I should have read up more on this “hotel”. We didn’t see any employees at all and since we arrived early, we had to pay extra for check-in since there was no one to store our luggage. The room was no bigger than the bed, no a/c, little loud with window open, rv sized shower. Pricey for what you got. Extra $ for maid service. Location was fine.

We needed a stop over from a long drive home. This was ideal for a bed and shower. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. The only issue was self checkin which didn't work and we had to walk to the next hotel to gain the access codes to the rooms.

High-value clean hotel convenient to the Basel Bad train station (but not the SBB station). Check in was a block away at a different hotel. Our room was on floor 3 which, in Switzerland, means up three flights of stairs. There is no elevator. So, a little inconvenient. The room was small, but we were expecting that. It was very clean and comfortable. Overall an excellent value given the price for one night in the center of Basel.

It's all about communication. I arrived on a Sunday late afternoon, there was no reception. I had to figure out that I needed to self check-in on the kiosk outside under the rain! There's no elevator, the room has no AC, no desk, and the bathroom is really tiny!
There is no breakfast, no coffee machine in the room, and no info on where I could get breakfast. A true let down overall!

Did the job; not the best or worst

This hotel did the job for my two night stay in Basel. Not far from the city center, tram 14/the orange line is literally RIGHT outside of the hotel. Surrounding streets could be questionable in the late hours, but otherwise is fine and not far from the city center at all. They have a friendly front desk, but are not they 24/7. Also, they don’t make the room - so beware of that and your own cleanliness. Worked fine, would stay again if necessary, but could have clearer front desk options/cleaning services.

This is a step above a youth hostel since there is a very small private bath, and the room was very small but was clean. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. The price seems really high for what you get (in the US a tiny room like this would probably cost $30-$40/night), but everything in Switzerland is expensive and space is a premium. Also there is no A/C, but this also seems normal for the region.

Hotel stay at the easyhotel

We noticed the floors were not very clean when we had to wipe up some spilt water. There was only a bed and very small side table. No dresser, table, chair, drinking glasses, closet, alarm clock and safe in the room. The bathroom was very small. The area is close to a conference centre so transportation is excellent. A bonus to staying in any hotel in Switzerland is the bus pass they provide during the stay. Every hotel charges a city tax but provides the hotel guest with this pass which is good on most local means of transportation.

Rundown hostel, not value for money

This hotel is one of the cheaper ones in Basel. For the money they charge it is not good value for money. The hotel needs a good renovation and looks like has not been decorated for a good few years. The curtains were dirty, there is not service during your stay so the room does not get cleaned, towels are not changed, bed sheets are not changed. On good side, the room was warm but I woke everyday at 4 because the heating pipes would start to bang as they got hot. In summer if you get a front room it can be terrible as there is not AC and the main road is outside. As, someone said before, this is like a hostel but still not value for money.

This is more of a hostel than a true hotel. Our room was cold when we arrived and I immediately turned the valve of the radiator fully open. After a few hours, the radiator was still cold even though water was flowing. It was until some time during the night that the radiator felt warm. The minimum a hotel should do is make sure their guests aren't freezing.

Das Zimmer war als einfaches Zimmer für die Fasnacht gebucht und dafür ausreichend.
Man musste sich selbst einbuchen , was einigermaßen schwierig und extrem nervig war.
Frühstück währe zu einem sehr hohen Preis nur in einem benachbarten Hotel möglich gewesen.....sowas braucht kein Mensch.
Alles , sogar den Fernseher über Tablet zu bedienen ist nicht das was ich mir in einem Hotel wünsche.
Die Check in Zeit war ab 14 Uhr angegeben . Laut dem Check in Computer aber erst 15 Uhr. Das geht überhaupt nicht.
Ich habe aber für 10 SF dann eh den früh Check in genommen . Wäre es wirklich 14 Uhr gewesen , hätte ich warten können.
Für die Fasnacht Angesicht der allgemein hohen Preise OK. Die Lage war dafür gut. Zum Urlaub machen oder auch zum Businessaufenthalt ist mehr Comfort aber angenehm.

Die Lage des Hotels war Ideal, in nähe dem Messareal und einfach mit ÖV erreichbar. Ich bekam ein Baselcard beim Ein-checken und konnte während meines Aufenthalts gratis mit ÖV in der Stadt bewegen.

Mein Zimmer war auf die Strassenseite und sehr lärmig. Der Abfalleimer im Badezimmer wurde nicht geräumt und war voll, NO GO für ein Hotel.

Sehr einfache Unterkunft mit günstiger Lage zur Messe und direkte Verbindung mit öffentlichem Nahverkehr. Die Zimmer zur Straße sind laut; die zwar vorhandene Jalousie war nicht zu benutzen. Die Nasszelle war klein, aber weitgehend sauber. Der Preis für die Unterkunft ist vergleichsweise hoch, aber angesichts der generell hohen Preise in Basel gerade noch akzeptabel. Ein Blick in andere Zimmer des Hotels erweckte den Eindruck, als ob die über eine Plattform gebuchten Räume besonders einfach sind ...

het hotel is in zijn beginsel prima, goedkoop en goede kwaliteit bedden etc. het enigste nadeel was dat de badkamer heel erg klein was. als je wou douchen kon je dat ook op het toilet doen. en zo werd de badkamer dan ook helemaal nat. dit was niet handig voor het toilet papier. het hotel ligt heerlijk centraal en vrij rustig gebied. trams naast de deur die je gratis door de hele stad brengen. dit was ideaal.

La camera adatta per un soggiorno breve,piccola e con bagno,abbastanza pulito. Abbiamo alloggiato per una notte,il 21 agosto,un caldo terribile senza aria condizionata,solo con un ventilatore, non abbiamo dormito nulla. Purtroppo non avevo letto non ci fosse 'aria condizionata e nemmeno mi aspettavo 36 gradi a Basilea. Il check in avviene all'hotel Alexander,a 100 metri di distanza. Sarebbe stato cortese avvisarci con un messaggio e non farci arrivare all'hotel e poi chiederci di spostarci. Abbiamo chiesto un taxi per le 4:15 am, ma il taxi non arrivava. Dal citofono si può contattare qualcuno del personale ma non si sente molto bene. Contatto due volte perchè il taxi non arriva,dopo 15 minuti, ci siamo fatti una corsa all'altro hotel per parlare con qualcuno della reception e il taxi era li che aspettava e la reception chiusa.Disorganizzati.

Eine gute Unterkunft im Zentrum Basels, die ungefähr auf der Mitte der Strecke zwischen dem deutschen und dem SSB-Bahnhof liegt und zu Fuß gut erreichbar ist. Wir hatten auch ein größeres Zimmer als gebucht, nehme ich an. Das war super.
Leider war der Check-In nicht problemlos. Wie ich vor Monaten schon per E-Mail mitgeteilt bekommen hatte, konnte man dort keinen Selbst-Check-in machen, sondern musste zu einem anderen Hotel. Dort war die Tür bereits für die nächtliche Sicherheit geschlossen. Als ich klingelte, wollte man uns nicht reinlassen als ich vom EasyHotel geredet habe, sodass wir direkt zum EasyHotel gelaufen sind, um zu prüfen, ob dort vielleicht mittlerweile der Self-Check-in funktioniert. Dort war nur wieder ein Hinweis auf das andere Hotel. Als wir dann zurückliefen, kam uns dann der Mitarbeiter von diesem Hotel bereits entgegen und sagte uns, dass wir den Check-in dort machen müssen, obwohl wir vorher nicht reingelassen wurden...
Ein anderes Problem waren Renovierungsarbeiten im EasyHotel. Bereits am Morgen hatten diese begonnen, weshalb wir auch nicht bis zum Check-out ausschalfen konnten. Das ist sehr ärgerlich, wohl wissend, dass es ein Hotel ist und wann die Check-Out-Zeit ist...

Es tut mir sehr leid für das Missverständnis. Bitte erlauben Sie mir, meine Bewertung als Kunde zu überarbeiten.

Ich war kürzlich Gast im Easyhotel und ich muss sagen, dass ich sehr enttäuscht war. Das Zimmer war nicht sauber und das Bett war unbequem. Ich hatte Schwierigkeiten, in der Nacht gut zu schlafen, da das Bett sehr hart und ungemütlich war.

Ich war sehr enttäuscht von meinem Aufenthalt, da ich erwartet hatte, dass das Hotel sauber und komfortabel sein würde. Leider war das nicht der Fall. Ich hoffe, dass das Hotelmanagement sich um diese Probleme kümmern wird, um sicherzustellen, dass zukünftige Gäste einen angenehmen Aufenthalt haben werden.

Insgesamt würde ich das Easyhotel nicht empfehlen, da es nicht sauber und nicht komfortabel war. Es gibt bessere Hotels zur Auswahl, die den Bedürfnissen der Gäste besser entsprechen.

Leider ist das Hotel nicht wirklich zu empfehlen. Alles ist extrem minimalistisch und „praktisch“ möbliert. Insgesamt zwar sauber aber doch sehr suspekt.
Leider hat der Self-Check-In nicht funktioniert und wir mussten zu 3 unterschiedlichen Hotels laufen um unseren Zimmercode zu erhalten oder das Gepäck abzugeben.
Insgesamt gut angebunden uns sehr Stadtnah

Accueil sympathique à l'arrivée. Pourtant en revenant à l'hôtel en début de soirée, il nous a été impossible d'ouvrir la porte d'entrée de l'hôtel avec le code donné à notre arrivée. Il n'y avait plus personne à la réception mais heureusement il y avait un téléphone de secours que nous avons pu utiliser: un employé est venu de l'extérieur pour débloquer la porte d'entrée et vérifier également la porte de notre chambre. Pourtant à aucun moment il ne nous a été présenté d'excuses, ce qui aurait été la moindre des choses, même si c'est un problème technique ! Rester devant une porte qui ne s'ouvre pas en se demandant s'il sera possible de dormir dans un lit cette nuit-la n'est pas des plus rassurant !
