The room was dirty,previous occupant had used the bath with purple shampoo left all over the wall,old tissues on the floor and under the desk was full of fuff and dust never cleaned, the shower hel was an empty bottle with no lid or pump just fastened to the wall and the tea tray look dirty with no tea spoons.
I complained at reception and the receptionist said while I had been out it had been sorted, the dust under the table had gone and the shower gel filled but nothing else..

Internet almost didn’t reach the room. Staff were rude and appeared to have friends sat in the lobby, the first room I was given had visibly not been visited by house keeping as towels and old key card were out and the bed was a mess. When I got to the new room the chair was missing an arm and had wood protruding from where the arm would be attached and there was some kind of food smudged up the inside of the door. Terrible, nothing like the photos, as the room cleanliness was so poor I chose not to risk using the gym or pool.

On arrival greeted by a phone number to get staff member, bathroom shower was mixer tap but got a kink and wouldnt work properly, bugs in the bath, worse part was window was open with no handle to close it, room was freezing.
Breakfast was advertised on the web as £27 for 2, in hotel £11 each, we past. People smoking in another room on route down in the morning. We wont be back.

We were there about 25 minutes before leaving and booking another hotel. We had 2 rooms booked for 2 nights, both TVs were broken, the heating wasn't working in one room. Both bathrooms were dirty with nothing in them. And it had advertised a bar and restaurant but it had neither.

The staff were so lovely, welcoming, and helpful on arrival. The hotel has recently gone under renovation, the hallways are still a bit retro but the rooms are updated and extemely spacious, perfect if you need to repack a suitcase before flying!

The bed was Huge and very comfy, and the bathroom was lovely. The towels were actually a decent size too. I requested a room with a bath and my request was fulfilled .

The only thing i suggest is calling ahead to ask about parking charges.

To the hotel - if you are a guest of the hotel parking really should be complimentary or at least a discounted rate.
The car park could also do with some lighting as it is very dark, especially in winter months.

The way that the hotel is advertised is not actually what you get. It was very cheap to book a room for a night and it was clean, we slept well and in a nice quiet area. However, there is no bar, no restaurant and it is quite run down. It looks like it was turned over to another owner and they are struggling to run the hotel the way they want to. There was only one person on duty at the front desk; the lift was not working; the room was quite meagre. There is a pervasive smell of mildew in the reception. Also, do not expect an airport shuttle - you will need to get an Uber between £15-25 to the airport.

Overall, perfectly serviceable for a single night stay before your flight.

Absolutely awful experience! Stayed for 1 night as had a flight to catch the next day. Got to the hotel at 4:30pm got given a room that hadn’t even been cleaned even though check in was at 3pm all whilst having to carry a 22kg suitcase up 4 flights of stairs. Asked the cleaner how long the wait would be for the room and she said 20 minutes, which I wasn’t happy about after travelling for 4 hours and as stated before the room should of been ready at 3pm. Carried the suitcase back down to the reception where the man on the desk told me the room was ready and I had to explain that it wasn’t, he then made us wait in the lobby and came back less than 5 minutes later telling me it was now ready, I wasn’t happy as I knew it hadn’t been cleaned properly. I asked him to change my room, after a bit of back of fourth we got a new room. This room wasn’t very clean and the shower didn’t even work. Spoke to the man on the desk again and asked for another new room. He then came back and tried to give me the same room he tried giving me the first time which still wasn’t cleaned. Again after a bit of back and fourth, he changed our room and we had to wait again for it to be cleaned. Finally we had a room but I was not happy. Absolutely awful experience and definitely would never return or recommend to anyone. The staff weren’t really bothered and took us far too long to finally get a room.

I booked this hotel on 1 December for a stay on 15 December. Despite the listing stating that check-in was available at any time, when we arrived at around 9–10 pm we were told there was no room available for us.

The reception staff stated that our booking had been cancelled and that I should have received a notification. This did not happen. I received no email, message, or notification of any cancellation. We were then informed that due to an electricity issue the hotel could not accommodate us and were instructed to rebook another hotel ourselves via Expedia, despite the late hour.

Only after insisting on speaking to a manager were we offered a room with electricity, although it had no working shower. At that point, finding alternative accommodation was not realistic, leaving us with no real choice.

We paid in full for a confirmed booking yet the hotel failed to provide the agreed accommodation and attempted to shift responsibility onto the guest. The service was unprofessional and the handling of the situation was unacceptable.

I would strongly advise others not to stay at this hotel.

There was no airport shuttle service…I was told to download the uber app! There wasn’t any food available when I arrived at 7pm as I was told there wasn’t a restaurant so I had to go to the local Tesco. So I’m not sure how breakfast could be served and I left too early to find out. The room was inexpensive and served a purpose for my travel to the airport.

Hotel needs complete refurbishment. No shuttle or bus or taxi service to the airport. Should not be called an airport hotel. Thick layer of dust on top of headboard. Some of the lights were not working. No spare bulbs. No lounge, bar or restaurant. Bed was comfortable and shower worked. That was the best you could say about it. Bath towels were thin. Hand towels non- existent. Bedroom furniture chipped and worn.

On arrival we were put on the 4th floor lift was not working and we had to carry our luggage up the most horrible smell in the stair way. when we got to the room there were 2 single beds put together, and no running water in the bathroom, we were then put in a 2nd bedroom and that was the same no water!!!! By this time I was fuming staff were not very helpful and did not care we were put in a different bedroom after an hour of settling in it took about half an hour to run a bath the water was trickling!!!!! Then we were woken up to a loud bang the tv surrounding had come of the wall. Would not recommend this property at all to stay !!!!!😢 I think one star would be overrated for this place and for the price I have stayed in better quality for less

When we had entered the building there was a hand written sign on the door saying they were overbooked and to claim a refund. The side door was forced open by someone who had been waiting for 20 mins already. No staff was in the building, garbage was left on tables, and more people were coming in to a place with no help or answers. We were left with nowhere to sleep and it being too late to find another hotel due to the time waited trying to figure this situation out. Outside of this, the hotel is in a disgusting state with a foul smell and left like it’s been abandoned for years. This hotel should be shut down.

On the 4th-5th December 2025 I was pre booked into your establishment. Arriving after midnight following a stressful and lengthy journey I found a badly scrawled piece of torn paper greeting me on the hotel doorway. It informed me that due to overbookings, no rooms were available. I knew that in this modern age of high tec, this message simply couldn't be true and the only possible answer for the scrawled message was that it was a prank or poor joke stuck on the doorway. Heading inside to reception I found no sign of life. I hammered on office doors and still no employee came to assist. The longer I sought out any staff the more bewildering the whole episode became. I am well travelled across a career of over 50 years staying in hotels across the world. I have never in my whole life experienced anything that comes close to what I found in your hotel.
I was too tired to risk getting back in the car to drive to a professional establishment and so decided to find a chair and attempt to sleep for a few hours to refresh myself. Firstly, I found a toilet next to the reception and stepped inside to relieve myself and wash up. As the light came on I was appalled to see the state of the room. Toilet paper littering the floor along with dust and filth. The toilet seat was covered in faeces and the toilet itself blocked. The smell in the room was hideous. Leaving the room I wandered round the downstairs area finding litter of allsorts and general garbage and dirt across the whole area.

The ground floor rooms were fine, clean and showed signs of being refubished. However there were issues. I had to ask for tea bags and there was no water in the hot tap of the shower. The grounds and the rest of the hotel were in need of refubishment and care.
There was no resturant which i new beforehand which turned out to be a problem for me (no cafes open Sunday morning and no eating places locally Saturday evening) but that was my fault. It would be helpful to know that when booking.
The receptionist was on his 2nd day so was unable to have any local info.

*****AVOID ***** After waiting for 25 minutes, someone eventually attended the reception desk. Then waited another 25 mins while they checked my room was cleaned.... At 10pm!
Heating was on full with no way if turning it off. Even with windows open it was too hot to sleep (-3 outside) TV in the room, but no remote, kettle in the room, but no cups, tea, coffee or anything else. Bathroom was very dirty, carpet hadn't been vacuumed, plug sockets hanging off the wall, and the manager, who was pretending not to be the manager told me \"the manager had dismissed all staff.\" This place is finished. The place smells of cigarette smoke and is grimey throughout. And I will be asking for a refund before they run out of money.

I had the worst experience with my companion during our attempted check-in the other night.After a long and tiring journey, we arrived at the hotel expecting a clean and comfortable room. Unfortunately, what we encountered was completely unacceptable. Upon checking in, we were given our room key, only to find the room dirty, with an unmade bed, towels on the floor, and clear signs it had not been serviced. I immediately returned to the front desk and instead of receiving an apology or proper assistance, I was simply handed another key. To my surprise and disappointment, the second room was in the exact same condition—dirty, unprepared, and completely unfit for guests. I have never experienced anything like this in any hotel. What made the situation even worse was the unapologetic and indifferent attitude of the staff. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused, no attempt to resolve the issue professionally, and no concern for our comfort. Due to the poor condition of the rooms and the staff’s lack of care, we had no choice but to leave the hotel and find alternative accommodation at that time, which was stressful and inconvenient.

No staff just one guy behind the desk having an argument with a prostitute who was argumenting for.payment ,its sound like a movie but is true, i turned up with my wife and kids to what was supposed to be a 4star hotel but this is no longer a hotel but a brothel ,no staff anywhere no bar no spa no pool it was very sketchy and not a safe place to stay.

Rooms were supposed to be ready by 3pm, got there at 4:30pm and the rooms weren’t ready despite having a booking and we were not given an estimated time as to when they would be available. The reception area stinks. The room was dirty; hair in the bed; tape under the bathroom door causing us to get stuck having to pull tape off to get out; glasses in the room were unclean; says free wifi in every room but had no internet or service at all. 24 hour reception yet no one at the desk when leaving. We found receptionist unhelpful and unapologetic upon arrival.

The hotel was in a poor state and neglected. It was unprofessionally managed. The lift was not in use so access to rooms was extremely compromised. The room was tatty, dusty behind bedside tables and holes and nails in the walls with missing pictures. There was no remote for the tv but one was provided when asked for at the main desk.
The bathroom had two dead flies on the bath, no toilet roll and an unemptied bin with used sanitary products in it! This was reported to management but nothing done at the time. We had to go to the main desk for toilet roll - no phones in the room or means of communication with the reception.
There was a strong smell of weed in the corridors at times.
This was a last minute emergency booking late evening. The bedding was clean and fresh on the surface of things so we stayed for a minimum amount of time.
We reported the issues to the staff at reception who wrote them down and we suggested they look at the rota of cleaning staff who were responsible for room 418.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

It’s like a place it’s been banned whatever you seen a picture is nothing near for the money you pay it’s like you’re sleeping under the bridge but it’s not about money. It’s about a real reality. The truth what you provide is terrible very terrible. It’s like a place you’ve been bundled for years stinks of horrible of mole of dumb of everything of dirt no bar no food no water. Nothing you have to go to shop on middle of night, if you’re thirsty and the Servis just a poor lady sitting on a desk all day all night.

I could not stay in this hotel had to walk away and stay and get another hotel. The lobby was smelly with mould, paint peeling off the walls. Do not stay here it’s not fit for purpose

No spoon for making drinks, no hairdryer, no coat hangers. Bedding & towels were clean but room was very dirty, skirting boards, headboard etc were covered in thick dust and drink stains on walls and skirting board, nothing a good clean wouldn’t rectify as reception area lured you into a false sense as the rooms did not reflect and not a Hallmark hotel as pictures although noting it did not say hallmark on the description so probably used an old photo.

Disgusting dirty Property we could not stay there and we did not stay there. I asked for a refund. They told me to speak to Expedia and I don’t know how to contact Expedia by phone.

Didnt stay this was a derelict hotel, filthy dirty, shower full of hairs and scum and very scary for a woman travelling alone on business with strange men wandering about. The photos are out of date on hotels.com and this is a disgrace

On arrival we thought we had booked the wrong hotel as it looked closed as there was a lot of fencing and debris outside the hotel. The receptionist was very welcoming and said the hotel was just opening after a period of closure and asylum residents. There was no bar or restaurant or facilities. We also paid £5 for car park as advertised but were then told we did not need to pay. The beds were comfortable but the bathroom dirty and had a leak. To be honest the hotel should not be selling rooms yet.
