We had a fantastic stay in a two-bedroom suite. It was very comfortable and fully equipped with great amenities, including a kitchen and a washer/dryer, which was so convenient.
​Location: While it’s about a 15-minute walk to the city center, there is a tram station right across the street, making it very easy to get around.
​One suggestion: It would be great to have Smart TVs for international travelers, as most of the local channels were in a language we didn't understand.
​Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!

Great location, very friendly, helpful staff and the most comfortable bed and room we’ve ever stayed in. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw our room with a view of the city below. The breakfast service and selection was fantastic. We wished the 5 other hotels we stayed at on our trip were as great as EMA! EMA is a hidden gem!

What a perfect experience! Everything was modern, clean, felt new, spacious. Service was amazing, very accomodating. Wonderful room service breakfast that was included in our room rate and well worth it. Would stay here again in a heartbeat next time in zurich. Rarely do i give a hotel a perfect review but Ema deserves it.

We stayed at EMA hotels during the last few days of our trip. The front desk was professional and courteous. The in-room breakfast was prompt and delicious. Rooms were clean, quiet, and incredibly spacious. The in-unit washer/dryer worked surprisingly very well and the all-in-one function was quite convenient if you’re on the go. Bring your own detergent if you expect to have a lot of laundry. They provide a small complimentary pack of detergent for the first wash. The bus stop is located just around the corner and only two stops away from Zurich HB train station. The only quirk was the bathroom as the walls and door were frosted glass. Ok for couples I assume, but for siblings it was a bit awkward. The AC worked well and was mostly silent. House keeping comes around 10-10:30am so if you’re still eating breakfast they’ll ring the doorbell to ask if you need cleaning.

I had a wonderful stay at EMA hotel during my visit to Zurich, but what truly made it unforgettable was the thoughtful surprise I received on my birthday. Walking into my room to find a personalized birthday card and a bottle of champagne waiting for me was incredibly touching. It’s rare to find a place that pays such close attention to the little details, and this gesture made me feel truly special and celebrated. The hospitality, comfort, and kindness of the staff turned a great stay into an exceptional one. Highly recommended!

Was traveling as a family of 4, and we stayed in a 2 room suite. We found the accommodations to be lovely, well-equipped, comfortable and clean. We had a peek-a-boo view of the mountains in the distance, and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast service. It was incredibly nice to come back to a spacious and comfortable apartment after a long day of sight-seeing. Highly recommend!

Check in with Sean who was very nice and welcoming. Lobby is a small seating area but it is modern clean and nicely designed.
Room in the 5th floor was ready when we arrived since we utilized the online check in facility two days ago specifying our needs and arrival time. Room was nicely equipped with enough towels and bathrobes. It was clean and new. Bed was little rough
Good sound proofing from outside and 10 min walk to the main train station and 7 mins to the tours bus station. 15-20 min to old town. The suites is basic and good for long time stay.

Spacious lodging for 2-night visit.

Room was very nice and spacious but finding it was a nightmare as we walked from the train station. Had we ignored Google maps and crossed the river at the station but we went through the park and approached from the back. Staff was helpful but not present overnight. Breakfast is served in the room. Two good restaurants nearby.

Wonderful stay with easy access to transport.

Fabulous. Good location, easy walk to tram or train station. Comfortable room, very comfy pillows, quiet room. Extremely pleased with the in-room breakfast each morning, plenty of food and variety. Fabulous service from every staff member. Great pizza across the street. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this hotel! It’s located just a few minutes from the tram to the city center and most tourist attractions, with a tram station right outside the hotel. The property is very quiet and clean. The staff were really nice, and the room was surprisingly large. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Zurich.

Truly wonderful location! Great to have a tram stop right in front, but also was an easy and beautiful walk over the footbridge crossing the Limmat and through the Platzspitz park to the Hauptbahnhof. The views of the Limmat and the industrial quarter all the way to Uetilberg from our 6th floor windows were really stellar! We liked being able to open the big window for some fresh Spring air! The kitchen was great, with it's Keurig, good refrigerator, and dishwasher. And, we were thankful to have a washer/dryer (even though it was a bit frustrating when it refused to open at the end of the cycles, which took a really long time too). All of the staff (housekeeping and front desk) were super nice and accommodating! The whole apartment felt very luxurious and everyone concluded that it really was a perfect choice for our stay in Zürich. Thank you so much! We will be back.

The stay was comfortable. The apartment was so nice and huge and enough to fit 6 people though it says for 5 pax. The breakfast was sent to the room which was good with good varieties even is set. But we had additional 1 teen child and enough to fit in the room and even we requested for consideration to charge additional 1 pax to the same room (as family we prefer to be in same room), it was denied and asked to take another room. What to do as that was their policy.

A lovely spot for our two day stay in Zurich! Great proximity to plenty of restaurants, right on the river with a tram stop directly across the street. And I loved having a washed/dryer in the room! One thing that surprised us was the extra charge to ‘unlock’ the kitchen. When I booked the room, there were photos showing a full kitchen. We were looking forward to this after spending eight days at a small boutique hotel without such amenities. At the room rate paid, access to the kitchen should have been provided or at least clarified more directly in the booking details.

Luxury room in Zurich for family

The room was large and well appointed. We had a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath room and it was beautifully decorated , with many little welcoming touches. We ordered breakfast to the room and it was delicious and right on time. Very close to the train station and the beautiful river is in walking distance. Highly recommend this location!

hotel is very bare bones for 4 star. it’s unclear to me why it’s considered 4 stars. the apartment suites kitchen is entirely locked down, you don’t even have access to a bottle opener- all drawers are locked- just the sink and coffee pot is free. . if you want to use the kitchen it’s an additional fee each night, there is also no gym at the hotel with the closest one being a 15min walk away and the pass when i tried to use it was expired, and parking is off site, also cost 30$ a night and is a walk away. The rooms are fine but very bare bones and does not warrant the high price (agoda is just down the street, half the price and way more included). The wifi is so slow it’s not useable. At some point i gave up and bought more data.. I’ve stayed at many hotels in the 4-5 star range in zurich and likely would not return unless it was half the current nightly rate. by the time you pay for parking, gym, breakfast and kitchen you can stay somewhere like the renaissance for cheaper and get all the amenities in house.

The hotel looks and feels new, our room was ample and comfortable, it’s not a luxury hotel, but very comfortable and an excellent value with perfect wifi, fairly good air conditioning, good shower, minibar and an excellent location close to the just a few meters from the tram stop that takes 5 minutes to the train station and just about 10 minutes to the old town.

I simply love everything about the EMA. It’s easy to get too. The price wasn’t bad. Very clean. What I like most is the size. You pay hundreds of dollars to stay in closets in most major city. Not this hotel. The staff were great. I spent a week at the hotel. My return flight was canceled and the airline put me up at a hotel. Because I had stayed at EMA, that hotel was disappointing. I sat on the bed, rebooked a night Ema and left. That’s says a lot.

One night stay

We stayed one night here and had a positive experience overall. The staff who assisted us upon check in was very helpful and patient while responding to all of our questions. We had a long drive from Adelboden to Zurich and were tired. The staff member gave us time to refresh and then assisted us with restaurant recommendations. We wanted an Italian Resturant and loved our meal at Santa Lucia close by the hotel.

Loved that there were enough towels and toiletries for everyone kids included. Breakfast was served on time which worked well for us as we needed to head to airport after. We liked the variety offered.

The only issue we had was the difficulty locating the hotel parking which added to the length of our drive. I would recommend that travelers request this information in advance - the staff were helpful and responded to us immediately and guided us before then we had made more than one round to try and locate the parking.

Loved that they had a bag weight device which saved us the hassle of having to check this at the airport.

I do not plan to stay at this property on my next visit. EMA House is conveniently located to Zurich HB, Alstadt, and accessible to all public transportation. We were surprised however to find that our luxury executive 1BR suite was located on the floor BELOW the lobby. No view, no luxury. This was very disappointing. Why would a suite have no view other than that of another building because we were below the lobby? Views from the lobby were infact much better. Why did they offer suites without a view. This took away two stars from our experience. Our interactions with the staff were average and housekeeping was exceptional. This may have been an okay stay for 1 night but we had planned to stay there much longer.
