Hotel is in a very central location and surprisingly quiet given it’s very close to the busy Oxford street.

Unfortunately our stay wasn’t the best: a room was provided where heating wasn’t working. Despite immediately advising the staff that the heating in the room wasn’t working, they assured us that the heating system was just upgraded and that it was normal that the room felt cold at the beginning as the heating took a while to heat up the room (which was very big and nicely decorated). After two nights spent in the cold, the reception agreed to move us to another room (they even said that they knew that the original room given to us had issues with the heating - not sure why they lied to us when we first complained). Our second room was slightly warmer but the towel rail in the bathroom wasn’t working and taking a shower in a freezing cold bathroom wasn’t the best experience.
Given how much they charge for rooms, I wouldn’t stay there again.

Original room was pathetic. It was deemed to be renovated which it was not complete.
No wardrobe, no place to hang coats, no amenities such as robes or slippers. Promised an adjustment for the room but none forthcoming. Room was not as depicted on Radisson site or Expedia. Front desk finally 2 days into our stay, placed us in a room which mirrored the website pictures for the level of room booked.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The location very convenient to transit, shopping and tourist sites. The breakfast was really good. Pre-purchase though, it's expensive to purchase on-site.
We were not crazy about the translucent bathroom door. When the lights in the bathroom were turned on it lit up the entire hotel room and was right in your face when laying in bed. Not appreciated when your husband goes to the bathroom at 3am. Maybe a bathroom night light could fix this? The was a female staff member at the check-in desk that was not friendly and gave the impression you were bothering her while she worked.

The room was number 720. Faces right onto Oxford Street. You heard every noise, every police or emergency service vehicle, every vehicle horn or those ghetto blasters on wheels that are the brightly coloured tricycles everywhere. The room was pretty pokey. Bathroom was so small it was like an obstacle course getting in and out of the shower. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work at all, so it was like being in a steam room. No fridge for water or drinks. Breakfast was Little Chef style average. No bacon, no glasses for orange juice, metal tongs to pull your toast out of the sf serve toaster…etc etc…

The air conditioning unit was ineffective and noisy so I was unable to sleep. There were no bedside lights in the room. The room was too stuffy. The decor and furniture is dated and tatty. From 8am I could here drilling and banging which I assume was other rooms being renovated.

The hotel is quite well placed and is ok without being in any way exceptional. I was on my own and was actually given a single room (slightly to my surprise. Must have missed that when booking). It was billed as a “superior”. If so, not sure what the “inferior” would have been like. It was tiny and the bathroom was poorly designed (basin very small, tap too close making it hard to use and the spout way too low so you need a kid’s hands for it). Window lock was broken (was it a hurry to leave and forgot to mention to the front desk. It was room 222). Slept ok, breakfast was good, coffee machine makes ok but not great coffee. Will I stay again? Yes if the price is right. But will remember to book a double next time. Is still quite like it even if it is feeling a bit shabby at the edges.

Upon arrival of check-in we were advised the hotel was fully booked and we couldn't stay the night so we had to get transferred to another Radisson Hotel in Marble Arch, stay there for 1 night only and then come back to the bond street hotel as for the remainder of our stay - this wasn't ideal after lots of travelling. I understand these things happen but was highly frustrating neither hotels could've kept us in 1 place for the whole stay. They did comp us free breakfast as a sorry however still a lot of messing around was endured.

The hotel is going through a refurbishment and the airconditioning isn't working. You are told at the time of check-in, and can request a fan. We did have a fan, and it was no use at all, so it was boiling hot all afternoon and evening.

There was hair and a spot of blood on the sheet, so we had to get that changed.

The best thing about the stay was the lady on reception during check in - so was lovely and very friendly.

Booked an upgrade as was working some of the time. Really surprised the room had no desk given how spacious it was.

Room was cold as AC unable to heat adequately. The corridors were warmer.
Despite not getting a room overlooking Oxford Street there was a lot of noise on the Friday night. Obviously this is countered by the hotel’s excellent location but should be a consideration.
Frustrating the lifts had issues all weekend with staff having to help you use them.

Our one-night stay was highly disappointing. The AC was not working, making the room uncomfortable. The bathroom tub was leaking with no proper drainage, and one of us couldn’t take a shower before an important meeting. On top of that, wet towels were left on the floor by housekeeping — very unprofessional and unhygienic. When we reported these issues, the staff was unfriendly and offered no assistance. For the price and expectations, this was an unacceptable experience.

This hotel is under renovation. The new rooms are beautiful, however only 2 of the 8 floors are complete. My collegue arrived early and discovered the central air in the old rooms is off and only a portable air conditioner available. He had to pay to upgrade us to the new rooms (floor 7 and 8). The hotel emailed me several times before my arrival and never once indicated they were under renovation. The noise from the rennovation is minimal so dont be deterred, Just try and get a rennovated room.

Disappointing experience.

We had booked a stay a number of weeks before to be told on our arrival no room was available and the hotel was fully booked. Due to a computer error our booking hadn’t been registered apparently. We were transferred to the Marble Arch Radisson, this had no working lifts, we were promised a room on a lower floor but were given the top floor. Overall a disappointing experience with Radisson.

NO AIRCON

informed on arrival that there was no aircon in the hotel. They apologised that this was not mentioned on the website and at booking. This should be made clear aster are lots of other options in London. Also told that there were no fans available as the maintenance person had taken the key to the cupboard. Uncomfortably hot room. Great location! Service was NOT great. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. They don’t greet you. Simple requests like “can you look up my name” or “can I get some extra water” are met with indifference and cold attitude. Housekeeping slams doors all morning long, and barges in without announcing. Their room move process was terribly frictional. AND they don’t post it anywhere but there was no AC in our room because the hotel is under construction. Overall the stay was not restful, and it seemed like the team onsite could not care less about being helpful or treating their guests like human beings.

A disappointing stay

I arrived to check in at the hotel to discover that the air conditioning was broken, to which I was asked 'is this okay?'. I didn't have much choice at that point as I was checking in later in the evening. It was stated that 'you can open the windows', well that's all well and good, but you are then exposed to the street noise, which due to the admittedly excellent location of this hotel, was significant. So it was a choice of being comfortable or quiet. Not ideal and I think shameful of the hotel not to contact guests at the earliest opportunity, prior to check-in, to inform them of this and offer a refund should that not be suitable. Very poor customer service in this regard.

Pros:
-Excellent location
-Comfortable Bed
-Breakfast is very good
-Very clean hotel and room

Cons:
-Customer service was sub-optimal
-The room had significant wear/tear
-Poor value for money

This experience would certainly stop me staying at this location again, and likely the entire radisson brand. When you're paying that sort of money, you have a lot of choice.

A lousy welcome and no A/C

Firstly the receptionist sighed when it was my turn to check in as if to say “great, another bloody customer”
Then told there was no A/C in my room. I had specifically selected this hotel as I wear a CPAC machine and need A/C on stuffy warm nights. She then said she had a room with a portable A/C unit I could have. It was very noisy and as it has a vent pipe out the window I heard all the street noise so slept terribly.

The hotel advertises that it has airconditioning in the guest rooms but on the night we stayed all rooms were without it due to renovations. Aparently the hotel has temporary airconditioning in many rooms on some days. No one told us ahead of time or at checkin. We selected this hotel because it advertised airconditioning as we know some hotels in London do not. We discussed it with the manager and were offered no compensation. Beware the bait and switch!

The main attraction is the location rather than the hotel itself. It is a small hotel but comfortable enough. The only downside was the air conditioning was not working. A problem other reviews have stated. The staff were friendly and helpful and the in-house dining options were excellent though we only tried room service on a couple of occasions.

As you get to the hotel the area smells like urine. The hotel was so hot people were leaving because it was SO uncomfortable. The A/C was out because of renovations. The carpet was old and very stained. Room was SO incredible hot. Couldn't rebook somewhere else because hotel prices were last minute and super expensive. The fire alarms kept going off. Just a very bad experience. I requested a fan the moment i checked in and I had to request it again and still didn't get it until the following day late afternoon. Horrible.

We did not stay even one night in this hotel. It was unseasonably warm in London. The air conditioning was apparently broken, though we were not warned about this ahead of time or when we checked in. The hotel had the windows open, which probably would have been okay, except that there seemed to be a dance club right below us. We closed the windows, shut the curtains, and turned on the AC, but it was blowing hot air. We called downstairs and the front desk informed us that the AC was broken. The hotel was very apologetic, and allowed us to check out without charge.
Assuming the AC normally works, this was probably not something that normally happens, but I feel like the real issue was not being informed ahead of time.

Have stayed at this hotel numerous time because of the location. It’s looking very tired, rooms are in desperate need of renovation. We stayed during a mini heatwave in May and the air conditioning in the rooms had to be turned off as some were being replaced with new units. There was no communication or apology. It was difficult to sleep. Someone was smoking on our floor, it was noisy as not all rooms have double glazing. Will be looking elsewhere for next stay in London.

I like the location, very easy access to public transportation. The rooms are outdated,carpets need replacing. The room was very warm, 24.5 degrees centigrade. i put the aircon on but this was set to winter so only put more heat into the room. I was told by staff to open the window, i did this and the noise outside was so loud I had to shut this again. i was offered a fan but this would only blow the warm air around the room. no apology from staff about the problem, they just said thats how it is.

I was looking forward to the stay as I normally stay at cheaper hotels. The hotel was above expectations on entry and the receptionist who was on when I came in to drop my bag off was brilliant. I didn't catch her name though. Although I was there around 11am, I was given access to my room early as it was ready to go. I only wanted to drop my bag off as I was heading to a country music festival. When I got back from the festival, I managed to get to my room and it was in fine condition. I wasnt too comfortable with the bed as it was a little saggy in the middle. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed that the shower had yellow stains along the ceiling and the shower itself leaked. Despite these small issues, the room was more than functional. I chose to have a breakfast on the Sunday morning, but the restaurant was busy when I went so I opted to go back to the festival and get some food there. I did manage to get some breakfast on the Monday morning when I checked out - the food was delicious, especially the bacon, and the staff were very helpful and attentive.

Location: right next to Bond Street underground; bang on Bond Street; Oxford Circus underground is about 6mins walk.
Rooms: premium room was fairly spacious. Though I was travelling alone, it was good enough for 2 people. There did seem to an issue with the air conditioning. Despite it being set at a low temp. for cooling, the room was constantly hot (like a sauna).
Bathroom: same as above
Breakfast: typical English breakfast. Special mention to Yilditz. She was very helpful & courteous.
Check-In/Check-Out: no issues here.
Overall - if you have some shoppping to do, this is the best place to stay. Not to far from the business areas (take the Jubilee line).
