Room is clear and amended with all that is needed for a stay in Amsterdam, There is no kettler or refrigerator in the room. Also the coffee which is available for free in the kitchen is not allowed to drink in the room. But there is plenty of food and drink around the city so it is not the minus. The bathroom is perfectly clean and smells nice. Hotel is situated in the beautiful neighbourhood in an old cute building and the bus 397 (to the Airport) is very close.(3-4 min walking). The staff was very polite. Tle elevator works perfectly. Breakfast is very good and tasteful.

Was visiting Amsterdam for a business trip (1 day stay before heading to another citiy for a conf). The Owl Hotel was a great place to stay - centrally located and nice clean room, along with excelltent breakfast (there was outside seating in the patio which was a nice option on sunny mornings). The Front Desk Staff (Olga) was very helpful with places to eat, and transit to the Central Train Center. First rate staff with excellenent skills, friendly, and knowleagable.

This place was amazing! We loved the staff as they were always so kind and helpful for any of our needs including recommendations for the city, hotel service, etc. It was such a cute place in a really great area close to the museums and it wasn’t a far walk to the rest of the city. The rooms themselves were perfect and comfortable with a nice shower. Perfect for two young women exploring Amsterdam!

Lovely staff (Jessica and Samuel) , great location, very clean, rooms service/linens changed daily. Room had a portable fan which is good as the room had no built in fan/aircon (this might be normal in Europe I’m not sure)

The patio of this hotel is an absolutely wonderful retreat in the midst of the city. The public spaces are comfortable and welcoming. The rooms are small but adequate. I would definitely stay here again.

I really liked this hotel. Some might call it dated, but I found it to be charming. My room was always clean and I was provided with fresh linens. The breakfast provided was accommodating to my dietary needs. The location was excellent for me. Perfect location for museum trips and close enough walk to the city center. This is also right near a beautiful park. The hotel also has an adorable cat who seems to live the dream in their lobby area. I would definitely return!

We stayed on the 4th floor - it was a nice surprise that they had an elevator! Room was equipped with a fan (a necessity in Europe). Overall nice hotel in a great part of the city.

Very modest hotel and frankly, overpriced. The rooms are incredibly small with paper thin walls, so you can hear everyone in the other rooms around you. There is no AC, and rooms can be very hot. The WiFi is very bad, at times bouncing me offline when just surfing the web.

This was my third time at this property and have liked it. THIS time, however, I was informed that guests are not allowed to have guests in their room. You have to socialize in the lobby. This happened as I was headed to my room with a guest. Not posted anywhere in the lobby or on Expedia or informed at check-in. Said it was because of noise complaints in the past.

-It’s the absolute best location. We walked everywhere, and if you’re not in the mood to walk too much there’s a tram and bus stop very nearby. Super close to the main city area with bars/shops/etc., and also very close to Vondel Park which was a beautiful spot for morning strolls and breakfast. That being said, it’s a good enough distance from main areas that we weren’t kept up with street noise.
-It’s super cute and just has more character than if you went to a big chain hotel. If you’re looking for somewhere with some charm, this place is great.

Not good for a couple on a romantic holiday
The location was nice but the room has stained carpet and was missing key things. Mainly the bed was not as expected and when I asked if there is a different room with a bed two people can fit in they said \"no, we're fully booked and no room has a bigger bed\". I thought the room was supposed to have a mini fridge, it didn't but they offered to store our things in the fridge at the front desk; We did and it wasn't cold. Another strange thing was we needed to give the room key back each time we left to go places; this felt like an invasion of privacy.

arrived on the 379 bus from the airport plus less than a 5 minute walk. From arrival to departure the staff couldnt have been nicer. Breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. The main galleries are within less than 10 minutes walk.

A fine hotel for a short stay. But the booking on their website offering queen beds or two twins is misleading as either booking lands you with two twin beds smashed together in the center of the room. The breakfast is also a complete scam. It is 17 euros per person per day, not that this is advertised or disclosed anywhere, for little more than toast and cold cereal.

We stayed at the Owl Hotel for 3 nights at the end of December 2024. The property was in a nice quiet neighborhood, but was still walkable to some of the more popular spots. Every staff member was so friendly and accommodating, especially my favorite member of the staff: Basel the cat. The rooms are small but functional and everything was very clean and comfortable. I saw some other reviews stated that the walls were thin and neighbors could be heard, but we didn't have any issues with that. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay in Amsterdam!!

I enjoyed my stay at the Owl Hotel. They have a friendly cat Basille there, partly why i chose to stay here :) hotel is clean, has small elevator and cute backyard. I stayed on 3rd floor and unfortunately wifi was very spotty and wouldnt work for more than 5min at a time. Also wouldnt work if you are laying in bed, had to find a corner where it would but again only for like 5min. Reception said they reset the router but it didnt help much. Maybe invest in stronger router or set one on each floor. Its 2024! Ridiculous to not have internet. Also crappy water pressure, but i hear it’s like that everywhere in Europe. I feel sorry for you, guys.

Overall find a better stay for the cost in Amsterdam. Booked 2 double bed rooms and when arrived, they did not have enough double bed rooms.
The hotel is very loud since it’s old so you hear all the plumbing, doors closing and conversations in the hallways. Beds were very soft and not comfortable. Also no AC (though that’s fairly common in Europe). Neighborhood is good but can definitely find better options for the cost.
