Park Plaza Vondelpark is a lovely boutique hotel in an upscale neighborhood. It is two blocks away from the spacious Vondelpark, one of the largest in the city. It's also two blocks from the nearest tram stop that leads directly past the major museums and ends at the Centrum, the heart of the city. Everyone on the staff, from the desk clerk to the maintenance person to the restaurant wait staff, were very polite and professional. Both the buffet breakfast and the dinner items were delicious. They have a special steamed and baked cod dish that was tender and delicious. They loan free high-quality umbrellas and rent bicycles. Highly recommended if you prefer a quiet, safe, attracrive neighborhood.

I loved this nice hotel and the staff were great. I noticed a discrepancy in the price and Marshall helped me to get it resolved. He is a very nice and knowledgeable employee, focused on customer satisfaction. I loved that it was eco too. The only thing I didn't care for was the size of our room. It was unusually small. There was barely room to move around. For our 25th wedding anniversary, they placed us in a room with a view of where the garbage was stored.

This was the perfect hotel for our trip to Amsterdam. The room was a decent size, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We really liked the location right by Vondelpark. It was extremely quiet yet accessible to both the airport (20 min ride on the #397 bus) and to the main attractions and central station (#2 tram). I would definitely stay here again on a return trip.

Every staff member was very kind and helpful. I had a scooter with me to help me get around easier since I have a health condition. They accomodated me with no hesitation. European outlets are quite different than what we have in the states. They helped me with that as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Nice place.

We chose the location specifically for access to Vondelpark and just a short walk-and even shorter tram ride-to Museumplein. The location is near Vondelpark, and inbetween two tram stations on the no. 2. It’s convenient for the bus to the airport as well.

The room I was in was called “Cozy” and it’s very tight. But the bed itself is very comfortable! The shower was great. Everything was clean. The ac didn’t work, but they fixed it.

The breakfast is good. They have eggs, bacon, Dutch pancakes and beans for hot stuff. Then they have yogurt, cereal and cold cuts too. Lots of juice, water and a coffee machine.

I would recommend this property.

At first I thought the size of the hotel was kind of smaller as compared with the hotels I stayed in before but it was not the size that matters. I loved my room, the bed was comfortable, the whole hotel was very clean, the staff in the front desk are very nice and friendly and I can’t forget that morning when my mom was having a hard time to climb the front stairs and the manager came out to assist her! That’s the kind of service you won’t feel everywhere. The experience was just extraordinary. Excellent service, thank you very much.
