Seckbach.

Nice hotel and a good value. Very convenient to the train. Pros: Comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast (breakfast not included in room price but very nice). Cons: not the best shower ever...you can have hot water or you can have decent water pressure, but not both at the same time. Also, walls are pretty thin, so you can hear elevator and other outside noise. Might be an issue if you are a light sleeper. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and will likely return.

The hotel is located very convenient location. There are train station nearby (2-3 min) walk. Also has superstore nearby (across the street) from the hotel. The staff are really kind, friendly and helpful. Feel like professionally run business. They also have AiR CONDITIONER in the room, but no fridge in the room, though. Free parking. The morning breakfast are really good. Highly recommended !

In the hottest temperatures ever recorded in Europe, a continent not known for air conditioning, the Hotel Amadeus was our oasis! Pleasant staff, very convenient to shopping and the absolutely best breakfast buffet! Easy to hop on the train to downtown. An amazing value!

We stayed for one night with a car and baby. We booked a room that was large enough to accommodate the baby crib, and also had a small kitchenette area that was good for dealing with baby things. Room service options were limited, but the pizzas that we did order were good and arrived very quickly. We would stay here again.

Unfortunately, hotel policy regarding room access is most certainly not client friendly - 15 euros to access a room that is already prepared at 13h00 rather than 15h00 is ridiculous. the hotel was very nice! as far as the bed it slanted with our heads facing down. you couldnt connect to the WIFI. the chicken dinner tasted and smelled like a farm. room service for cleaning the room after checkout showed up at 0830 and we were still asleep. then they showed up 30 mins later. for being a 4 star hotel i was not impressed at all...

Hotel was beautiful! We sprung for the more expensive room which was definitely worth it. The view was beautiful. Our room was great, and the amenities were perfect. Only problem in the room was the shower. The water temperature was completely random. It would go from ice cold to scalding hot and back again.

I just needed a place to crash for the night near a concert venue I was attending.inwas in a single room and it was quite spacious. The rooms could probably use some updated decorating but it was fine. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was free, parking was free. It was a good price and worth the money.

Couldn't be happier!

Have to admit I was hesitant about booking this hotel for a couple of reasons. The price was far less than other hotels I checked out which made we wonder if it wasn't a little old and worn, plus it was further from the Messe than I would have liked. After a weeks stay however I could not be more pleased. The staff both at the front desk and in the restaurant we're all fabulous. The entire hotel was clean and well maintained, beds were super comfy. Only draw back was my room was directly over the patio where the smokers hung out. When I explained this was an issue due to my allergies they immediately moved me to a room on the other side of the hotel. Not only was their response immediate but bonus I got a fabulous view of downtown on top of it. We'll definitely be staying here again next year. Also access to the \"U\" is wonderful, and there's a nice mall just down the block with some great shopping and restaurants.

Very poor reception staff on second night.

The stay was okay. The check in reception was okay. But had bad experience with the reception on second night. My booking was with in room free wifi, but I did not do a screen caputure and the booking voucher did not shows. There was quite an arguement and the reception wanted to charge. We insisted not to pay.

Good Hotel for a good price

Good and affordable Hotel, very clean. The location is good if you do business in the north of Frankfurt as it can be traffic going to Frankfurt City Centre. It has a simple and affordable (12 Euro) breakfast buffet and the food in the restaurants is usually very good. There is a big shopping centre (Hessen Center) very close as are several grocery stores in case you want to buy your own food. Parking is free and Internet was only 5 Euro per day so its thats a big plus, too. The staff is also very accomodating and friendly.

I don't normally write reviews, but I think I need to share this. I stayed there for a night with my family. I booked a double room with a queen sized bed through Hotels.com. When we arrived, the receptionist saw me with my wife and two children as we checked in, yet she gave us a twin room. Then when we get another room, it's two single beds jammed together, not a queen sized bed. When I showed her my booking details, she refused to give us another room. The room itself had only one full sized towel. What hotel gives a single towel for a double room? Then when we asked to borrow a kettle to make milk for my 10 month old son, they asked for a €30 deposit. Like, really? Don't go here if you can help it.

Nice modern place with some deficiencies

We booked this place for the night before flying out of Frankfurt Airport. It's about 18 km away and at peak hours it can take almost 45 minutes to cover that distance. The hotel is quite modern and well kept. The room was nice and had a large bathroom. The only beef we had was the mattress and the flat joke of a pillow that would slide out of its pillow case all night long. No matter how often we turned it it went flat immediately. We woke up with a sore neck. There is a mini bar in the room but NO COFFEE MAKER or water boiler. Internet costs 5 euros per night. Parking is free, breakfast was not free and we didn't take it. Overall a nice hotel for German standards but lacks some amenities that Americans are used to in a 4 star hotel.

Excellent hotel in industrial neighbourhood, so not much for restos or bars but walking trails are nice in nearby forest if you don't get lost! Towels were limited to total of 2 for a couple and of poor quality for a 4 star hotel. More came quickly when I phoned the helpful and friendly front desk staff.

Hotel stay with a caveat

The hotel is nestled in the middle of an urban neighborhood with plenty of places to shop and very close to the metro station. If you are looking for an ideal location to relax and enjoy a quality weekend with easy access to other parts of Frankfurt then this is the place for you. The only downside about this hotel is the lack of sound barriers for the outside noise. Unfortunately my stay was plagued with the outside activities blaring into my room. I stayed on the second floor facing the main street. This was a bad choice. With the bar downstairs and the smoking area right under my window I was able to clearly hear other guest conversations as well as smell their cigarette smoke. With no air-conditioning in the room I was not afforded the opportunity to close my window on such a warm and pleasant night. The smoke and the loud noise kept me up longer than I wanted to be.
If you so choose to stay at this Hotel, my advice is to request a room facing the opposite side of the main street so that you can enjoy all the niceties that the Hotel has to offer.

Nice place in Frankfurt

The front desk staff spoke excellent English and the service was very good. The room was comfortable with a nice bathroom. Convenient to a shopping mall and 150 meters from the local train station. It's not particularly close to downtown, but only took about 15 minutes to get there by train. I would recommend.

Everything is good except the room is too warm for us, hotel has auto heater turned on centrally and we felt we didn't need it. Also on the last day of our stay a housekeeping staff went around knocking doors at about 8:00am and she opened our door and closed it with a bang, no apologies, when she found me still sleeping, which is not acceptable by the hotel standard when I told the staff when checking out.
They provide nice breakfast at a reasonable rate.

There is no concierge !! No one helps there and they lied about the luggage trolley .. they told me it is in one of the rooms and they dont know which one!
The receptionist wasnt helpful at all !! I wanted her to help me with something i didnt understand since it was in german she told me that shes busy doesnt have time for me and that i should go back to the shop and ask them !
At the same time they are trustworthy, we forgot all our money in the safe and we where half way to munich i called them and they kept the money in the reception untouched
The rooms were clean but the bed was AWFUL!! Gave us really bad back pain
Also, they were very quick when i called and asked them to get me something

Location was not that near from the airport, about a 30 min drive. There was no complimentary bottle of water in the room although we were offered a glass of water at check-in. Television was small and not very clear but the beds was ok. Buffet breakfast was ok for that price, although it would be very welcome if it was included in the room price.

Wrong information and very noisy

We expected shower/tub combination in the bathroom but it was proven that it's wrong (or cheated) information. I also expected large LCD TV as shown on the room pictures, but it was also wrong expectation. I found very small one(less than 19 inch). Some childrens was running all the way in the hall, so It was quite noisy(they were even shouting). Firstly I asked their parents to care their childrens, then I got answered \"it's normal in Germany\". Seriously? Is It normal that children can run in the hall especially in 4 stars hotel? So, I asked the reception then I got also ridiculous answer. The receptionist said \"Normally they are supposed to be quiet after 10 PM, so...\". Seriously? Is it a culture of German? It was almost nightmare for 3 day stays. I traveled almost two months around europe. This hotel was worst one.

The Amadeus is a good midsize hotel. We use it because it is about 600 yards from the business we are visiting. It is across the tracks from a largish shospping center (Hessen-Center) and has good mass transit, although the U7 commuter train was on strike the day I arrived and I had to take a taxi from the Konstabler Wache transit station. Unexpected cost 20 euros.

Nice hotel but not for those with disability

Hotel is newish and clean but rooms are not as described. Description mentions sofa bed but rooms are too small so only an armchair is supplied. Also, to me, shower/tub combination is a bath with shower over but apparently there are no baths in this hotel. All bathrooms just have a small shower cubicle with a narrow door and a 12 inch step. We asked for an accessible room but to them that just meant near lift. None of their rooms has easy access to facilities for disabled - not even a grab rail for support getting in or out of shower.
