Nice and helpful staff, but the hotel and rooms are very much under standard. Small and dirty.
Hallways are narrow and smell. Carpets everywhere need changing or deep cleaning.

This hotel was overall a disappointment as we would rather leave and pay for another hotel then to stay and even to get an upgrade.
We just wanted to leave.

We only had 2 nights here as a short break in London to see family and visit a show. The hotel is excellently positioned, very close to Bond Street underground which links directly to/from Heathrow airport without any change. There are any amount of good local eateries and small shops as well as all the attractions of Oxford St. and Regent St. nearby. Its an easy commute to the show and we always felt safe. Staff were corteous and helpful and we will definitely be back.

After a brief phone call pre arrival I was granted an early check In from the front desk manager, Then on arrival I was told we had been upgraded to a suite, at this point all was going great however looking at the pictures from my booking my original room looked far more modern than the “tired suite” that was given, after a delayed train journey we just went with it and then headed into the city to the theatre,
When I woke up the next Morning the hotel had took a random payment for hundreds of pounds out of my bank (unauthorised and still unexplained) so I went to speak to the receptionist. His response was outrageous , he told me the manager would be in Monday and “it was not his problem” I remained calm but explained he cannot say this to which he replied “I didn’t say that” (very strange) he was clearly agitated and I later found out his shift had ran over and he was tired and irritable, the baggage Concierge “Kenny” (an absolute gem and credit to the hotel) told me “he’s a good lad Mr kirk however he shouldn’t still be here, maybe hear him out and let him apologise”, however at this point another receptionist “Micheala” had started work, I proceeded to explain the situation and she apologised profusely and began to look into the problem, during this time my original “contact” attempted to speak to me and offer apologies, I explained that he had offended me immensely rude staff 50th treat spoiled
Keep you 20% refund it’s an insult

This hotel was great and prime location. The restaurant located within was excellent and the staff was super nice. Shout out to Michaela (italien lady at reception) - she’s was extremely friendly and great to converse with. Excellent service from the entire staff. This is my new go-to hotel when coming to London for business.

We arrived at 15:00 but their check-in systems was down. We were asked to wait for 5 mins, which turned into 20mins which then turned into a very frustrating 1hr 30 mins. Our friends were given a room card only to find another guest already in the room when they entered. We had booked an early dinner with other friends at Carbone which we were very late for,so we had no time to change and it ruined what was going to be a very relaxing evening. What made it all worse, was the staff at the hotel just didn't know what to do, as there seemed to be no back up their online system when it went down. Guest were left waiting in reception when even though rooms had been allocated they didn't want to give room keys out because they couldn't take a card deposit. In the end we had to insisted that they gave us our room card after asking more than 5 times. Having this poor experience with the check in, the room we were allocated was small and noisy being next to the road and not having double glazing. The stair carpet down to reception looked like it had not been cleaned in 20 years. For all of this dreadful experience no discount was offered and we left the next morning without having breakfast as we had totally lost faith with this hotel.

I stayed on the first floor overlooking the road. The bedroom was a standard with a double bed. When I booked it said superior room with a queen bed. Room was very noisy the traffic was heavy and noisy until 3am. Would have thought that windows would have been better to shut out traffic noise.

Mandeville hotel turned out to be exactly what we want. We stayed there for 11nights. The room are very clean even though a bit small. Hotel staff were very helpful with directions, suggestions for restaurants and facilitated extra work with great attitude. There are a lot of restaurants and boutiques all with in walking distance. Tube station is just minutes away. Highly recommend it!

The only thing which could have been improved--the cleaning staff forgot to give us clean towels and washcloths on a couple of the days we stayed. Other than that, everything was good. Beautiful hotel in one of the most charming local.

We had a wonderfull stay, the staff was excellent and the rooms are a generous size. The only reason I am taking a star is due to the very hard mattress. It felt like sleeping on a table, my son wanted to sleep on the floor because it was more comfortable.

Room decent size and clean. There was a cold breeze from somewhere, even with heating on and windows shut. TV contrast was wrong (as we didn't really use it didn't bother us).

Every member of staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast had a good choice of food and it tasted good.

2 minutes walk from Bond Street Station so location was excellent (we chose the hotel as 5 to 10min walk from london palladium).

Amazing location - so near to the shops and with some great eateries nearby too. The room was spacious and felt really cosy and welcoming. All the staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming.
The only minor complaint we have is that we felt breakfast was a little overpriced for the quality, but there was plenty on offer.

Every member of staff we met was excellent from check in to checking out! … very polite and knowledgeable. Room was spacious and clean and quiet. Location of this hotel is perfect for shopping in Bond Street, Oxford Street and Marylebone High Street. Bond Street underground no more than a 10 minute walk away so accessing other parts of London was easy.

The hotel was lovely. Nice and clean, and the staff were very friendly. Air con worked perfectly and the bathroom was spotless.
The breakfast in the adjoined restaurant was a little disappointing, the pancakes didn’t taste homemade which I’d expect for the price of them. The room we were in had a door to another room where we could hear conversations and TV really loudly.

This hotel is Ok.
Handy location and nice bar.
The hotel itself is tired , needs a refurbishment. Leather panelling in foyer is ripped. Carpet is old . Wallpaper is dreadful.
