The switch inside the entry door seemed to have no function. There was no soap dish, (the sink was very nice!) the bathroom door was stained and water damaged; areas, especially by the elevator, had peeling paint, the front trash receptacle was overflowing when we checked in and checked out. The staff was very nice, very friendly. The breakfast was not as good as other Baymonts we have stayed at.

It was a cozy place with elevator and steps, no smoking with a hundred dollar deposit forfeited if room was messed up. The breakfast was boiled eggs, waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal with milk, coffee, and bagels/muffins. No tea or lemon seen, pretty much a credible meal.

After reading the reviews, we were apprehensive to stay here. Once we got out of the car, we noticed a group of well dressed, put together individuals. While checking in, we overheard them discussing how this hotel is a place for unhoused people to stay during their transition to get back on their feet. Just an FYI. Beyond this, we received our keys and rode the kind-of-janky elevator to the third floor. We got into our room and did our inspection to ensure there were no cameras, bugs, etc. Thankfully, we saw nothing of the sort. However, we noticed our window cracked. Hotel windows aren't supposed to open. Needless to say, we used our luggage and the ironing board to ensure no one was able to come in while we slept. We did this both nights we stayed. The hotel is in the sort of ghetto. Not truly, but not super safe area either. I was just thankful we had a place to lay our heads at night and that there weren't bugs or cameras.

Had to call front desk with noise complaints 2 nights in a row. One at midnight and one at 2am. Both times it took 30 minutes to resolve. Also had issues with getting in my room. Had to wiggle the handle just right and apply pressure to the door as I was putting my card key in. The deadbolt didn’t work either. That’s a shame too, because the first time I stayed here was great. However, that was on the 3rd floor where the rooms are inside and everything looks more renovated . Would not advise staying on the 1st and 2nd floors.

We pulled into the lot after realizing we were not in a good part of town. The hotel looked run down and old and was in what looked like an unsafe area. We made a reservation at another hotel while in the parking lot. We didn’t get out of the car. From the Hotels.com site, the hotel looked to be okay. Boy were we surprised. Requested refund since we never checked in. Denied. Very displeased w all services associated w use of Hotels.com and appearance of hotel. Will not use this site again.

Our door also didnt lock properly. The manager came right over to look, and we had to push down on the door to get it to lock.

The man who checked us in was rude. Our room smelled like a moldy basement. There was a huge roach in our room. When we left the hotel, there were police officers going through the dumpsters. Horrible experience! We could not get away fast enough!

What I didn’t like about the room the bottom lock would not lock and the maintenance man said ohhh that can’t be fix. I actually told him it needed to be fixed when I got back I can’t sleep in this room like this. He only fixed it because the door nob came from when leaving out of them room they wouldn’t give me another room because I already used it. Bad business!

I had an event in Charlotte and needed a room. I must say for the price and convenience this was an excellent stay. The rooms were clean (kinda smelt like a burnt blunt) the lobby n cafeteria were clean n stylish and the staff was friendly n helpful. For what it is, this was a fantastic stay. I would highly recommend staying here.

If you’re just looking for a place to crash between an evening concert at PNC and a morning of Top Golf, this place fits the bill, especially if you are young, not overly picky, and/or strapped for cash. Both PNC and Top Golf are conveniently located nearby. If you don’t mind a little dirt in the corners of the bathroom floor or broken glass in the parking lot, book away. If, on the other hand, your kids might say something like “really, daddy?” and your wife is likely to retort with something like “don’t look at me; daddy booked it”, then you might want to rethink your booking or, better yet, defer the task to your better half altogether.

The room we had in the motel was VERY clean and set up perfectly. This was a bit of a surprise since the hallway to our room was kind of dirty and the carpet was very worn. The desk personal were very inviting and the check in and check out were easy and fast. The FREE breakfast was very good, about average for a motel. If we need a motel in this area again we WILL DEFINATELY use this motel.

Apparently a handicap accessible room has different meanings. The room that was 6 doors down was at the end of the hall. The accessible bathroom was just bigger. No grab bars for the toilet or the step up shower. Also they didn’t even provide any tissues to blow your nose.

It's one of those \"get what you pay for\" hotels. I booked a 1 King bedroom for just myself for 1 night, and it was pretty clean, despite what some other reviews say. There were no bugs at all, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and simple. I didn't receive an ear-to-ear \"smiley welcome\" like I would from a guy in a suit at a Marriott, but like I said, you get what you pay for. I only needed to speak to the staff twice; to check in and check out, and when I did, both employees were friendly. There is a $100 hold like the other reviews say upon check-in for a security deposit, but it's fully refundedable if your room is left in good standing. Would book again for a simple, 1 night stay! 👍

My husband and I stay here every time we come to town for a concert. Always sleep great in the beds if you prefer a firm one which we do. Friendly staff, and currently remodeling and doing good.

Absolutely horrible this place is not updated. Please do not book based on pictures. Those photos are old. The building was not secure as the exit doors didn’t even have locks on them see right through the hole. The carpet and walls was dirty. Although the air was the only thing that properly worked in the building. My car was hit in the parking lot and staff said manager was out of town when asked for them to play back camera so an incident report could be made. Homeless people sleeping near hotel outside on old couches. Key card had to be taken back three times due to not working. They gave each day 3 towels when they cleaned room when it was 5 of us. Would not give extra pillows one per person. The free breakfast was the only thing half decent but very slim options.

Charged a bill without notifying the customer. I have to spend couple of days finding where is the pending bill from. The stay in this place was the worst in my life. The hall way to the room smelled so funny. The picture mislead the customer. It is like a nightmare. Don't recommend it at all.

Hotel is right off the interstate. There was a homeless camp set up behind a restaurant that you passed by going to the hotel but I never had any issues or felt unsafe. Lobby is updated & very clean. Continental breakfast was good. Staff are also very friendly. Getting off the elevator on the 3rd floor there was a smell that was between carpets that had been peed on & burnt popcorn & the carpet looked dirty. However, the room had newer carpet & was very clean. Overall I was satisfied with the stay & would stay there again if needed to.
