This is the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

There were no appliances such as shampoo, soap etc. Also, the shower was loose and the hair dryer was not working. The area around the property was good in terms of restaurants, transportation etc but it was very difficult to sleep during the night because of the noice of the cars and people passing by.

The lack of crockery and was dirty plus lack of cooking pans, lack of curtains as 2 will not do 4 windows. Leaky sink with bucket underneath to catch drips, nothing to sweep floor with and dirty manky stinking sponge left on sink.

Awful accommodation!! Yes it was very cheap and I expect people to think you get what you pay for. Bathroom door had swelled due to wet floor in the past. Every time you pulled the door shut the handle would fall off. Had a heatwave during our visit. The fan in the room was broken. When we contacted the number provided by Expedia they said there was nothng they can do. As we were about to leave the hotel on our last day the cleaner had placed a new fan right outside the room ready for the clean up. Why couldn’t this have been brought a few days earlier. Obviously lazy and don’t care about the guests!

Suited our purpose for overnight. Small room but comfortable bed and excellent shower with clean towels & bath wash - no disposable cups. Very hot day and no air con and fan unsuitable, opened window to noisy street and loud people till very, very late. Excellent instruction for key and lift and wifi. Lots of local eateries.

The property was awful ... pretty sure the pictures were not the same property? Issues: No A/C. Window Open and it was like the street was running through the room - window closed close to 30 degrees in the room! Ran out of toilet paper - no spare. No hand soap in the room? No dish soap in the room - are all the dishes germ free? Big reasonable picture in the living room ... hung upside down ... no joke! For the price we paid Expedia should be ashamed to represent the property ... period.

Check in was quick but the property has no staff (fully automated). The room was pretty terrible, and had a rotten bathroom door. The room was very hot (somehow way hotter than outside) and difficult to sleep in. The blinds for the window did not work. The tv did not work. There were very few power outlets , one of which would only have power if the light switch was turned on. The shower had collapsable walls and the water just pours out underneath then to the rest of the bathroom. Overall a terrible room and would not recommend it to anyone. The location is the only saving grace.

The propery did not look like the photos. When we arrived after 2pm, our cleaner was still cleaning the room, so we had to leave our bags and return later. When we entered the room, the kettle didnt fit in the power socket, there were tissues in the air vents, the TV did not work, kitchen utensils were incomplete and the main issue being the drainage in the shower. The water would leak through the shower door, even when its closed and water would flow to the bedroom/lounge room. Very disappointing stay. Would not recomment

I reported and message the hotel twice about the kitchen sinks drain was not working since I arrived the place. But until I check out and no one even bother to message me back or came to fix it. It end up I can’t use the kitchen and have to dine out for my entire stays there. Also it locate at a very noisy street too.

The property was dirty.
No heating, we were freezing for 2 night. The toilet was disgusting with blood on the front of the toilet which made us really sick. No 1 answer my email RE heating operation.
It was terrible but cannot get any accommodation near by as the rain and the snow keep coming.

Nightmare in this rat hole

It was horrible! Dirty rooms. No air-condition, its like sleeping inside the oven. The very dusty Fan was not even blowing any air. Floor was very dirty, it looks like it was never clean for months. Customer service was useless. I requested few things but i was ignored, i found the housekeeper to ask questions but she was very nasty with bad attitude. Over all it was a hell! Stay away from this place. The neighborhood also kinda sketchy. A lot of random people hanging out outside the entrance and it doesn’t feel safe. Room also doesn’t have double lock inside.

A pretty dismal experience - (a) the window was fixed, could not be opened, the only way to get air into the room was to open the door onto the hallway (b) the window had a light net curtain but no heavy curtain to stop the light in the morning (c) the TV did not work (d) the sink plug was missing (e) there was no shelf in the bathroom, toilet bags had to be put on the floor (f) no hotel staff on site

Good bargain in an expensive Zurich. The room was adequate and the bed slept well. The air conditioning was not cold as I like but a small fan in the room helped. Overall was adequate for my needs. Restaurants nearby and some shopping. About a 20 minute walk from the Zurich Hb Train Station.

All those things were fine, but … there was nobody to contact in case of a problem: if you lock your key in the room; or if someone closed the door from the inside that cannot be opened from the outside without a physical key that we don’t have. And the note on the door says: keep the door closed at all time ! This is bad, there is nobody around to help you.
And why is th TV operating only if you have the ceiling light on, and gets shut off automatically when you turn the light off?? This is so designed.

There are no windows that open to the outside. The only readily accessible fresh air is by opening the room door to the hallway. The room does not have controllable air conditioning. I rung and asked for the room temperature to be lowered or to be put in another room. I ended up booking and paying for a room at another establishment.

I have stayed 3 nights in this property... The cleanliness of the room was good, the bed was very comfortable.
The bad things i Will say it now.... The TV did not work, i had no heating in the room for 3 nights, the noise from the other apartments was very loud even after the silence hours and i could not sleep very much., if you take a shower all the water goes into your room, you need to put towels to stop entering the room.
Rather than that i enjoyed my short break in Switzerland.

Room key provided did not work, customer service phone posted on door was out of service. We found another phone number online and when we were finally able to contact management, they were absolutely rude. We had to wait outside the room for almost 2 hours. Management never apologized. No hand-soap in room, no a/c, internet did not work, and bad smell in hallway and room due to a food stall in the first floor. Manager said he did not care because I had already paid and he would never reimburse. Horrible place to stay.

It’s the worst experience I got ever in my life, even I tried to reach Expedia as well because I don’t want to stay there.. I contacted the property they mentioned they don’t have air conditioning but they said we have cooling system only then I thought I will wait for some more time might be it takes time. There was no ventilation in the apartment, we can’t even open windows as well it was fully humid.. I won’t recommend anyone staying there unless you are coming in winters.. I wrote the email as well for the problems in the apartment but none of them get back to me related to issue.. last but not the least the shower was also leaking and the water was flowing outside the shower which created totally mess on the floor of washroom..

I had initially booked this hotel without reading the reviews, and to my dismay, they were absolutely horrible. By the time I realized this, it was too late to cancel as I had chosen a non-refundable option.

However, upon arriving at the hotel, I found that the room wasn't as bad as described in the previous comments. It was clean and spacious, but the lack of air conditioning was a major drawback. Unfortunately, the weather during my stay reached around 30 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit), making it quite uncomfortable. I had to resort to opening the window for ventilation, which thankfully was an option in my room, unlike in some other rooms, I assume.

To make matters worse, there was a restaurant nearby that seemed to attract very noisy guests, predominantly of Indian descent (nothing against the nation). I want to emphasize that it wasn't just regular noise, but rather loud conversations and screaming. The restaurant turned into a party venue both nights, and the noise persisted until midnight. Even though my room was located on the 4th floor, I could almost hear every word being uttered.

Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel to individuals with sensitive ears or to those seeking a peaceful rest after a long day of traveling through Switzerland. Additionally, the neighborhood surrounding the hotel had an Indian influence and was not as clean as other parts of Zurich.

For a lady travelling on her own this was not the property to stay in. Noisy with an Indian street cafe under my room so there was a delicious smell of Indian cooking all day and night and lots of people in the lobby blocking the door into the building. I was on the first floor, and maybe this added to my concern and the noise level both from the cafe and the street. Maybe a top floor room would have been quieter. The first time in hundreds of hotels I have booked with Expedia I would not recommend or ever visit again

You don't realize the importance of air conditioning at a place, this was the first place i landed after a 9 hr flight, i was at the property at 12 noon my checkin was at 2,
Guess what no ones here to answer anyquestion, u get your key by an automated keyboard not before 2 pm. We had to wait on the road with all our luggage until it was 2pm. During the day outside noice was ok but at night if you open the window on the road side, someones talking/ yelling all night (until 4am) if you close then window. Then you are suffocated becaused the unit has neither air-conditioning nor a fan.
I was told by some others in the complex their unit faced the road and they couldnt open the window on the road side as it was sealed, poor people couldn't sleep as it was 40 C whole night, only God know about carbon monoxide poisoning

The room was facing the street.
You can not open the window.
Stuffy smell in the room from lack of fresh air. Had to open the hallway window and room door to get some oxygen into the room.

The elevator wasnt working when we stayed there and our room was on 62. Omg can you imagine how stressful it was to carry luggages up to level 6 with stairs? Also the toiletteries are just lacking when i clearly put in 4 people. There was no reception as well and no one to be called.

Convenient location.

Check-in process was easy once you completed the registration online. Once we entered our room, the bed was not made and the room had not been serviced yet. However, they cleaned our room within 15 minutes and everything looked as expected. Everything else was fine. The area is a bit loud. The location is good as it is walking distance to the train station and Old Town.

Ventilation system pumps curry scent into bathroom

Had great difficulty checking in as I did not receive any instructions as it said I would in the email. Room was not exactly big and made worst by the fact there was a huge wardrobe blocking a lot of the space... Ventilation system also was bad as there is an Indian restaurant downstairs and the ventilation was pumping a curry scent into the bathroom.

An okay budget micro-hotel

The automated kiosk was unable to dispense the key because cleaning staff were using at the time (attempted to check in about an hour after the earliest check-in time). The flooring in the room has warped from water damage so it kept the bathroom door from fully opening. The room was very quiet, but at the expense of completely sealed windows during a warm summer visit. The India Street Food takeaway located at the entrance is fantastic!

The room was barely ventilated. It had no window we could open and only tiny holes which it wasn’t clear where they went. There was one fan keeping us alive. It was so hot and stuffy, we could feel our health deteriorate daily! Luckily we were there for only a week, any longer and it could have impacted our overall health. Not only this but the floorboards were broken and uneven by the bathroom door which meant we couldn’t move it very easily. Also the cleaner came in unannounced to our room twice! All this for prices that you’d expect at a 3 star London hotel! I will be seeking compensation.

Less than average expected amenities, 2 towels for 4 persons, no facecloth, no dishclothes and, not enough serving dishes or toilet paper etc for 4 people . No attendant or receptionist and no cleaning service during stay meant no one to help with issues. Clean enough but not typical hotel level of clean.. Entrance obscured and easy to miss. We waited for 3 hrs for the room but we did in all fairness come there before checkin time as our flight was in at 900am and we went to hotel at 10. I had thought i read there was locker/lockup available for liggage but it wasnt so we we were disappointed to be tired and waste time at nearby mcdonalds waiting for room availability.. we did get access around 12:30. Location is perhaps "family unfriendly?". Overall we found it very central to our travel plans from central station. The room was clean , white and fresh and certainly adequate and good value. I think they need to tweek how they can provide a few additional and better amenities as are
Sandard in the industry for a "furnished apt.. thanks.

The property is newer (in the inside) and clean however the fact that this property has NO reception/front desks so checking in and if you have complain or query is challenging. They send an email on how to get key, but who reads his emails all the time? I am used to book a hotel, show up, then check in.
It was 1 am when I arrived in Zurich, So I called the number printed on the door and the gal I spoke to was not so eager to speak to me and told me to next time to please call her during office hours!!! So she was expecting me to sleep on the street, wait till office hours then help me?
Another thing this building has a central HVAC system, It turned out now that the AC is so warm (it is 1 am now in the morning). I phoned in again the number. The person on the line this time is polite compared to last time. Unfortunately he said they can only adjust the heat in the morning.... What a terrible experience. It is indeed relatively cheap compared to other properties here in Zurich (as Zurich is really known to be expensive) but as the saying goes, you get what you paid for. Good Luck on those future customers

I was disappointed that an email I sent several weeks ago was not answered. This was to ask if we could leave our bags at apartment early. We arrived by plane from Australia at 0630. Long walk from before train station only to find out we could not. I had carried 20 kg on my back. I was not impressed. When we finally got into our room it smelt heavily of cigarette smoke. The windows don’t open and no ac. We were told that it was for safety. Yet one floor down on the back side an apartment had an open window. No parking. You have to go to the police station to by a parking permit for the day and then drive around looking for a spot to park.

Short stay in Zurich

Tidy and reasonably priced room for a short stay. No kitchen amenities or air con (that we could find). The apartment is a 15 minute walk from the train station.

Arrived having booked 2 rooms but key code only provided one room key. 24/7 hotline busy but got through after 10 minutes. Quick fix to provide 2nd room key but this room had no safe, kettle had wrong plug and window badly cracked. Reported these but not fixed during our 4 night stay. Our room had a lovely large wardrobe but no hangars. These were provided next morning.
Rooms are large, clean and had a good shower room / toilet. Bedding is not as large as the bed but not a problem in warm weather. Location is very good with restaurants and bars close at hand, including an asian take away next to the entrance.

The apartment itself is good with most amenities & seemingly good location with restaurants & markets all around. The big disappointment is in the maintenance & care inside or lack thereof basic careless needs inside the biggest being the toilet whole top seat was loose & not stable because of a missing screws. Also, large television was nice but didn't work as i suspect it might be the remote battery as it was old & needed replacing. Wifi was really weak as devices kept going offline. Finally, Floors & other parts of the unit could have been cleaner as this could have been much better experience if they put in the TLC.

When we arrived on time to check-in at 2pm the key box doesn't work. It is actually not already for checking in yet. Finally a guy comes to process the key box so we can got the key. The room totally messy hasn't been cleaned and garbage every where and so do other parties check in with us at the same time. We call and 2 ladies show up for cleaning sloppily. I am standing aside and eye some covers not changing at all, like pillow cover. The air condition is super poor and they provide a tiny little fans. We cannot get into sleep because of the high temperature. We are very disappointed for the service. Besides all, we have to say it is very good location close to the central train station and supermarket is just across the street.

Hotel near Good Food

The hotel was a surprise. From the outside it does not look very appealinf but the inside was very nice. There is a kitchenette that was very useful during our stay. The only downside was there was no toilet paper or toiletries provided besides towels.

This hotel room did not have privacy curtains that fully covered the windows, so at night I could not turn on the lights and not be seen by multiple neighbors. The curtains that were there were stained horribly. The room smelled of mildew (from the sink?) and what was serving as a pillow was disgusting! The shower didn't contain the water. Curtains and pillows are not negotiable!

Spacious home with a complete kitchen ware.

Great location and very convenient to get transportation. As usual, I faced the problem of check in key code not functioning. I saw the people in front of me also facing the same problem. I call to service center for getting help but I get an impatient services from the staff.

Nice apartment with all facility but they forgot to provide the curtains to my room hence there was no privacy I called them 3 times but nobody picked up. Hence forced to stay in same room for a day and night

Poor, bad service and fake images of Studio apart

I am strongly dissatisfied and disappointed against the poor, bad service and fake images of Studio apartment.
I was allocated a room instead of studio apartment plus they were 25min late to check me -in to reserved apartment studio - Images of the room will sent on email.
I am definitely will not recommend, as the Hotel has not permanent and trained staff in building for assisting guest for any urgent query.
I am making an official complaint with request for refund plus I am asking Expedia to verify if the images of Studio apartment shown on website are genuines.

Great room for modern minded

As mentioned already on the phone I would have wished that Hotels.com would have informed me about the history of the location.
Location was (is) a former Red light district
For the rest the hotel was great.
