Location was very central to most bars and restaurants. You can have a leisure walk to the old town from the hotel as well. Hotel was clean. And room fairly spacious.

Do not stay here if you like sleep. Bar-Club operates until 5am thursday-Sunday. Maintenance staff are very loud and start work by 8am. Walls are very very thin.

Got a room on 9th floor and it was modern, airy, spacious, quiet, and clean. Above average for what I paid. Comfortable bed. Nice having a little fridge in the room as well.

Hotel location worked out perfectly for me. Close enough to walk to Guggenheim, museum, Old Town, but not so close to tourist sites that prices are high. Many cafes, grocery stores, and other useful services right in the neighbourhood. Not knowing Bilbao when I booked, this ended up being the perfect location for me to explore the town and avoid most of the tourist congestion. Would definitely choose to stay here again. Only caution is that it’s near the football stadium, so if there’s a match on it can get very busy (and noisy) in the area.

Hotel was located just at the edge of the main shopping and dining areas of central Bilbao. Everything seemed to be within walking distance and very convenient. Our suite was clean and large, had a separate bedroom with king bed and living area with pull-out sofa bed. It was perfect for our visit since we were dropping off our son to university and he needed to stay with us for a few days before checking into his dormitory. Breakfast was also included and consisted of pastries, breads, eggs, potatoes, ham, bacon, cheeses, fresh-cut fruit, cereals, yogurt coffees, teas and juices. We would definitely stay here again, or at another one of the Ilunion branded hotels.

Really nice hotel however heavily let down by the breakfast. Very limited variety of food and didn't tast nice with cheap quality ingredients. Coffee was not drinkable. Also the food at the breakfast was not replenished quickly.

Stayed here recently and it was just okay. The location is good and the room was clean and comfy, but there were a few annoying things.
The Wi-Fi was a hassle—you had to re-register every few hours, which got really frustrating. The parking lot was also hard to find and super tight. If you’re driving anything bigger than a compact car, good luck fitting into the tiny spaces.
Breakfast was a letdown too. Not much variety, and once food ran out, it didn’t get refilled. If you didn’t show up early, you were out of luck.
Overall, decent enough for a short stay—but definitely room for improvement.

Terrible policies

The hotel is operated by heartless people who prioritize profit over their guests' well-being. I experienced a medical emergency and requested a reservation change, not a cancellation, without penalty. I provided a letter from my doctor stating that I CAN'T travel due to health issues, but they still decided to charge the full amount. It's shocking how little empathy some have. I've stayed at this hotel before, and as a senior citizen in a serious situation, I expected more compassion. Instead, they didn't care. What a pity.

Wouldn’t stay here again. At one point, water poured in from the room above me. When looking for the source of the sound of “rain”, I slipped bc my room was flooded. When I informed staff, there was no explanation or apology, they just sent someone to my room to fix it. The room smelled like sewage/feces. Very unhappy with the service and accommodations. Don’t count on reliable WiFi here. There was no offer to refund or reimburse for this terrible stay.

I reserved this hotel almost a month in advance because they stated they have enough parking space for my car on the premises. When I checked in, I was told that the parking was full and they suggested that I park my car in public parking.... I had to park in the closest public parking, several blocks away, which cost me around 30 euros one night and was most painfully time-consuming. No serious hotel

Como en todas mis reseñas, evalúo tres aspectos clave: A. Ubicación, B. Servicio, C. Relación precio/calidad. En este caso, también hay un punto adicional que vale la pena destacar.

A. Ubicación: En Bilbao no hay Uber, así que lo ideal es comprar la tarjeta Barik en el aeropuerto y usar el transporte público. El hotel está a solo 200 metros de la parada del autobús desde el BIO y a 400 metros del estadio San Mamés y su estación intermodal. Además, hay supermercados, restaurantes y cafés por todas partes. Todo queda a una corta caminata, perfecta para bajar los pintxos.

B. Servicio: Llegamos antes del check-in y nos dieron la habitación de inmediato. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento. Nos ofrecieron el desayuno, pero con tantas opciones cerca, no lo tomamos.

C. Relación precio/calidad: Las habitaciones no están bien insonorizadas, así que el descanso puede verse afectado. Aun así, el gimnasio es excelente: amplio, bien equipado, con A/C, agua fría y toallas. Lo mejor que vimos en nuestra ruta.

Extra – Impacto social: Este hotel forma parte de una organización que emplea al menos un 40% de personas con discapacidad. Un detalle que merece aplauso y que nos motiva a volver, incluso con los problemas de ruido.

Mi opinión: Un hotel con propósito, buena ubicación y excelente atención. Volveremos.

Outdated bathroom with water damage on doors and very poor shower. Toilet also squeezed into a very narrow section where the toilet roll holder cut you if you not careful. Ac also failed to work. Value for money also poor. Breakfast is also a 1 star experience. I'll never stay here again.

Good hotel & location, toilets didnt have a fan or vent so that was annoying a bit. Room can get stuffy after showers & smell after #2 - its also next to a club so you hear music til 6am if you dont mind. Otherwise its near a lot of stuff.

Excellent location close to the Euskalduna Conference Center and restaurants/bars. Good, quiet spacious room, but the trash can in the bathroom was not in good working order. The breakfast had very good hot and cold items but there were no vegetables.

The location of the hotel was extremely poor, being right next to a disco that didn’t close until 4 AM. Many young people gathered below to drink, smoke, and chat, severely disrupting our sleep. We were unable to fall asleep as our room was on the side closest to the street. It was a terrible experience, and even the police couldn’t help!

Good location close to Guggenheim and metro/ tram. Room was spacious clean and comfortable. But no parking available when we got there so had to park 15 mins walk away. Need to advise of this before booking. As ev charging and parking one of main reasons for booking that hotel. Otherwise would have stayed in the old quarter.

The parking isn't user friendly. There's one narrow ramp for both entry and exit and especially on exit it's almost impossible to ceoss the gate witbout doing some maneuvering. We were luxky that there was never somebody going the other direction when we were on the ramp. Other than that it was a nice hotel

Old hotel that badly needs updating. Not in a bad area by any means which was convenient for activities, but the actual stay at the hotel was pretty poor. AC hardly works and the roof felt perpetually humid.

As much as possible, stay away from rooms fronting Calle Rodriguez Arias as youth gangs congregate there starting at 11pm and staying till 6am. They get so loud with all their shouting and loud talking that it will ruin your sleep. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.

Dated hotel. Staff do not smile. Staff allow people to sleep in the hotel foyer. Our room was not made up for 2 adults and 2 children and when I complained they did not adequately correct the issue. My son slept the night without a duvet. Air conditioning is not all year round. It is at a choice of the hotel and not the customer as to whether it works or not. Avoid this hotel.

Ok for one night. It was cheap so we weren’t expecting much. As other reviewers said it’s very noisy - we could hear the comings and goings of all the guests on our floor. Plus the nightclub thumping throughout the night (even from the 12th floor). We also found the room very hot and stuffy - it’s March and the hotel policy doesn’t allow the AC to be turned on until April and we couldn’t keep the window open because of the noise.
But the reception team were really helpful and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

This hotel was great! Our room was really nice, and an excellent value, and we liked the location. My only negative comment is we stayed there on a Saturday night. There's a club under the hotel (basement level). We were on the 13th floor and we still had trouble falling asleep because we could hear the bass from the club. This was not a problem at all on Sunday night, so most of the week it's probably fine.

Excellent location- 10 minute walk from the bus station and close to the centre. Excellent restaurants nearby.
The room and shower room were clean and comfortable.
If you are in a eoom facing away from the street, the lights from a high-rise opposite are very bright and the curtains in the room do not block the light so if you need darkness to sleep, request a room street side.
Really good breakfast.
Reception staff were very professional and helpful.
Really like the ethos of the hotel chain.
Would stay again.

We stayed here for four nights in general everything was good the rooms were clean the cleaners friendly and efficient, we didn’t like the fact that we didn’t have a walk in shower, we had to climb into the bath, which in your seventies does not feel safe. The hotel was clean, the food good, breakfast was a bit disorganised there didn’t seem to anyone in overall charge so replenishing was not that good. The food at night was a basic choice, but good quality, we walked everywhere in the city from the hotel, probably abut 16,500 steps a day approx
