Front desk gentleman was nice but I think he was trying to scam us more money. We booked for two nights. And he was claiming we had to pay property tax of $150. And I have no idea how he got that number. I think he thought because we were tourists that we would fall for it. But after pulling up my Expedia receipt, it said $34 Canadian pay at property. So I genuinely don’t know where he got that number from. The room was OK very basic for what you pay for bathroom and bedding was clean. My biggest fear is bedbugs and I didn’t see anything like that so it felt safe to sleep on. Stiff bed. Because it’s on a wooden frame. And I do think some of the walls either needed to be cleaned or repainted. But for a couple of nights, it was doable. But I would not recommend sleeping there for up to a week just because the bed was stuff and you only get one pillow per person and there was no blow dryer in the washroom. Also, when you go to check out on your last day, don’t leave the room too early because once you leave after 11 am. The room automatically locks you out we were lucky to have all of our stuff out.

Every ground floor window and door on the front of this building was smashed, with some looking like bullet holes. The breakfast was terrible, having to go and ask at reception for plates and if it was possible to get some cheese to go with the bread on offer. The man on reception at night had a terrible attitude and was very unhelpful. Our sink drainer broke during our stay, as was removed instead of being fixed. Cobwebs on light fittings in dinning area and cleanly visable dust along the perimeter of the hall carpets. Overall a very poor stay, and would not recommend.

Staff are very nice & helpful. This is good point. Everything else, poor. Air vent missing in bathroom fully removed just hole in wall to internal system. Not healthy or safe by your head in shower. Dirty filthy stains marks on walls and skirting. Floor not cleaned properly. Bedding had hairs in it. Very noisy location over trams throughout night even on 5th floor. Nighttime reception host locks himself in on night to be safe because bad area with vagrants. I was locked out for 5 mins on return after 2am and panic. Given my injuries and broken finger hand wrist no wonder even more so.This was not good. But a sign to explain is necessary. I understand he is scared to be attacked on a night there but locking out guests because you perceive they all in bed already not good

Booked a twin room for my daughter and I, was very small but we were rarely in the room other than to shower and sleep. Room was very clean and the hotel in general was very clean. Service by the gentleman on reception was outstanding he was such a nice friendly guy. Ideal location opposite terminus station on Ligne 13 (Les Courtilles) absolutely perfect for getting into Paris. Would definitely recommend staying here and saving yourself hundreds of euros versus staying closer to attractions. Thanks for a brilliant stay

The rooms are fairly small but very clean. It is across the street from the metro and there are a plenty of good restaurants within 10 mins walking.

The only con is, even after we had the “do not disturb” sign they would still come knocking at our door at 9:30am. On the morning of our checkout they came at 11:45 asking us when we were going to checkout. We shared with them we would be out at noon since that is the checkout time. The front staff was not helpful and often times aggressive when we did have questions.

Stay clear of the arrogant manager..arrived early told in crude tone not till 2pm!..ok came back during a full argument she was having with her staff. Finally checked in , on the first morning the prepacked cooked microwave breakfast didn't impress my son's , so the second morning I went myself a little late at 10pm after paying 6 X £7 breakfast the dishes were empty .she said breakfast closes at 10..I kindly pointed out it was 10:30..at this point she said you only needed to ask..wow..worst experience of customer service in my 20yrs of traveling..one lift broke. Could be a great place with a professional manager.

Dirty sheets and I was asked to change it myself!

The hotel was ok. But my sheets were dirty. The type where there is coffee stains on it and the sheet was not washed properly. So I told the lady in the reception regarding the problem, her first reaction was \"Are you sure?\" then I told her about the coffee stain, she gave me 2 sheets and then what? I do change my own sheets? I should apply as a their staff. And yes, i have to change my own sheets! Also, when I wanted to talk to someone in reception, i have to wait for 5 minutes before someone will notice you. They thought I just like to just stand in front of the reception as a hobby. Overall. not so happy with the service. I only booked it cause it was close to where I want to be. Not coming here.

The location was good, it’s just in front of the tube station. But was it was disappointing was the service. When I booked the room I asked if I could leave my luggage with them the night before the check in and they said yes of course, no problem. I arrived very late to the hotel and at last minute they said no you can’t leave your luggage here in a rude way and they even told us to leave (it was very late at night and we had to run looking for places where we could leave the bags. I would stay there again but I wouldn’t count on them for that kind of things. Also the room was very very small but for the price that I paid it was ok

Great value for money.

Hotel very well organised even down to reassuring security. However better for car than for public transport, remember to use Courcelles metro opposite to get to central Paris. Location means that it’s difficult to get to a good restaurant nearby if you don’t have your own transport. Good breakfast and excellent sound/heat insulation. Room perfect temperature.

Pleasant hotel in a busy city

Our overall experience here was good. Getting here was difficult, but we dont hold the hotel responsible for that. There was a lot of construction in the area but you couldn't tell from inside the hotel, so props for that. Our room was nice and roomy. Breakfast was good except the coffee, that was weak. Again, not their fault as it was made by a machine.

The hotel is pleasant and I think once all the construction is finished, it might be a nice area. The metro being right across the street was nice. One other negative was the cost of parking. Our other B&B we stayed at did not charge us for parking. Not sure why this one did.

Basic but Modern hotel. Would stay again!!

Hotel was new and modern but at the same time pretty basic, that’s not to say that the hotel wasn’t very good because it was. Location was a little questionable but ideal as it was a minutes walk from the Les Courtilles metro station.

Room was basic but modern and fit for purpose. Tv had no English channels however it had chromecast so was able to hook up Netflix from my iPad.

Breakfast was agin basic when compared to English chains like premier inn but if you’re a fan of croissants and baguette then you will be fine.

Hotel staff polite and their English was good.

Overall a good stay and if I was to stay in Paris again I would consider this hotel again.

This place is nice with a very nice breakfast for only 6.5 euros. My biggest complaint is that the air conditioning did not work. It acted like it was doing something, but it didn't put out any cold air. We were burning up the entire time, even with the windows open to try and get some airflow. Also, the shower head would not stay on the hook at eye level so you had to use the hook at your knees to hold it up, which made it hard to take a shower. They tried to repair it before using a bunch of silicone, but it was only made to look better but still didn't function. Overall, this place is nice, but I would hesitate to book again because of the air conditioning.

We had a lot of problems with this hotel and they promised to bring me back the entire amount I paid for the reservation. There were leaks from the ceiling because of the air conditioner and two nights in a row that we could not sleep because of the noise of the leak and probably because of that the air conditioner did not cool well when it was a heat load of 35-38 degrees !!! Our things got wet because of the leak. They took me on the second day to another room at 1 AM !! Because the leak went on and that's after they assured me they fixed the leak and that we could go to bed in the room! In the room they took me to, the sink was clogged and the water did not go down even though I complained that they did not come to fix it and we could not use the sink in a bathroom. They told me to update you too because the order was made through you and they need me to tell you to contact them so they will win me the entire amount I paid. Contact them urgently.

Inexpensive Paris hotel

Inexpensive hotel (compared to those in downtown Paris), not too close to the major attractions in Paris. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff that spoke English, breakfast is served in the mornings if you wish to purchase it, they also have 24 hr security guards present. My room was a little small, no closet, no iron, no mini fridge, just the absolute basics: bed, tv, shower and bathroom, some hooks and hangers to hang some clothes on a metal bar, and a rudimentary desk (barely bigger than a laptop) and tiny chair. The room is not a convenient place to do work as there is barely enough room to fit your laptop on the desk, though there is a table in the lobby that provides more space. Mattress was firm and comfortable. It is located directly across the street from the Les Courtilles metro station which is very convenient to get to downtown Paris on the number 13 line, except note that the number 13 line is one of the most crowded lines I've traveled on. It's about 30 - 40 minutes of jam packed riding on the metro to the main Paris attractions. There are not really many restaurants nearby: a McDonald's, a couple of boulangeries, and a sushi restaurant. I don't even think there's a convenience store or grocery store within reasonable walking distance. The condition of the hotel is very good as I believe it is newly built as of Oct 2018 and the wifi works very well and was very reliable.

Essa foi a segunda vez que me hospedei nesse hotel. Gosto da localização ( em frente ao metrê), tem supermercado, Mc Donaldos e uma doceria próximas, o que facilita muito, além do microondas que é um grande facilitador quando chegamos cansados e queremos comer e dormir. Gosto do bairro, dessa vez caminhamos para o lado de trás para ir ao Carrefour e foi uma grata surpresa ver aquelas casinhas, e descobrimos até uma loja de pães. O recepcionista do dia é uma simpatia e muito educado e prestativo. A limpeza do banheiro é ok, e tem serviço de quarto diário. Para mim o melhor custo benefício de Paris. Se um dia eu voltar, apostarei novamente nessa hospedagem.

Très bon établissement. Je reviendrai. Tout était parfait. J'ai noté un distributeur de café en grains dans le hall.Un tout petit point critiquable (le seul): j'aurais apprécié des fruits, (même en conserve) au petit déjeuner, par ailleurs excellent.
Dernier avantage: l'hôtel est juste en face de la station de métro. Le quartier n'est pas des plus riches, mais je n'y ai jamais eu de problèmes depuis toutes les années que je le fréquente.

Lo mejor del hotel es su cercanía a la estación del metro linea 13.( 30 min al centro histórico). La habitación es muy pequeña al igual que el baño, solo esta lo básico para pasar la noche, punto a favor la insonorizacion y la limpieza diaria . El desayuno es muy costoso para lo que ofrece. Hay un Mac Donald a 200 mts, y un supermercado a 100 mts ( 7 am a 10pm)

Seitdem ich im Hotel war sind meine AirPods weg, ich habe sie nirgends mitgenommen und die einzigsten die Zutritt hatten, waren die Reinigungskräfte… Außerdem war das Zimmer am Anfang und auch sonst immer nicht gestaubsaugt, ein Handtuch war dreckig und im Zimmer wurde nur der Müll entleert das war’s. Ansonsten ist eine Metro direkt gegenüber.

Il y a et du tapage nocturne en pleine nuit du 15/12 dans le couloir…pendant un bon moment.

Pensant que le couple arrêterait de se battre et crier rien ne s’est passé …

Le seul point fort de l’hôtel est le parking et l’emplacement face au métro. Hygiène à revoir : un cafard a été retrouvé mort dans la salle de bain. La housse de couette était à moitié froissé. Alèse pleine de poils c’est très dommage. Le matelas était très peu épais, il n’y avait pas de couette et oreiller supplémentaire de disponible. L’état des ascenseurs est déplorable …

Bad reception, dirty rooms, wall of bugs

It was the worst stay ever. Rude reception, we arrived on Tuesday 1st of August at 12:30 and my friend had an operation so he needed so rest, we told the reception and she said «donc?» which means « so what? » she was very aggressive with her response to everything we ask for. It seemed like they really hate their job at the hotel and they didn’t want to work. No smile and no bonjour and no welcome.
The room: Very dirty room. The wall and roof is full of bugs and bug blood. The bathroom was damaged we took a photo and showed the reception but she didn’t care.
Location is far away but the metro is across the street.

Médiocre pour un hôtel censé avoir été rénové

Je ne peux qu'être déçue de mon séjour dans cet hôtel car hormis son emplacement, tout le reste est à revoir surtout concernant l'entretien des chambres. Pour ma part, j'ai dormi dans la chambre 329 avec des traces de coulures au mur suite probablement à une fête bien arrosée, les toiles d'araignée au plafond, les tablettes de chevet étaient encore collantes, le robinet de la salle de douche fuyait et les joints de la douche étaient noirs. Voilà ce que je retiens de mon séjour

Je choisis toujours cet hotel lors de mes déplacements en région Parisienne.
Personnel sympa et à l'écoute.
Il y avait une fuite d'eau dans salle de bain sous le lavabo.
Par contre un e fontaine à eau serait la bienvenue car le prix de l' eau minérale dans distributeur est hors de prix 1.60e pour 25cl. Quant au petit déjeuner, prix très elevé par rapport à la qualité qui nous était proposé ( Pas de jambon, d'oeufs durs, pain pas terrible). Heureusement que des croissants nature ou au chocolat excellents et en abondance permettent de remonter la note du petit dejeuner. 6/10
