Pros: Great location, room size, nice decor, fridge, complementary drink, good exercise having to use stairs but not for everyone.

Cons: self check in not so smooth, no lift, a lot of stairs if at the top so would be difficult with luggage!, room could be cleaner but nothing major (bathroom blind very dusty/broken)

The first floor room facing the street was noisy and disruptive, especially at night. The space felt cramped, and bathroom amenities such as body wash were never replenished during the stay. The toilet also failed to refill properly. Overall, a disappointing experience for the price point.

Room was around 8’ x 12’ with bathroom separated, a bit tight. Staff was exceptional and room was immaculate.The problem was with noise, a bar was near by, also quite nice.
The noise lasted until after 3:30 am, ear plugs and noise cancelling headphones proved ineffective..

The hotel is in the museum district, a very short walk from the tram stop. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. It is in a walking distance to the museums, flower market and other sites. It took us about 25 minutes to get there from the airport using the train and then the tram. The staff at the reception was very nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel, noisy environment

We stayed at Weber for 2 nights. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They let us check in early as our room happenned to be ready, and we were also able to access the secure luggage room after check out.
The room was large and airy, with comfortable beds and air conditioning.
The only issue was the noise- the hotel provides ear plugs and we could see why: the bed is right by the door, and all night long loud raucous party guests run around the hallways. There's also a bar outside so there's noise from the street. Fine if you're a couple on their own in Amsterdam to party, not so great with two young children...

Comfortable room and nice location

The basic studio was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The hotel is located in an area which is within walking distance of many museums and central dam. We walked everywhere even from the main central station to the hotel is 30mins so a nice comfortable walk where you get to enjoy the charming buildings and canals.

Great location with lots of charm. Very comfortable room with microwave and refrigerator. The stairs up to the room are very steep so not for anyone with mobility issues and no elevator. Staff was very nice and delivered our bags to our and then brought them back to the street at checkout time. Lots of restaurants and bars close by.

As a family of four, great room for a quick trip to Amsterdam. Very close to museums. If late night noise bothers you, they provide free earplugs that help. Room was clean, staff was helpful and friendly, building is not handicapped accessible. Stairs are as steep as a ladder. If you are phisically cabable it is an authentic Amsterdam experience. If you are into seeing and experiencing Amsterdam and not big on full ammnenity hotels, I highly reccommend the Weber.

Our triple room was excellent. Very clean. Located 2 mins walk from a main tram route. Its setting was by a canal which was lovely. Had a problem checking in late in creating our key cards, phoned night porter and he came out within 5 minutes to sort. What a lovely friendly fella, and got us sorted in no time. Would definitely recommend, will go back in future. Whatva lovely place.

This was a great Basecamp and we were able to get anywhere we needed/wanted to go because eut was easy to get to public transport, good selection of restaurants and other sights, and the #12 tram from Amsterdam Centraal was at the end of the street.
We got the triple, and it was a good size and on the first floor so that was a plus.
All the staff were helpful and friendly, and id book again.

The hotel itself was in a decent location, walkable area, restaurants nearby, ext. However the noise from the bars downstairs at night is very loud, the beds could use an update, the mattress cover is just not working for comfort and a warning about the steep staircase up to the 3rd floor would have been nice to be aware of with heavy luggage.

We were on a tight budget. The hotel was the cheapest we could find and was highly-rated, very well maintained, very clean and tidy and centrally located. We couldn't ask for more. It was far nicer than I expected, very nice in fact. We would definitely stay there again. I have nothing negative to report, it all went very nicely indeed.

On two occasions my door would not lock after I exited my room. I had to call the out of hours number and staff had to come in. On the first occasion this was a few minutes, on the second it was around 30 minutes. I had to use an Uber to meet my appointment for the second occasion at a cost of £13.95 - without the delay I would have walked.
In my room (04) the remote did not work and there were no available terrestrial channels. It was not possible to switch off the lights from the bed. The shower lower head height could not be fixed at different levels and had to be held.
Regarding the locking and remote, when problems were raised, staff were polite and very helpful. I have no complaints on that front.
Basic comfort in the room was OK and my stay would have been fine without the problems indicated.

O hotel é ideal para quem for aproveitar o dia todo fora pela cidade e voltar apenas para um banho e descansar. Alias, cama e chuveiro muito bons. O quarto era pequeno. E pequeno mesmo. Duas pessoas e duas malas de 10kg já fica dificil a locomoção interna, mas não foi um problema no geral.
Atenção especial às escadas. Ingremes e estreitas (quase um padrão holandês pelo que notei).. Então se você tem dificuldade de locomoção, se for com muitas malas isso pode ser um problema (fiquei no 3o andar e subir e descer com as malas foi um pouco malabarismo! Mas sobrevivi)

We originally booked a double bed, and wasn’t expecting much but they upgraded us with no extra charge to a triple with a private little courtyard patio area attached to it. The reception desk always had someone to help us out if we had questions, and they were all extremely friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful stay that felt very welcoming!

The location is good and the building was ok. But the shower has. A lot of timescale build up, it's a bit gross. One of the large windows does not lock, which meant we didn't feel comfortable leaving anything in the room... It's on the ground floor, the windows ought to lock. I put my bag under the bed and it came out caked in dust...

Sam, the manager, was EXCELLENT to deal with!!! He treated us as his personal guests. He could not have been a better representative of Weber Hotels!

Great location near the center of town. Tram stops close - within easy walking distance.

Our only regret was that the bar downstairs (on Saturday night) had a very loud band playing until late into the night. But other that that inconvenience, our room was fantastic. We look forward to staying at a Weber Hotel in the future. The room was perfect, and the hotel staff (Sam) acted like an owner, rather than just an employee! He couldnt have been more gracious!

We stayed the night before leaving on a Grand European river cruise with Viking. We strongly recommend this hotel if you are going on a Viking cruise!!! You wont be disappointed!

Weber hotel definitely met our expectations. The room was spacious enough for 3 people. They have AC, though our room is at the basement, didn’t really get bothered because the street was not that busy. Front desk and room service lady was superb. Transportation is very accessible. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Amsterdam.

The hotel has great character and is in a fantastic location for walking to restaurants and shops. Our room was big enough and the beds were comfortable.
The main issue was that our room was on the top (5th) floor and we had large, heavy suitcases with us. Not only is there no elevator, but the stairs are very steep and winding. We’ll never forget hauling those bags up the stairs…It turned out ok, but I would have booked a different hotel if I had known.
Our room also faced the busy street, with a bar across the street that doesn’t close until 4:00 AM on weekends. The patrons at the outside tables were loud. We got used to the noise from the trolley cars passing right outside, but the noise of people shouting was harder to tune out. The hotel provided ear plugs, which did help somewhat.

This place is great - terrific location, right on Leidseplein but far enough away from the noise and bustle. The rooms were good size, really clean and the staff are great. The stairs (we were on the 3rd) were insane but honestly it adds to the charm. Can’t say enough good things about this place, comfy, clean, location and great staff. As a bonus - easy walk to amazing cafes and canals.

The room was very dusty, dust was flying in the air, we were disturbed even while sleeping at night, and the sounds from other rooms were echoing as if they were talking in the room. Other guests staying at the hotel at night were shouting and chatting in the corridor. Please take precautions for this. Also, can you please put slippers in the rooms.

Nice Stay w/Right Expectations

Overall, our stay was great. Location is nice as it is not smack in the middle but not too far out to make stopping midday for a break inconvenient. Check-in and out was also straightforward with no problems, and the accommodations were clean and very nice. I do wish the body wash in the shower were filled as it was mostly empty when we arrived and was not re-filled after housekeeping had stopped in to the room. Also, I wish the windows opened more as in the evening, the outside temperature dropped but we could not cool the room off by opening the windows, so it stayed quite warm inside.

Yes, the stairs are steep and the hotel faces two pubs across the street that stay loud and active until the early morning hours, but none of it was unexpected for us and the hotel does provide earplugs, though the noise did not bother me from falling asleep.

Our stay worked well for us and if we were back in Amsterdam, I would consider staying at the Weber again.

We had a great stay in Weber hotels, we had a great check-in, and were directed to our room, which was a good size for us. We got a nice pamphlet showing us their recommendations as locals. The only con was the stairs down to our room, which were really steep. I’m bad walking myself, so it wouldn’t have been a problem otherwise. Great location, safe area and generally a nice hotel.
