I have been visiting this hotel for more than 15 years.
the hotel is in a good area with a good size rooms
a very nice breakfast and afriendly staff.
the only thing, i hope they do some thing about
the carpet in the rooms either cleaning the spots
of coffee or change the carpet completely.
i will always keep visiting this hotel and the area.

Quite expensive price for the quality of the stay. Thumbs up only for the position in front of the tram stop, very convenient to reach Geneva's city center in 20 minutes.

The room was quite nice, but the bathroom was surrounded by a bad smell of humidity; even after a complain, nothing changed. Also, my magnetic card did not work at the second night and I had to have it reset at the reception.

The most disappointing part was that, at my arrival, I've been asked for a 150 EUR deposit by cash without any previous notice; since the ATM was too far, I gave my credit card number, which is something not recommended usually. Even though this is asked by law, it would be better to specify it at booking time.

OK but not great.

Got a good deal on this hotel and was happy about it... but the hotel is located in a seemingly so so neighborhood ( we actually don’t know if it’s the case or not...).
The room was ok although a bit run down but the bathroom seemed to have been recently remodeled ( website picture not matching the reality unless we got an older room not yet remodeled). The room was a bit smelly due to a leaky AC... and we couldn’t tell reception because there was nobody when we checked out. Maybe due to Covid policy ?
Otherwise breakfast was good and although we had a room streetside we didn’t hear much.

The room (518), including the bathroom, was actually very nice and quiet. However, the internet (Wifi) in the room was horrific, i.e. practically useless. This needs to be fixed before I am willing to give any rating better than satisfactory.

Serviceable and affordable

The hotel itself is clean, air conditioned, and recently renovated. The staff is helpful and efficient, and there’s a small bar with drinks and snacks. The hotel is not fancy (combination soap/shampoo dispenser), but it’s quite serviceable and one of the better Ibises I’ve stayed in. In fact, I was surprised at how nice, clean, and updated the rooms are. Annemasse is a lovely little area, but connections to Geneva will be far improved when the tram (which will pass right by the hotel) is built. In the meantime, construction on the tram and new apartment buildings makes it a bit confusing to walk in the immediate surrounding area.

Did not even check in to the hotel. The reviews are extremely miss leading, there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance.The location of the hotel is not safe either. We were followed from the bus stop to the entrance of the hotel by three guys on bikes. Once we arrived, it was evident that the entrance and the whole surrounding area was under construction. To get to the entrance it did require guests to walk on a gravel driveway, which damaged my suitcase and a wheel broke off. The drop off bus is walking distance to the hotel, but the bus to go into Geneva was 10-15 minute walk along a busy street due to the pedestrian walkways were under construction. The bus (61) then takes one hour to get into Geneva’s city center, very inconvenient location.

There's a big road work in front of the hotel, making it hard to get in and out. Lucky we were there on week end, so there's no building activity. Shops around the area were closed probably because of the road work.
Staff are friendly and helpful, they speak english. Room's dated, but spacious. Carpet's worn out. Bed's comfortable, with no extra pillow. Overall cleanliness is okay.

Nice and basic hotel, despite construction

Overall positive experience, but the road in front of the hotel is under construction and causes continual traffic jams (with subsequent honking). Staff was pleasant, even if they didn't initially have record of my pre-paying for the room. It was quickly resolved, though, with an apology.

Great stop off in a nice hotel

Ideal for our overnight stop. We didn't arrive until late through travelling, quick and easy check in. Room was clean, had a massive bed which was very comfortable and Large TV. Plenty of parking spaces in private parking for hotel. Bathroom smelt a little but seemed clean. Had a lovely walk in shower! Wifi wasn't great. Breakfast was amazing! Everything you could want from a continental breakfast! It's not the cheapest of hotels as ended up costing about £85 for the night with breakfast but we enjoyed our stop off.

Ok for one night

Needed a hotel close to Geneva Airport just for one night. This hotel was ok for that, but would not want to stay for longer. I would probably pay a bit more and stay at a better hotel if I was choosing again. When I booked I requested a no smoking room, which we were allocated, but when we got to the room someone had obviously been smoking in there. We reported this to reception and they explained that although rooms are non smoking, not all guests respect this! We were given a different room which was better. The hotel should charge guests for the room to be properly cleaned if they ignore the rules. Overall the hotel is a bit tired and very basic. Although there is free car parking, it only holds about 20 cars, which is not very good for the size of the hotel. If it is full they offer secure parking for a charge - not ideal.

Wonderful Hotel!

What a great altenative to staying within Geneva's City Limits. The hotel was the best hotel I stayed in during my travels. The showers were hot. The bed was soft. Parking ws free! **Tip** Try the Pink Monkey across the street- It is fantastic!

If you prepare to stay safe and secure

I liked the concept of the hotel regarding to save electricity and water. Even it is a business, it was fair minded and hotel asked its guests(by hanging note) to collaborate to save energy and water together, instead of showering with false kindness like in some(few) other hotels. The room which I stayed was big enough. Housekeeper ladies did their best to tidy up my room and keep clean. I appreciate it truly. Hotel elevator was rather old and break quite often. Receptionist was a bit reserved and ignorant towards non-french speaking guest(s), which was boring ...

Ibis sur une allée menant en suisse. Grandes chambres avec moquette. Malheureusement elle n'est pas entretenue et est sale. Quelques imperfections : mur abîmé, fenetres fermant mal.

Séjour decevant fort heureusement très court!

Séjour décevant:
- les chambres de l'hôtel ne correspondent pas aux photos .
En effet, sur les phoros, il y a du parquet dans les chambres alors qu'elles ont toutes de la moquette !

-Chambre donnant sur l'entrée donc la rue très bruyante , notamment en cas de pluie et le matin avec les livraisons.

-Il convient aussi d'avertir les futurs clients qu’une caution de 97 euros vous est demandée pour convrir les risques de dégradations, de fumée dans la chambre.... je précise que je voyage seule pour le travail et que je suis non fumeuse!

-au petit dejeuner, un car entier d adolescents espagnols au petit dejeuner, donc pas de place dans la salle, accès aux elements difficile, bruits...

- deux ascenseurs mais un seul en fonctionnement car en tant que client, j y ai croisé à plusieurs reprises le personnel de ménage avec le linge propre ou sale, tres pratique.....

Points positifs : salle de bain refaite et propre.

die Zimmer sind ein wenig spärlich eingerichtet, Betten sind sehr bequem, Badezimmer ist neu gemacht.
Lage ist mitten in der Stadt und es hat rundum verschiedene Restaurants, nähe Genf, Strassenbahn ist driekt vor der Haustür.

Buona l’ ubicazione per recarsi a Ginevra. Abbiamo scelto questa struttura per la seconda volta poiché a settembre eravamo rimasti soddisfatti.
Deve essere cambiata la gestione però, perché abbiamo trovato personale poco preparato e poco professionale e un po’ distratto. Inoltre non c’era molta osservanza rispetto all’uso delle
Mascherine da parte del personale. Questo proprio non ci è piaciuto

Qualche incomprensione sulla pulizia: non siamo stati avvertiti, all'arrivo, di dover comunicare che desideravamo la pulizia nella stanza. Pare che a causa del Covid sia necessario comunicarlo. Non abbiamo ben capito il motivo. A parte ciò nulla da eccepire. Anche il costo della colazione è molto ragionevole.
