This property is under going a renovation which is very needed, the rooms are very tired looking, but clean hopefully they will get those done soon. The lady on reception was extremely helpful and very nice Lautoya. Breakfast was good and the server was very friendly.

The best part of this property was the staff. Upon entering our room, we realized there were no light bulbs in the light fixture between the beds. In addition, no comforters were on the beds (just a fitted and top sheet). I went down to the front desk and the lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. She was able to share some blankets and send maintenance to the room.

The rooms was in great need of new carpeting as there were many stains. Also, when we entered the room, the radio was blaring and the heat was on (which made it uncomfortable)

Upon check in, we asked for a wake up call, which we never received. As a result, we missed our 6:00 am flight.

The staff made this single, overnight stay as pleasant as it could be. Our flight was cancelled several times due to weather, forcing us to stay at the hotel longer than anticipated. The staff was patient, kind, and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was hot with excellent water pressure. The bed was comfortable and cozy.

The building front desk area and seating area with the fireplace is really nice, but the noise and loud music from the reception area that is rented out makes it un-enjoyable. The Manager was rude, and asked us to move our car while checking in, yet she was parked sideways across three spaces in the same area. In the bathroom tub enclosure there are large areas of black mildew all the way around and the balconies outside of the room face an unkept green space and interstate 95. Overall, I would not recommend this location.

Bar-meh ran out of certain items on the menu, kind of slow not to be busy.

I checked in late after 11pm. I didn't neglect to check the room condition. First, I had a bad key & had to go down for another. Furst room had mold on the toilet lid, stained walls and dirty bathroom. I was moved to a room with a connecting door & a slide lock missing screws. I slept with lights in my clothes & left my earbuds. No one will call me to get them back. Excuses about who's there, when & a safe. Very old dingy rooms. I was on the 5th floor. The lobby is beautiful and deceiving as to what to expect in a room.

Made a reservation for two rooms via Expidia, two months prior to the trip. They claim they only had one reservation and had to pay significantly more than the original reservation price(not allowed to post the rate of increase). Amazingly they found the other reservation 3 hours later and was told that I could only get a refund for unused reservation. That is terrible service. No one can explain how this happened. Would you trust them again with your bussiness? I am guessing no.

The staff was amazing there. The only thing I did not like was when we got to the room. We did see a lot of paint peeling on the ceiling. And when we got there in the room in the bathroom, there was only one shampoo one conditioner and it was booked for 2 adults So last night when we got back from the concert, we were to ask again for the conditioner and they had none.

We were stuck for the night after cancelled flights. This hotel was recommended by another passenger but we will not stay there again. First room we were given was under construction no tub no toilet ceiling debris on the floor beds not made. Went back and was given another room but after a long day of travel the staff should have known what was usable and what was not

I booked here after a flight cancellation. The staff were super pleasant and the facilities, although outdated, seemed kept up with. My first complaint would be about the beds. My son and I shared a room with 2 queens. I gave him the mattress that seemed decent enough, but the bed I slept in was like a piece of plywood with a 1/2 inch pad. It was the only time I've removed a fitted sheet to make sure it was in fact a mattress under it. My biggest complaint comes in the form of an event that was being hosted at the hotel. From my understanding it was a very LARGE family reunion that featured a DJ. I don't know if they could have turned the volume up louder than they had it. The TV in our room was hard to hear over the music playing several floors below us and the entire room was vibrating. I believe they finally cut it at 11pm. I understand this probably isn't an everyday occurence, but it seemed ridiculous to me that the music was allowed to be held at that level.

I’ve stayed at this hotel two years in a row, took a break after a bad experience, and returned this year hoping things had improved. We booked over 8 rooms as a group — and deeply regret it.

There was a 9-hour power outage, during which guests were locked out of their rooms for hours. When I approached the front desk about compensation, I was rudely told it wasn’t the hotel’s responsibility — even though other guests confirmed they were credited for the night. Completely inconsistent and unacceptable.

On another night, there was a violent domestic disturbance that went on for hours. Police had to be called. Despite reporting it right away, hotel staff offered no support, no safety communication, and no follow-up. Zero accountability for the safety and comfort of guests.

Given the size of our group, we expected better. Instead, we were dismissed and treated as though we were an inconvenience. This hotel does not value guest experience or group loyalty.

The only positives were the housekeeping staff, who worked incredibly hard and were always kind, and Latoya at the front desk, who was professional and helpful — a stark contrast to the rest of the management team.

We won’t be returning. If you’re planning a group stay, think twice

One lady at the front desk was super sweet and the other didnt even greet us. When we go to the diner at 8:30 they were sold out of pretty much everything and we were told to try somewhere else- the lady working was also the only one working. The rooms smelled like they were old and full of mildew and our covers had cigarette burns all over them. We had two towels in a room meant for 4 people. The floors were riddled with stains of who knows what. We needed a cheap hotel to stay at before our flight back out of Philly but there are other much nicer places for the same rates in the area. 10/10 wouldn't go back.

We stayed for 3 nights at this property. There were things for microwavable tea, but no coffee. I have never stayed at a hotel that doesn't offer coffee in the lobby for guests. Instead you must pay $3.00 in the restaurant/bar. The restaurant/bar closes very early even on Saturday night on Memorial weekend and there is nowhere close to get a cocktail after a long day. The night we did get there before closing to order a drink, the bartender was very put out as she was closing in 20 minutes, so she made it to go as she couldn't be bothered by customers. When we left for the day, we asked for more towels (only 2 in the room) and for our bed to be made. Neither of those happened so at days end I had to go to front desk where I had to wait while she did paperwork and stated \"Well, I will have to go in back when I get a minute\" Poor service overall except for the lovely lady that worked in the restaurant the first night we arrived on Thursday. She was friendly, funny and very helpful with finding out about places to go in Philadelphia. She was the highlight of the entire hotel. On our last night, there was some kind of celebration going on. There was NO parking left for guests. We had to make up a spot near a fence and pray we didn't get towed. We asked the front desk about it and told her where we parked and if it would be ok. Her response was \"I guess\". Overall, I would not return

When we let the water run in the shower, something black was coming from the side of the shower. The wallpaper was coming apart through out the room. The hotel needs a full renovation.

The keys would desensitize if they came into contact with your credit card so we couldn’t keep them in our wallets. The toilet was broken and the entire 6th floor smelt like cigarettes. The place was super dark and dank. Would not recommend - we left a half hour after arriving and booked other accommodations (maintenance had not showed up by that point).

I don’t usually leave reviews, but our stay at the Clarion Hotel in Pennsylvania was unacceptable. We arrived around 3 PM but were told our room wasn’t ready, so we left and returned later. When we finally checked in, we were immediately disgusted. The carpet was filthy, stained, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. In the bathroom, we found a used bar of soap with a nail clipper on top — absolutely unacceptable and unsafe, especially with our baby traveling with us.

The lack of cleanliness extended to every part of the hotel: the hallways, elevators, and even the snack area were dusty and dirty. Hair was visible everywhere. Although the front desk staff was polite, they admitted the situation was out of their control. We originally requested a room with a couch but were told they were overbooked. After we contacted Expedia about the conditions, the hotel tried to move us to another room, but we refused because we didn’t trust that any other room would be cleaner.

We were so disgusted that we packed up and drove all the way home the same night. I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. No family should have to pay $200 to stay somewhere so poorly maintained. Ownership and management seriously need to take responsibility and clean up this property. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere — you deserve better.

I felt like I was working for the hotel. Front desk not friendly. NO Hospitality at all. All the staff looked like they were miserable.

I went down in the morning to ask for an extra towel for my Son. This was 8:30am. In a not friendly voice. She said she didn’t have any and I would have to wait till after 9 AM when the housekeepers got there.

Hallways smelled and my room had bugs in the bathroom like spiders so I was scared to sleep in a bed I had to check it first. I didn't have a remote control I didn't say anything because it was last minute really late and. I had a coffee machine but no coffee to make some.
A friend of mine stayed also at a different room she had the same problem but at least I had hot water she didn't.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. However, the room had not been vacuumed and bits of food were lying on the floor. Also, one of the thin blankets hadn't been cleaned; it had hair on it. We would have welcomed another blanket. The shuttle service was efficient and the drivers courteous. We also thought the buffet breakfast was reasonable value.
