From the moment I arrived everything stood out. Staff at check in was very efficient in their duties. The room was spotless and very quirky, bed very comfortable, bathroom was immaculate, everything had been thoroughly cleaned.

No faults what so ever.

The bar/restaurant is lovely, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

I definitely recommend this hotel.

All the staff, from reception (Anita and the other young lady with her with the amazing nails) were fantastic. The young lad at the bar was really efficient and friendly and the young lady looking after the excellent breakfast buffet was again great. Clean smart room and the whole place has a quirky style. Was only a stopover for a couple of nights before a flight but it turned out to be a real find.

My first time at this new range of hotels under the Ibis banner. The whole set up gave a trendy vibe with the décor and set up. The parking was limited but I would advise getting there early to take advantage of it and there is also EV charging. The room was quite small but was decorated really modern. They gym was small but functional especially for the low traffic of users. The shower was very refreshing and set me up for a great night's sleep on the comfy bed. Breakfast was a great buffet selection and they begin the continental breakfast at 4am. I dined there the previous evening and all was good except the dessert was a little ordinary. Overall I would recommend staying here.

Staff all very helpful and in the restaurant too.Room v clean. Just one thing - we couldn’t turn off bedside lights so slept with them on. In the morning asked reception and there is a small button which we didn’t notice under the light. Pity it didn’t tell you that in the room.

The rooms are nice but just be aware it has VERY LIMITED parking on site. We booked it as it advertised parking so that we could get to the airport early the next day, we arrived late in the day and there was no parking on site. We were told to park a 10 minute walk away in an unsecured car park which we were not willing to do as we had our suitcases in the car. Eventually the manager found a place for us to leave the car as we were leaving first thing but we very nearly walked out and found somewhere with parking on site.

Please please fix the issues with the bathroom vent. It varies room to room but depending on who you speak to, you initially get fobbed off with \"they're all like that\". But they're not, some rooms are much quieter whereas some have a much higher noise volume that is not conducive to sleep - really bad when you're on a client work trip.

Would love and even PAY for a premium option for a guaranteed quiet room located in the back instead of overlooking main road & the bathroom fan making a racket - I normally have to ask to switch rooms and no one enjoys that!

Gatwick overnight

One night stay for Gatwick flight. Staff friendly and helpful and room was comfortable although a little stuffy as windows don't open and air con seemed a bit hit and miss. Used the shuttle bus for the return although the local bus was very efficient and would proably have been quicker overall.

What a delightful hotel!

Everything was amazing and comletely thought through for the transiting traveller, from 4 am. Breakfast to airport shuttle to a gym and laundry room. The 5 £ shuttle to the airport and same price from airport to the hotel makes everything so convenient! The whole hotel was super clean as well. Oh.. and the availability of the delicious 24/7 pizza was most welcomed!

Like: very close to Gatwick (7min average drive time) and there is paid shuttle bus service every 30min by 3rd party company, if required. Room was clean. Shower and sinks were clean. Slept well.

Dislike: breakfast was dry (bacon, sausage) and some items were cold (scrambled eggs and mushroom). Food was bland. When it was topped up with hot eggs it tasted bland. We had a cobweb and spider in the shower. This must be one off, but worth mentioning so housekeeping can look into this.we didn't see any cobwebs in other areas.

Windows locked for safety? Would be useful to open windows a bit. Some hotels put a safety lock to ensure windows cannot open fully to ensure safety whilst still having fresh air.

It was a lovely hotel, quite close to the airport, thus why I chose it.

The room was decent and quiet and alll the facilities that I needed for my stay worked well.

The car park was cramped, not much room to park, I had to get out of the car on the passenger side. So that could do with a bit of improvement.
Nonetheless, the price for parking was reasonable compared to other hotels nearby.

We arrived 2 hours early and were required to pay 20 pounds the check in early, even though we were checking out 4 hours early the next day.we were tired so we paid. Just did not sit right with us. I do understand policies. But the room was avaiable.

We felt very refreshed ready for our flight. the next day. Check-in went well, but we had to explain that we had already paid extortionate 15 pound parking for a very small parking space, and the shampoo was empty but apart from these couple of things, everything was marvellous.

Arrived early and could check in early for minimal fee. Room lovely, clean and everything needed for the one night stay. Ate at restaurant and food / service great. Easy walk to some shopping. Front desk arranged taxi for transfer to airport but also shuttle right outside the door too. Had a hiccup by leaving back pack in taxi and hotel helped arrange for me to get this back. Parking dreadful-filled with contractors-Not great

Stayed here many times. Parking is a nightmare. Squashed in next to two other cars and had to climb through my passenger door to get out of my seat. Happens all the time.

Very slow check in. Wrong room given. Had to return to desk to change it.

The sink emptied very slowly so possibly a blockage in my room. Not happened before in other rooms so maybe a problem with just that one.

Service provided at the bar for food and drink is very slow. Not the staff’s fault. They deal with check in and serving behind the bar. This needs looking into as it’s a regular thing. Forever waiting for acknowledgement.

The menu is the same as it’s been in the year I’ve been coming here. Sometimes at check in, the overpowering smell of old cooking oil is very off putting.

Prices have also gone up. Food and drink costs are extortionate for such a low key set up. I’d not mind paying if I thought it was good quality - it’s average.

The staff aren’t happy here. It’s gone downhill and service is provided by agency staff…

Make your own mind up.

I had to squeeze into my passenger seat to get back into the drivers seat on my way out.. I shan’t be coming back - sorry

Excellent transportation options from Gatwick and back (use the bus or the shuttle).
