Room was outdated. However, when entering the room there was a really strong smell of cigarette that overpowered the room. The staff over all was really nice, location was decent, but it was not walking distance to any park.

Arrived for late check in and there is a phone on the wall to call someone. The hotel reeked of weed and stale cigarette smoke. No one answered. There was a man asleep in the breakfast area who told me to call a cell phone number. I did, and clearly I woke the lady from her sleep. It took almost 30mins for her to come down and check me in. I get upstairs with my mother-in-law and children to find the key card is not opening the door. I go back down and tell her the room keys don't work. No apology or anything just stuck them in a machine and handed them back. We went back to the door. keys still won't work and then a man clearly sleeping came to the door! So embarrassing for both of us. I came downstairs again and told the girl there was a man in the room. Again no apology she instead gets on the phone and proceeds to go back and forth with someone about the room saying cleaned on their system and finally just said they were all booked and I could call Expedia and ask for a refund! Meanwhile, it's 1:30 am and 4 hotels later before we found somewhere to sleep. This place was beyond terrible.

First of all, the whole place smelled of burning marijuana and stinky feet. What seemed like panhandlers hanging out in their cars in the parking lot. Second, it’s super outdated . This is not necessarily a problem for me, but it was so outdated that it felt dirty and gross, even the pillows felt like they were years old and super used. Upon check-in and on the hotels.com listing, I was told there would be a continental style breakfast, bagels, oatmeal, muffins, coffee, juice, etc. The reality was, it was solely a coffee maker and a couple miniature prepackaged muffins. Those were not even available until I asked. You get what you pay for I guess. But at the very least, I should have been given what I was told on the Hotels.com listing, or by the attendant that checked me in on that evening. This place gets a negative star from me.

We did not use the kitchen as we only stayed one night. The room smelled overly like to much smoke and my family had a hard time breathing. I had to wear a mask to sleep so as not to breath the smell in. There was no wash clothes in the bathroom to wsh up with. Just a bar of soap and little bity bottle of shampoo. The condition of the kitchen and tables I would not use as there were in poor condition. I would not recommend this property to families who want a clean environment.

The room was invested with roaches, the entire hotel smelled like weed, and their was hair on the toilet seat. The hotel was filthy! We had to change rings three times and ended up checking out a day early. We had to pay more for another hotel because it was last minute.

Staff was very nice the hotel was what I would expect for the price however online it does say hair dryers are available and at this location they no longer have any at the front desk also they stated the grab and go breakfast bar would also have oatmeal and grits and every time when I went out in the morning neither of those were available and the muffins where gone almost every time so I wouldn't count on breakfast the room was comfy and clean for the most part the fridge was a little rusty and the door swung the wrong way in my opinion but that's not a huge deal the one thing that was kind of gross was I did see a roach on the kitchen counter my second night there so that wasn't pleasant and made me triple check my stuff and that I wasn't sleeping with any or taking any home but other then that it's a pretty fair priced hotel for a roof over your head and a place to sleep

Check-in was smooth. Getting to the room was awful. The 3rd floor smelled of marijuana. When we got to room, the trash can was not emptied from the previous occupant. We put the trash can outside the door and reported it to the front desk clerk. It was never picked up. The shower plumbing was not working properly and we could feel all the coils in the mattress. I almost fell out of the desk chair. One of the 5 foot rollers was missing. The only positive thing I can comment on is that the location was convenient to Universal Studios.

The property and room was clean! Great budget hotel and room had a kitchen which was a bonus! It was easy to find and access interstate and it was right next to universal! If you stay here try Junior Columbia burger it’s Amazing, it’s like three min down the road. Lots of dogs at this accommodation as well and I loved to see that!! It made me feel very welcome and it made it feel like home

Checked four rooms before finding one that we could tolerate for the evening, as every nearby hotel was fully booked (we checked). There were roaches, the smell of old, hot trash, no coffee pots (despite signs that they were available by request), and the cable didn’t work (“no signal detected”). HORRIBLE. We went to a local convenience store for air fresheners, but not before immediately cancelling our second night stay.

No breakfast. Only a few chocolate muffins were in a basket that 3 kids ran up and took. Coffee, that was the only thing there.
The room was horrible. The stove had rush, zero cups/plates/bowls/silverware. No coffee pot or coffee. When i asked the desk none were available either. Room smelled like weed/cigarette smoke. Holes in the computer chair. Dirt on the floor.
A live ROACH was running around the room. Much of the room had cracked/peeling paint and the shower had mild under the shower bench and around the bottom. Disgusting.
Staff forgot they assigned me to the room and tried to push the door open past the security lock to get in.

The breakfast is just a scam. What they offered cannot be called close to a breakfast, its just a packed tiny muffin and coffee. That's it.
The hotel said it includes a small kitchenette with pots and basic utensils. When we arrived there was no pots, plates, cups or utensils. When we asked the reception for them, they said they don't have! If I would have known this I would have booked another other even if it would have costed me twice as more. I wanted the option to cook simple meals on my own but it was not possible and with the absense of breakfast we have to go out to eat every single time.

Ok stay, there was a man in the front smoking weed. As well as the side. There were also children running around unsupervised, especially around the lake in the back. I let the front staff know. Little did I know it was her children she lets run around while she is working.

This property is quite neglected. Lack of maintenance, dirty floors and carpets. No overnight front desk, and suspicious traffic of people coming and going from the hotel. I would not recommend this place.

Property its just another hotel, nothing fancy, but clean and safe!! This type of hotel brings a different kind of clientele, but it's located by universal, it has a mixed crowd!! Some locals, some workers and tourist too!! I would say for tourist families they might not feel as comfortable like any other universal hotel

Booked a room a week in advance. They called me THE DAY OF my booking to tell me they overbooked and they have no rooms available and that I could stay at their sister hotel down the road in a downgraded room with no amount of refund like what? Sister hotel was very dirty, bad smell throughout the halls and room, couch in the room had a weird hole in it like someone did the deed with it. Quickest refund I've ever requested and will confidently NEVER use an extended stay hotel ever again.

Everything was fine. I was just disappointed in the internet access. After a long day of travel, I just wanted to relax and watch some tv. The tv signal was bad and kept cutting out. The front desk receptionist was nice, but admitted the internet connection was lacking before I even checked in.

Extremely outdated. Literally saw 2 cockroaches crawling around in the 10 minutes I was there. Smells like cigarettes even in the non-smoking rooms. Everything looked sketchy

I booked this on Expedia at a high rate. The sink had grass in it. There were bugs on the floor in the bathroom. The light in the bathroom didn't work so you had no light to brush your teeth, wash your face, etc. I called downstairs and there was no one available to help until morning.
I have pictures and a video of everything.
The hand towel on the stove smelled horribly.
I stayed only a few hours. When I went downstairs to complain, the lady couldn't believe my video. She shared she would place a issue and when her manager came in she would show it to her. I received a call offering me a \"free\" night for another stay. There is absolutely NO WAY I would ever consider staying at an Extended Stay - nor should you!!! Absolutely disgusting.

I never checked in. They took a picture of my ID without any warning and without my permission. When I complained I was first threatened and then told that my reservation was refused. I asked them to delete the picture of my ID since I was no longer staying and they refused. Now believing that my ID and info was going to be used for nefarious purposes I called the police as it is illegal to do what they did. The police arrived and they and the customer service rep of Extended Stay on the phone told her to delete my photo and they still refused making an excuses. There is now a police report filed and I will be following up with extended stay until I'm sure they do not have my info. If Expedia does not issue me a refund for this reservation I will have no choice but to pursue legal action. Do not go to this hotel. I'm not even mentioning all of the other things we noticed completely wrong like the people outside loitering doing drugs. The GM and the attendant that were working need to be fired for their completely disgusting inhuman behavior.

Most of the staff were friendly. I stayed for 4 weeks. They only cleaned my room one rime and she did a horrible job. I keep my space clean so I only needed her to vacuum and wipe down. She told me she was on light duty and did not have a vacuum so she sweep the floor with a broom. When I asked could my room be cleaned more often I was told they only clean ever 14 days. I am wheelchair impaired. They wouldn't even yake out my trash. When I asked for clean towels she took the ones I had a put them in the wash, when she gave it back to me she balled them up and put them in a trash nag. The free breakfast was nutri grain bars, packaged mini muffins, packaged instant grits and coffee. They advertise free breakfast from 6 til 9, I came down at 8am and it was all gone. The clerk told me its because of the construction workers. I am glad I was able to get a wheelchair accessible room. The room was fine but as a handicap person I wish they could have at least taken my trash out. I physically could not wheel myself and carry the trash way down to the end of the corridor. It was rude and inconsiderate. I had to have my son drive an hour to do that for me. The room was fine tho. It had everything I needed. If you are not wheelchair impaired you will be fine.

Do not stay here. Not safe by any health rules

Horrible not safe for anyone to stay. No breakfast. Only a couple of pastries The pic in the description is what you get empty table. Rust in the bathroom and kitchen . Things falling apart Horrible smell like mold. Bad for my asthma. The outside of the hotel did not look safe at all.
I left after a few hours and found other hotel. Horrible. And normally I don’t complain

I was told due to the property being conpletely booked up they had no utensils as advertised online or in the rooms. There were no clean pots, pans or silverware available. One of the isle burners didnt work and the receptionist at the front desk stated they haven't had dish detergent in months!!! The propwrry looks very old and outdated. The fridge barely closes and the tub didnt look like it was cleaned in days.

During my escape due to the hurricane that destroyed everything, majority of the team members had a nasty attitude. The one lady that’s from Jamaica and the plus size light skinned lady were the most friendly and helpful. I believe the 6.2 stars on the website were very generous. Extremely out of date, toilet didn’t flush, ac barely worked.

Toilet was clogged sink was clogged roaches in the room. I was giving dirty towels by the manager of the facility. I had to switch rooms three times each room had roaches in it. The property manager will not give out tissue. The staff told me the property manager keep the tissue for her personal use. I went downstairs to ask for tissue as she did not have any, the property manager gave me a bag of towels when I went to complain. The property manager got upset and said that she was denying any future Bookings from me that I was to leave the hotel because I had complained about my stay there. The property managers was very nasty I will be reaching out to corporate that property manager needs to be investigated. She is taking the amenities and using them for her personal use. This came from her assistant managers mouth. The property manager needs to be investigated for taking peoples money and not accommodating guest for having issues with their stay. She prefers to deny them, another chance to book another stay I wouldn’t stay here if my life depended on it this is the worst extended-stay that I have ever stayed at in my 41 years of living. I’m gonna go to the reviews and let people know DO NOT STAY HERE PROPERTY IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, THE STAFF WAS RUDE WITH NO EMPATHY INSIGHT.

We have to go downstairs multiple times after checking in as our room key didn’t work. After the 3rd time we were told they moved someone else’s reservation and gave us their room on the first floor. From there, we finally got into a room and there were roaches so we immediately went back to the front and checked out

Staff was very pleasant. My non-smoking room reaked of smoke. Constant tobacco smell. All of the contents of my luggage smelled of tobacco when I returned home. Fixtures very outdated and not aesthetic at all. Carpets visibly dirty and in desperate need of deep cleaning and updating. Very disappointed by unidentifiable stains on carpet. I kept my shoes on the entire time. Rusted toilet. Very unappealing to the eye.

I always travel with Expedia, I used to work in the hotels bussiness for more than 20 years, I believe you have a department in charge to supervise the properties you advertise, please go to check this one out, I never give a complain about small details, because I know how the hotels operate but they offered breakfast that they don't have it, they didn't clean the room,all the employess nasty.

Took too long to check in, elevator door opened to a staff member cursing (unaware that customers were in the lobby), room with a kitchenette with no cookware, dinnerware or utensils, no washcloths available -went to the front desk where were provided kitchen/dish rags?????? Hotel ran out of toilet paper!!!! Was told that their shipment had not come in, leaving us to purchase toilet paper on our own! Cable worked intermittently, channels were freezing up. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

It was horrible experience. I booked the double bed room and requested for extra blankets. When I get to the hotel, it was weird that one lady behind the counter was screaming on phone at the customer. Than another lady try to look for us booking and her computer was working and she was banging on the computer. She than informed me that they don't have any pillows or blankets. I said ok. The hotel had a mildew smells. Checked in the room to find BLOOD STRAINS on the sheets when my son try to lay down. He freaked out and I called the front desk and the lady said i just washed new sheets and you can come and get them. I asked to change room and she denied.
We wanted to leave but it was late night and I didn't know if we will find any at that time. So we adjusted. Now there is no proper breakfast. Its granola bar and coffee/ tea and muffin. THAT'S IT. so much misinformation about this place. I did complained to the front desk and she said it is what is.I can't do anything.
It is Ridiculous service and place. We paid around $300 for 2 nights and was not happy with hotel and service. It was smelling, mildew and no kitchen utensils. I had to ask multiple times and I got only plates and 4 spoons.
It was absurd! I will definitely not be booking again this hotel.

Rundown and outdated place. You can smell humidity and cigarette even tough I was in a non-smoking room. The Breakfast was just a ¨grab breakfast¨, small muffins and protein bars with coffee or tea.

The hotel is dirty. The rooms are dirty. Even after house keeping, the place was still dirty. It says “no smoking” but the place smells regularly of pot.
