Location, location: Proximity to Universal, restaurants and shops are the main convenience. While the room, the furniture and the washroom are dated, the cleaning staff has done their job properly. We felt the washroom room layout is off because the sink is located outside the bathroom; you are opening the door handle with unwashed hands. Parking fee was a painful surprise; we never knew about the parking fee ($25/day) while we booked the hotel. We wanted to dispute the parking charge. Expedia or the hotel should waive this charge. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Our 6am flight was cancelled and we had to book a last minute hotel. Not only did this hotel have a availability but they allowed us to check in really, really early. The beds were comfortable, the location was 17 minutes from the airport and directly across from Universal Studios and tons of restaurant options nearby.

Breakfast is good as always at IGH, a little of everything for all eaters. Staff were amazing, easy going. Room was very spacious, felt like a small apartment. Shower could have been cleaner and room was never vacuumed but that’s just me being nit picky. Overall was a great stay from being out of state.

NOISY!! This is wedged in the corner of multiple highways.
It is directly across from universal Studios parks, which is convenient but at midnight when everyone comes back from the parks and you hear door slamming for a close to an hour.

We were woken up at midnight to a leaking ceiling after the plumbing from the shower in the room above us leaked. Required a room change in the middle of the night as well as disrupted our sleep stay.

There’s no coffee creamer they only have half and half and that’s not ever filled up. Breakfast is cheap at $9 but nobody tells you that until you go to get orange juice. Overall quiet place friendly staff. They need to have coffee in the rooms with creamer.

Beds were comfortable with the room being clean. Their staff was friendly. The bunk bed option was a nice change since I had three kids with me. The room was a large size with a couch that provided a good area to hang out without being on the beds.
The breakfast tasted wonderful and well worth the additional $.

The girls that run, the front desk are arguably the sweetest and kindest that I have come across in a long time. They were super helpful, genuinely happy to talk to Guest and they made us feel right at home. This property is immaculate, the breakfast is phenomenal in the Location can’t be beat. This property is by far the best deal in Orlando.

Hotel room was okay not bad. I was placed at the end of the hall right next to the ice machine and could hear people (including staff) getting ice at all hours of the night and early morning hours. Next to the ice machine was also a staff only door that was used often and the staff would always let the door slam shut. It was loud and disruptive. This also happened at all hours and especially the early morning hours when I was trying to sleep.

Thank you for your excellent service. As someone who owns a service-based company, I believe no matter how beautiful a hotel is, what truly stands out is how people are treated and your team delivered on that.
We traveled with a service dog, and everyone, including housekeeping, was incredibly kind, respectful, and accommodating. That level of professionalism and warmth does not go unnoticed.
The only physical drawback during our stay was that the walls were extremely thin, and you could hear just about everything. While that affected comfort, I understand that’s not something the staff can control.
If it helps improve the experience in any way, I do want to mention a checkout issue. When I requested a simple receipt for our restaurant charge, the process became surprisingly drawn out. We were trying to get on the road, and what should have taken a quick moment turned into an extended back-and-forth explanation. There was repeated discussion about needing identification, policy details, and system limitations. I completely respect procedures and safeguards; however, the length and intensity of the explanation felt disproportionate to the request itself.
Time matters when guests are traveling. We had a schedule to keep, and standing there listening to the young man’s prolonged explanation for what seemed like a very straightforward request created unnecessary stress at the very end of an otherwise seamless stay.

Bed sheets was not changed, and when I asked for new sheets they brought me dirty sheets. The ladies at the front desk acted like they didn’t care.

- no room maintenance
- brought dirty sheets for the bed when asked for clean ones
- kids yelling in the hallway at night
- undisclosed $150 hotel fee
- undisclosed $25 a night parking fee
- front end staff that acted like the did not give a sh** about what was wrong

Definitely will not be staying there again 😡

The hotel charged me $28.23 for parking, but the reservation included and said free parking. I showed the reservation to the front desk, but she said the Expedia didn’t included the parking in the reservation and that I have to paid it. I will like to get a refund!

Dawneth was great. She offered friendly prompt service. She went above and beyond and upgraded our stay, which was much appreciated! The ease of breakfast and the shuttle were perks to our visit as well. Staff were always friendly and willing to offer any assistance when needed. We would definitely look to book in the future. This was a good stay overall. The staff was helpful in every aspect and the location is very close to the parks. My ONLY complain is the AC unit that shuts off automatically and there is no way to control it. This woke us up in the middle of the night every night.

Check-in was great, the staff were super friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only down side was the breakfast it is the same continental breakfast you get for free at another hotel but they charge you $8 a person here. It is what it is, but overall the hotel was perfect.

I really love the Hyatt Place. The room was clean and large and very welcoming! The lobby is nice and I love their market area whch allows you to get sodas or snacks anytime. When I first arrived my room wasn’t ready so I left my stuff with the very friendly and efficient
front desk person and left to go to the theme parks. When I returned the person that was there for the evening wasn’t not as welcoming or nice. From then on it was clear to to me that the night time staff was not as friendly as the daytime. The person I encountered that first time and a few times after that seemed annoyed when approached for anything and she didn’t seem to care about the attitude she was giving off.
Honestly she was the only negative spot on an otherwise lovely stay.

This nice, clean hotel served all of my needs and desires. Natasha at the front desk (and bartender) was especially charming and helpful. She gave me a quiet room on the top floor away from the elevator without my even having to ask. The location, including the parking lot, is convenient and safe. I will certainly stay here again.

They should have that in an email or advertising unless i missed it. I wouldnt have stayed if i knew that. $25 a night is crazy but everything else was fine.

I expected more for a 9.0 rated hotel. It was pretty average, doesn’t includes parking neither breakfast, and isn’t sparkly clean. When we returned to the room from a long day, the bathtub didn’t seem to be cleaned up. Not even a superficial cleaning. Personally I wouldn’t recommend it, because there seems to be better options in the area that are more or less in the same price point like the Spark by Hilton.

Nevertheless, the front desk personnel it’s pretty good at their job.

We had a nice stay here. The room was very clean and cool. They let us check in pretty early which was a huge bonus so we didn’t have to pay to park at Universal. It is close enough to walk, but it’s still a good ways, so I wouldn’t recommend in the summer. I would stay again.
