No heat or ac. Had a ceiling fan and had to open the window which let in lots of mosquitos. Room was dated. Bed was old. Walls were thin. Ceiling fan was old and had a remote glued to the wall. The buttons on the remote did nothing so the overhead light was on all night unless I pulled the key card to cut all power to the room.

For 2 star hotel conditions are acceptable, but in Spain in august without AC is terrifying, no central cooling, thanks god that the window was openable. A lot of mosquitoes, be prepared.
Coffee on the breakfast is really far from italian or brazilian type.

The staff were some of the most friendly and kind staff I have ever had at a hotel. I went for the Europa final (was really busy) and they were extremely accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again.

On the bright side, the staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The location is good in my opinion with many options for dining and also supermarkets nearby. I felt the room lacked space as when I was lying in bed my feet were against the wall, and I'm no giant (6 feet tall, 183 cms). Also when I tried to plug a charger I noticed that there no free outlets. One outlet was for the TV and another outlet for the hotel phone.

My experience was horrible from the check in to the check out . Soon as I arrived at the hotel , it looked like a homeless shelter or hostel . The building is very old once you walk in you can’t help but see the dirty carpet and dirty reception . No one bothers to clean as it looks . The check in was rather quick and then things start to go downhill when they tell me the hotel has no lifts whatsoever and all rooms are on the first and second floor . I was told I had to take my own luggage ( a 30 kg luggage suitcase plus a 10 kg hand luggage . Nobody helped me. After a long flight , this is the last thing I want to do . I even mentioned the risk of someone falling in the stairs and injuring themselves whilst attempting to carry heavy luggage by themselves in a narrow staircase . As I’m making my way to the room I can’t help but see how dirty the hotel is . They have stains on the carpet and the walls are literally peeling in every way possible , the hotel lacks of air con and natural light . It felt so crowded and there little space in between rooms to the point you actually share balconies and there no sense of privacy .

The room allocated to me was dirty beyond belief . It was so small and the decoration makes it worst . I had to move the bed slightly to plug my charger and it is clear no one cleans behind what the eye can see .
I couldnt sleep all night because it was noise coming from everywhere and someone kept banging on the wall as I’m watching tv .

The place is a run down old hotel located on a hill. The staff not very friendly. There is NO ELEVATOR. You have to walk up the stairs of this building with a smelly old carpet. When you get to your room, mine was on the second floor, the room smelled as if 100 people had been smoking cigarettes prior to my arrival. When I tried to ventilate the room, the window opened just slightly. I will never recommend this place to anyone and certainly would never come back to it. Very bad experience.

Basic hotel in noisy location

Our room was comfortable but the noise outside was terrible. There was loud yelling & laughing well into the night then early in the morning garbage trucks and roller shutters woke us before we had recovered. Double glazing would have helped.
The stairs were pretty steep, so carrying a heavy suitcase to the second floor was difficult.
Bathroom was clean and beds comfortable.
Large notices on the wall about the availability of a pillow list and \"health and hygiene\" packs made us wonder what kind of people we would encounter in the hallways.

the hotel was quite difficult to find even with satnav, the area was very busy in the day time but not very nice at night. Rooms were cramped and a bit worn, bathroom walls very thin and noisy, breakfast was terrible and the underground parking difficult entry/exit except in very small car. Its a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for but this one could do with an upgrade or two.

Great service, but ...

The hotel was not easy to find on Garmin, taking 4 attempts as some of the roads indicated were one way only. The underground parking is very 'challenging' with a steep curved slope. If this was hard going in, it was really hard on exit with a heavily loaded car. I liked the 'photo' theme but thought the poorly lit rooms were a bit basic for the price. While the staff were wonderful, I won't be returning.

The staff was very nice and this hotel was very close to the station, making it convenient for leaving the city. However, the neighborhood was very dodgy, and it was very noisy all night. The rooms are small, and tolerably clean, though a bit musty smelling. No AC.

Cosy small hotel but noisy at night

My guy friend and I stayed in separate rooms. single room is cosy n small but is noisy at night, probably due to bars downstairs. while my friend has got a triple room along a quieter street. the old lady in night shift is helpful but knows little english and is rather slow at work. place looks modern and pretty, but has no lift. the self serve cafe is nice homely corner to relax in.

Arrived early, had to wait for hours, beware of the late checkin. Finally got the room, it was dirty, musky (damp!) and dark (lights didn't work). Tried to speak to the receptionist, who didn't speak english (only spanish). Wrote a note to the manager, but nobody contacted me back, nor the next day. The night was a nightmare. Very noisy neighborhood and very bad sound isolation, you can hear everything from the room next door, the corridor and the street. The madrass was made of brick stone and very squiky. My window had cracks that made it damp in the room when it rained outside. The next morning it all topped up with no hot water in the shower. Not a nice neighboorhood, not far from San Fransisco, beware! OK, this is a twostar hotell, but at least, a cleaned room and some decent service is expected, isn't it? I checked out after two days.

The place is nothing special, but good for your money. The carpets leading to the rooms is really bad...stained from green to black. It wasn't a big deal, but a bad first impression for sure. Also, no elevator...so hope you don't mind to carry your luggage up a few flights of narrow stairs. It wasn't a horrible place, but we will probably look elsewhere if we are ever back in Bilbao.

My stay was comfortable. It is centrally located. If you wish to save money you can take the airport bus to the city. From the city stop either you walk down or take a taxi to the hotel other wise it will almost cost you about Euro 25 for the airport transfe by taxi. The reception is also very help ful they give you all the informations in English. At this price the hotel is worth to stay.

The worst hotel i've ever stayed in

This hotel is outdated, across from a sex shop and in the worse part of the town. It is far from the metra and other transportation. If you want to shower in mildew infested showers for your entire trip then this is the place for you. Oh that is if they don't call you at 6 am and tell you that there will be no water for the day. WHAT A JOKE!

Hôtel bruyant mais accueil sympathique

Accueil agréable, personnel sympathique et disponible mais la chambre est très sommaire, équipée de manière minimale et surtout très bruyante. Nous entendions les ronflements des voisins ou la télévision allumée des chambres voisines la nuit. Pour une nuit, cela fut suffisant mais nous ne serions pas restés plus longtemps. L’hôtel se situe dans le quartier très populaire et assez mouvementé de Bilbao, beaucoup de communautés ethniques vivent et se rassemblent ici.
Ce n'est pas très loin du centre névralgique de Bilbao à pieds mais ce n'est pas le quartier le plus agréable ni le plus joli.

So great. It is new and clean and well and nicely outfield. You can do laundry but most importantly, the bus down town is in front of the house. A super market is vis a vis as well as a nice cafe.
This is definitely a recommendation.

Das Hotel liegt günstig mit guter Anbindung zum öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Das Guggenheim Museum und die Altstadt kann gut zu Fuß erreicht werden.
Das Hotel kann eine Renovierung vertragen und ablageflächen im Bad wären wünschenswert. Das Personal allerdings ist superfreundlich und immer hilfsbereit.

El personal es encantador, solo por eso ya repetiría. Esta bien ubicado ya que el casco viejo está a un km andando. Es algo viejo ya el hotel, las camas un poco incómodas y sin ascensor. Pero como solo fuimos a dormir ya que el resto del tiempo estuvimos pateando la ciudad, más que suficiente.

Fui a Bilbao a presentar mi libro y sufrí la desagradable experiencia de que me robaran el móvil en la calle. En el hotel no me permitieron entrar en la zona de recepción para utilizar su teléfono, de modo que fue un tanto complejo conseguir hablar con la operadora para bloquear el aparato, puesto que la recepcionista tenia que ir marcando en el fijo que estaba dentro las teclas que yo le iba diciendo desde fuera. Me pareció una norma de seguridad excesivamente estricta en una situación de urgencia y desesperación como la que yo tenía, pero finalmente lo conseguimos, aunque no me lo pusieron fácil. Creo que en ocasiones como esa debería poder hacerse una excepción. No tiene ascensor y la habitación estaba limpia, pero muy chiquita. El garaje imposible. Minúsculo y complicadísimo de maniobrar para encarar la rampa, casi en L y muy empinada. Nada recomendable para conductores poco experimentados o con claustrofobia. No repetiría la experiencia.

No me gustó nada del hotel, las fotos de la web muestran una cosa que realmente ya no existen debido al paso del tiempo y la falta de mantenimiento y limpieza. Las alfombras tienen manchas de muchos años y el baño se cae a trozos. Y sin olvidarme que el hotel son solo dos plantas y luego son viviendas, muy ruidoso, no se puede dormir bien. No lo recomendaría a nadie.

Voor een twee sterren hotel een kleine maar goede kamer. Wel bloedheet, verwarming kon niet lager. Ook zeer gehorig. Bedden prima. Sanitair klein, maar goede douche.
