The room could have used a better clean; there was mold in the shower and the toilet was quite dirty with no brush to clean it ourselves either. The carpets were also stained. The air conditioning did not work at all and the room was very hot. The staff was rude. When we asked for an extra towel they asked “why” and it took about three tries to get this towel. The staff seemed displeased with speaking to us at every opportunity. The train station was very close by as well as a mcdonald’s though!

Unfortunately we weren't happy with the hotel, the staff was great, very friendly and tried to accommodate us but the property is old, dated and in need of an update. It's also a little outside of the main part of the city so would take a little longer to get to and fro. We knew this going in, thought we'd be ok with but the area was a little limited on options so we moved within an hour after arriving.

Aircon in two rooms just did not work. And in a very hot summer in Paris, that's not great at all!
Just far too warm.
Staff were ok and tried to help, one more than the others, but only one room we reviewed had Aircon working after looking at a few where Aircon was just useless.
Cleanliness not great.
Breakfast very basic, but the fresh juice was good.

Convenient Hotel Location

This was a convenient hotel for its close location to Paris. We had to drop off a hire car early in the morning prior to catching the train to London. Hotel had parking and Wifi which we also required. This hotel is used by coach tour groups and buffet dinner in the restaurant was first in best dressed. Getting a drink at the bar was impossible so we gave up. Rooms small but clean. The lift broke down whilst we were there so had to use the stairs and also had some issues with room key that was finally resolved after three trips to reception.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The price was very reasonable. The room smaller than what we are used to, but I guess that is Paris, close to airport. It was clean, comfortable and very acceptable. We were too tired to go out for supper so we went to Hotel restaurant. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of offerings for a fair price with pleasant service. I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

More than a budget hotel

For the very low price I got through Expedia, even with an unexpected hit for breakfast, this was an absolute bargain, delivering quality and service way above what you would expect for the price. I pay as much for a bed and breakfast in Guildford and there is no comparison. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable. The bath is very small, but the shower is fine. There is sufficient space for clothes, good air conditioning, tea and coffee in the room. Yes, you can hear the road noise, but it is not that bad, less than you would get in Guildford in fact. I did not use the restaurant in the evening, but I did have breakfast. Maybe a little expensive, but a good selection of US/UK and European breakfasts, juices, tea and coffee. The guests were about half and half business people like me and older people who I took to be tourists. French, German and English all heard. Free WiFi really useful as well.

Clean, modern hotel in a great location. A 5 minute walk to the RER metro station then 20 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. Rooms were clean and shower was great. They have a buffet restaurant onsite but don't bother. We went at 8pm and they'd run out of most of the buffet so we opted for their very limited a la carte menu. After having to get up out of our seats to grab a waiter (totally uncaring service!) our steaks came out cold. Really awful. Instead walk across the road to bistrot d'edmond as their food and service is spectacular!

clean hotel with clean room and bathroom. but air conditions not working and if you open the window you cannot sleep for the loud noise of traffic. Night shift reception was nice and quite helpful and opposite of day shift girl who is so impolite and selfish.The hotel located far from center and quite far from metro station which you need another tram to get you there. Fresh air and nice hotel/restaurants are the good points of course.

Perfect, cheap hotel.

This hotel is perfect if it is just a bed for the night. We stayed for three nights and found the room adequate, the beds were very comfortable and the room was always tidy after a turnaround. We were out everyday exploring and only used it as a place to sleep at night and have no qualms about staying again. It is your typical cheap hotel! The only thing I would have asked for is a few international channels on the TV, most hotels seem to have atleast one or two in English, such as BBC Worldwide, and it would have been a nice added bonus.

Worth The money

The front desk people did not speak a lot of English so it was a little hard to communicate, especially when it came on how to get there from the airport. Overall, once I got there it was good. The rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms. It looked very ikea like, and simple. I liked it. It's super far from the city center which is why I probably wouldn't stay here again, overall not bad though.

For a Londoner coming to paris it was easy to understand the metro system and get to central paris from the hotel. You would appreciate how close the hotel is to the metro, like a 5 minute walk and its a direct train to places like the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame cathedral although the journey could take around 45 minutes.

We only stayed in Paris for two nights and i would recommend a hotel much closer to the city centre. The metro system is very efficient but still 20 mins from the Eiffel Tower which is only the start of the city walk. This hotel should not be advertised as Paris, the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very good for the price but the walls are hollow which means you can hear everything happening in the ha,l ways which is not ideal for a sleep in after a late night exploring the city centre!

Very pleasantly surprised. We were there to attend the Stade de France, and the proximity of excellent public transport was brilliant. The parking, welcome and general ambience of the hotel was really good and considering it is beside a busy ('cos it's Paris) road surprisingly quiet- we actually slept with the window open. Room and bed very comfortable. Wish I'd taken breakfast as it looked really good, especially sitting out in the morning sun.
Would have no hesitation in returning.

Goods and Bads mixed

This hotel has lots of goods and bads. Goods: Nice area, Food store very close, good breakfast buffet for around 10 euros, Close to train station, Close to Bus and Tram, big, clean and quiet rooms, staff very helpful with tourist info and speak good English, Internet works good in the room. Bads: Lobby closes at 11:00 PM, beds and cots are hard, toilet is in a separate room from the shower and has no window or vent of any kind (the extractor is actually in the shower area), strong smell to pain since they were painting the stairs (would get in the room when the AC is on), diner buffet is complicated with options (hot food only, cold food only, deserts buffet with food only), it took 2 days to get a garbage can (none in the room), only bath towels (they don't provide hand towels, so your towel is humid from the hands when you take a shower), few restaurants in the area. Take the bus or metro, trains are dirty and not well maintained. Take the 178 bus to the defense (takes about 40 minutes). Lots of restaurants and shops over there.

Small room but it has almost everything you need, just no fridge or microwave oven.

Convenient location with RER train station a few minutes away on foot. There is a McDonald's nearby so you can buy some breakfast there instead of having buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant, which costs Euro 10.00 per adult.

Drawback is it is a little too far away from all the scenery spots so every day it takes long time on the tranport. Make sure to get up really early to make full use of the day.

OK Hotel, Dodgy Hot Water Supply - Rust Deposits

Hotel was OK. All staff spoke some English.

Hotel seems to have had a refurbishment recently, not the best job in the world. i would say it was a cheap refurbishment.

They have an issue with the hot water supply. When you first turn it on the water comes out brown with rust deposits in it, not nice to be honest. Phoned reception and they where aware of it and advised to keep the water running for 5 - 10 mins until it ran clear. This worked but, this happened every time. Be Warned.

Restaurant was nice, Breakfast was a standard buffet and main where good home cooked foods, it was slightly pricey though for what you got.

Would not go again mainly because of the water issue. They need to look at this. Not nice.

We booked a 'triple' room. Triple as in 3 single beds. When we arrived there were only 2 single beds in the room. We asked at Reception why we had been sent to the wrong room. Apparently we hadn't; the third bed was under one of the beds. When we pointed out that the room was already very cramp with 2 beds and couldn't possibly take another bed, we were told it was a bed for a 'younger' person. That could only mean a very small child and even then they would need to sleep under a shelf! Nonetheless, we returned to the room to search for the missing bed but it wasn't there. In fairness to the staff, they then admitted they had forgotten to put the bed in the room and provided us with an additional room because of the inconvenience. The bed I slept in was very creaky. To give you an idea of the 'triple' room size, it's much smaller than a Travel Lodge or Premier Inn room and might be passable as a single room.

The dining area is light and reasonably pleasant. The food is reasonable but the price is high for what is a fairly limited buffet. Our lunch when we arrived cost way more than the room (I'd have been outraged if I'd paid more for the room!).

In terms of location, it's pretty remote. The hotel claims it is only 4.5 miles from Gare du Nord but it has to be much more. We traveled back by taxi on a quiet Sunday morning and it took 20-30 minutes and cost 25 Euros.

The hotel was decent, especially for the price. The room was tiny, not enough space to place our luggage. But it was clean, so no complaints there. The big problem was how far it was from Paris center. Driving into the city was a nightmare (you could take the train, but it stops running just after midnight, so if you are coming back later, you have to shell out 40 euro for a cab) and there was really nothing around the hotel. No restaurants, shops, nothing.

Exactly what you'd expect from a Campanile

Clean hotel with standard Campanile rooms. 200 meters from the train station (RER C line), which will get you downtown in about 20 minutes. Helpful staff. Food is good but always the same in the morning. If groups are present in the hotel while you are there, we suggest you reserve a table for dinner time as you might have to wait for the groups to finish otherwise. Very few things to do around the hotel. There's a strip-mall with a supermarket between the hotel and the train station. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

After a few days at Disney with the kids we decided it would be worthwhile to vist Paris itself for the day too. This hotel was perfect for this, a five minute walk from the RER station that takes you straight to Champ de Mars for the Eiffel Tower. There is also a supermarket across the road from station to stock up on supplies if required.

Good value for hotel outside of Paris

Convenient to RER rail station, less than 5 minute walk. The food in hotel was good. Breakfast buffet was great and only a few euro and small children were free! Safe neigborhood and free car parking outside of hotel. There are two cafes within a close walk to hotel for other dinner choices. Room was clean but small, was able to fit family of four. Shower is small with no shower curtain or wash cloths. No frills, but the price is right for what you get. Easy access to highway when traveling by car.

The hotel was as I expected. It's not five star hotel, I knew it, but for two star it's pretty good. I'm really satisfied of everything, cleanliness was good, the people from the reception were very kind. Onliest thing which I didn't like was the distance from the city center. It' s take 3-4 min. to train station, 0-15 min waiting for the train and 35min to Not re Dame. Another good think was the supermarket E.Leclerc, where you could buy any meals and drinks, was just in front of the hotel.

Hôtel en travaux sans que l’on soit prévenu lors de la réservation. Ascenseur en panne durant les deux jours du séjours et pas d’eau chaude lorsqu’on rentre trop tard.
Ajouter à cela le manque de professionnalisme et de sympathie du personnel et on obtient la note qu’on mérite, c’est à dire pas terrible.

J’ai réservé une chambre pour 1 nuit avec petit déjeuner compris et 5 euros de taxes payé directement sur le site hôtel.com il est bien écrit qu’il me reste 3,20 à régler sur place

Perfekt! Jederzeit wieder!
· Sehr saubere, große und wunderschöne Zimmer. Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal. Tolles Frühstück und Abendessen.
· Einfach ein tolles Team und sehr leckeres und ausgefallenes Essen im Restaurant. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause und sehr willkommen. Das gesamte Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, kommunikativ und zuvorkommend. Es war zu jeder Tageszeit möglich, mit den Mitarbeitern zu sprechen oder Informationen von ihnen einzuholen. Vielen Dank für diesen Aufenthalt ( besonders großes dankeschön Lassana Mokameol Rachid )

Bon hôtel campanile à Gennevilliers

Franchement c'était correct, j'ai été bien accueillie par la dame de la réception, la chambre était super, il y avait du thé, sucre, café en sachets et gobelets avec une bouilloire.

La salle de bain était propre, les serviettes étaient de bonne qualité.

La TV fonctionnait ça va.

Dans l'ensemble c'était super, j'ai kiffé et je reviendrai sûrement en tout cas.

Merci beaucoup à l'équipe de l'hôtel Campanile à Gennevilliers c'était top.
