No help on accidental booking
Accidentally booked wrong dates as for some reason when i pressed book it changed dates to May from April. Contacted hotels .com didn’t get far with it. Lost the £82 paid for this and then had to rebook to have correct dates. I informed hotels.com straight away but still no refund on accidental wrong dates that have been booked 😔 really disappointed by this

We did not stay at this hotel, the room was too small and felt like a closet.

So we didn’t expect much from an F1; you get what you pay for. But we have stayed in other F1s before, which were much better. Half the toilets were out of action. I imagine poor drainage as by the end of the day the showers were flooded and dirty. No air/con.
However it is only a 10 minute walk to Pringy train station which is one stop from Annecy and therefore easy to get around from if you don’t have a car.

The place is alright for an overnight on a trip, but not the kind of hotel to spend much time in it.

More hostel (student diggs) than hotel
It's like a hostel, most guests are seemingly seasonal workers, as it's a convenient location. Strange experience for a hotel, as it's communal bathrooms and toilets - didn't use the bathroom in the end, as it's all wet and I didn't feel comfortable with the set-up. You get what you pay for... a clean bed to sleep in. There's a basin with taps in the room at least, but no English TV channels, so boring. Our biggest gripe was the cigarette smoke that filled the corridor and came into our room (especially as I have allergies), we complained, but the staff refuse to speak English, so that didn't resolve anything - very unhelpful. Next morning, we saw all the cigarette buts that's been flicked onto our car from a window above - guessing that was the room who's occupants smoked, despite it being a non-smoking hotel. Did quite like the doorcode instead of key set-up, that's quite clever.

Budget hotel with good location
There was still someone at the reception when we arrived even though it was 2 am and the confirmation stated that the reception closes at 9 so I was very happy to find someone still there. He was pleasant, helpful and spoke English. The location is also great very close to Annecy with free parking on site. However, the reason I would not recommend this hotel is because the whole place smelt of cigarette smoke. Even though our reservation was for a non-smoking room it was obvious that people had been smoking there, which is a big shame and greatly affects my feeling of comfort, the other thing that lets this place down is the bathroom facility. I could accept the fact that the bathrooms are outside the rooms, for this price that's ok but the bathrooms were dirty and there were bugs on the floor. A big deep clean would do wonders and perhaps installing smoke detectors would also help.

Basic, but good value-for-money and well-located
Hotel F1 is basic, but the rooms are clean, unlike some 4* hotels I've stayed in. The toilets and showers are separate, making it more like a hostel than hotel. Though the water is hot and they were always available when required, they could do with a deep clean, or even better, a refurb. The staff were really helpful. The rooms were cosy overnight, so although our rad wouldn't go on, we were warm enough. Bunk beds made for a bit of an adventure in our mid-30s! ;) Well-located for Geneva commute, Annecy and into mountains for cheaper ski option. Free wifi was reliable and streamed video.

Mais concernant la chambre ; malheureusement il faisait beaucoup trop chaud et le manque de climatisation était vraiment un point faible mais le point vraiment négatif est le cafard que j’ai trouvé dans le lit en pleine nuit… ça m’a réveillé , j’ai cru que je me faisait piqué par des moustiques mais c’était un cafard, vraiment horrible… du coup je n’ai pas dormi de la nuit…

Séjour horrible, je n’est pas du tout été satisfait. Des mon arrivée vers 15h personne n’était présent à l’accueil. Le réceptionniste a donné ma réservation que j’avais payé en amont à quelqu’un d’autre… Il à fallut que je me bataille pour trouver une solution car le réceptionniste voulait me refaire payer pour une chambre. C’était vraiment invraisemblable, il ont aucun bon sens, c’était une situation très genante pour moi … Je suis resté 2 nuit il a réussi a changer le code d’accès à ma chambre 2 fois, donc impossible de rentrer dans ma chambre seul…

I booked the F1 Annecy in Argonay through Expedia for a room with a bathroom at a higher price for 4 nights. On the day I checked in, the room had no bathroom, was small, and dirty! The walls were moldy, the mirror was broken, and the entire room smelled of dampness! I complained and said this was not the room I had booked and that it needed to be changed immediately. They told me I had to take the issue up with Expedia because their page showed something different! I was extremely angry, and Expedia shamelessly said there were no cancellations and they wouldn’t refund my money! The hotel spoke to me and said they would give me a room with a bathroom the next day, but I had to pay an extra 30 euros! I have no choice but to accept because my money won’t be refunded. However, I have to spend one night in a moldy room, and I have severe allergies—if I get sick, I will immediately file a written complaint! This hotel is terrible in terms of cleanliness, and the health department should investigate this matter! I demand compensation for the physical and emotional distress caused to me.\"

Le pire hôtel de tous les temps, j'ai jamais imaginé qu'un auberge de jeûnesse pourra avoir un plus grand comfort qu'un hôtel. Les toillettes sont catastrophiques. La chambre est tellement basique que vous n'aurez même pas un petit frigo.

I resepsjonen kunne de ikke finne bestillingen våres og påstod den var borte. Vi fikk bare 1 rom isteden for 2 rom som vi hadde bestilt. Veldig dårlig luft på rommet. Dusj og toalett i gangen. Da vi skulle ha frokost ppstod de at vi bare hadde betalt for 1 person (hadde betalt for 5 personer).

Enkle, men greie nok rom. Felles toaletter på gangen. Minus vask. Spritholder på veggen på noen, men disse var tomme. Spurte om etterfyll, men de hadde ikke. Veldig stort minus. Alltid litt våte sprutflekker på toalettskål. Mulig vatn som skvatt opp ved skylling? Hyggelig personale. Enkel, men grei frokost. Bra renhold på rom og i resepsjon hvor frokosten var.

Bon séjour, dans la chambre on entend les bruits du couloir mais on est très bien accueillis, et pour quelques nuits au vu du prix c’est tout à fait correct. On n’est vraiment pas loin d’annecy, c’est une adresse très pratique

nous sommes arrives a l hotel accueil tres bien et je mettais tromper sur le nombre de personnes l hotesse nous a attribue une chambre pour couple et non pour 3 ils sont tres avenants repondaient a nos questions et petits dejeuners copieux pour l hygiene il n y a rien a redire j y retourne cela fait plusieurs annees et ca ne me ferait rien d y revenir sans hesiter

O hotel parece um hostel ruim. Tudo é super apertado, escuro e úmido. Quando chegamos havia muita sujeira e um grande amontado de roupas para lavar nos corredores. Peguei o quarto mais caro com banheiro, que pelas fotos parecia bem razoável, mas na verdade ele era super pequeno, úmido e estava com um cheiro muito forte de produto de limpeza. Experiência muito ruim. Recomendo usar outras opções.

Hôtel pratique uniquement pour dormir et le prix est plus que correct. Je le déconseille cependant pour un séjour car l'espace y est très petit pour circuler dans la chambre, douches communes si on ne possède pas de salle de bain privée. De plus, l'hôtel se trouve dans une zone industrielle avec rien à proximité (mais c'est ok si on possède un véhicule car pas très loin du centre ville d'Annecy).

Enfin, après 15min, une dame aux occupations douteuses sort une chambre et s’occupe enfin de nous. Si c’était tout… 1h d’attente au total pour préparer la dite chambre, et dormir dans un placard à balais. Impossible de se retourner dans la salle de bain, j’adore ! Trêve de plaisanterie, réceptionniste à moitié endormi a 18h, très accueillant, et polis (enfin si on veut..). Des murs aussi épais que du papier… bref une description assez fidèle des F1 classiques. Nous ne renouvèlerons certainement pas l’expérience de ce genre de lieu quelque peu suspect. A fuir. Payez un peu plus cher, mais dormez en paix !!

J'ai effectué une réservation dans cet hôtel afin de passer des vacances en famille (j'ai pris la garantie remboursement.). Cependant, j'ai été positif au covid-19 avec symptômes. La plateforme hotel.com me confirme d'un remboursement mais l'hôtel refuse car J'ai dépassé la date de ma garantie de remboursement mais on décide pas d'avoir le COVID avec symptômes. J'ai envoyé le test positif à ce jour pas de remboursement. Hôtel a évité.

Les gendarmes auraient étaient les bienvenus. Inadmissible. Même si c'est un hôtel pas cher ,le service demandé doit être fourni et là, rien. Nous avons même eu peur de sortir de notre chambre pour nous rendre au sanitaire la nuit tellement il y avait du bazar. Ce n'est vraiment pas normal. La propreté laisse aussi a désirer. Chambre poussiéreuse et lavabo dans un état douteux. Les douches n'en parlons pas, nous avons trouvé des déchets a l'intérieur alors qu'il y avait un écriteau sur la porte indiquant que la douche avait été nettoyée. Une honte vraiment. Je ne recommande a personne cet hôtel. A fuir absolument
