Beautiful hotel with the BEST location. Steps away from the tube which will take you anywhere. Within walking distance of many sites, shopping, restaurants, etc. (if you like to walk - we walked miles every day). The negative? The hairdryer provided only worked in an outlet in the bedroom. Wouldn’t work with the international outlet that we brought. Not the best for someone who needs a hairdryer with a mirror in the morning.

Bad reception!

The receptionist did not know from the computer data that I had already paid in full and even asked me for the money for the room stay. I had to tell him I had already paid it in full. So this confusion caused stress right away in me. It was not very professional on the staff member part. That spoiled the stay at the hotel.

Great stay and staff

All staff were really excellent, very friendly , attentive and a great credit to the brand. Cant really fault anything about the hotel, felt very premium. It has a steam room but no sauna and would prefer that latter but that really is nitpicking. Would definitely stay again. Am very surprised its only 8.2 as at time of writing

The beautiful Marriott Parklane Hotel is located very central. Just a short minute walk to great stores and restaurants. The staff is exceptional. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable! Just overall a lovely and elegant hotel to stay in! I would stay there again and again!!!!!!!

Overall service not worth for me to spend here. From my first step to the hotel entrance till I get in the room was not like 5 stars hotel. Take too long time for check in. Arrange the end of corridor and no view, 1st floor room . Concierge make wrong reservation for my afternoon tea at Fortum Mason. Let me take long explanation to reception to get back my table. Poor experienced

I wasn’t sure when I arrived but was so pleased by the attentiveness of every single person on the staff. Also the room was extremely comfortable. I will day the lobby music sounded tinny and gave impression than a “less than” hotel. Which it is not!! Lovely lovely!

Room wasn’t ready until 4:30pm which after an overnight fight where you get in at 7am is pretty tough. I extended my stay an extra day but it wasn’t recorded and I had to re-extend the stay on my original check-out date when I was in a rush to make a meeting. The service at lunch too slow and somewhat apathetic. The room was great. Spacious and well furnished. Nice bathroom and decent closet space. The maid service was good.

The Marriott London only has about 150 rooms but the quality is outstanding. I was upgraded as a Marriott Gold member and the room just perfect. The Hotel staff were very helpful and well mannered and also fun. Of course you can’t be the location Park Lane and Mayfair.

No bath in the room which was very disappointing when I was cold and needed a soak to warm up! They offered us another room with a bath but it smelt of smoke and was a dark room. So we ended up returning to the room with the shower. Poor show for the amount of money it cost.

I booked two rooms, one room for the one night was great and big which was to be expected for 800$ a night, the other room for the two nights was half the size but still 800$ a night and there were two people in that one opposed to only one person in the big room.

Lovely but......

Excellent condition and excellent service when you can get it. Medium term problem with Sky Sports and BT was frustrating as had to ask to be accessible and told. Breakfast took forever (80 minutes) for bacon and eggs and some toast. Lovely location, lovely room could be better though.

Great Location

Great staff that were very helpful and wanted to make our stay memorable. My suggestions would be to increase the number of towels in the room, face cloths and hand towels not replaced after the first day just two bath towels for two people. We could easier ask for them but they should be replaced. Also espresso coffee pods were nice to have in the morning but our cleaning staff kept replacing our used ones with decaf pods:( Additionally for a room with two people they only put one housecoat?

Over all we were happy with our stay. One of our rooms was upgraded due to a mix up on check in and they also gave us free breakfast and wifi to make up for it.

We went with our teenage daughters and would definitely return.

I've stayed in a few central London hotels over the past few years and I am pleasantly surprised to say that this was my best stay to date. This was my second stay at this hotel after a couple of years.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Daniel who was extremely helpful. I got a complimentary upgrade to the superior room which was very nice. Large room, big shower, Japanese style electronic toilet, large bathroom. Good size room with TV (with the sports and movie channels). The room was clean and quiet. All of the rooms were refurbished in 2014/2015 and are of a high class.

I did speak to Betty on a few occasions and her client service was outstanding. I have to say that I was impressed by all the staff.

when I stayed last time, the pool was not completed and I missed out. It is such a joy to have a pool in a central London hotel. The pool and steam room are fantastic.

The breakfast was superb, however, it is al-a-carte, so allow enough time as I was in a rush on one of the days and it took some time to arrive. The quality and selection of the food is excellent and the service was outstanding. Try and get the breakfast included with your room as it is on the pricer side, depending on what your order.

The location is good, 2 mins from Marble Arch station and WIFI was also good.

Clearly, I will not hesitate to stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend it to others.

-AC does not work
-Mosquitoes inside tye room due to the room being close to a terrace which the hotel is renting for a restaurant-bar who kerps tye door open
-Too noisy
-housekeepers don't do their job. They take used towels and don't replace them with fresh ones
-the mini bar is not being checked for replenishment until you call them.

Great Location for the \"Tube\" , Busses & Shopping

My wife and I stayed there for her 60th birthday. Everyone on the staff that we met was very polite and eager to help however they could. The room was large, well lit, tastefully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The Marble Arch tube stop is just a few feet from the hotel which makes it easy to get around London. It was definitely worth the money.

Absolutely one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I can't even think of an area where they could improve. The room and pool were amazing. The staff at the hotel and resturant were top notch. They didn't miss a beat! Impressive little details such as the scented candle in the workout/pool reception area. This was my 2nd visit and I recall it being just as great 4 years ago. Looking forward to returning.

So nearly perfect - great location for Marble Arch

The newly refurbished Marriott is a super hotel to stay in. We chose it because we were going to the Proms in the Park and the entrance was literally across the road from the hotel. 2 minutes from Marble Arch underground station and Oxford Street, you really couldn't get closer to public transport and shopping. The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was at the rear of the hotel which we were grateful for as facing Oxford Street or Park Lane would have been noisy. The hotel amenities were lovely (including a pool!) and the bed was extremely comfortable. The niggles which stopped me from giving this a perfect scoring is that it was obvious a smoker had been using the room before - the bedding smelled of smoke and one of the staff had to come and close the window after we had arrived. Also the air conditioning didn't work and the volume control for the audio in the bathroom didn't work either. We were in room 331. Other than that, the stay was very enjoyable.

We had problems with our stay- House keeping was found to be deficient.
Also on checking out, they were trying to double charge us on breakfast and wifi, though both these were paid for in advance as mentioned in the booking sheet. It took some persuation for them to bill us correctly -they asked for a copy of the booking sheet though admittedly, the room tariffs have already been paid for.

This hotel has gone through recent renovation and is now surely one of the best places to stay in London.

Pro's: Friendly staff, large room, super bathroom with high end Rainshower, light switches where you expect them to be, large TV with all the sport channels, excellent al a carte breakfast. Heated towel rail was a nice touch. Initially, we were informed that the WIFI was chargeable but it turned out to be free and was very efficient. Swimming pool is good. Location is excellent.

Note that this hotel is on North Row (not on Park Lane as is mention in most places), so was initially hard to find.

Few small things to note.The main entrance does not have a lift, so might be a challenge for disabled guests. The room also doesn't have a master light switch (so significant waste of electricity and slightly annoying having to switch off every light when going to sleep. There were also a couple of lights that remained on for smoke alarm/fire exit but these were brighter than they need to be).

Overall, very very impressed. A boutique hotel that lives up it's 5* billing.
Room Tip: All rooms were newly renovated. Very hard to fault. Would have liked to have seen a master switch to switch off all lights.

We arrived to London for a family trip. It is an excellent hotel. It is in central and good location. It is on the marble arch (near the hyde park and Oxford street). There is spa and beautiful indoor swimming pool. The rooms are good. The only thing that disturb me is the fact that the hotel is in renovation and no one inform me about it. There is no lobby in this period of time but it didn't disturb us. Next time in London I will book again this hotel.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
No parking but off site parking available £40 for 24 hour parking, £8/hr with a 20% discount available from concierge.
Food is very nice in restaurant.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely return but not hire a car. London is very expensive for parking and speed traps are everywhere.
Tube is right outside and can bring you everywhere.
Open top bus is great and ticket last for 24hrs.
