All I can say is if you’ve never had the experience at the Ritz Carlton? You need to have one! Yes, I tipped everybody at least 10 bucks for everything they did for me, but you know what?

They treated my lady like royalty and they treated me the same way. I have never felt more important for being just an average guy in my life. This was a celebration of my girlfriend‘s divorce after three years, and yes, we definitely bougie it up! The staff made the room all romantic for me while we were out to dinner and surprised her as she walked through the door. Pretty much you ask them to do anything and will bend over backwards to make sure that they get it done.

Terribly noisy. Couldn’t get a good nights rest due to the loud noise. Our room faced the street, but even on the highest floor, the noise was still unbearable. For over $600 a night, this I was definitely not worth it. The staff is very kind and the Punch Bowl is a great lounge bar.

This was my first time staying at the Ritz and will be my last. I was really disappointed in this stay. I stayed for 2 nights for work and wanted to treat myself to a luxury experience. Firstly, I was placed in a room I didn’t book. The room was fine but it was really dated. The remotes to the TVs are not responsive. The phone didn’t work. There was some sound coming from the vent and I didn’t get any sleep. One of my room service orders was completely wrong. I just expected better. The Ivys down the street is so much better

The hotel asked what time I would be arriving and I told them 2PM. I arrived at 2 and they said they would let me know and they guaranteed 4PM check in. I saw people come straight in and get their room. I asked again at 4:30 and they said they would let me know when it was ready. I had to fuss, after they told me it was first come, first serve and I told them I saw people come in and get their room. I finally got another room. I got a text at 7:48 saying my room original room was ready. My concert started at 4. Horrible experience!!

Only real issue was the fact that we got little sleep due to noise from the street. Cars racing, people yelling, sirens, gunshots. Such a shame as our room was beautifull and the facilities and staff were top notch.

We checked and were told that we had to wear a mask at all times in the hotel so if you are tired of wearing a mask don’t go there
I went into the men’s restroom in the lobby define for men’s toilets full of human waste and no one seem to have told the hotel that you can’t flush the toilet‘s in the lobby
If you do stay there you turn off the bedroom lights by reaching down behind the nightstand and finding a plug on the cord by the ground and turning the light off that way very inconvenient and not very practical
The staff were very pleasant but I don’t think the management of this Ritz Carlton is up to the brand name

Ritz-Carlton outdated linen and hidden fees

I had a wonderful stay for my birthday. The staff and service was impeccable. My only complaint is about the bed linen and robe. The bedding and the in-room robe were very worn and old. Also, they did not have a fresh smell. The king bed had a mattress topper that was too small and lumpy. I also feel that certain fees are hidden. For example, I had breakfast for two included in my stay for two nights, but no one explained that there was a credit limit of $60 per day. I was not aware of this and it costed me an extra $70 in charges that was sprung on me at check out. I would like to be compensated for that.

The epitome of service!!!

The staff and the service were Amazing. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our stay memorable. Every request was met attention to detail. It was as if the staff could predict what we would need next and it was provided. I mentioned in a brief conversation that one of my children suffer from a nut allergy. I did not request the accommodation but noticed all snacks and food in his area had been pre screened to make sure he did not have an accidental exposure. I will definitely return.

I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton with my bridesmaids and we were absolutely STUNNED by the care and attention everyone showed us. The room was fabulous, and the pastry chef, Hannah, organized the most thoughtful setup of treats and gifts for my party. We were so impressed by the good vibes and amazing hospitality. The indoor pool overlooking Uptown Charlotte was the icing on the cake! Can’t wait to stay here again!!

Make a Country Girl Feel Like a Princess

My plans were a last minute, \"ahh ha\" moment, on a mid morning Friday! A make up Valentine's Date with my wife, since I was called out of State on a family medical emergency.
From the moment I drove in (Valet's), I was in the utmost shock. The respect, dignity, politeness, helpfulness...the whole nine yards that the staff greeted me was AMAZING!!! Made this ol' country girl in blue jeans and a t-shirt feel like a princess.
They made my wife cry twice that night. The welcoming cake, chocolates and wine to the after dinner rose petals on the bed.

This was a beautiful hotel. I enjoyed the dark, moody aesthetic. We were not impressed with the service compared to another Ritz Carlton we had stayed at. The doormen did not acknowledge us or attempt to open doors, and the front desk staff was rude and acted as if we were going to skip out when our credit card was declined. Our card had been hacked a few days prior, so we gave them a new card at check in, but they never switched it over. When the old card was declined, they were very rude about it. We still enjoyed our stay, and the hotel itself is a beautiful, clean place in a great location... It just wasn't what we expected from this brand service-wise.

Let me preface this by saying that I've stayed in a few 5 Star hotels, so I have a pretty good idea of what to expect. This was my first stay at a Ritz-Carlton however, and it will be my last. The staff were courteous, but not enthusiastic. The \"deluxe\" room was dark, cramped and looked nothing like the pictures shown here. There was no soundproofing whatsoever. Not only could I hear the concert in the nearby stadium as if I was there, I heard every door that opened and closed along the hall. Room service was prompt, the servers were friendly and the food was fantastic. That was the highlight of my stay. When I called down for my car in the morning, they couldn't find it. Yes, they actually lost my car. It had not been parked in the proper space by the valet the night before, apparently. And when they finally found it and brought it around, not a single word of apology was uttered, by anyone. Last but not least, when I finally got home, I realized that I had left my laptop behind. (That's an understandable oversight when you're worried about your lost car.) The hotel generously offered to ship it to me, at my expense. Overall, the food was excellent. Everything else was a disaster. Save yourself hundreds of dollars and just eat at the restaurant.

I had BIG expectations for this hotel as I've always wanted to stay at a Ritz Carlton.
Although, there is nothing negative to say about this hotel or my stay, it didn't meet my crazy expectations. I have stayed at Omni's and Four Seasons that had more of a wow factor. Now possibly there are other Ritz-Carlton's that are nice than this one but for this specific location, it was very nice but nothing to brag about.
I always love a nice robe and slippers in my room (this one had robes but no slippers) and good coffee. This had a nice Nespresso machine and a fabulous (for fee) mini-bar.

Had a slumber party for my daughters 11th birthday here and it was an amazing and memorable experience for both her and her friends. Tiffany, our guest relations concierge, was super helpful in setting things up beforehand and making sure that we were comfortable. Dealing with and pleasing all of these girls was not an easy task but the Ritz made it seamless!! Thanks to everyone who made this special for my girl! We will be doing this again for my younger daughter when she turns 11!! Thanks again!!

Me and my 9 year old son ended up staying at the Charlotte Ritz because we had a horrible experience with AA, from which we lost our connection to Rome.
We arrived late at night on a Friday night. The hotel was booming with music and people. From the moment the ladies saw us, they took care of us. Miss Veda Payton went out of her way to make us feel at home. She went beyond duty to help us. So thank you and all the staff at the Ritz for your kind help and service.

Stayed here for a recent stay-cation, and keep coming back. Loved the spa, the vibe at the lobby bar with live music, great on-site restaurant (STK), indoor pool, and The Punch Room on the 15th floor is a spectacular place for a cocktail. Best of all is the service. I was able to check in early, and was surprised by a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and kind note congratulating me on celebrating a work success. Also, it's beautiful at Christmas!

Worth the cost; Check-in delay was the problem

The hotel is fantastic & the stay ended up being delightful, though I had my doubts at the onset. Our room was not ready at check-in, or even for quite sometime after the usual check-in time. The main problem was that we had dinner reservations for 6 PM so our time for waiting was limited. Though the staff did offer us the use of a room to change clothes, we sis not want to go through process of getting luggage from bell staff only to send it back until our room was ready, The manager did comp our drinks in the lounge while we waited, which was nice. Finally, they said our room was ready; however, when we got to our suite there was a king bed & a pull out couch which was not the two bed suite for four adults that we had reserved, We did not want the discomfort of a pull out couch, especially since we had reserved a suite w/ two beds. In order to resolve the issue as I guess our original room was still occupied, the manager comped us an additional regular room for use in addition to our suite. So it all worked out & the remainder of our stay was what one would expect from this 5-star hotel

We stayed here for two nights for our prehoneymoon stay. We asked the hotel staff to decorate the room prior to our arrival. Upon entering our room we quick realized that they had forgotten about the soul reason for our stay. They attempted to make up for it by decorating while we were out for dinner.

I loved the Bar Coca! They have great chocolates and gelato. We made good use of the gym and the pool for late night swimming.

The valet service was quick and speedy.

A 5 stars hotel ?? Not even 3! Small rooms, just one restaurant with very limited choices, closed a 10PM sharp. No exceptions, even if you traveled 19 hours by car escaping from the hurricane Irma! No breakfast buffet. No brunch on Sunday. The reception is so dark that you need a flash light to go around if you do not wish to fall between low dark tables.
