The room was clean and spacious. Really comfy bed and linens, great shower pressure and temperature, good airco, cute deco. The staff is super friendly. Location is fabulous. Rooftop is the place to be. Nice jazz lounge on weekends too. Harty and delicious breakfast included.

A couple perplexing things I have to mention:
1. no coffee/tea maker in the room, although room service is available and included w breakfast.
2. The blue apple private beach club access is included but I had absolutely no idea until we were checking out. Nobody said a thing and there was no indication in the room whatsoever. That is something I would definitely have wanted to do over a rushed Rosario island tour. Next time I guess.

We booked the Condor Suite (with a pool) and had a fantastic stay! The staff is quick and courteous, the rooms are well equipped and clean, the beds are comfy and the showers are good. The breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed the rooftop views.

My only critique is that the showers didn’t have closed doors so water would spill out at times.

Overall, 5/5, I would highly recommend this place and stay here again!

My stay at the Townhouse Boutique Hotel was simply exceptional. This hotel truly has it all: spotless cleanliness, a warm and modern atmosphere, and a sense of comfort that you feel from the moment you arrive.

What really sets this place apart is its staff. They are kind, diligent, and incredibly knowledgeable. Always willing to help, they offer great recommendations and make you feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.

Amazing experience!!! This hotel looks brand new. The place is beautiful, very modern maintaining the magic of the traditional Cartagena. The service was great, Laura, from reception, was the best turist guide that we could get. She knows the best places to visit. Finally, location, location, location!! The hotel is just a few steps from the main turistic attractions such as the \"Torre del Reloj\". In conclusion, I have stayed here twice and I already want to come back. My stay at Townhouse Boutique Hotel Cartagena was wonderful from start to finish. I had a few booking issues upon arrival, but Jesse and Laura at the front desk handled everything within moments. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly impressed me and set the tone for my visit. For fellow Americans, communication is easy — most of the staff speak fluent English and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

The room was modern, stylish, and full of personality, with fun artwork and clever design touches. Though not huge, the space was efficiently arranged and spotless, making it both cozy and practical. Everything worked perfectly, and I appreciated how the décor reflected Cartagena’s creative energy.

The rooftop bar was easily the highlight of my stay. Located on the 5th floor, it offers a cool escape from the city’s heat, with refreshing coastal breezes and a vibrant atmosphere. The menu was exactly what I hoped for, and the staff up there were friendly and attentive.

Overall, the Townhouse Boutique Hotel blends modern comfort with great service and a fun, welcoming vibe. I’d absolutely stay here again — whether for the rooftop views, the excellent staff, or simply the relaxed energy that makes Cartagena unforgettable.

This property has a lot to offer. The staff is kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and have in-unit AC. The rooftop bar is cute and charming at sunset. The location is fantastic, right in the center of their city. The streets are active in the summer (all day and all night). The complementary breakfast is delicious (and you can call it in via room service for no extra charge). The only thing to consider is that the walls are thin, but with all the activities in Cartagena, you will sleep like a rock!

The hotel was in a central location to the activities that we were doing in my group. The concept of the hotel was cute but there were things that made my experience less than desirable. I had issues with my room such as the tv not working, the safe not working, the ac leaking, the smoke alarm going off when I would take a shower and a random beeping nose that constantly went off during the last night of my stay. I also found the towels and linens to be dingy and stained.

The staff were mostly helpful and friendly. The food in the bar was pretty good.

This gorgeous boutique hotel is exactly as pictured. The staff is super friendly, and the breakfast (included) is delicious. The hotel has been thoughtfully designed so it is a really harmonious experience being there. A huge bonus is their sister resort, the Blue Apple on Tierra Bomba island. Guests of the Townhouse don't pay a day pass fee for travel to and from and use of Blue Apple's facilities. There is a port fee to pay (if I remember correctly it was about $80 for four people), and you do pay for your food and drink, but this was a wonderful surprise for us, as we'd expected to pay $80 - $100 each for a day pass to an island resort for a beach day. Also good to know: the old city in Cartagena is a boisterous place, but the hotel's windows/doors are very soundproof, so we always slept soundly. Anyhow, 10/10!

We really enjoyed our stay at Townhouse Boutique Hotel! It's inside the walled city so you are close to EVERYTHING. My room was clean and bright. The food was good as well. Also, every staff member was polite and accommodating. My only complaint is that my bathroom was super small. We had a hard time maneuvering around in it. You basically have to step into the shower to close and open the door while in there. The space is entirely too small for a regular door. A pocket door is what's needed. I still would not hesitate to stay there again. One bonus was that you can take a boat to their sister resort on an island for free. You only have to pay the $4 port tax and food and drinks while there. The staff and food on the island were just as good!

I really would have loved to give this hotel 5 stars, however due to 2 issues I can not. I will start by saying our actual suite room was modern, spacious, clean and exactly what was pictured. The only form on communication with the front desk staff is via WhatsApp and they are very responsive.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and during our stay the elevator was “out of service” for a majority of our time. However, since the elevator is glass you could see it being used by the workers to bring items up to the rooftop at times during this period. The reason we picked this hotel compared to ours in the area was because I was traveling with my older mother and they had an elevator. Out of our 4 days there, here was only 2 times when the elevator was working. Since the morning breakfast was on the roof, she was not able to walk all the way up there and utilize that amenity. In addition, one day there was construction “maintenence” that started before 8am. There was no notification that this would be occurring the night before and therefore we were woken up to hammering. If it weren’t for this two issues, our stay otherwise was good.

The room was beautiful. And they say the room doesn’t include balcony but our room had the little balcony covered in beautiful colorful flowers that overlooked the street. Best arepas right outside the door, that start at 5pm! Well worth the extra money for the amazing experience .

I will be recommending Townhouse Boutique Hotel to any friends or family making a future trip to Cartagena. The hotel was modern, fun, clean and comfortable. Every staff member was very friendly and the front desk was always very quick to respond to any requests and questions. We had breakfast included in our stay and it was fantastic - great delicious options and great value - way better than your typical continental breakfast! We made good use of the rooftop pool, which served as a much-needed cool down after exploring the city in the heat. The rooms were well-serviced every day and the shower had great pressure and never-ending hot water! Excellent stay all around!

There’s a lot of art throughout the hotel. The staff was really helpful and responsive. The hotel provides a lot of amenities. The rooftop is a really nice spot to hang out. The air conditioner leaked in our room, but the staff took care of it. I wish breakfast started before 8am, since most tours begin at that time. The music from the rooftop bar can be loud at night. The food was really delicious. The staff even brought breakfast to our room right at 8am, so we could make our flight in time.

Truly, if you’re going to Cartagena, I HIGHLY recommend townhouse boutique hotel. There’s literally nowhere else I would consider staying. Unfortunately, due to weather we weren’t able to experience their sister hotel which also has raving reviews on here but hopefully I will be able to the next trip around. The staff here is literally incomparable to any other place I’ve stayed and I’m not just saying that to say it. So sad to leave, but excited to return to Cartagena and Townhouse for sure!!! The staff do an excellent job of making you feel like you belong. I specifically want to shoutout Jorman— he was an absolutely amazing concierge. No matter how many questions we asked or help that was needed, Jorman was there within seconds to help us even when we thought he may be annoyed lol He always had a bright smile on his face which made us feel super comfortable. Aldo was also another staff member that made us feel super special. He recommended the best food to eat at the restaurant and connected with us, again making us feel like we belonged in Cartagena. Jessica was literally the best server I’ve had in a restaurant setting ever in life. From her sweet smile to her ability to know what we needed for breakfast or lunch, she was literally AMAZING!

I cannot have enough adjectives to describe how great of a time I had there.. they also have a sister hotel with private beach in an island 20 minutes away which is to die for.. if I could give 100 stars, I would!!!
