Front desk person, Hakeem, was. Joy. It was my partner and my wedding night and he was so ecstatic about that. We are seniors, and to have a young man express such joy touched our 67 and 69 year old hearts!

If you are going to Universal this is a great spot to be. We booked this hotel due to it being so close we could walk. But when checking in, they let us know there was a shuttle to take you to and from the parks. They also have car rental here. If i would have known I would've gotten it here instead of the airport. The pool was great. There was a big jacuzzi, kiddie pool, and a splash pad. Pool bar was closed so I had to go inside to the restaurant. There were lots of food options and I even ordered breakfast to be delivered to the room. My ONLY complaint I had was our bathroom was not great. Toilet made a loud noise when you flushed. Shower also started to fill up. I would stay here again

Staff very welcoming and able to answer all of my questions. Room and facilities were clean but I think the carpet needs upgrading or replaced with laminate flooring. Linens were clean. I would suggest trash bags in the cans maybe. Would definitely stay here again

Stayed there for four nights. The bathroom had poor water pressure, the toilet was not flushing properly, the shower was dripping non stop. The air conditioning temperature was hard to control. It was either blasting freezing air or would shut off, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The was one working elevator in the south tower which created chaos and major delays.

When we arrived in our room it had a musty smell. I called the front desk but of course there were no rooms available to move to. The tub in the shower was clogged and filled up. When it filled up all the dirt from previous guests were floating in the water. Maintenance came and unclogged it but we had to end up cleaning it. The shower head was also in need of a cleaning. The elevators were not in good working order either.

The staff is always amazing here and very friendly. Rooms are always clean, and if you ever need something, they are quick to take care of it for you. Take advantage of everything at the Doubletree, including the breakfast cafe, the coffee shop, and at night the bar and pizza place located right on the property. My family has been going here for years, and it's always a great experience. The shuttle takes you right to Universal Studios, and for those who like to venture like me, there is a public transportation bus stop that will take you to the malls, SeaWorld, and the strip on International Drive!!

Had a great stay at the DoubleTree in Orlando. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The cold water in the shower did not work at all, so showers were nearly scalding. The shower looked like it was from a frat house, very unclean looking. There was no conditioner in the shower. The shower gel ran out after just two nights(I suppose our fault because we declined room service?). I don't normally stay at hiltons, and I remember why now

Overall was an okay stay. The AC unit was making a “dripping” noise the entire stay, and the bathroom sink would not drain. I cad to pull the drain basically out of place because the handle did not work either to lift it. Once I did that it drained like normal, otherwise was good. The room keys worked twice to get us in/out of the parking lot, other times had to push the call button to get someone to let us in or out.

Our experience here was amazing. We planned a trip to universal studios, and we didn't want to spend a lot on a hotel since we were going to spend all day at the parks so we just needed a place to sleep. We spent less than $500 for 3 nights at this hotel and it was a 6 minute uber ride to where they drop you off to universal studios. Very convenient. I'm very picking with cleanliness, and my room was up to par. I would stay here again.

Nice property, restaurant, bar, sweets shop and mini store on site. ASK FOR THE FREE COOKIES at front desk. You have to scan your card when you enter and exit the parking (it’s tap)..gym was really nice and well equipped. Pool area is nice and there’s an arcade and laundry facility on property too :)

Good place to just go and sleep after very intense day in the parks. Good location, walking distance from Universal Resort. Front desk are nice, still not very informed about perks of being a Universal’s Partner Hotel. I asked about Early Entry and they didn’t know, just told me to wait for the Universal attendant the following morning. Gift shop super expensive. The two attendants at the “coffee shop” were rude and unwelcoming, awful chai latte. In room dining- Called thrice to order and never answer the call, same with front desk the last day. Housekeeping, ok… I left a bag with food to be thrown and when we got back, the bag was in front of the bed. Hairs in the bathtub…

What I like most staff security. The walk to Universal is 20 minute walk they also have the Shutter that can take you to Universal Orlando.

Had to be transferred from room due to real bad heavy smell in room, it stuck in my mouth and throat. The new room was great except the bathtub wouldn’t drain well it filled up during shower and took while to drain. Then there was a huge roach inside the shower on our last day moving everywhere. Staff was amazing and they took care of us immediately. We got free breakfast at Sunshine Cafe due to inconvenience, it was really good. Great safe area walking distance to Universal city walk but not in the heat you might just want to uber unless you don’t mind the heat.
