Formerly an industrial area, now with new clubs, global companies, contemporary museums - the neighbourhood surrounding the 25hours Hotel Zurich West thrives on change. To Alfredo Häberli, it is a location that deserves a special splash of colour.

The designer from Zurich is known for his designs for Alias, Camper, Iittala, Luceplan, Vitra, and Moroso. He came up with the entire interior design concept.

He combines new and classic design elements, creates colour worlds and illustrations in the rooms in juxtaposition with the modern setting. The central bar in the lobby is a marketplace for hotel guests, locals, and the neighbourhood's scene kids.

During the day, it offers workspaces and a relaxed atmosphere for meetings. For a lunch at noon, after work for a drink, pre-drinking before going clubbing, and everything inbetween.

Almost perfect

Great place, at least for the special rate I got. Checking in at the reception seemed to take unnecessarily long, but staff was nice. The one thing they should improve is signage (room # also after the elevator, a stair from 1st to ground floor was just labelled Treppe, and only led to the pool). Great lounge/work area. Direct tramway to city center. I'll be back for another good rate.

Money over Service. APPALLING

Booked as part of a family trip with my elderly disabled mother. Due to extenuating circumstances I could not travel. I had 2 rooms booked. I asked to change the dates or cancel but the hotel were completely unsympathetic. The hid behind \"contact the booking agent\" when we all know that could have refunded if that wanted. Its a shame as I was a returning customer and my trip was delayed not cancelled, but because of the appalling attitude of the hotel I wont bother booking here again.

I understand business, but empathy and good business ethics will give you more in the long run.

We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel whilst in Zurich. The hotel is located adjacent to the tramline, which takes around 10-15 minutes to get to the main station in the city centre. The staff brilliant, friendly and helped us with information getting to the Lindt factory without having to take an expensive tour. The rooms themselves are unique decorated, clean and the area is safe.
I would stay at this hotel again if I was to return to Zurich.

Nice place to stay, lovely room and bathroom was nice. The restaurant downstairs was lively and had good food and drinks. Although it almost seemed like a night club downstairs, we didn’t hear any noise in our second level room. It was nice that it had a lot for parking.

Great choice in Zurich

Wonderful, friendly hotel. Not in centre but not far with the direct, frequent no.4 tram. Location also has good vibe, museums, and vibrant life. Hotel rooms have good aircon, free minibar and a Freitag bag to borrow. Hotel has pool table, table tennis, bike facility, car offer, sauna, gym, etc. Breakfast is very very good, but expensive.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were super friendly and helpful, the sauna was great, nice watching the world go by at the same time. You can also enjoy a game of pool, table tennis, table football for free. The hotel is right beside a tram stop, with trams every few minutes, so it was quick to get to/from the centre or the main train station. Lots of cool places not too far from the hotel including Freitag Tower, Frau Gerolds Garten, Viadukt Arches, Collective Bakery and lots of others. Free mini bar in room. Suggestions for improvements would be better lighting in the bedrooms and also the addition of some USB ports would be abonus. Other than that we would definitely look to stay here if visiting Zurich again and would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

This is a fantastic hotel- we will stay here anytime we’re in Zürich! The hotel has a fitness/wellbeing theme and is the most eco friendly lodging I’ve found. There’s a complimentary sauna on site, yoga, fitness facilities. Short walk to the river where you can swim and float. The bed was comfortable and staff were very helpful. Recommend 10/10!

Fun and Overall Great Hotel - Minute Cons

Such a fun hotel! Whoever designed this hotel and the activities did a wonderful job! So many perks to this place. Very friendly and kind staff. Nice rooms, and Love the free mini bar (few drinks, small can of nuts, 1 chocolate). AC worked well.

Cons: Unsecured wifi. The lobby was Hot.! Luggage racks in the room would be greatly appreciated along with bed sheets (comforter only in my room).

Loved how fun the hotel is (ping pong, foos ball, pool, in lobby, push up stands and abs roller in room, free mini bar with beer and soda and still/sparkling waters) our room did have strong BO smell from previous tenant and bathroom have no lock and you can look into bathroom/shower through bed side window and only thing blocking is curtains from outside which is a bit weird, also free umbrellas to borrow on rainy days, would stay again!

Great Italian restaurant at the property and lots of fun little amenities, pool table, bikes etc. We would definitely stay there again and it was walking distance to the Stadium Letzigrund.

It is funky with impractical furnishings. The lighting was poor - room light were dim and bathroom lights were in a position that cast shadows on the face. Much of the”mirror” was frosted glass and the remaining fogged up very easily. The free bar had some terrible drinks. Access to public transportation made me give it an average rating rather than poor.

Funky hotel just outside of city, 30 min tram ride which stops just outside hotel, this hotel is in Techno Park so not alot happening around here, however easy to get around via tram. Restaurant was lovely and food great, staff helpful and friendly. You can play games, pool table tennis here and sit and enjoy drinks before your evening meal. We would have preferred being closer to city but really enjoyed our stay here.

Quick stay in Zurich

Overall this hotel is great. It is an easy train and tram ride to / from the airport. It is also 1 easy ride to the city center. The tram stop is right outside the hotel. The check in staff is expremely friendly and helpful.
My only complaint is the room we got ( bunk bed room) is soooo dark. The only setting is dim lighting so if you want to do some work ( or anything else other than sleep) it is hard to do with the low lighting.

Loved staying here. 2 mins walk from tram connection to downtown Zurich. One of the most unique and different hotel I stayed in. Allowed us late check out as we ran into some issues and were very accommodating! Loved my stay here!

Very good stay with a strong welcome despite a computer problem. Complimentary drink offered at bar while reception got things working again - exemplary service from a switched-on crew. Rooms here always a pleasure. Pity that tea and coffee facilities are reserved for XL rooms. Free minibar a bonus though!

Bunk bed room was much bigger than shown in the pictures and the bed was huge! Lovely big bathroom with rain shower - all enclosed too which was good for privacy.

We really enjoyed the free table tennis and the rooftop area was nice for relaxing in the evenings. If we came again we would definitely use the free bikes - just ran out of time on this trip.

Bed was hard and uncomfortable, room was hot as couldn’t reduce temperature to cool room. No fans. No cover sheet, just a big heavy piece filled with a giant down pillow thing which made you very hot!
Terrible lighting in the bathroom.
The restaurant was very good and staff were friendly. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh breads, rolls, yogurt, fruit, meats snd cheeses anything you could want! Dinner menu was Italian and very good, had great salads, very fresh. Pizza was great! Outside patio very nice.

This hotel is super eco friendly and unique. We really enjoyed our overall stay. I asked for a quiet room with a good view but unfortunately my view was the train which was loud. We really enjoyed using the Mini car offered by the hotel. We also wanted to rent an ebike but only one was working. The breakfast was delicious but we believe it was way overpriced. Overall, I recommend this hotel for the uniqueness and friendly staff.

Good hotel, good service, comfortable, clean and very convenient for public transport \"TRAM SERVICE\". Free minibar and room services by request at the reception daily. The only two drawbacks were the hours of the restaurant, which closes very early, and the air conditioning, which is not very conventional.

A cool and swanky hotel with comfortable rooms and facilities.
The hotel has a nice vibe to it and offers a pingpong table and complementary bikes to check out, based on availability.
The gym is small but has a cute set up.

The only downside is that the location is a little bit away from the city center and the happening areas. Connected well with the tram station right outside the hotel so the connectivity is not too bad.

I loved this hotel. I would say make sure you are going to the location \"west\" because there are two hotels by this name in Zurich and we messed up and went to the wrong one first. This area is not the most walkable but it is located near the beautiful river and such a lovely walk to it. I recommend walking along the water and grabbing a float for it if you can! This hotel had the most fun interior design I saw in my whole two weeks in Europe. It had the most friendly and helpful staff and bartenders. Loved the cocktails. It was clean and you could open the hotel window for fresh air. I wish we could have stayed longer and explored beautiful Zurich. I will say the pharmacies aren't open Sundays nearby so getting to a mini mart was a little tougher as this area is a bit farther from the city. Thanks to the hotel staff! Loved the cheeky elevator writings and the whole vibe of the place.

Loved this place!

We really loved this place! It was super clean and the deco in the rooms is kinda quirky. Location is super convenient as the tram is right outside the hotel. You will get off the Toni Ariel stop from Zurich HB. There is also a really yummy bakery called Collective Bakery that is about a three minute walk with really good baked pastries and coffee. You can tell that West Zurich will be an up and coming area. It used to be an industrialized area, but the vibe will change over time.

This might be my new go-to hotel in Zurich. Got here by accident because I booked the \"wrong\" 25h, but ended up liking it a lot. Great service, nice rooms, a tram station right in front of the lobby, a 10min walk to the next train station and a 5min walk to the next mobility car-sharing station. I'll be back ;)

Had a fabulous stay here! Arrived before 11am and was given a room immediately - it was then we knew we’d like this place! Room was well equipped with all necessary amenities and more - a speaker and free mini bar were things we hadn’t had our whole trip so this was a great perk! The sauna and gym were a nice addition - the sauna especially nice after a cold walk around the city. Just be warned that no clothes are worn in Europe! We wished we had longer so we could make use of the bike rental and would have been nice to try the breakfast but it was very expensive (that’s Switzerland for you!). Overall, a great stay and would seek out this hotel chain in future.
