1st stay great; 2nd stay…”eh”

2nd time staying here and was a little disappointed. First off, when I pulled back the drapes from above the bed, dust flew everywhere. Whenever anyone was using water (sink, toilet, shower) there was loud noise in the wall from the machine pumping water from below. I was offered another room, but since my stay was short, I chose to stay put.

Great location as it is minutes away from the Guggenheim. The first stop on the airport bus drops you off directly in front of the hotel. Many food / cafes on the street. Not far from metro if you want to go further.

Upon arrival, the concierge staff was extremely helpful at sharing information of what to do in the city. On another day, they helped me book a bus to my next destination as the website was in Spanish only.

My room was lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable and along with the coffee/tea there were biscuits (nice surprise).

I think my room must have been on the main piping as I heard all the water running from floors above/below me… It didn’t bother me but a little nosier than expected. That said, I would still stay here again.

This is nice hotel in a very good location near the Guggenheim. There are shops, cafes, and restaurants close by. The airport bus stops directly in front of the hotel. The staff at the front desk are charming and helpful. The maintenance staff are friendly and do a great job. Helpful extras here include a fridge, a kettle, a lounge with a tea and coffee station. There's even a filtered water bottle filling station. Beds are comfy and the shower is great.

Nice little hotel in a wonderful area in Bilbao. We were greeted with the friendliest staff on arrival who gave us fantastic dining tips (I didn’t catch her name but shout out to whoever was working on 2nd Aug in the afternoon). The room is spacious, very clean and had a big window overlooking the street which was great. The bed is a bit creaky, there’s some scuff marks on the walls and the plumbing makes noise when using the bathroom but it didn’t bother us so much. We’ve paid similar prices for hotels in other regions for a bit more but it seems Bilbao hotels are more expensive generally. The hotel is also walkable to many spots and close to the Moyua metro station which is convenient for heading to the beach. Would recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Bilbao.

The rooms are nice enough, though a little tired, they could do with a paint refresh and also the plumbing needs to be looked at as it made a loud noise when you use the water or flush the toilet. The location is excellent and lots of amenities and restaurants nearby. Great for a couple of days stay to explore Bilbao

Excellent well-located hotel.

I stayed here twice in a month, with different levels of rooms. The most basic room was fine. My 2nd room was one degree up in room type, and was a very pleasant surprise- a much larger, corner room with views onto 2 streets.
The only problem I had, with both rooms, is that the shower drains slowly, onto the floor. So I built a “dam” out of a hand towel, and that solved the problem.
This hotel is right at the first stop on the airport bus-very convenient.

very nice looking clean hotel in what looks like part of a larger building. reception area good and a lift to the 1st floor. think there was only ground level plus floor 1.?
staff were on the whole pleasant and helpful although we were warned that the overall attitude of this area of Spain was subdued. room was nice and cool so aircon not really required. one big downside was the showers and toilets in all the rooms made a big noise when used. like a massive motor type groaning every time someone flushed the toilet or had a shower. not good at 5/6 am when people were getting up. for this reason i would not stay again although location was perfect.

Just checked out of this property today. Didn’t have the most pleasant experience, but also wasn’t horrible. Checkin was easy and the area around it has lots to see and eat at. The room, was… okay. There were scuff marks on the wall, the sheets were clean but had black markings on them (that I’ll assume are just wear and tear stains, the room was exceptionally warm and the thermostat did not allow you to take it off of heat. In the bathroom, the shower only had half of a door. I understand that’s the “design”, but it allowed for water to splash everywhere outside of the shower. Additionally, the sink did not drain water, at all. Water pressure was good and was hot so that’s a plus. One downside is the walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbors very easily. My room was only $80 on a Wednesday night, so you get what you pay for, but I’ve seen this room go for $130 on the weekends easily and I don’t think at a price like that it’d be worth it. The only big upside is the proximity to the Guggenheim. WiFi worked well. If it says “courtyard view”, it’s not really much of a courtyard and is a bit misleading in my opinion. Hope this info helps on my experience for anyone looking to book a hotel in Bilbao. I’d give it a 6.5/10 score.

This hotel is less than five minutes away from the Guggenheim Musuem. There are heaps of tapas bars around too. The rooms are a good size mine had a king size bed. A big shout out to Gary on the front desk who went out of his way on two occasions to help me out. Great value for money.

Beware, no laundry or parking on site and hotel is in bad shape. It looks ok from the outside but upkeep is lacking.
Parking is a 5 minute walk. Shower did not drain, pipes make loud noises, sink faucet not secure, and fridge did not work. Hotel does not uphold any responsibility for false advertisement of services offered or condition of facilities. Front desk was nice and helpful to find parking and things in the area but have to authority to fix things that are broken or remedy any situation that arises. Would not recommend.

Very functional and clean. Staff was awesome in providing help. Our bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we’ve ever slept in! And despite being right over the bus stop, it was also one of the quietest rooms ever! I watched two buses pull up and then leave. Never heard them! Nor did we hear loud guests or street folks. Very conveniently located. If you don’t need mints on your pillows, I highly recommend this hotel!

The room was spacious and attractive, with a big bed and a desk and a modern bathroom. Also appreciated the safe and the small refreshments left for guests. Bed was comfortable too. Receptionists were all quite friendly and helpful. There have been posts about the way noise travels in the hotel and that is true... sounds of housekeeping can be heard through the hotel walls in the mornings. But it wasn't a big deal and I'd stay there again. I was very happy with the place.

This hotel is in a great location, very close to the Guggenheim and multiple transportation options, and a longish but manageable walk to the Old Town. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and included everything you'd expect in a standard hotel room, with the exception of hair conditioner to go with the shampoo. The bed was quite hard but otherwise everything was comfortable.

The location of this hotel is absolutely ideal to visit the Guggenheim museum. It is maybe 2 blocks away--the only hotel closer is fantastically expensive.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, which in my opinion exceeds its 2 star rating. Just to manage expectations...it is basically one floor of an apartment building. There is no breakfast on offer, because they don't have a kitchen. But there was a (very helpful) person on call at all time, and the rooms are clean and well appointed, with a nice big bathroom. I also really liked that there is a little lounge area, with a coffee machine and some comfortable places to sit.

VERY IMPORTANT...if you are planning to have a car with you, contact the hotel in advance to reserve parking. We were lucky and there was a space available (the hotel has an arrangement with a lot near the museum). But we would have been in deep trouble if a space hadn't been open. I will note that it is possible to pull up in front of the hotel, so long as you avoid the bus stop. So the parking situation is not absolutely ideal, but workable.

Walls are paper thin so you hear neighbours voices and the sounds of their water pumps every time a tap is turned on or a toilet flushed, not to mention voices from the street. Our room had a strange damp smell too.

There were few spots with hair and dust that could've used a better cleaning but overall, very satisfied for the price. The location is good except you have nowhere to park as you check-in. You end up parking at the bus stop in front and hope for the best. Then you drive to the parkade. The parking is expensive at 18 euros. The bed is comfortable as the room is clean, however. Close to the Guggenheim and a reasonable walk to the old town.

Impeccable service, extremely helpful and very accommodating. Hotel is very conveniently located. The only issue is to locate a parking that hotel provided for 16 euros a day. It will be much more convenient if they will have somebody from the stuff to assist with the actual parking. Also it will be good to explain that most of the rooms windows facing the court yard which is very common in Europe but not customary in USA. It can be a little bit claustrophobic. It’s better for people to know ahead when they are booking so they can pay extra to have a light.

I was worried that I wouldn't sleep well as my room faced the main street. However, at night the traffic noise died down and once I had my ear plugs in I slept like a baby. I had a basic single room which was large and had a comfortable bed (larger than a normal single). The zircon worked and was quiet. Everything was well maintained and clean. The shower was great. No breakfast option but they do provide free tea, coffee, cookies and fruit in the communal lounge area. I recommend taking the breakfast and Guggenheim ticket package one day. The staff were helpful in booking taxis.

The hotel is lovely - all on one floor (converted offices, maybe), the entrance is DIRECTLY next to the airport bus's first stop (ticket is 3 Euros, buy from kiosk next to bus at airport). Charming multi-lingual receptionists, clean, compact rooms, and a shower to die for. Two minutes' walk from The Guggenheim Museum, and surrounded by small bars and cafes.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in February and can't fault the place. Right on top of the first airport bus stop which takes about 20 mins and costs a mere 3 Euro's. Surrounded by lots of places to eat and drink and felt safe walking around at night. Ideal location for the G Museum which also has a tourist bus stop adjacent. Staff were great and all spoke good english.
