The room was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable overnight stay. It was in a good location with parking available if needed. The only problem I had was getting into the building, it took me several attempts using the code provided but I am not the most tecnologically advanced human so It was probably my error! Perhaps a better light in the entrance proch would help?

The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean. Access was easy using the door enrty codes provided. Wifi was good and easy to log onto. The Guest house was also vey quiet, with no disturbances.
I used the breakfast room before I left, and ate granola, greek yoghurt and blueberries with a Coffee latte. These were dispensed from a vending machine, but were fresh and tasted lovely. Bowls, mugs and cuttlery were available.
The staff I met were also friendly and chatty.
I would highly recommend staying here.

I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. Faultless from start to finish
I booked the stay as part of a surprise for my husband's birthday, and he was very impressed and absolutely raved about it. He could not fault a single thing about our stay. Starting with the location, it was not far to walk to York centre (around 20 minutes or so). We stayed in the Samurai suite. The theming of the room was fantastic, right down to the sunken bath. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was evident that the owners had not scrimped on quality of the furnishings or bedding. We had a very warm welcome from our hosts, and were greeted each morning at breakfast equally warmly and by name. The selection at breakfast was fantastic, even down to the homemade granola which was so tasty, I bought a bag to bring home with me. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his cooked breakfast which could be personalised when ordering the night before and ready for a time of our choosing. The whole stay was faultless from start to finish.

Great location 10-15 flat walk to Yorkminster. Brilliant attention to detail (tissues and cotton pads in the room). Very high quality bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet. Lovely breakfast, would recommend and will stay there again when in York.

Great 2 night stay, slight issue with Expedia which Tony sorted out for us swiftly, great service and a fantastic room, luxurious pillows and bedding/mattress so slept so well and didn’t hear any outside noise. The room has loads of technology if you want to use it. The aircon was a great extra and was lovely and quiet.The breakfast was really good, loads of choice and quality food. I recommend this to anyone staying in York. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels and B&Bs through my work I can honestly say this is one of the Best ! A real credit to the owners. Very Impressed amazing place
We were allowed to park our car up due to arriving early. the room was warm & the shower was hot and powerful. we stayed in rm4 (king size four poster bed) there was a mini fridge with complimentary two cans of coke & water ( nice touch)All lights were electric, lots of power points, the blinds to the windows were electric. they even provided a iron & board !! there was a safe as well. Breakfast was really good & tony who served it was friendly & made us feel very welcome. All I can say is they have thought of ever thing .

Very handy location: our car remained in the parking area right in front of the hotel for the duration of our stay and we walked into town every day.

Short mid-week stay to take in the city of York and surrounding areas. The guest house was immaculate and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The guest house was well positioned within one mile walking distance into the city centre. There are a variety of breakfasts on offer, but the full English breakfast was superb. Ordering of breakfasts and mealtimes, temperature control of room and other facilities were all available through the Tower Guest House app.

We stayed in room 6 on the 2nd floor. V large, comfortable king bed; quiet fridge; tv with lots of choice. Despite being next to York hospital we found it quiet with windows almost shut. Breakfast choice was great & tasty. They have an app which you use to pre-book breakfast sitting & choices. Daily room cleaning before 1pm if you want - use the app to show when out.

Our stay was very good . We even managed to do the remote checkin and pre breakfast order . The room was well equipped with lots of little extras. We had Room 4 , the only problem was the water from the shower went all over the bathroom floor ( not just in the shower area) as it was not enclosed . Breakfast was excellent . We would stay again if we return to York.

We booked the Tower Guest house as we wanted to stay somewhere with a boutique feel. Our room was decorated to a high standard, tea & coffee facilities, small fridge with fresh milk provided. Bed was very comfortable. Shower is a walk in , wet room style. Only minor drawback is when showering the flooring outside the shower area also gets wet. Room was also very warm. It wasn't clear that you could control this from the hotel app. Breakfast was very good. Distance into York is approx 20 minute walk. We used UBER when we went out in the evening.

Host's very friend with a real personal touch unlike large hotels. The room was spotless with air conditioning which was real bonus.will def stay again if visiting York. We stayed in room 6 on the top floor in the oriental Tang room. The room was spacious and the bed comes. There was an app sent to us by text message allowing us to order breakfast, change room temperature and lot more convenient uses. The breakfasts were lovely and Tony the host is a lovely man.
