Quiet, clean, efficient chain hotel. Good Breakfast with Anglo-Saxon hot options; very friendly and helpful staff. Hard to fault. However, I got the impression the mattress had some kind of topper on it that made the bed very squidgy and hot. Free wifi turns out to be an email harvesting job (I just think that's a distinction that should be pointed out) ostensibly for their loyalty programme.

The elevator has been out of order for weeks and will be for long time : it is being replaced. YOUR site does NOT mention it, other sites do, and the hotel reception made it clear immediately .
We accepted a room on the 3rd floor but your site should have posted a warning !

Enjoyed my stay!

This was a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is well located close to the harbor and Deauville downtown and 5 minutes from the train station. Deauville and Trouville (the adjoining town) make a very interested destination, both with wonderful sandy beaches.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, allowing me to try my limited French and replying in French when it was clear I understood rather than cutting me off in English that some similar hotels can do.

My room was clean with a comfortable bed and the situation was what I had requested: quiet location with a nice view if possible. I liked the coffee/tea making and supplies including butter cookies that were replenished for my second night. The buffet breakfast had many choices and was excellent.

My only reservation (that prevents me giving a full 5/5 score) is that there was no comfortable chair in the room, just a desk chair and stool, plus there was no towel rail in the bathroom, just hooks that my towels easily fell to the floor from.

Great hotel in a very convenient position

We have stayed here many times and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. It is in a very convenient area, it is immaculately clean, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are not huge but are very comfortable. We will be staying again.

Well placed to see both Deauville and Trouville

This was an overnight stay in an area we have visited previously. We were lucky to find a free parking space outside the hotel as we hadn't booked one ahead. You would have had to pay to park on the street or car park otherwise. We walked across the bridge into Trouville for dinner and breakfast so can't comment on the hotel breakfast. The situation of the hotel is quiet but the walls are thin so you are aware of other guests opening and shutting doors. Fortunately there were no rowdy parties so we had a good night's sleep.

However, we were very pleased with the quality of the hotel and service of the staff. This was a great value and was $200 less per night than the other hotel we were considering.

Lost in Deauville

Had a great stay but struggled to find the hotel at first. A couple of flags outside rather than any banner on the hotel itself. Not a luxury hotel but very comfortable and close to the centre with peacefull gardens at the back so choose a rear facing room if you can.

there is nothing wrong with the hotel. It is clean and fine; it also lacks charm of any kind. I have stayed in many mercure hotels in France. The one in Deauville doesn't quite match up. Again, no problems, but nothing special. Do not eat the breakfast. At 16 euros, for pancakes and eggs as the extent of the hot food, it is nowhere near worth it. Maybe it's worth half that price. And I would have happily paid the 16 euro price had the breakfast been even somewhat special--I get that we were in Deauville and that it is an expensive town.

Mercure Yacht Club - Great Value!

I travel a lot but rarely bother to write reviews... However I was very, very pleased with this hotel. It felt like it was very recently refurbished and the design and style was very classy and clean. By no means a luxury hotel, but you get all you need and the staff is friendly and service minded. The location is perfect in the centre of Deauville.

Great Value - Great Location

Our first visit to the Mercure Hotel at Deauville exceeded our expectations. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and view of the port along with a welcome gift of a shoulder bag filled with goodies. The room was spacious, well furnished and equiped, including tea and coffee making facilities,replenished daily. Everything looked new or nearly new. The buffet breakfast is the most comprehensive imaginable and included bacon, egg and sausage, for those that crave an 'English' breakfast. Although situated on the corner of a busy road - Quai de la Marine - with the sliding balcony door closed, it was quiet enough. The rooms have air conditioning provided by a large ceiling fan that also pumps out cold air if required. we chose this hotel because of its location. 5 mins to town centre, 5 mins to seafront and - you've guessed it - 5 mins across the bridge to Trouville where the shops and restaurants are more affordable. This must be our tenth visit to Deauville and this Mercure hotel is the most satisfiying to date. Are there any complaints ?
- Well, yes. The hotels private garage parking seems pretty steep at the current rate of exchange, but there is plenty of free parking in the road outside or the large car park almost opposite. Would we go back again ? - Definately.

The Mecure Deauville Yacht Club Hotel

Nice hotel in the centre of Deauville and beside the Marina. Plenty of on street parking and lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
Excellent boardwalk with swimming pools, tennis and well maintained beaches nearby.
Trouville is just a 5 minute walk across the river where there are a mulitude of restaurants and plenty of seaside activities for children all closeby.

We expected much more from this hotel. The \"yacht club\" billing is only relevant in that it is across the street from some water and some sailboats. The room was clean but dingy. Very overrated for the price. Unless you are going specifically to Deauville , you might look for something closer to the main sights of Honfleur, Normandy Beaches.

Good location - walking distance to shopping, restaurants, etc. Safe neighborhood right near the water. A little disappointed that with so few guests, we were not give a room with a water view... - why not if the rooms aren't in use?

Bathroom could have been cleaner and the cleaning crew left the sliding door to our room's balcony open. Not exactly safety first but in reality, little chance of anyone breaking in that way.,

OK stay - would consider again.

Excellent location with modern and stylish rooms

The loction of the hotel is near to the harbour and the restaurants, bars and shops of the fabulous town. We were not familiar with the area and were undecided as whether to stay in Deauville or Trouville. By luck rather than judgement we chose this lovely hotel in Deauville and were not disappointed as Deauville is a far superior place than Trouville. It is very up market and the beautiful architecture is stunning. There is lots to see and many very nice restaurants. The hotel has smallish rooms but is very new and stylishly decorated with a comfortable bed, nice little balcony and clean and modern bathroom. Rates are reasonable and the staff are english spoken and friendly and attentive. The only downside was that the room was not ready at the appointed check in time.

Nous sommes revenus dans cet hôtel où nous avions nos habitudes,
Quelle erreur.
Plus de 200€ la nuit pour une chambre non climatisée, sale, à la moquette tachée et où le plafonnier/ventilateur est recouvert d’une épaisse couche de poussière mêlée à quelques araignées.
Les murs sont sales, la douche est bouchée, la télé est tordue bref rien ne va.
Passons à la literie, j’en ai pour au moins 3 mois de kine pour faire disparaître le mal de dos qu’elle m’a procuré, le matelas doit avoir au moins 10 ans, les ressorts sont à deux doigts de transpercer le matelas.
Bien évidemment aucun geste de la direction qui promet que ses chambres seront rénovées en hiver (quel culot de dire cela) ni changement de chambre, ni geste commercial, ni même un petit déjeuner offert.
Clou du spectacle, un appel a 12h05 pour nous presser de libérer la chambre.
Allez a l’ibis style vous économiserez des sous pour un hôtel bien meilleur ou encore au Novotel pour le même prix vous aurez du luxe.
En tout cas fuyez cet endroit.

J'ai passé un séjour dans cet hôtel du 24 au 28 mai avec ma femme et notre petite fille de 2an1/2.
Un accueil par Béatrice et un Monsieur très chaleureux, et à l'écoute.
Lors de la réservation j'avais souhaité une machine à café et un lit bébé.Cela a été validé.
Le personnel est fortement au soin du client, j'ai demandé à plusieurs fois des serviettes et accessoires. C'est pour cette raison que je voyage toujours dans des hotels mercure,novotel ou sofitel. L'hôtel est idéalement placé entre Deauville et Trouville.
Le seul défaut est le parking,avec un gros Suv,impossible de se garer.Mais dans la rue de nombreuses places.
