Convenient location and newer condition

The lobby is on 2nd floor, we have problem to get in the building. More instructions on the door will be helpful. Room is new and spacious. We don’t use much of the kitchen but found the frying pan needs to be replaced. Beds are comfortable. Lots of restaurants/stores nearby but not noisy.

The place is beautiful, the staff didn’t speak much English , but they so tried , bless them, Coco and Yasin were so helpful and also the 2 ladies we met at checkout on the 2nd September 2025
They were so very helpful

It’s a hotel with kitchen, after spending 3 nights with takeaway , we were just so happy to get a kitchen to cook , there are shops nearby , one just next to the train station , if you want a good picture perfect village , get on the train and go to Annecy for just 5 euro . There is nothing much to see in Annemasse . But this kitchen hotel is lovely , bars, restaurants and Monoprix shop just seconds literally across the hotel

Great base to get into Geneva. Trains leave every 10 mins or so from the station that is a 10 min walk away.You can get an all day train ticket to use to and from Geneva and all transport in Geneva for about £12 for 24 hours , Excellent value.
Also , its easy and cheap to get to the hotel from Geneva airport , costs about £5 if that.
Train to Annecy is also a MUST .

Place was great once I found it, google maps took me to an area around the corner. Was perfect for a quick overnight before heading to Geneva airport. 5 min walk to train, then short ride to airport. Keep in mind the front desk is only staffed until 9pm, which was close for me. I notified the hotel via messaging and didn’t hear back. It did end up working out. Place was clean and cozy, a bit outdated but that’s no biggie. No A/C so had to open the window. Lots of activity outside until late into the evening. Wasn’t an issue for me but worth mentioning.

Wonderful..nearby carrefour market and walkable to the annemasse train station and the geneva tram lone stop at parc gardens.the price is affordable for a complete appartment in the city...the reception was helpful too and friendly staff..the staff speak both english and french and were quite helpful..so many other shopping malls and restaurants in the area..I loved my stay.

Hotel is located in the busy town centre, so the surrounding area could feel safer, including the car parks.
No parking included. Wasn't told before my arrival.
Used tissue found on bathroom floor.

When I entered (another guest let me in), I panicked : the hallway light had been out, I couldn't see the reception, so I assumed they had left 1 hour early (based on the previous reviews). I was texted my room number which didn't open the key safe. None of the phone numbers worked, including the one above the safe.
A kind and very helpful staff member came down to get me because ... the reception is on level 1 (1st floor) - this needs to be added to Expedia.

Was very nice Hostel and it was good because near to the Annemasse station 25- 30 min very easy to go to Geneva I enjoyed my holiday for that. Also, people are working in the hostel was very nice and helpful.

Initially a small room was allocated for 4 people while I provided all the information before booking. Upon contacting the admin team an alternative room was provided which was not ready for the guests. The sink was blocked.

The apartment was very nice and the staff accommodating. We had a loud guest above us on our first night, and the staff immediately gave us a top floor room, no fuss at all. We'd definitely stay there again. Location is excellent. Parking is difficult and expensive, but that's not specific to this property....that's the whole area.

I had a great time to stay at Appart’City in Annemasse. I had a single room was perfect to me with a small kitchen . I didn’t spend much, great prices and good location too and very nice workers ( stuffs )
I can’t wait to go back there again in summer .

Perfect stay to visit Geneva. Just 20minutes by TER train from Gare de Annemasse. Hotel is locate near Gare de Annemasse, just like about 5 minutes walk. We booked family room and equipt with small kitchen with stuffs. Hotel entrance is using small mirror door, and we need to access by lift to reach receptionist. Overall, we love to stay in this hotel. Clean and perfect locations.

The property on the outside looks nice. The inside is so unattractive. The carpets are dirty and the rooms have no amenities. There isn’t even a table next to the bed to put a pair of glasses. The hallways look like a jail. It is depressing. No picture on the wall. It is the most basic place. The photos are not representative of the units.

Hot summer day. More then 30 degrees inside, no fan or AC. Bed was bad, seemed time to change to a new. Bed had no resistance, just went down to bottom when lying down. Otherwise for a longer stay probably fine. Cleaning okey, some dust left in corners

Worse customer service ever.

Worse customer service experience in my life . Not only no one was there to open me the door but they did not find useful to send me the door code and/or to pick up my numerous calls. I eventually followed people who entered the building and found a card in a letter box with my name and a room number. The card did not work and nobody replied to my calls and/or voicemails. I had to book to another hotel at 4 am and they even alleged that I sleep there while I was not there. Thanks God, I booked my hotel room with hotels.com which was able to confirm that I was somewhere else. It was awful from start to end. Hotels.com has not been helpful at all and I had to pay the new room and did not obtain a refund of.the previous one. Hotels.com only gave me a small value voucher which did not cover the cost paid...very bad customer service experience and appart city should be avoided.

Great Alternative to pricey Geneva hotels!

The room is comfortable. Wi-Fi never worked in the room so had to come down to the reception area where it was fine. 40 min. bus ride to Geneva with the bus right outside the hotel.

The place didn't have anybody at the reception on Saturday night.
We had a problem with our keycard and it didn't work to use the elevators nor to get in the room. When we called the client service number, they told us we would have to wait for 45 minutes. 15 minutes later they called again saying that we would have to wait for 45 minutes.
We had to wait outside for one hour in front of the room we paid for.
The next day, we went to the reception and their reaction surprised us.
First, they said they didn't understand why we were complaining because we were able to get in the room after we called the service.
They also told us that is not a problem that happens often, so they didn't see why we found that a real problem.
It doesn't matter if it happened once or twice, they should have at least one person there to help in case something happens.
We asked for a discount but they said that because we had paid on the Internet there was nothing they could do and we would have to talk to hotels.com.

I stayed here in Oct/Nov/2017, for two weeks. I was visiting my son and family in Annemasse and the location was perfect, a short walk to visit.

It has a Monoprix store, for buying groceries, drinks etc., and most other items you may need, right across the alley and a Panier (chain store) cafe/boulangerie next door, that I frequented daily. There is also a Pub across the alley and a lot of shopping/restaurants in the immediate area. There is a breakfast cafeteria and laundry facilities onsite, but I never used either.

Generally, the rooms are sparse; not too fancy, but very clean and entirely adequate for what my needs were. The front desk staff speak English, were very courteous and and looked after my needs. I will certainly stay here on my next visit.

Perfect location but not a clean apartment!

Location of the apartment is perfect! Less than 4mins walk from Annemass train station and bus stop is just round the corner. There is a supermarket opposite to the apartment and ApprtCity building is located in heart of a street surrounded by coffee shop and restaurants. It is also very close to Geneva and convenient to travel every day.
But to get into the apartment you need to solve a puzzle and find out the key when you receive an instruction message In French just a day before your check in. No reception until 9am and just for few hours a day to help with your Inquiries! Not really helpful! We were given a small and stinking room with no air condition and too much noise when we had to leave windows open during night! Our room was changed on my requisition next day. It was big and nice but no internet connection until last night!! There was no kettle in the room to make tea and not that much kitchenware or facility to be used!
In total, I was very happy with location.

Apartments are clean and well located. a monoprix an a boulangerie next door is a plus. wifi is spotty at best and very slow. people are friendly. breakfast is average by french standards. if you can't get to the apartments within the reception published business hours, look for another place to stay. saw a bunch of angry people every night trying to contact the reception to get their key. overall good value for the price. no AC.

There are better places to stay

Staffing is minimal. Nobody is available after 9 in the evening. There's no iron in the room. You can rent one for 1 EUR per day. When I asked for one, none were available. The kitchen was adequate, except there wasn't a knife for preparing food. I had to buy one from the supermarket (there's a good Carrefour 10 minutes away). The room felt very basic but at least it was quiet, most of the time. I'll find somewhere else in future.

Cool hotel with good price

Good stayed though it was just a few days but I do enjoy the hotel rooms. It has all things you need and it feels like our home. Clean, modern and spacious.

Only problem i had was the location, it was a little far from Geneva town and others popular mountain around the French border.

Annemasse was a lovely small town but at night it was very quiet and all the stores are closing early. It was a peaceful town indeed.

I would recommend this hotel for those who travels with their own vehicle the best. Strictly not for travellers without transportation, there's a little distances I do believe.

good choice in annemasse

this part of france, and switzerland, is very expensive, but this is a reasonable choice for anyone flying out of geneva airport in the morning. comfortable bed, use of kitchen, good strong shower, and friendly service. one thought: it would be nice if, when asked how to reach the airport, the desk clerk simply said: catch the express 61 by the post office, 2 blocks away, then transfer to the number 5 at the train station, right next to the 61 in the same bus bay, all for one ticket price of 4.60 euros.

Would not recommend. The only pro of staying there was the proximity to local restaurants and pubs. Difficult to find reasonable priced parking, no spaces on street parking, local self serve parking was 35 euros per day+night. Noisy industrial/shopping neighbourhood and no air con with temperature outside almost 30 degrees. We thought that it will be a good base for a day trip to Geneva but it was too hot for sightseeing and did not want to lose parking space so stayed the day at the room gathered around a fan that we had to pay 2e extra for, same with wifi. I was too scared to leave the hotel by myself after dark, it seemed safe within 15 metre radius from the entrance. Further away some men were targeting bypassers, asking them for cigarettes and hitting on women. The room was ok, so was the service at the reception desk.

One of the staff was very rude: told us to open the door one way and when we couldn't get it, did another way which she hadn't show before and looked at us like she didn't want to help us.
It is very hard to find, there are no luminous signs or anything like that.
It is close to the train station and a very good place to shopping.

We booked 3 x double room, we got 1 bedroom apartment end up, the room is huge, there's 1 x double bed and 1 x double sofa bed, nice staff, but it's quite far from the central of Geneva, took around an hour from the apartment to the central of Geneva. Supermarket is opposite to the apartment so we can buy foods from the supermarket. But the apartment was a bit hard to find at the beginning because the door was so tiny. The price of the apartment is a great bargain though, we could cook in the apartment, air con is good. Wifi is $2 a day, great price.

Hi we have just come back from Geneva and stayed in Annandale where these apts are we flew into Geneva got the train into Geneva 3 Euro got the bus outside area 4 bus 61 4 Euro pay the driver get of at chabily parc walk only 50 mtrs into the shopping centre opposite the au bureau pub is the city apts red flag on street great restaurant across the way ,monolithic shop for your shopping food etc have a walk to thew globe pub 10 mins down high street past h&m good food and cheap wine and beer we used the bus to get back into Geneva ,we also got the train from annemasse to chaminx to the ski resort it cost 40 Euro return what a great experience for the day all in all a great stay 10/10 I hope this helps

Apartment style is OK if you need to cook a lot. They did not clean the rooms everyday. Coffe machine without filter, we could not make coffe.
It is too far from Geneve, 40 minutes ride in the bus is too long.

I highly recommend this hotel. I arrived from Lyon France where I had the unfortunate mishap of being pick pocket. They got my wallet and cell phone. Arriving at the hotel the receptionist helped me tremendously. She went out of her way to relieve the stress, she went beyond her normal job requirements.
The property is central located, clean, and lots of space in the room.
this is a great property this stay at when visiting Geneva. You can even make light meals.

A comfortable stay.

good for 3 adults, or 2 adults with kids. close to train station, bus stop and shops.
Bed is so so, but the room was quiet, so we are still in our comfort zone.
A bit difficult at first to find the entrance.
The staff was helpful enough to give us directions for bus, free parking, etc.
There is a parking garage next to it, which cost us around 8euro for 12 hrs parking overnight, if you want to avoid street parking.

No stay, took our money under false pretenses

We booked room after long day of travel, and walking in the rain we got to the hotel, and there was no one there, even though we had confirmed for, paid reservation with late checkin approval. Who runs a hotel in 2015 without a place to checkin? Outright scam, no notice from Expedia. Unbelievable

2 rooms for family of 7. Didn't know that you had to pay extra for room cleaning and fresh towels. It was ok, parking expensive although not as bad as Chicago. One room faced the street and was noisy as had to leave windows open with no AC.

Very clean and in the middle of village

We had an apartment which stated would accommodate 4 persons, there were only two of us which was just nice size 4 persons would have been crowded. There is only a hob, no kettle or toaster and no work space in kitchen, but very very clean and the reception staff could speak english. No one in the train station could speak english but if you go across the road to the information center the staff there all spoke very good english and were very very helpful. Would recommend for overnight sleeping and very close to the train station.

Great for a starving student / backpacker

Booked/Paid 2 nights and only stayed for 1, this would have been okay as a starving student but bringing my family was a mistake. The unit, especially the carpets were quite dirty and the beds very uncomfortable.The area is okay as your right in the middle of a newer shopping area but you have to park your car downstairs for $24.00/euros per day and walk your luggage 2-3 blocks with no assistance from the hotel or even a luggage cart. The breakfast area they provide for 10 euros was the only real bright spot.

Very hard to find as street sign not at either end of street...but in middle opposite the appartments.

Also there was a mix up and the receptionist thought I was only staying 2 nights when I had, in fact, booked 3 nights. Could not prove this as I had not printed any documentation.

Very difficult to,locate

Unfortunately we could not find the hotel in spite of asking several local people , more directions need to,be given, when booking. They also told us although we had booked the previous days stay and didn't use it they told us we still couldn't enter before 3pm . This was not acceptable.
Altogether very disappointing as we had to book alternative accommodation I. Spite of having paid for three nights at this place.
We tried to contact by telephone but we got no response .

hotel needs to do a better job advertising on the main street with signs on how to get to the hotel which is essentially in a shopping mall alley. layout of our room was inconvenient: if we opened the windows ( because there is no air conditioning) we couldn't pass from one room to the other. without closing the window.

Wasted a lot of money to check in

I arrived at the hotel/apartment at 10ish, however they closed at 9pm and had to make a phone call to check in. Wasted a lot of international roaming charges in order to get our key card. Then we went in and our twin room became a larger studio but with double bed. As I'm with my brother, we would def need twin bed rather than a double but since we couldn't bother to waste another 10/20 minutes for the call and no idea how could they change it, we stayed and slept for our only 1 night in here. This shouldn't be what I have booked for!

Lovely hotel, parking in Park Chablais

Ok so most people seem to say parking is poor.....but if you park in parking Chablais and then walk out through the Monoprix supermarket (picking up some breakfast and drinks on the way) you come out opposite the hotel! Lovely hotel, rooms are perfect and relatively modern.....also unlike other ApartHotels have all the bits you need to cook and eat.

One word of advice though.....don't break your room key at midnight like we did :) \"whoops\" :) the reception is unmanned at that time and they will just unlock another room for you.....ask for an extra key from the offset!

Other than our mistakes, brill hotel, convenient location and overall lovely time!

cheap alternative to Geneva

If you don't mind 1 hour bus ride and cross into France, this is a cheap alternative to the expensive hotel in Geneva. Hotel is a 10 minutes walk after you get off the bus #61 from Geneva. Look for the little blue house( I ) at the far end of the train station, walk down 1 block, turn right at light for 2-3 blocks till you see H&M, turn right, hotel door in front of Momaprix. Nice big room with frig, stove, coffee maker and microwave, no chair.

Everything perfect, but extremely hard to find if you are driving. Hotel is in an alley inaccessible by car. Address is not on google map or GPS. Underground parking is closed to public after 7 pm. Parking on street is almost impossible. There is a city parking lot 2 blocks away, but you have to be very patient or lucky to find a spot.

It was a little tricky to find but what a convenient location. There's a Monoprix right across the way. That is a big convenience. The rooms were clean and the front desk was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a stay.

I arrived late at night, expecting to locate the parking of this hotel, which I had notified the staff I wanted to use. I was moving and had my car packed full of things I would not want to leave out in my car, but was hoping not to unpack fully. After driving around half-built buildings and construction sites for about 30 minutes, I finally got out of the car to walk around searching for the hotel. Not at all clear where it is from the address. The parking was closed, though no indication was left (confirmed upon leaving by staff). I had to unpack my whole car at midnight at a virtual construction site. I was scared for my safety and that of my belongings. I then had to park in an area that it turned out became construction worker parking in the mornings, so had to quickly pack and move the car. Maybe I would look at this place again in a year but CERTAINLY NOT BEFORE. They should have notified me that there was no parking and told me where I COULD park, as I never found anything nearby that I didn't have to leave from early in the morning. The inside was fine, but my experience was pretty tainted by the unsafe surroundings.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, tout se fait à pied. Malheureusement pas de place de parking associée à l'établissement, mais on peut en trouver pas loin.

Appart vite affichant 3 étoiles, une seule personne très gentille mais débordée elle gère l’accueil et les demandes au différent étage, j’ai dû attendre 15mn son retour pour obtenir du papier toilette…. Service kitchenette ultra réduit , 2 éléments assiettes,verres et couverts 1 poêle et une casserole énorme les 2 ensemble ne tiennent pas sur les plaques chauffantes… pas de grille pain no de notice d’utilisation pour un combo four et micro-ondes…

Custo e benefício foram condizentes. Próxima a estação de trem de Annemasse. Tem supermercado na frente, farmácia e várias opções de restaurantes muito próximos.
Única ressalva é o fato da recepção só abrir as 7 horas da manhã. Equipe educada e receptiva.

Chambre poussiéreuse, salle de bain sentant le pipi (la chasse n’avait apparemment pas été tirée)
Des minis bêtes s’apparentant à des punaises où des puces sur les rideaux du salon, j’en ai failli attraper une crise d’asthme. Et les voisins on les entends c’est mal insonorisé. A fuir. Je suis resté une heure sur 2 jours.

A recepção foi objetiva e cordial. Gostamos das acomodações, principalmente do banheiro espaçoso e do toalheiro que secava as toalhas. O quarto e bom, limpo, com cortinas que deixam o ambiente agradável e perfeito para uma boa noite de descanso! A cozinha tem o básico, mas talvez precise de algum complemento para quem for utilizá-la. Para quem fica mais tempo talvez precise de limpeza no quarto, pois não há rotina diária de limpeza.
A localização é excelente….proxima a vários restaurantes, mercadinhos, padaria e comércio em geral…ah…e da estação de trem! Muito prático e de fácil deslocamento …gostamos da nossa escolha!

Spacious & Kitchen facilities

It was a spacious room including cooking and dining area. It provides almost every kitchen facilities like coffee maker, heat plates, microwave, and even dish washer.
But it was a bit cold to me. I slept well though.
