We experienced several issues with our initial room. The shower was not functioning properly, and the underfloor heating was also not working. Due to these problems, we were moved to another room. When requesting the room change, we were informed that the amenity kits included with our stay would be provided; however, they were not delivered to our room before we relocated.

Housekeeping service was below expectations. Bed sheets were not changed daily, the tables around the bed were not properly cleaned, and overall cleanliness felt inconsistent. For the price paid, the hotel does not meet the standards one would expect from a Meliá property, and there is significant room for improvement.

That said, the staff were friendly and consistently helpful. Karina, in particular, was excellent, she assisted us with the room change and personally ensured we received the amenities and additional water.

While the hotel offers interesting facilities, the overall experience does not justify a return stay.

I enjoyed staying in my very spacious room with views to the Danube. Great amenities and comfort in the room. It’s about 5 mins walk to the closest ubahn station and the UN at Vienna International Centre. The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful, especially Daniel & Ines.

Be very weary of booking this property. They have a lot of rigid booking policies that work in their favour. If you make a mistake or need to change your booking it is impossible to change without loosing all your money. I made an error on the dates we were coming and the only way to change dates was to cancel the booking (and loose 90% of our money) and make a completely new booking. They only allow booking changes 7 days prior to arrival. We phoned/messaged/emailed within ten minutes of booking the room online and they would do nothing to help us. We spent 4 days going back and forth trying to find a solution...they were very inflexible and their policies just felt like a big money scam. We wanted to keep our booking for two nights just changed the check in by one day. We lost $400 and they would do nothing to help. Just kept referencing their policies. They lack humanity and compassion. Think twice before booking this place!

This hotel is not 5 star. It was well overpriced and does not compare to 4 or 5 star hotels I have stayed at. The food was average and the service was non existent.
I paid almost £100 for a room service meal that was at best cafe standard. Then I asked for some tea bags for the room and the girl in the restaurant area said she would need to speak to her manager as they would need to charge for the tea bags. I only wanted 4 bags from the breakfast dining area. The tea bags were then sent to my room 8 hours later! Severely over priced hotel. I would not recommend it. It is a 3 star at best.

We didn't expect such a bad performance from a Melia 5 stars. When arriving realized that the AC doesn't go down under 21 Celsius and that there was no way to leave the fan on, it worked just in auto. Called the reception and nobody answered so decide to go downstairs. Once I told them, they said that they were taking care of some guest and couldn't answer, also that the maintenance guy left at 6:00 Pm it was 6:05 therefore needed to wait to the next day. Next day we went to Bratislava so when came back was too late to ask but nothing was fixed. 3rd day again went downstairs and they offered me to change our room, the other room was the same, no way to have keep the fan on, crazy. I swept all those 2 nights. So the guy told me he will send me a fan and that last night was \"ok\". The cherry on the cake was when I asked for a late check out and Kristina told me no prob, but when I went to do the check out, there was a line and no way to drop the keys, so when I asked her if I could just leave them, she gave me an attitude and took the keys in a bad manner. Then my daughter said that she was told by her, when we coming back that the late check out is going to be $60, I couldn’t believe it so I called the supervisor, Ahmed from the restaurant since it was the one that shows up and went downstairs with him, and yes she had charged me the $60 per room. Long story short, the lady next to her(looks like the boss) told me to forget it, that they won’t charge me anything.

The Melia is a fine establishment with much to offer its guests. I highly recommend a package with The Level access. The location in Donau City provides a nice reprieve from the business of the inner city. Although there are few points of interest around the hotel, there is easy access to transportation.

Small rooms, shower area large with black all around...not enough light for a bathroom! We had a hard time getting ready for the day. Will not recommend to anyone or stay here again.

Nothing like a five star rating this property displays. It 3 or maybe 3.5 at most. No one came to clean the room on the day before check out.
The rooms are small, shower area is large and wasted. Very dim lights in the bathroom. There was no mirror in the room or the passage. Not a very satisfying experience.

Everything is excellent to me. However, it happened once at one during I stayed. That night we all, three, slept very well. Excepted me was suffered for lower bloody oxygen due to the electrical power-off of plug-in since I wore respirator musk. I almost died at that moment. Even, I woke up finally and the risk relief. At the second day’s morning, I did report to your room service who came in to restart the electrical power. It was an bad experience first I met.

What a fabulous hotel. The room was beautiful the only criticism is that we couldn’t get the temperature below 20
The staff were very efficient and friendly . 57 lounge was a great space and we enjoyed pre dinner drinks there.
Breakfast on 57 was a little disappointing service was slow and there was no English breakfast tea
The choice for breakfast we felt was better on the ground floor .

The hotel is at a perfect location if you are going to a convention here. But it will take sometime to downtown area for food. Especially if you have jetlag and get hungry in the middle of the night, you will have to take subway to go get some food. Hotel staffs are friendly, helpful and attentive. Tables and night stands are little worn. But the rooms are very clean. Overall, it's not a bad experience.

The staff are very nice - no complaints there. But a room service menu with 4 items, nothing vegetarian, nothing really edible in the building was a let down. Given the hotel is in the CBD, instead of closing their main restaurant on Sunday and Monday they should make it available as there is nothing else nearby. Do not be fooled by Donauinseln either, it’s just tourist crap in hot weather with no aircon and sun beating down. I booked for 4 nights and we left after 2 moving to the Hilton, which is closer to real restaurants and cafes, museums, etc, cheaper, and nicer. We gave them the room back 2 days early and asked if they could please reimburse the 4th night given they had no food we could eat but they refused. They did let us off on mini bar items, which was nice but I would have preferred something for dinner rather than Pringles and sparkling water. In addition, the carpet in the room was old and filthy. It used to be close to shag and now matted down and dirty. Oh and there is no way to watch the TV - from the bed or the couch! And of course no movies or content worth watching!

I stayed here for a business trip and while the hotel is clean and the rooms are big, I would never recommend staying here. There is a constant \"clanging\" noise, partly from the construction on every side of the building but also the expansion/contraction of the building itself makes a loud bang every few minutes at night. We changed rooms and it was the same noise in the new room on the opposite side of the building as well.

Our neighbors had a party the last two nights we were there until 1 a.m., we asked the front desk 5 times in one night to do something about it and they refused. When we went to the desk in person, they laughed at us for complaining about it - we had a flight to catch at 3 a.m. which was apparently quite funny to them.

AVOID THIS HOTEL, not 5 star value

Very bad service and this hotel is far from 5 star.
No restaurant open on Sunday, only room service. Called for a few items to eat just before 8PM after 10:45PM still no food. Called three times and they said it comes in 10 minutes.
Carpet in the room very dirty, full of stains. And this for a relatively new hotel building.

My overall advise is to not stay here. The bed is uncomfortable, the mattresses are covered in unhygienic plastic/rubber wrap, the pillows are ridiculous and the ac blows on your bed so you get sick, shower pressure could be better and the room makes squeaky noises when it is windy outside. I generally avoid Spainish hotel brands and will continue to do so as they are hopeless.

The staff however is amazing (front desk, concierge and waiters)

Such a pitty that the architecture and interior design of the rooms is a display of total incompetence

Really nice hotel with a lovely room view. I'm not sure about covid-19 restrictions, but I think hotel is abusing them a bit: very limited room service menu, no bathroom amenities (except those screwed to the wall in the shower). On the other side, if you go to the level 57 restaurant or lounge you can buy plenty of meals and lovely dishes. Looks like covid-19 doesn't affect level 57. Also please be careful what staff is offering to you... ideally get that on paper because during the checkout they might charge you for things previously offered for free.

The hotel is lovely but not In the centre. However, it is a quick metro ride into the centre or an easy Uber. Staff were great the whole time, from the concierge to the front desk to the room service guy. The room was lovely and spacious with great amenities and a river view but lacked any feeling to it (a few prints on the walls would help that a lot). Also, huge bed - which was lovely - but a bit bare when it came to how it was dressed and lack cushion volume. Really nothing major though. We upgraded so had the “level” access which gives you free access to a bar and canapés on the 57th floor - well worth it as get to play “cocktail” and the canapés were really good. Room service menu was decent (although not extensive). Would go back as didn’t get to see the fitness area and restaurant properly.

Walking distance to a train station but outside of the main centre. Rooms were comfy but weirdly had a glass shower wall from which you could see into. I have no idea why hotels do this, not everyone travels with their partner. There was a blind so it was fine, just an odd choice of room design. Friendly staff and confortable room.

The hotel is amazing, and it's only six stops from the city centre. I highly recommend it. Two little negative notes: the absence of slippers in the room and in the whole hotel, the absence of camomilla. However, two small things that didn't touch the beauty, the cleanliness of the hotel.

This is a beautiful property and a good location. However the staff are a bit hapless and there are numerous minority annoying things for a hotel of this price and level.

Aircon in the room is fixed at 21 so if you like it a bit cooler then that’s not an option.

Annoying lift system and to access their level lounge you need to go down to the ground floor then take another elevator up with two swipe cards involved.

My door lock wasn’t working, three days and six new cards before they changed the battery in the door to fix it. Also this mean the room wasn’t serviced as the cleaners couldn’t get in either. Staff treated me like I didn’t know how to use a swipe card at one point.

Rooms are great and well maintained. But they are getting some of the basics wrong which made it an overall annoying experience.

Doubtful I’d stay here or at this brand again.

These are all first world problems, however for the pice you would expect a better experience.

Stayed four nights, two of the nights which is exactly half my stay, my room was not visited by housekeeping, even though I did also put in the tag on the door that specifies “make up room“
I brought the concern to the attention of the housekeeping supervisor, both times she apologize. My room was not made up on till I called them right around 6 o’clock on the first night and 4 PM on the second night.
Furthermore, I did place the card on the bed to have the sheets changed and on the first night they did not do that either. Overall the housekeeping service is extremely disorganized and run poorly. The hotel otherwise is great but I feel that the basic necessities of a hotel operation including daily room service/cleaning services are not met.

This is definitely a business hotel and located outside of Wein but is close to the metro which is clean and convenient. The staff were kind and the room was clean although the bed was seriously the hardest I’ve ever slept in and the tv didn’t work properly even after the technician came to fix it. The blackout curtains were great but honestly that’s the only positive thing about the room as I expect cleanliness from a 5 star hotel
