This hotel is really close to Sta Lucia train station, actv dock & lots of restaurant around the area, hotel is very clean & cozy, bathroom is big, comfortable bed, big closet that fits luggages, nice staff, very friendly. I will definetly stay here again if i come back to venice.

Had a great stay. The room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location is great - a few mins walk to the train station and lots of restaurant choices a short walk away. Breakfast was simple but very much appreciated and was replenished regularly - also there is a little outdoor seating area which was really nice. No elevator - we were on the 4th floor - good exercise :) The staff was fabulous - We arrived early and our room wasn't ready yet and they held our luggage and even put it in our room for us. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay here! From the second we walked through the door, the employees here were incredibly kind and welcoming. They were able to get us to our room earlier, as well as accommodate to the fact we had an early check out by leaving some breakfast in our room. Very thoughtful! Breakfast was abundant and delicious! We would definitely recommend staying here. Price to stay was affordable, too!

Excellent location a few minutes from the train station. It felt safe walking nearby even at night. The staff was delightful and helpful. Breakfast is simple and there is a cute patio area for sitting. Plus , there is a wonderful restaurant named Il Vagone within 100 feet that we can highly recommend (others agree, it gets 4.5 on Yelp).

Really good property on a quiet street, convenient and close to the train/bus station. The staff was kind, and I appreciated they let me sneak into breakfast early so I could eat breakfast before my busy tour days. Only downside, which I was prepared for because it was the dead of summer in Venice, is the air conditioning wasn't working well. They provided fans in every room and did what they could. Would book again.

There is no lift so if your room are in level 1 or 2, prepare for carrying your luggage 1 or two flights of stairs each around 17 steps. The front desk is manned till 2 pm. There are lots of noise’s from outside traveling to the rooms at night, from people outside till late hours say 12-1 (am). However you may just need to use ear plugs. Easy distance to Vaporreto. Good 30 minutes walk to st Marco.

The hotel was very nice and very convenient since it is only five minutes away walking from the main train station. The only problem there is no elevator and it can be difficult yo go the the rooms considering you have your baggage. However very nice stay and would go back again!

Location was fantastic. Minutes from the train station which is a great point to start from or always find your way back to. The rooms are \"normal\" in size for Italian standards, not American standard BUT you shouldn't expect more. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately we did not have A/C as it broke down before we got there and had we known we would have gone else where as summer time in Venice is sticky humid hot. We were provided a fan at least.

This hotel is perfectly located, just a few minutes walk from the Santa Lucia train station on a quiet street but close to everything. The staff was very helpful with directions and Ferrovia station for the water bus (Vaperotto) is close by. It is a half an hour walk to San Marco plaza (if you don’t get lost in the maize of Venice’s streets)!

Bathrooms were clean but presence of black mold between tiles and on the sealant showed they need a deeper clean. There were showers but they are strangely placed over the side of the bath and you need to be a bit of a contortionist to stay behind the screen. Floor was very wet after using the shower.

Communication was prompt, warm and welcoming. Close to the train station (so nice that we didn't have to haul our bags into Venice, just a 5 min walk to the hotel. Even though it is in the epicenter of everything you would want or need, the hotel is nestled down a quaint alley so it's very quiet and clean. The hospitality was fabulous, check in instructions after 4pm were easy to understand, even kind of sweet. :) The complimentary breakfast was such a nice bonus, soft/hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, pastries, sliced meats and cheese, rolls, toast and accompaniments, espresso machine, fresh fruit, juice..etc. On our last day, my son's were too tired to get out of bed, and the owner offered a tray for me to take breakfast up to them so they didn't miss out, so kind! The room was very clean and spacious even with 3 twin beds, 2 nightstands, a closet and large open shelving. Would absolutely come back if I am ever for fortunate to visit Venice again. Thank you for a wonderful end to our tour of Italy! Ciao!

Nice place in a cesspool of a city
Venice is the most overrated city in the world. Local businesses are not friendly, the city is a maze and difficult to navigate, the gondola ride is a rip-off, and the boat taxi's are a pain to figure out. Most of the art is on the building walls in the form of graffiti. The hotel is pretty nice though. Clean, friendly staff and good breakfast. The best part is it's right next to the train station and reasonably priced.

The lady that checked me in was friendly and helpful. She even carried my 18kg bag up 2 flights of steps for me, she insisted. The hotel is close to the train station, which is what I wanted. The only thing I could say as a slight negative was that my room only had sheer curtains so it was quite light in there and I didn’t bring a sleeping mask. This was only a minor thing. I’d stay here again.

Close to the Bus and Train Stations. Some restaurants at the top of the street about 100 yards with a water bus station there. All speak really good English. Down side. Wasn`t any :))all I ask for in a hotel is a clean comfy bed and shower/bath room with a kettle and thats what I got. Really clean friendly tidy hotel. Would I stay here again most defiantly. The only 1 downside and has nothing to do with the hotel. We where taking the water boat back to the airport at 9.20am. Arrived at 9.10am boat turned up at 9.20am for the driver to say that they are full and not taking anymore passengers next boat half an hour. When that did turn up the driver could only take 4.When you have a plane to catch time is against you. Cost 15 euros each need to be there earlier than a plane !!

It is a very old building which was really interesting to us, lovey and quaint we were pleased. Daniella was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. It was so lovely we extended our stay. The stairs might be a problem for some but we managed fine. I would happily stay here again.

We've stopped just for a night in Venice, but this hotel was very nice. The staff was super friendly and hotel is accustomed to be different as others. They don't have room numbers, but instead nice names.

Really love this hotel, although it has no lift but it is on the. Same side as the train station so there is no need for me to lug my luggages across bridges which is so convenient. The breakfast selection is decent too. :) will definitely come back to this hotel when I visit again.

Absolutely fine place to stay! So Close to train&bus station, vaporetti station 1 minute away. I was really very suprised by the room cleanliness, comfort and silence. No drunk yelling people under Windows. Breakfast nice, fresh products, cozy and quiet dining room. Staff absolutely adorable- carefull, helpfull and always with a smile on a face. No problems with late check-in, no hidden charges(very common issue here in Venice!!). If I only could I would give 100 stars! ;)

We were able to store our bag there before and after check in, which was wonderful. We are vegan so the breakfast didn’t have many options for us but it was nice to sit down and enjoy espresso with fruit and toast. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Great location being 3 minutes from rail station. Room sadly needs updating. Warped carpeting on S. Polo room and hanging from wall border edging. Walls need plaster and paint. Knob missing from bathroom shower, exposing a small screw to grip and pull up. Definitely not value per dollar, paying almost $500 for 2 nights!
Tip: If you do do book Ca Lacrezia, be aware there is no elevator and many stairs to the third floor S. Polo room.

I booked 3 twin beds, actually there are two twin beds plus one sofa bed.
The room and bathroom are clean and very quite. The staffs are nice, they allowed me to place my suitcases at hotel until 4pm after I checked out.
The only shortage is that there is no elevator/lift at hotel. My room was at third floor, I had to carry my two big suitcases up to 3rd floor by myself.

We had a horribly delayed flight to Venice and ended up checking in at 5am instead of 5pm the day before! Luckily the hotel has a great call/security system that let us in without any issue. The keys were waiting for us at the front desk. The breakfast in the morning was also an added treat. The location was also great for us since we departed Venice via the train. It’s literally one street away from the train station. The restaurant and other recommendations provided by the front desk were also great. Would certainly stay here again. The only drawback was how small the shower was - the bathroom itself is a nice size but it is quite difficult to move around in the shower - atleast in our room. Overall a great stay.

This little hotel was a lovely surprise. It’s small, unfunny and modern, but attention to detail is there. A nautical theme inside, with white walls and mauve accents. The managers are working on renovations and what has been done is lovely - the reception, breakfast room and our room on the first floor all done (can’t comment about higher floors). A kettle and tea/coffee tray was welcome. It is located in the first alley past the church next to the train station. The first bridge across the canal and a major vaporetto stop is right at the alley’s entrance. The perfect starting point for moving about Venice, down the main shopping street, onto Rialto and St Marks.
