I have recently returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel. As expected the hotel was basic but it is in a great location for exploring the area. The rooms can be quite noisy depending on where the room is situated and there were stains on the bed sheets and towels.

When I arrived at the hotel I was told I could not check in until 2pm dispite the hotel.com website stating it was 12pm. That was the first piece of misadvertising. The second piece was stating that all rooms had air conditioning, mine didn't. Finally a continental breakfast is advertised on hotels.com but it was far from that. I wasn't expecting a banquet but a bit more than muffins and biscuits! I feel i have been mis sold this property!

Clean hotel, relatively close to the centre. My only complaint is that they don't have an iron.

A nice budget hotel with very friendly staff that are helpful except on last day when reception unmanned and i had to use google translator from english to spanish to order an early taxi for airport...this hotel is also close to the river so fairly convenient to attractions on other side of river

Great city to spend your hard earned free time

This is a simple Pension style accommodation with car parking and a 24 hr reception. We stayed here as it gave good public transport and walking access to lots of the main attractions of the city at a very reasonable price.
On the two occasions we spoke to the reception the matters were dealt with immediately,efficiently and in a friendly manner.
The staff were always friendly and helpful
There are some friendly neighbour hood bars and eateries , situated around the square at the entrance to the funicular railway . The city has great well priced bus, tram and metro transport services .
The food and wine in the city is fantastic and pretty good value .

Nice hotel

Nice hotel; Location is OK, but it becomes difficult to find it for the first time; you need to climb a hill or stair to reach/leave the hotel. One good feature of the hotel: not far, (5 mins walk) there is cable car ($2), you can take a ride to reach the top of the mountain to see the overview of the city: excellent view.

Nice hotel for limited budget traveling.

Very close to Mountain Artxanda ! And around restaurant nice and cheap . If you have limited budget for traveling , I think this is a good choice .

Decent cheap hotel

Nice budget hotel with a friendly staff located in about 10 min walk from the Guggenheim Museum and the central part of the city. Everything is very basic, but clean. Late arrivals are possible. The only problem with my room was the traffic noise, which made it impossible to sleep with the open window (there is no air conditioning in the hotel). In general, it was quite a comfortable stay for a person on a limited budget.

Train line a problem until 11.30 pm so asked to be moved to other side of Hotel- get Rooms 201-206 if avail. There is no Breakfast but plenty of coffee; buy bread (pan) at the Panaderia at bottom of hill or store your own food in Fridge located in Hotel breakfast room or have breakfast out from 7 am- pan tostado y cafe € 2.70. Hotel access ok if you're fit; use the lift on the Bridge for good access to Centre.Hotel @ €40 ok for 1/2 nights particularly if you need garage parking.

Good value hotel

Had a perfectly good stay over 2 weekdays. Close to Cafes and Supermarkets. Also close enough to town and galleries. It's a little hard to find if you don't know where to look, it's up the hill, behind what is currently a building site.

Room was basic, no elevator to take luggage up, staff was just ok, no near transportation, continental breakfast was just a Coffey and very small muffin. Do no reccomend it.

Pension no muy recomendable

Buena unicacion. Resto de la experiencia no muy positiva. Habitacion interior, pequeña y con camas supletorias muy incomodas. El desayuno consistia en una cafe y una madalena.
Poca colaboracion por parte de la recepcion ante un inconveniente de la reserva.

Apart hotel, maar niet aan te raden

Eenvoudig hotel, met redelijke bedden. Uitzicht op soort autowegkruispunt, heel apart. Daardoor vanaf 04.00 uur tot 23.00 uur erg gehorig. Overdag Engels sprekend personeel, 's avonds niet. Wel erg vriendelijke mensen.
Onzinnig ontbijt, thee/koffie/cake. Wel erg handig dat er een algemene koelkast is. Geen info-map op kamer, vrgen of zelf uitzoeken is het motto. Ligging t.o.v. het centrum o.k.. Erg warm in kamer (moeilijk te koelen) en het was nog maar eind februari.

Es una pensión sencilla pero que ofrece lo que anuncia. Está muy céntrica pero no en un entorno ruidoso. Cuando vuelva a Bilbao estará dentro de mis búsquedas.

Fullt acceptabelt med tanke på pris. Billigt, hyfsat rent, och bra läge nära Guggenheim. Dock talade personalen uteslutande spanska. Det går alltid ändå, men hade underlättat med lite, lite engelska.

Pensión correcta y con buena habitación.

La pensión esta limpia y las habitaciones son sencillas pero limpias y con lo mínimo para sentirse bien. El desayuno se limita a un café con galletas o magdalenas pero por el precio no se puede pedir más. Parking caro pero con posibilidad de aparcar en las entornos por las noches. El aislamiento acústico se podría mejorar.

A mi me ha gustado.

Quiero comenzar diciendo que para mi una pensión, hostal, hotel es para dormir y no pido mucho más. Esta pensión está muy bien ubicada, cerca del Guggenheim. Tiene parking privado por 10€ y si encuentras aparcamiento por los alrededores pues mejor así que no llegue muy tarde o le será difícil aparcar.

Estuve en Bilbao una semana completa, la pensión es excelente y cuenta con muy buena comunicación con la ciudad. Solo tendría comentarios sobre el ruido de las tuberías, sobre todo en las noches. Pero es comprensible dada la edad del edificio. Por lo demás excelente, lo recomiendo mucho

parking payant dans l'hôtel est très pratique

Nous avons fait tout Bilbao à pied. C'est une ville très vivante, pour les plus courageux, il faut prendre ses baskets pour courir. Nous avons visité le musée Guggenheim.

Ristrutturato e pulito, reception 24h, wifi funzionante, posizione leggermente scomoda se non si vuole camminare in salita. Ma non penso sia un problema se non per una persona anziana o con problemi motori.

Buena ubicación

Muy buena ubicación, a pocas cuadras de la entrada al Funicular Artaxa y cerca de la ría a la altura prácticamente del Museo Guggeheim pero al otro lado del rio.
La habitación del hotel comida en cuanto a dimensiones pero el baño no tenía ningún perchero para colgar toallones solo un pequeño barral que se rompía , para la toalla de mano. Prácticamente no renovaban shampu y jabones.
El desayuno muy pobre y en un lugar si luz natural, estaba como en un ambiente hacia abajo, y no tenia ventanas , solo una cerrada que daba a una pared , el ventanal puesto en una pared.

Все хорошо. Надо заранее резервировать паркинг, нам не досталось, а рядом нет общественного. Бесплатные все заняты, ближайший платный нашли в 10-12 минутах ходьбы.

Dificil aparcar por los alrededores, cerca del Guggenheim, hostal básico pero correcto, gente amable y tiene una salita comedor con frigorifico donde poder hacer las comidas. Las habitaciones no son un lujo pero estan bien, relativamente limpias y relativamente comodas. Relacion calidad/precio lo pondria como bueno

Prima adres, vriendelijk en gastvrij!

We hebben een heel goed verblijf gehad voor 4 nachten. Elke dag netjes schoon, prettige omgang met het personeel en gastvrijheid genoten. De extra gratis ontbijtservice was een erg aangename verrassing!

Un hôtel bien et mal situé

Hôtel choisi en raison de sa proximité avec le musée Guggenheim Bilbao. Accès au musée en effet possible à pied, mais au prix du franchissement de plusieurs voies rapides. L'hôtel est au pied de l'avenida Maurice Ravel, qui est un viaduc à 20 mètres du sol : l'accès à l'hôtel en voiture est donc difficile, pour qui ne maîtrise pas le plan de circulation de Bilbao.

Nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à trouver l'hôtel sans GPS.
Sous les piliers de l'autoroute la situation n'est pas très agréable.
J'espérais un beau point de vue.

Pensión que ppromete mucho pero tuve mala suerte

No demasiado lejos del Guggenheim pero llegas tras subir un par de cuestas no aptas para gente con minusvalía o enfermedades musculares. El personal es excelente i las habitaciones y baños son muy amplios con con camas muy cómodas. No obstante, tuve la mala suerte de que me tocaron sabanas sucias y una habitación (de minusvalidos sin serlo) que está al lado de la recepción y casi a pie de calle. Imposible dormir por el ruido de la calle y de la gente que llegaba de noche o por la voz del recepcionista. No obstante, un amigo estuvo en el 2º piso y no tuvo problema alguno con el ruido.
