The Ibis Bilbao Centro was a great hotel! It was very conveniently located near a really nice area with many good restaurants and shopping.

The receptionists snd staff were all really courteous and helpful and the rooms were very clean and spacious enough.

We would definitely stay there afain when we are in Bilbaonagain and recommend it to anyone wanting a nice place to stay.

The Ibis Bilbao Centro is in a great location and has all the basics. I appreciated the eco-friendly focus, including a refillable glass water bottle in the room and a filtered water dispenser for hot and cold water right by the elevator. Staff were friendly. We walked from the hotel to Plaza Nueva, Guggenheim, and to the metro. There are plenty of bars, cafés, restaurants, and bakeries close by.

Sin embargo quiero manifestar mi molestia, la primera habitación que me dieron encontré insectos/bichos en la cama y las sábanas, cuando iba a dormirme.
El staff fue amable e inmediatamente me cambiaron de habitación.
Pero me parece muy mal que en un hotel como el suyo se llegue a encontrar este tipo de inconvenientes.

Nice vibe, good price close to train station area. Breakfast was nice and started at 6, which helped with out early exit. Staff were helpful and lobby bar/snack bar was friendly. Weirdly the floors in the room crackled and popped as we walked. Foam mattress works ok and room was nice and quiet.

The hotel is situated perfectly between most things in the city. You can walk to dining options that are only 50 metres away to 100's of restaurants within a 15 minute walk. You are less than a 20 minute stroll to the Guggenheim and a 15 min stroll to the Old Town.
Parking was really easy and good value.
The staff were really helpful.
It's a budget hotel so the room fittings are basic but everything works and is clean. It would have been nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room but you had to walk to a hot/cold water fountain near the lift. That was the only downside of the place.

Beyond that , it’s bare bones- no room amenities like a box of tissues, a notepad, no fridge, no kettle, no extra coffee, no bathroom amenities like a shower cap/bar of soap, shower gel was running very low, no safe to store valuables. It’s literally a place to sleep.

My stay at this hotel was decent, but there were a few areas that could use improvement. The hotel itself feels quite dated; many of the facilities and electronic appliances are very old, and it shows. The breakfast was also disappointing—not much variety and not particularly tasty. However, I did appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, as our room was very quiet, which made for a good night’s rest.

The staff, on the other hand, was excellent—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their kindness, along with the hotel’s convenient central location, were definite highlights of my stay. Unfortunately, despite the great service and location, I don’t think I’d choose to stay here again.

Nice enough hotel, very clean and rooms at usual Ibis standard. Location not great though if you require to sleep occasionally as too many yobs and drunks doing their best to keep everyone awake at 3am. Not the fault of the hotel of course but still an adverse factor.

Personally the hotel was comfortable, clean helpful staff but if you want to sleep then DON’T stay here the hotel itself was quite but the constant noise of traffic , dogs barking, kids screaming, adults yelling and I mean all night this hotel would benefit from soundproof windows or supplying there customers with ear plugs we were on holiday and after 2 nights I feel like I need a holiday

Great location but worn down, poor finishes, lights kept flickering and room wasn’t cleaned properly. Black out blinds but no curtain or screens meant either the room was dark and cut off from outside, or fully bright from the light. No tea or coffee facilities, no plug sockets beside bed. All fine and manageable, and no major problems but just not what you expect from an Ibis and would make me think twice about booking Ibis again.

Good clean hotel in central location with friendly staff. Room size a bit small, but that's standard Ibis. A fridge to keep drinks cool would have been very welcome since Bilbao is a very warm place. Otherwise ok

The room was bigger than I expected. Compared to other ibis hotels I've been to. More than enough space to open my luggage. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Location was good. In walking distance to pretty much all the important attractions im Bilbao.
