El hotel es muy limpio y bonito, está bien ubicado y cuenta con secador de pelo y toallas. Las instalaciones están bien cuidadas y todo se mantiene en muy buen estado.

Aunque se encuentra a un par de kilómetros del lago, la ubicación sigue siendo bastante buena y de fácil acceso. Es importante mencionar que el hotel no cubre los tickets del transporte público de la ciudad.

No hay café gratis, lo cual podría ser un pequeño detalle a mejorar, pero en general la estancia fue buena y agradable.

Cons: There was a non-private private bathroom , that means that do it had a bathroom was not independent from the room my roomate can see me naked , the light in the toilet was broken had to take adump in the dark ,autoclimate non working we were freezing in the night , tiny room if you are 5’10 or higher good luck!! No amenities (no water , no nothing in the room) no breakfast included.

Pros: clean room , good location just in front of the tram 4 that takes you to the central station and old town , modern and up to date hotel

Simple hotel about 10 minutes from old town. One tram ride away so easy to get to. Not a ton to do around the hotel so late night dinner was tough. Didn’t like the shower set up - the shower had no door so there was no privacy for showering and that’s tough with a family. Otherwise good hotel.

First of, front desk was kinda helpful but a little stand off-ish but i can deal with that, room was too small, outside needs some TLC, very convenient though when it comes to transportation and grocery stores, but there’s a German lady who runs the breakfast area name Merlyne who was VERY RUDE to me, i understand she can barely speak english but my god to treat your customer with terrible attitude coz i was asking where the hot water was? The whole staff needs customer service training ASAP! Just because i didn’t pay breakfast that doesn’t mean you have to treat me like i was a piece of garbage, i dont recommend this hotel! They can learn a thing or two at Ibis style in Amsterdam by Schinol Airport! Holy cow its a night and day in comparison! Im coming to Switzerland next yr and you’ll never see me booking this place EVER!

La persiana no se puede abrir. Pero bueno, dejan una tetera en la sala, muy útil para llegar tarde y calentar una sopa, y el desayuno está bien.

Room was basic but clean. Two very basic beds and mattress. The shower is in the room with toilet in a closet. Tram was across the street. Good location with several dining options close by. Parking is available right outside in garage. Breakfast is available for 11 francs at check in of 15 day of.

In an expensive city, this budget option is clean and convenient. You can walk outside the hotel to board the tram bringing you to Zürich City Center. The one drawback is the room size—two twin beds with barely any other space to turn around.

Get what you pay for

Knew what we were getting ourselves into when we booked this but it's very basic. Don't get me wrong, clean, tidy, nice staff and friendly, but rooms feel a bit clinical and the whole shower, sink set up is random. Location wise is good for the tram and have access to the other local hotels for a drink etc so if you're just wanting somewhere to rest your head, check it out. I wouldn't say in any of the Ibis budget hotels again though. They're not for me.

Very Basic room set up which is to be expected of a budget hotel. A very bizarre room layout with the shower part of the room and it fully glazed so if you are staying in the room with your kids then a bit odd trying not to be stark naked in front of them!!!

The space is extremely tight — barely enough room to move around with a suitcase. But what really surprised me was the shower situation: it’s literally in the middle of the room, with only a frosted glass door separating it from the sleeping area. There’s no real privacy at all, which makes it uncomfortable even for solo travelers — and especially awkward if you’re sharing the room with someone.

The sink is also outside the bathroom, next to the bed, and the toilet is in a small separate cubicle. It felt more like a hostel setup than a hotel room.

To be fair, the room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location is great — close to tram lines and easy to reach from the main train station. But the lack of personal space and privacy really affected my comfort during the stay.

I wouldn’t choose this hotel again unless I was traveling alone and only needed a quick overnight stop with no expectations for comfort or normal bathroom facilities.

The rooms feel like you're in a hospital. A single flat pillow per person is about the width of a folded towel. Bunk beds only rated for 100kg. Check in staff was nice. No phones in the rooms, front desk will promise things and then not only not deliver but not tell you they gave up on helping you. Don't ask for towels, you will only get attitude

The room was very small, with no wardrobe and no mini fridge. There was also no telephone in the room to contact the reception, which was quite inconvenient.
Breakfast was the same every day — mainly eggs, smoked turkey, and salami, with no variety.

The only positive aspect is the hotel’s location, which is very close to the tram stop, making it easy to reach the train station.

I shouldn't expect much since everything is expensive in Switzerland, and Ibis was in our budget range. But for almost $300 per night, we would expect a little more. The room is small, no space to move, and there is no character. It's like a box, the bed is literally 1 foot from the shower and bathroom. Feel like you are in an upgraded prison cell. Good thing bed linens and bathroom are clean, and we purposedly go back to hotel late just to sleep

Location was good. A tram just outside the hotel. Need more plugs for chargers and stuff.
No kettle, no microwave, no fridge in room.
Very tight room. Shower has very little privacy. Hard to change properly after showering, especially if you’re traveling with friends, or even family members. Toilet seat is sooo high, barely touching the floor if you’re sitting on it.
The upper bed, hard to climb up for an adult. No plugs on that bund bed.
Breakfast was not that great for 15 euro. Coffee was too watered down. But location for public transportation is excellent. Restaurant not much around the area. There’s a grocery close by but closes early, Sunday close.

We had a pleasant stay at this ibis budget hotel. Some people may be put off by the hotel's 1 star rating, however that doesn’t reflect the quality of the hotel. It’s very cosy, the rooms are modern and comfortable and if you don’t mind the shower and sink being in the same room as the bed then it is perfect hotel in a budget.

If you value comfort and amenities, this is not the place for you. The room is very small. The weak AC couldn't keep it cooled down. The shower is in the room, not separate. The water closet was one step up from an outhouse. The door was thinner than cardboard and didn't fully close. The room had one outlet for use. The pillows were small and flat. They take the word \"budget\" to a whole new level. I booked one night, thinking it wouldn't be too bad, but I was wrong.

The Ibis is across the street from the city Tram and very easy to find and access. The hotel states that if you come early, you will have to pay 30 Swiss francs extra to check in to your room but our hotel clerk let us go to our room 2 hours early without any extra fees. The room is small and sterile with no chairs. The toilet is connected to the wall and is quite high up; sitting on it my 6'4\" husband could only touch his toes to the floor; you can imagine my situation at only 5' tall! The pillows were quite flat and only one per bed. A good value at $171 US dollars for a one night stay but would choose another if staying for any longer period of time.

Bed sheeting was super itchy. I spoke with Dilu and Evangelous and they did their best to help the issue. I was very itchy after laying in bed after shower. I couldn't sleep due to itchiness. The second room they moved me to had ants everywhere. I took a video of each room I was in. Not proper at all

The room was clean and comfortable. However one of the staff didn't really have a clue what they were doing

We (my partner and me) arrived on Friday night for two nights to check out on Sunday. The lady at the check in desk only took the city tax for one of us upon arrival which forced us to have to wait around at check out and pay the other persons (despite the fact I paid in advance and checked in for a smoother checkout)

As well as this, the same colleague who made this blunder also only activated our door card for one night so again we had to go and bother other members of staff to reactivate it because of her mistake

Aside from this, the cleanliness, location and general presentation of this ibis was good. It even has YouTube and Netflix on the TV so we had things to watch in the evenings

The rooms were clean and the hotel is close to a tram station. However, the bathroom is right inside the room, which just has one glass door with no privacy; so travelling with a companion can be tricky. Does not have a lot of amenities but you get what you pay for.

Zurich is a pricey city, so this is a real find.
Not a luxury or business-class hotel (for that, use the regular ibis next door), but a marvelous bargain for staying in Zurich with a quick, convenient tram connection into the city.
Nice shower and (separate) toilet, with a separate sink out in the sleeping area.

Arrived at the hotel at mid night to check in only to be told by the receptionist that the hotel was overbooked and they would send us to another hotel. The hotel they sent us to was not even in the city, so for a hotel we chose primarily based on location ruined our stay in Zurich. No attempt to offer any kind of refund other than offering a free taxi to the replacement hotel was offered.

When we checked in at the replacement hotel they said that we weren't the only ones this happened to. The following day we were rudely awakened from the staff with a fiery knock on the door, apparently there was a problem with our rooms, we went down to reception to clear it up, apparently the original hotel didn't provide our passport information we gave on arrival, again unprofessional service which you dont need on your holiday.
