Staff are a credit to the hotel and spa, everyone we came across was polite and friendly. Special thanks to Nicole for the most amazing massage and for organising all our treatments.
Our room was clean and spacious, toiletries good quality. We had breakfast and an evening meal in the restaurant and can highly recomend both, would just avoid the pies, all we could taste was salt, everything else was perfect, including the service.

Great facilities, super clean but the best asset was the staff, plenty of them, all thoroughly polite, helpful and engaging- something you don't see very often in the current hospitality climate. Bedding wasnt a clean as could have been some marks on bed linen and for a double bed it was uncomfortable as it was two single mattresses put together and was not very pleasant to sleep on. However the spa was perfect and very clean and modern with good sauna, steam and jacuzzi with strong jets. All food very good and Breakfast was perfectly served. All staff very helpful and friendly.

Receptionist wasn't particularly helpful on arrival. Arrived at 7pm and told the pool and restaurant both shut at 8.30pm. Room was large but bathroom was small and dangerous getting in/out of the shower as a result. Food was good in the restaurant however. I don't think this is suitable for business travel unless there is an event taking place.

Staff were friendly and efficient. The room itself was nice, bit on the basic rather than luxury end. The main cleanliness issue was the bathroom where the floor clearly hasn't been hoovered or mopped in a while.
We chose it due to the pool area, which had good upkeep but it was busy including with noisy kids jumping in which made it less relaxing. Overall good but won't be back

Slight disappointment when we arrived after a 4 hour drive, receptionist not friendly or welcoming! Room was ok but lots of cobwebs and still had glitter on the floor from previous stay. Room was near the linen cupboard so lots of banging around early in the morning! Grounds are beautiful. Fab breakfast. With a warmer welcome and higher standards of cleanliness could be a fantastic place to stay

Lovely hotel but private party kept us awake
The room and facilities were really clean and in great condition. However there was a party at the hotel the evening we stayed and it was incredibly loud into the early hours. It was not so much the music but the constant voices of the guests that kept us awake. The function room is very close to all of the bedrooms. Had we have been notified of the party we would have stayed somewhere else. My advice would be to double check whether there is an event on before booking.

This is not a hotel in the normal sense, it is a golf club and wedding venue first, with rooms they let out.
The setting is really nice and the pool facilities were excellent (including the super friendly staff).
Reception shuts early so when you realise they have only given you 1 toilet roll, there is no one to contact. The lady who checked us in was lovely and even let us check in and use the facilities early. The other lady insisted we couldn't go directly to our room after we collected our cases due to a wedding despite none of the wedding party being on the stairs/on that route.
There was no indication that it was not accessible. I have a bad foot and struggled with the steps (there was a lift to the floor with the rooms but then some large steps to the room from there. You have to go outdoors to get to the room, and from the room to the bar and restaurant.

Visit to see family. The Hotel receptionist was really friendly and helpful on arrival. She kindly carried my elderly mother's bag for me. We had an excellent roast dinner in the restaurant that evening and breakfast the next day was very good too.The beds are very comfortable.

The room we were in was a superior double, it was a great size and the furniture was of good quality. We found the bed uncomfortable (personal choice). Room and bathroom were very clean and the complimentary products (hand wash, body wash and shampoo) were of good quality.
The spa area was well kept and clean although quite small and it only took a few people to use at a time to make it feel busy. The few chairs that were there were taken and then there was nowhere to place towels etc.

Lovely hotel to stay in nice room and view of the golf course. I was pleased that there were other people staying there for the night we were on the 3rd January otherwise that would have been weird! The spa and gym facilities were excellent and breakfast was fine as it was included in the room cost. The room was hot which is subjective but even turning the radiators off there was the sound of the heating all night which kept me awake for a while. It was very convenient for a family function the next day.

Up and down experience. The place is pretty and the views from breakfast are lovely. The health club was clean, everything looked new in the pool area and the health club welcoming staff excellent and friendly. Breakfast meal was good and fast service.
I was disappointed with the room - The bed was lumpy and dented, the heating never came on despite set to max so I was cold all night. Bathroom mirror light did not work. No fridge, safe, robes or tissues which is unusual for a country club/spa type hotel.

Excellent venue surrounded by countryside but not far from two main towns with all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good and plentiful with both hot and cold choices. Didn’t visit the bar restaurant but the venue looked good.

The restaurant staff were exceptional. I had a really bad cold/cough and asked for a brandy to take to my room following dinner. Luke not only got me a brandy but provided herbal tea, sliced lemon and honey, and repeated it the following night too.

A cosy little room for my one night business trip! It was my first time staying here, and it was lovely! The room was great, the staff were helpful and the facilities and dining were excellent!

Quiet and comfortable, near Gatwick
Lovely place and quiet comfortable rooms. A big bath that I didn’t get to enjoy! The spa was really nice. The hotel is currently going through some renovations so it wasn’t looking its best. No one was there to check us in when we arrived so we had to go on a search for someone. It was during the world cup final so not really a surprise! Breakfast was delicious but dinner was only so-so. We had pizza so the other options may have been better. Would definitely recommend. Nice and close to Gatwick too.

Staying here as we were going to a party locally. Knew there might be a wedding as it was Saturday and some of the reviews warned that weddings are quite common here. Loads of wedding guests standing in courtyard (into which some of the rooms open) smoking/vaping when we arrived- not the best initial impression having to walk through clouds of vape “smoke”. Room good- clean, comfy bed but terrible pillows! Went to party away from hotel and got back at midnight to hoards of wedding guests in courtyard making a lot of noise! Fortunately they quietened down at about 12.45 and I had brought earplugs so not big problem- but be warned!
Cooked breakfast was very good. Help yourself coffee machine. Pleasant breakfast room and good staff.

If you're booking here I recommend you check that there is not a wedding on. Unfortunately I missed the email they'd sent us telling us this. The wedding party was right outside the door until 12.30am when the music stopped, but the talking and noise continued.
No dairy free alternative to butter available for toast at breakfast (their suggestion was marmalade or jam, which whilst it works, wasn't what was required).
Breakfast was rather disorganised and slow with the staff having to try and make extra tables up whilst we were waiting as the main dining area was full.

The complex features a golf course, heath club, conference facilities, restaurant & hotel set in the countryside. We found the health club, restaurant & hotel room to be clean and comfortable. Health club features a reasonable sized pool, sauna, steam room & jacuzzi which were all in good order - didn't use the gym. Changing rooms & showers clean.
Our king-bed was v comfortable with table & chairs which could be used to watch TV as well as watching from bed if wanted. Wifi good. Shower worked well (though we did find that it caused a puddle on the floor as the enclosure over the bath didn't seal). Bathroom mirror is to one side over wc as there is window in front sink basin. Roller blinds on courtyard side allow light through as not black-out which is a shame if you like a dark room for sleeping. Nice 1st floor balcony outside lockable sliding door with views across the golf course - no barriers to walking along to neighbouring rooms.

We stayed one night and had a really lovely time. Used the gym which is very well equipped. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna which did get quite busy.
The room with en-suite bathroom was nice size although the doubled bed was 2 singles together which is a little uncomfortable. We met Oscar the hotel cat, we learned that he quite often settles in the rooms himself if he can.

We came down early afternoon for a late Friday kick-off at Brighton.
Had a swim, sauna, steam and hot-tub in the really nice leisure centre.
The room was lovely, coffee and biscuits and everything works perfectly.
The bathroom was not as modern as some hotels ... shower over bath (and very high and slippy step in and out), and mirror not close to sink.
Breakfast was pretty good and cooked to order, rather than a buffet. had to be sent back once due to a mistake, but fine when it came back.
