Great apartments with a short walk to the old city

Great apartments with the basics you need to prepare meals, dishwasher and washing machine. Extra towels, hygiene and cleaning products was provided. Only thing that was an issue was quality and range of wifi network. Was only available close to entrance.
But other than that . Amazing Service provided before our late arrival. Great standard of the apparment and accessories that was provided. Walking distance beautiful Old town of Bilbao, Museums, restaurants etc.

Set up confusing as one lift then a corridor to another lift. Garage convenient €15/night. Staff very friendly. Short walk to old town down a ateep hill.

Clean and comfortable apartment accommodation (my apartment matched the photos show) just a few minutes walk from the Casco Viejo old town area and 15-20 minutes walk from central Bilbao.

The receptionist was friendly and no problems were encountered during my 3 night stay. Air conditioning (or some sort of fans!) would have been nice as the temperature hit the mid 40s during a heatwave.

Walking to the apartments involves a short uphill walk but if you don't fancy this catch the Bilbobus 77 or 40 from stops in the city centre and around the old town (0.66€ when using a Barik travel card).

Would happily stay here again.

Stay was great. I was late checking in. I arrived at the hotel at around 11PM. Receptionist was no longer there, but Edgar picked up the phone and helped me get to the parking and to my apartment. Edgar is a great guy.

Helpful staff and clean. The double bed was really uncomfortable and had old springs which creaked with every move. The toilet didn’t flush with the press button so we just took the lid off. We didn’t have spare time to get this fixed.

Apart-hotel. Location was not bad, but a bit farther from the restaurants and shopping and museums than I would have liked. Still walking distance, but through a rough section of town. The building was clean, but the apartment was showing its age. All of the furniture was IKEA type and old, not the most comfortable. Appliances were older also and no dishwasher. Overall is was ok. The price could be a bit better given the conditions and distance from city centre.

Arrived after 9pm and was told the security guard would meet us and give us the keys . No instruction on how to get into the property and nobody there , had to go looking for him . When we finally got the keys the key to the main building did not work . The bed settee in the front room dipped think the springs had gone in it . Think it needs updating.

Heavy smell of cleaning fluid upon arrival which lasted 2 days. Bed was horrible springy trampoline!. However great location only 10 minutes walk to markets and old town, which made up for the downside of unit. Staff friendly upon arrival but lift format very confusing.

manager was a complete jerk

the service was awful. specially the manager he was a complete jerk!. this apartments are very nice, but unfortunatelly we had an apartment with no heather and it was really cold outside so we were freezing!, and there was NO hot water to be able to take a shower. we called the reception and guess what? well... there is no one there to help during the night, only the guard, so he was kind and he was able to get us extra blankets to be able to sleep. In the morning the reception opened about 9am, and I complaint about the heather and the hot water and manager said \"oh well you survived!!\"
If staying here I'll suggest definetelly make sure you get there with pleny of time for someone in the reception to go to the apartment with you and check EVERYTHING! before they leave you hanging.

A home away from home

Shower in apartment 108 needs fixing but comfort wise just like a home away from home. Has all the stuff needed like washing machine stove/oven, fridge, microwave etc. Only thing missing was a kettle but almost perfect. Lots of buses to head downtown but walkable which is what we did. Do note it is uphill on the way back but great exercise :)

It was clean, but very dated. The staff was helpful, but couldn’t get the WiFi to work for most of our stay. The location isn’t as good as we thought. It’s quite a walk to bars and stores. The building is confusing, and no explanation for heating in the room. Our refrigerator barely worked, so that was frustrating. Many things in the room were in disrepair!

The accommodation was functional and clean. Not a nice neighbourhood and very noisy. No aircon but lady at reception gave us a fan which helped. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very little to do in the city itself. Glad we had a car and could drive to nicer towns and beaches. A 2 day stay would be max for me in bilbao but a great base for exploring northern spain.

I booked this room for my wife, Mercedes, my granddaughter and my sister I'm-law. This is her review.
Great view but a little bit remote yet walkable to the main drag. Is on a hill so is easier going than returning. From the nearest supermarket is 6€ though. Go there BEFORE getting to the hotel because there is no welcome home little basket with coffee, tea, sugar,nor salt and pepper packets. Extra roll of toilet paper in case it runs out at 10pm. There is a washing machine :) but no little courtesy pod of detergent :( awaits you. DO NOT approach the blond receptionist unless you are ready for unprofessional, unsympathetic information stating that it is not the duty of the hotel to make you feel welcome and that it is your problem if you arrive late at a strange neighborhood and find yourself without basic necesaires. The apartment is very comfortable and the decor is elegant. Wel equipped except that the only trash can is in the kitchen. There is no room cleaning service while you stay:(

Decent hotel, but expected much more for price

The location was within walking distance of the Old Town area (about 15 minutes), but there was not much to do near the hotel. The beds were very uncomfortable, and although the staff responded to our issues quickly, we still had very poor nights sleep the whole time we were there. I expected something better for the price we paid.

We had a lot of trouble finding the apartment! When we finally arrived the Apartment was very clean and well located however it was on a busy road and there was a lot of building work around. There was no air con so we had to have the windows open which meant we got no sleep because of the noise. It was an ideal stopover for 2 nights and a convenient walk to the old town and the Guggenheim.

What a wonderful surprise!

Hotel accepted our booking late after another hotel did not accept our confirmed booking. Reception had trouble with eftpos and printer, but sent us through anyway, we were grateful to have a room at such a late stage, but also found the room fairly new, clean and spacious, very grateful guests! Good decor a bit out of town

The staff were very helpful, lovely rooftop terrace and close to supermarket. Bus and tram close by and then of course there was the wonderful, wonderful Gugenheim Museum!!
Only drawback was the lack of air conditioning and the noise from the street because we had to leave the windows open. This would not be a problem in cooler weather as there is heating.

Great Base for Bilbao

this is a nice Apart-Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. It has parking and pretty easy to get to from the Autopista. Great location if you get a room with a riverside view, its pretty special to wake up in the morning to.

getting around Bilbao is easy from here - there is a Tram stop at the bottom of the road, opposite a great café for breakfast. Getting to the Guggenheim costs 2 Euro and takes 10 minutes.

If you are staying over before/after a ferry from the UK - I really recommend it, I wish we had stayed longer than 1 night, because Bilbao is such a gem.

We had an over night pleasant stay in Bilbao. Great little park near for my three year old and nice walk back from Guggenhiem museum. Ideal if staying more than one night as great kitcehn favilities, washing machine etc but was a bit too far from the station for one night with toddler (had to get the taxi which ended up almost 30€ round trip)

Excellent apartment ruined by lack of staff

Address given (including zip code) is not recognized by GPS or Google maps. Just on the edge of the city center, so it’s not convenient for exploring on foot. The building is laid out a bit complicated, esp. if you parked in the basement. The apartment is super clean, very spacious (we got the 2-bedroom unit) and well equipped. Bed and pillows are great. Sheets and towels freshly cleaned. No dishwasher, no dish towel.
There was only one staff at the reception. When we arrived, no one was there. The entrance is locked so we couldn’t even get in. We waited for about an hour before the receptionist came back. By that time, more guests were waiting. Since we had to leave early, we were instructed to put the keys in a drop box but not told that the garage key is needed to get out of the garage. We had to wait for half an hour before someone came in and when I told him our dilemma, the guy didn’t even show an ounce of urgency toward our situation and asked me to wait. We finally got out of the garage by asking an incoming car to hold the door open for us with his key.

Stayed here July 2011. Only a ten minute walk to old walled city. twenty minutes walk to modern city centre.
Staff very friendly and helpful, spoke good English. Rooms clean with useful kitchen area and big fridge.
In the town lots of great places to eat.
Free wifi only to huge ground floor sitting room/ TV room which can be accessed any time of the day. At first I disliked this idea. I would have preferred internet access in all the rooms but after a couple of days we just got used to it and it was okay.
Bilbao is an interesting town to visit and next time we go there will try to book this hotel.

Für Selbstversorger völlig ok. Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine, Dusche, WC, Doppelbett und Ausklappcouch, Fernseher. Bequem mit Fahrstuhl erreichbar. Leichte Abzüge bei: Duschkopfhalterung (defekt), WC (wackelte), ein paar lamge schwarze Haare auf dem Boden, die nicht von uns waren. Rezeption sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Diese ist nicht dauerhaft besetzt, allderdings kann man zu \"normalen Tageszeiten\" in Spanien anrufen, dann ist jemand innerhalb weniger Minuten vor Ort. Das Haus ist ruhig, nachts (!) kommt allerdings täglich die Müllabfuhr. Ruhige Wohngegend, etwas \"den Berg hinauf\". Es fahren aber auch drei Buslinien, Bushaltestelle nahezu direkt vor der Tür. Die U-Bahn ist ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg entfernt (Haltestelle Basarrate), die nächste Straßenbahnhaltestelle Atxuri ist ca. 10 Minuten entfernt (dafür aber vom Appartement bergab).
Die Datenrate des WLAN ist leider etwas schwach. Für das nötigste reicht es aber.

Établissement spacieux et lumineux

Appartement spacieux et lumineux, confortable, avec tout le nécessaire, ( cuisine, lave vaisselle, lave linge, sèche cheveux,etc...)
L'établissement est plutôt bien situé, en hauteur.
Par contre, il était question d'une salle de sport et d'une terrasse qui au final n'étaient pas accessible 😕.
Attention aussi à l'accueil où il n'y a personne. Nous avons eu la chance de tomber sur la réceptionniste qui revenait mais sinon, nous attendions et donnions depuis un moment sans personne pour nous ouvrir.

Nous avons néanmoins passé un très bon séjour.
Check in et checkout très rapide !

La situacion es bastante buena, a 10min andando del casco viejo y con bus y tranvia a 3 y 6 min del apartamento, respectivamente. Echamos en falta un buen funcionamiento de la wifi. El apartamento es muy amplio y tiene de todo. La chica que nos atendió muy agradable y atenta.

Nous avons aimé la proximité du centre historique, le fait d'avoir un parking auto (payant) . Mais il y a le bruit de l'avenue même la nuit, le bruit de certains voisins. Le nettoyage n'avait pas été complètement fait au sol. Le parking souterrain est petit, pas facile de se garer sans accrocher le véhicule. La proximité du centre ville est le meilleur argument et le fait de pouvoir faire sa cuisine sur place

Die Apartments sind groß und sauber. Alles ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber funktioniert soweit gut. Die Küche ist eher mittelmäßig ausgestattet (es gab zB keinen Wasserkocher). Dafür gab es eine eigene Waschmaschine. Nach vorne ist direkt eine Straße, bei geöffneten Fenstern ist es teilweise laut. Die Apartments nach hinten sind aber relativ ruhig.
Die direkte Umgebung ist eher nicht besonders schön, man ist aber zu Fuß schnell in der Altstadt und es fahren auch Busse und Straßenbahnen direkt um die Ecke. Ein großer Supermarkt ist auch nicht weit entfernt.
Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und bei allen Fragen sehr hilfsbereit.
Insgesamt würde ich die Unterkunft empfehlen, da viel Platz und nicht weit vom Zentrum.

Los apartamentos están genial y a solo 5 minutos del casco antiguo. La única pega es aparcar por los alrededores que es bastante complicado.

Personeel heel aardig en behulpzaam. Het appartement groot genoeg maar niet voor 1 week, de bedden zijn echt slecht. Max voor 2 dagen. De kamers zonder airco. We kregen een kleintje op de kamer. Maar het was erg warm terwijl buiten niet zo warm was. WiFi werkte niet in het appartement.
Locatie is erg goed en zeker voor de prijs in Bilbao. Maar er is geen eetgelegenheden in nabijgelegen buurt. Je moet wel 15 minuten lopen.
Al bij al acceptabel voor 2-3 dagen.

El apartamento estaba muy limpio y el colchón era cómodo y sin molestias nocturnas, lo único las sartenes estaban para cambiar pero hicieron su función, el enchufe del cuarto de baño estaba en malas condiciones y casi quemo el secador, la parte vieja se encuentra a unos 15 minutos andando, el aparcar está complicado aunque tuvimos suerte y encontramos sitio después de dar unas vueltas por las calles adyacentes por lo que es aconsejable no mover el coche si se tiene suerte para aparcarlo
