The reception and cleaning staff were lovely but the room was below good. The tap was not screwed in and it was small and scruffy.

The two gentlemen who checked me in and checked me out were very polite. BUT There is mold on the bath ceiling. The shower head leaked not allowing the head to spray with any pressure. I had to set the plastic bag in the body/shampoo dispenser in place to allow me to use it. There were \"No Smoking\" symbols attached to the door at every room but all evening I knew when one of my neighbors decided to have a cigarette.
I took mass transit. I walked from the tram. I followed the directions supplied to me. There isnt a sign that says Hotel de Villeneuve nor a sign that displays the address 80 Boulevard Charles de Gaulle. There is a sign that displays Kyriad - a name that is not mentioned on the info I was supplied with my reservation. And the sign cannot be seen through the trees while standing on Charles de Gualle. I passed it. I walked about one km. I spoke with a bus driver. I rode the bus back to the area of the hotel. Since I could not see it through the trees a nice woman who was walking her dog walked me to the entrance of the hotel property. I still was not convinced that I was at the right hotel because of the Kyriad sign but I figured I might get directions to my hotel. Fortunately it was THEE hotel. Once I had seen the condition of the room I planned to stay the night and leave in the morning. I did not expect a full refund for the next two days. I was charged for one night plus a too large admin fee. I may fight the for a refund of the admin fee w my mold pictures.

The property was DIGUSTING, the lobby smelled like rotting lobsters and the key they gave us was a hole punched piece of plastic that looked like a dogs chew toy. Then when we got to the room which we went up a set of stairs with minimal lighting and got to the hallway to our room with NO lighting in it, when we opened the door all we could smell was HEAVY mint cleaner. The lampshades were broken and cracked and the lightbulbs barely worked, the bathroom was dirty and had cigerrate burns on the toilette paper and the tissue boxes. Plus, as an added bonus there were dead little bugs EVERYWHERE.

The hotel was in very bad conditions, they were doing maintenance and we had no water, we wanted to shower and go out as we had just landed in Paris in the morning. We had to wait until 6pm to shower and we landed in Paris at 6am. Very disappointing start to our trip. The hotel is a let down very small room, bed was very hard to sleep in and the carpets are gross. I wish we had stay at a different hotel, closer to locations.

Middle of nowhere.

Not a great area, very industrial, almost scary with dodge people around, not recommended for single travellers. Transport (link to the closest train station is a tram, cc 15-20 min walk) The taxi from Paris Gare du Nord train station (EUROSTAR) cost 20 Euro.

We were very late in reaching Paris. We informed the hotel authority about this. Since, the check in time closes at 11 pm, they kept the keys in an envelope and also told us the code for entering through the gate and the door code where keys were kept. Rooms were nice, cozy. 8 min walk from La Noue station. Very quiet place. Highly recommended.

Kyriad Hotel is too far from Paris Centre

The Kyriad Hotel is so far from Paris in the middle of nowhere. There are some very large apartment buildings near the hotel, but surprisingly there are no restaurants, bars , supermarkets or any place to eat or drink other than the small restaurant in the hotel. The food was very mediocre
You might as well go to Eastern Europe as this area does not give you any feeling of being in Paris or even in France.
The Front Desk staff was friendly.

The hotel is old and run down, and looks nothing like the photographs. The entire time we were there there was an overwhelming smell of raw sewerage in the upstairs corridors. We had someone enter our room with a pass key at 4.30am, we reported it to reception, but were given no feed back or apology

NOT near airport, and two flights of narrow stairs

I actually like these hotels that locals stay in. A restaurant with a few main courses to choose from, more people sitting around drinking beers, a friendly staff.
But, Expedia suggested that this was near CDG. A 50 EUR, one hour cab ride suggests, not so near.
And walking up two flights in a narrow stair case is getting too much for us.
Why is it that none of the hotel sites identify stairs vs. elevators?

The site was near the site of interest on my business trip but the bed was caved in and did not sleep well at all. The Wifi was acceptable and although quite rudimentary with no lifts and inconvenient doors and stairs it would have been ok if at least I could sleep for the one night i had to be there.

Nice room, plenty of heating and hot water and good amount of space. The staff at reception were very friendly. We appreciated the kettle and free tea/coffee and bottle of water. It took us 40 minutes to walk from the hotel to the metro station, porte de paris, saint denis, across the river and past the railway! Just follow the tram line and you'd get there. Felt safe enough walking around.

Nice overall experience with secure parking

It was a good experience. Since we were driving to France we needed a safe parking hotel and it has a parking within tthe boundary and there was always a member of staff watching the gate throughout the night. From your room you can hear a lot of people talking outside the street but since we were always knackered we fell asleep very fast and it didn't really bothered us. The breakfast was 10euro each which was a little expensive I thought but it was very nice!! If you are looking for a cheap good quality hotel with secure parking then this is it!! The staff were very polite and helpful especially the White french lady we saw every morning. She use to give is information about parking our car within paris. Also after 5 mins drive you can get a lot of restaurants as the hotel doesn't have lunch and dinner served!! Just ask one of their friendly staff they will give u the location.

as I bought my 14 yr old granddaughter with me I found it to be a hostel and not a hotel. to be locked in the grounds after 9.30 is no hotel for us so I found another hotel which cost me over 300 euros but at least we were safe and sound the area were this hotel is very rough and I would not recommend the Kyriad to my worst enemy. no way is three star more like three bullets

made prior arrangements with the hotel that I would be checking in late. I arrived at the time I mentioned and found the gate to be closed. kept trying to call and ring the bell but there was no answer and had to sleep in my car until morning. would never stay here again!

also, when we finally got our room, it was disgusting and there were clipped nails on the carpet, lots of them!!

Fabulous location for Stad de France and Paris. Train no more than 4 minutes walk from the hotel. Room sufficient (we stayed 2 nights), nothing plush but fine for the price. Extremely thin walls though! Reception closes around 9pm each night and although breakfast is advertised at 8am daily we wanted to check out and by 8.30 there was still no one on reception and all the doors were locked. Ourselves and a few other guests had to force our keys under the locked doors so that we could leave as there is no letter box or key deposit box to use. They either need to get a key deposit box or open reception earlier.

For the price, it was a nice place. We took the metro to get to it, but had to take a cab because it is not within walking distance of the metro. Also, the metro comes out in a shady neighborhood. The bathroom door handle fell off, but the bed was comfortable and the room was nice for a 3 star place.

The beds were comfortable and clean. I will stay here again. There were a couple of little gripes, like the hairdryer not working but overall a great little place for the money.

If you want to see Paris, this is a great place to stay, the car park is very secure and you can drive a couple of miles to the metro station and leave your car there all day for free (on street parking) Just turn right out of the gate, then turn right and go to the next major lights where the D486 crosses, turn left there and follow your nose for about 5 or 10 minutes and you will see the Metro. (Just follow the tram tracks)

AS said, great for the price but don't expect a luxury hotel! But, honestly, we had a great time and its clean enough.

Came in for a meeting in St Denis next morning. People at the reception were ok, but appearance of the place, room, etc was tired. Bathroom in the room had only a few lights working, no heating at all - so both shower and night were pretty cold. Shower cabine showed mould in the corners.

Only recomand to those who are planning a long stay with a VERY tight budget in Paris!

we arrived at the CDG airport 1pm and asked the information desk of how to get to the hotel (this turned out to be the biggest mistake! we should have trusted our research results more) and they gave us a wrong direction! so we got off the wrong underground station and couldn't find the bus stop. we asked locals for direction and ended up walking more than one and half hours in sub-zero degree.

had to find a taxi because it was just too cold and we couldn't count on anybody to give us direction anymore. finally arrived at the hotel which already 4pm (since we only here for three and half days so the first day was wasted on finding the hotel!)

the rest of our stay was fine, the room was clean etc and the hotel staff was really helpful. but that doesn't matter, if you are not on a good location it doesn't matter what you do. everyday we had to plan our journey and spend a lot of time traveling especially waiting at the bus stops.

therefore i would recommand everyone, if you are in paris on a short trip, do not leave anywhere outside zone 2! preferably zone 1 because that will save you a lot of time, seriously. if you are planning to stay in paris for week and have an extremely tight budget then this hotel is possibly a good choice.

The people at the front desk were very nice and let us check in early. The room was in fair condition. The bedding needs to be replaced. The walls are very thin and I felt more like I was staying in a hostel then a hotel. Drunk people talking loudly in the halls until the wee hours of the morning on Friday & Saturday nights. I would not like the area expect if you have a car to get around. Over all not the kind of place I would go back too however.

good if your on a really tight budget otherwise not worth it

Overall quite dissappointed. We arrived tried and hungry, the hotel advertises a resteraunt however that is just for breakfast! That was pretty mediocre and the bread was covered in flies which nobody seemed to bothered about. If you take the bus 177 outside Kyriad, two stops away there is a supermarket where you can stock up on food.

Customer service was good when we could get hold of someone but reception was always deserted.

The room was ok but there was a strange smell around the whole block which was quite horrible. The hotels idea of cleaning was to tidy the beds and put the rubbish in a neat pile on the side. The wi-fi connection was joke so dont expect much if your taking your laptop!

Its a good option if your on a budget, I only went for 3 days I still managed to see all the major sights and get back to the hotel at a good hour. With regards to the surrounding neighbourhood, its better described as a \"hood\" however it wasnt as bad as I expected.

Inexpensive, if you don't mind taking the train and don't care about night life.

The hotel Kyriad Villeneuve La Garenne is a very nice hotel in a not so good neighborhood. It was clean, inexpensive, the people were wonderful but it's not close to the metro and is in a neighborhood where a foreigner really would not want to walk around at night. There is a bus stop 1 block away and several others within walking distance.

We stayed there over New Years Eve because it was inexpensive relative to the hotels in Paris. We thought it was a 15 minute walk to the train station, which might be true, but you wouldn't want to do it at night. And the problem is that in Paris, cab fares double at some point in the night, so a cab ride back to the hotel from central Paris was about $40 each evening. Even with that though, it was less expensive than staying in the city. When we took the cab, the drivers never could find the place without help from us. One of them got lost a couple of times on the way to the hotel. Of course, we pay the fare when they do that.

So here's when you would want to stay in this hotel.
a) On business with your own transportation
b) Traveling cheap when you don't mind walking to a train or taking a bus and have plenty of time.
c) On your own if you don't mind urban environments

Keep in mind there is no night life close by and very few places to eat. Thier breakfast was awesome, however.

The room was very clean but really small. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and recently refurbished.

Overall, nice hotel and people, bad location.

Good Budget Hotel

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Their English was certainly better than our very limited French.
We must have had the same musty room that one of the reviewers for this hotel stayed in. However the twin room that my kids across the hall had smelled just fine. Both rooms were clean and neat.
The room rate didn't include breakfast though we took that option during our stay as the hotel is not that close to another restaurant. However the buffet-style breakfast was quite good considering it was 8 euros per person.
For sightseeing we parked the car for free close to a Metro station and just hopped on-off the trains in Paris.
We would stay at this hotel again and it's location being north of Paris is handy for the return to Calais.

Premier jour, il serait important de préciser que l'on ne peut pas payer une grande partie du séjour avec les chèques vacances ( l'hôtel n'accepte qu'a hauteur de 30€ pour les deux jours passés sur place) arrivée dans la chambre fenêtre ouverte un froid de Sibérie il est 22 h . Pas de savon pour pouvoir se laver ou prendre une douche. Annonce faites pour trois personnes et des serviettes uniquement pour deux . Petit déjeuner intercontinental au compte goutte, pour ce qui est des viennoiseries par lots de 5 unités des œufs froids ,pains en tranches asséché , le pire du séjour fut la seconde nuitée du bruit , tapage nocturne à partir de 22h sans interruption, je décide d’appeler la réception il est 23h23 à la réception elle me dit qu’elle va envoyer le veilleur de nuit il est venu taper à la porte des voisins à 0h55 il a fait quoi tout ce temps là ? Le calme n’est revenu dans l’hôtel que vers 1h30 du matin , on a réussi à s’endormir vers 2h du matin pour se lever à 5h quelle nuit pourrie…. On a pas eu la protection de l’hôtel qui devait nous garantir le repos .. je demande à être remboursé !! De cette nuit d’hôtel . Pour information nous étions là pour le travail cet hôtel était soi-disant à 12,8 km de distance de notre lieu de travail sur votre site hôtels. Com alors qu’en réalité il est situé à 19km donc je vous laisse imaginer tous les désagréments subis…

Le personnel de l'hôtel était vraiment très accueillant et très professionnel.
Le souci a été d'ordre sonore. Certains clients ne tiennent pas compte du fait que les murs sont fins, que l'insonorisation est quasi inexistante. Je suis venue à Villeneuve pour travailler ; les nuitées dans ces conditions ne m'ont pas permis le repos requis. Je ne reviendrai pas dans cet hôtel lors de mon prochain séjour de travail.

Далеко от метро, на автобусе добираться до Парижа 1.5 - 2 часа, часто заторы на мостах. Вход с улицы в гостиницу не обозначен, нужно догадаться войти во двор, где стоит транспорт и пройти немного, чтобы увидеть рецепцию.

Но в целом, пребывание было комфортным Ночью соседи не шумели, хотя днём их было слышно. Каждый день убирали.

Un peu de rénovation nécessaire. Personnel très agréable, attentionné et reactif. Chambres spatieuses pour le prix demandé. Quartier tres calme. Seul hotels des alentours à fournir les draps en cette période.

Meget slidt

Hotellet er MEGET slidt. Store dele af det minder mere om en asyl lejer end et hotel. Ligger i et Getto område. Betjeningen der var meget søde og hjælpsomme, men der var ikke noget af alt det dejlige, man ser på billederne.
Men som sagt søde mennesker i receptionen.

Le personnel est vraiment très agréable, très gentil c'est le seul point positif car l'hôtel est vétuste, pas très propre, pas engageant et bruyant.Le sèche cheveux cassé, ampoule inexistante dans la lampe de chevet, un seul chevet, chauffage ne fonctionnant pas dans sdb ... dommage.

Le camere sono pulite e tenute bene internamente mentre la struttura fuori andrebbe un po' risistemata
Appena arrivato non mi ha fatto un gran effetto ma la camera era accogliente pulita e in ordine

Photos non conformes avec la réalité. On voit qu il y a eu une tentative de menage mais la moquette est dans un etat deplorable tellemznt elle est tachee. Les prises et ventilations de la salle de bains ne tiennent plus au mur c est dangereux

Le personnel était sympathique et poli l’établissement lui-même est bien celle chose que je n’ai pas trop aimé c’était l’évier qui était bouché et que on nous a pas prévenu mais à part ça tout était bien

Die Türen waren verschrammt, hässlich und sehr hellhörig. Die Tapetenfarbe war nicht schön. Aber es gab einen Wasserkocher und jeden Tag neuen Nescafé. Die Leute an der Reception waren sehr freundlich. In der Nähe ist ein Supermarkt.
