This was an extremely basic room (and it was advertised as such). We were ok with the small size and the very basic nature, however we would not stay there again. The bathroom door is too transparent and the toilet is immediately on the other side of that see-through door. That doesn't work for us.

This is a self serve hotel. Bathroom is divided from the bed by glass doors, therefore no privacy. Bed from the glass door is less than two feet. Beds are very hard I felt the springs, also the bed is less than one foot from the ground.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was the WORST place that I have ever stayed at (as a regular traveler). The room was extremely dirty with built-up MOLD everywhere, multiple hairs left from previous visitors, and hadn't been cleaned for a long time. I honestly brushed my teeth outside of the hotel and slept on top of the covers, fully clothed, with the pillows wrapped. IT WAS DISGUSTING EVERYWHERE. Really wish that I had never found this hotel, and really hope that at least one person reads this and decides against putting themselves through this experience.

There was no amenities, luggage lift was not working i have to carry my luggage to third floor and most importantly i got 10 min late to pickup my luggAge and there was no one to open the door. Luckily some other guest opened the door for me else i would have missed my bus. Do not recommend at all

Do not stay here!!! I’ve stayed in over 40 countries and this was the single worst place I’ve ever stayed! No way to use the shower without completely flooding the room which I had to clean up myself. They lied to both myself and Expedia about everything they said and did. Completely dishonest and unethical people. Promised me another room then told me and Expedia they were overbooked but wouldn’t refund anything before I even stayed one night. Anywhere else would be better!!! They couldn’t have lied more or handled things worse.

Luggage lift not working and you are expected to carry your heavy ones to the 5th floor and way back. It is not acceptable even when it is advertised as budget hotel.
Think of an elderly person have to do this which i believe is just ridiculous!!!
No staff around to help or even update when it will start working.
Overall very bad experience and would avoid at any cost.

The most horrible experience ever in my 72 years. The hotel location is soooo confusing that although I gave the address to the Taxi driver still he took us to the wrong place. Then I have to get another taxi to take us to the right place. Even there the driver got suspicious and took us around then he said I think this is it. Now we finally checked in. They put us at 5 floor up without elevator and we carried our luggage. I didn’t know how to cancel the reservation and go to another place. There is No Soap or anything to call the place A hotel. I am surprised we didn’t have heat attack.

Easy to check In/check out and really like that there were self servce luggage storge in the hotel before the check in time. They had bed, hanger, towels, platic cups, tissue, soap, all in one shampoo. The hotel itself was really quiet but it was Saturday to there were roof top party was going on at the next buiding… The music was so loud until the late night… The 2 things that I didnt like were the luggage lift was broken so we had to carry our luggage to the second floor… And the room was too small that I couldn’t even fully open my luggage..

Check in was super easy. There were no amenities. It is a room with two beds, two towels, two pillows and two blankets with not much else. If super simple is what you need, this is the place for you. Very convenient to the main train station in Zurich. I was only there for one night so it was okay.

I was 5 days in Switzerland and they never clean my room, not change my towels, not check shampoo and soap. Plus not A/C in rooms. It was really hoy because is summer time. The only thing that is really worthy is the walkable area and near to Zurich HB céntrale station.

The hotel is adequate for a place to sleep and shower. I would advise against staying in the summer, there is no AC and the rooms are not well ventilated, no fan, no mini fridge for cold drinks, no ice machine. I couldnt sleep well as I kept waking up in a puddle of sweat. The staff that I met was very friendly, helpful, and advised that it was going to be very hot here in the summer.

The Hotel is a walking distance from the main train station from where we took 9 minutes to the airport, but not the best neighborhood.
Since the Hotel didn’t have air conditioning and it was hot, we let the windows open, and it was noise at night and at 5 am people were working and being loud.

Had to re-complete the self check in process due to a technical issue. Wouldn't have been an issue if there was a customer restroom accessible in the lobby, which there is not. Exhaust fan in restroom not working or wired, and the lightweight shower curtain moves with the shower water draft so to stick to shower occupant. Highly recommend bringing a pillow, as the provided pillow is very thin. Extra firm bed, not for \"side sleepers\". Carry in drinkable water. No kettle or cups provided. Half of the room (8 linear meters) has no electrical receptacle. No USB outlets supplied, so bring your USB phone charger.

It's not cheap for what you get. Next time I would rather pay little bit more and stay in proper hotel. Location is not 8 mns walk from main train station its 20 mns. Flickering cheap pot lights. Washroom sliding door doesn't close properly shower poor quality curtian shower head very poor quality. It's good for one person for few hrs to sleep n take shower not for couple. No elevator/lift only luggage lift.

I wanted to add a day to my reservation, I ended up getting locked out of my room between 11am and 3pm while their fully automated system transferred between one reservation to another.

This is the sort of hotel that is pperfect if you simply need a night's sleep in a room that is clean and with a good shower. However, it is in the centre of town and the noise from nearby bars woke us up at 1am, 2am and then police car/ ambulance at 3am; so sound proofing is not good! It also really frustrated me that this was a totally automated system and having booked the hotel and wanting to change my itinerary I found I couldn't cancel (which was extraordinary in my view). I should have read the small print - but even so - pretty shocking given that I'd paid upfront and was seeking a change weeks in advance. So I would never stay here again or in a similar Easyhotel if the terms were the same.

The location is around 10-15 mins walking distance from Zurich main station.

There is no reception in this hotel, self check in service is provided, it is smooth. There is no lift for this 4 storeys building, but luggage lift is provided. It is pity, I didn't notice that after I pick up luggage to the 4th floor. However, I can make it when check-out. It is good.

Room is small but good for single traveler. It is clean, but no refrigerator. Shower room is compact.

There are plenty of restaurants and cafe nearby, also you can find convenience store around, but need to pay attention to their closing time.

I stay one night only, but it is good enough.

My room was on the very top floor and was very clean. I stayed one night but slept well as the bed was comfortable and I was able to turn up the heat on the radiator to make the room temp just right. I am happy that I found a hotel for such a great price that was near the sights that I wanted to see. The Wifi was excellent. I thought that the TV did not get a signal at first but if you change the channels you will find many stations to watch.

Although it does not have front desk, the check-in process is very intuitive and easy to complete.
There are multiple restaurants on the same block, lots of options. My room overlooked the backyard and dining room of a nice restaurant. It is quiet and no noise even when we opened the windows. Overall the hotel is adequate.

If you’re looking for a cheap barebones room with no towels, flat pillows and no air circulation then this is your place.

The room was miserably hot. The window opens a few inches at best, but offered no reprieve. There were no towels in the room to start and had to email an offsite receptionist who directed me to a cabinet in the reception area to pick up my own towels. After trying to deal with the heat I asked if there were any fans available - they directed me to a hallway closet to pick up a fan - it helped but only after several hours of trying to deal with it.

If I didn’t have to ask and service myself for these items the stay would have been a bit better.

Overall I would not stay there again, but again if you’re just looking for a place to stay then go for it.

Get what you pay for

Great location, not so great amenities. Many places in the area do not have air conditioning, but the rooms are very small and therefore build up heat really quick.

Hairdryer tended to overheat, and there is very little space to manoeuvre. This is one of the cheapest hotels in Zurich so you get what you pay for.

The check in was really quick (via lobby computer) and rooms/lobby really clean.

2 stars is probably fair, an extra pillow (you only get 1) would go a long way.

As expected for the cheap price compared to other hotels. Just a place to stay with a bed, tv, and connected bathroom and shower. Fine for 2 friends comfortable being in close quarters. Would be a bit warm at night since there is no AC but since we weren’t there on a weekend we didn’t have a problem with noise after 11pm or so. If someone asked me if I recommended it I would say it’s fine if you are looking for a budget option and have low expectations/wont be there much.

The only thing Easy about this hotel is the name and checking in. It should be called hardHotel. It was hard to get comfortable because there was no thermostat. We opened the windows to cool things off which made it hard to sleep because there was noise and activity on the streets until 4 am. It was hard to communicate with anyone because the wifi didn’t work and it was hard not to be bored at night because the TV didn’t work. It was hard to shower in the morning because the shower head was broken and it was hard to get service because nobody is available in the building. It is self check in (which was the only easy part). Nobody picks up the phone when you call and they never got back to me about the wifi etc when I messaged them.

Please avoid!! Stay away from this Hotel!!

My partner and I stayed 4 nights at this hotel. We knew there was no stuff at the premises and that a credit card would be required to pay upon arrival.

Issues we faced:

1. No staff at all. If you need any help, you need to call a phone number (written next to the computer).

2. The room floor was dirty, there were some white marks (I have attached a picture of it).

3. In the property descprition they do mention that there is a microwave (I confirmd there is NO microwave, only 2 vending machines).

4. The toilet room had 1 bullb flashing very badly, it was very discomforting (After emailing the hotel, this was sorted during the morning).

5. After emailing the hotel again, and asked for fresh towels and for toilet paper, they DID NOT even bother to reply my email.

6. Missleading information on the service they provide.

Please enjoy your stay somewhere else.

Easy but No easy

Easy hotel is not easy as you think. So please read careful all tern and warning on the wall. So when you get out before check out please don't lock your door! Even though before 11! The card will not working. Over all my window was broken and no heater or AC, no elevator but you can't leave your laguagge in the storage. Otherwise the will lock your code. Well everything is okay the have electric kettle and microwave.

It's important to keep in mind the hotel rooms are tiny. We called the staff because our sink was clogged, and they helped right away. The worst thing about it is the area. Yes it is close to the main station and a nice shopping area, but the immediate area around it very noisy, dirty and unsafe. We woke up to people screaming are playing loud music multiple times.

Good place. Served it's purpose for our trip.

Check in was contact free and very straight forward.
Our room was on the top floor, and there was no lift (this was no issue for us).
The room was small, but clean and had all we needed for our stay, including private bathroom.
Only issues was: there was no hair dryer and the microwave on the 3rd floor was not cleaned regularly by either the person using it at the time, or housekeeping.

Overall, I'd recommend and return if I ever went back to Zürich.

I am content with my stay at easyHotel. I needed something cheap and convenient for one night, but was not willing to compromise on cleanliness or safety. easyHotel was clean and very convenient in the sense that we were able to walk to the train in 13 minutes with all of our luggage.

What I did not like about our stay was 1. the fact that you have to check in by midnight. Our flight was delayed and we barely made the check-in time, and because it was all computerized and with no person to help, what would have happened if we didn't make the check-in time? It seems a little strange that the check-in time has a cut-off point considering that people are likely coming from the airport, which is notoriously unreliable.

My second complaint is that there was no iron or ironing board. And no one to request of these things.

My third complaint is that you can literally hear everything through the walls. I heard people laughing in other rooms. I heard one man coughing so loudly a few rooms down. This place is not good if you need somewhere super quiet to sleep.

My last complaint is that the bed is not very comfortable. However, at the end of the day, if you need somewhere safe and clean to sleep with literally NO frills, it's a decent option.

The hotel location was excellent and in the middle of Zurich nightlife. The rooms were basic and minimalist but clean. This hotel is unusual in that check in and out was by kiosk, there was no staff. Also though guests must walk up the stairs, there is a baggage-only elevator to the right of the stairs near the vending machines.

There was a luggage locker room, again all automated that was convenient since our train left several hours after check out time.

There was no onsite staff to notify during our stay or at check out when we encountered issues like a shower that didn’t drain normally causing water to leak into the room floor.

Close walking distance to the train station and City.
This hotel has no air conditioning, it was hot and stuffy even when it had cooled down outside. Be sure to look for portable fans if you need in the utility rooms on each floor that also houses a microwave and Kettle for use.
Be aware that no staff are visible at the hotel, but when I emailed about a possible duplicate payment a response (abrupt) was received promptly.

Way below mediocre (pretty bad in fact)

Pretty bad stay overall.
1. They forgot to put out the towels and only brought them the next day.
2. The lights were flickering in the bathroom and while the customer support promised over email that they would be fixed that did not happen.
3. There were spiderwebs on the ceiling and the wall were not particularly clean.
4. The shower head was leaking (fixed on the second day)
5. The wifi stopped working on the day of the checkout, so the checkout terminal was not available and no one was answering the number on the wall (support), had to write an email to tell them we were leaving.

Complaining about pillows being puffy weird things seems petty after all that. But honestly, other than location and price (just over 100 CHF in Zurich is decent), this stay was below any expectations.

No option for late checkout and if you can expect the cleaning contractors to get you out at the exact time. Self check in is decent but if you need to ask anyone anything you have to call the call centre. I personally wouldn’t stay again but if you’re ok with all the above then it is cheap and central.

The property is 10 mins from Zurich HB station and you have a lot of good restaurants and bars to explore. The area around look bit sketchy at night. Looks like the room is not dusted from ages, I say this because I saw cluster of dust and hair on sides of the bed. The good thing is they have pantry with kettle and microwave which is very useful if you are a budget traveller.

Nice budget-level hotel in the city center

Nice budget-level hotel in the city center. No amenities, but clean, comfortable, and convenient. Easily walkable and just a short walk to central train station. Plenty of shopping, food, nightlife, and attractions nearby.

Very bad. Tiny box (\"room\")

The room too small even for one person. We had no other change than upgrading to bigger room. WE was really surprised, it felt just like a scam.
The hotel manager told us that \"it is the customers problem that they not fully aware to all details\".
Better stay away from this \"hotel\"...

Bad experience

AIt was very bad experience with easy hotel at Zurich, first of all the room I booked was not the same, it was dirty and on 4th floor without elevator.

Moreover I was facing problem while self check in and my cards were not accepted due to technical issue. Nobody was there physically to help or guidance.

Room was too small and not comfortable at all.

Very bad experience, will never suggest anybody to easyhotels.

People from the US aren't allowed to travel to the EU, where the bulk of my trip was supposed to be. The hotel wouldn't give me a refund from a reservation that I made in January, before the covid shut down. I understand that this isn't the hotel's fault, but it isn't mine either. I was not able to stay in the room that I paid for.
